" Bye Akina! See you tomorrow at school!" a young woman yelled out to another.

" Bye!" the young light auburn haired girl yelled back.

Akina was her name, she was beautiful and her bright green eyes stood out the most, her features were flawless, all the boys wanted her but her feelings told her that she hadn't found the one for her yet. She was hidding a secret and if anyone found out she would be rejected, she was nineteen and she had a little brother and a little sister on the way, and her father had died a month ago. He was a human, and her mother a demon, which made her and her sibblings half demons. Her grand-mother lived with them and she looked like she was only in her twenty's and so did her mother. She sighed as she walked towards her house, she had gone camping that week with some friends since they had the whole week off from school. She was wearing a tight v-neck sleeveless shirt and some baggy kaki colored pants.

Akina suddenly stopped and looked in back of her, she felt as if someone was following her but she couldn't see anything. She shrugged and placed her backpack back on her shoulders and put a hand on her purse bag's strap. She then caught the scent of a tiger demon, she automaticaly knew what kind of demon it was since she was also one. She stopped once she was in the backyard and looked around again, she knew he was there only she couldn't see him. This wasn't the first time she had sniffed the man out, only she had never seen him. She was getting iritated by this and just stood there with her arms crossed with her eyebrow twitching. Her pregnant mother came out the door with her grand-mother following. They looked so much alike, only her mother had light brown hair instead of dark brown and she had blue eyes, while her grand-mother had light brown eyes. Akina's younger brother was the exact copy of her father, dark red hair with beautiful dark green eyes, she always bugged him about being a year older and it always angered him, and it made her laugh each time.

" Grand-ma Nyoko!" Akina said when she saw her grand-mother.

" Akina," her mother said crossing her arms.

" Now Hotaru, she just loves her grand-mother that's all," Nyoko said smiling.

" Where in the world is Sasuke?" Hotaru asked looking around.

" How's my little sister Marina doing?" Akina said touching her mother's womb.

Hotaru laughed when the baby kicked as Akina put her hand on her stomach. Akina looked at her mother and crossed her arms. Suddenly a black hole appeared behind Akina and sucked her right in without warning. Hotaru reached out for her daughter but the vortex closed before she could grab Akina's hand.

" Akina!" Hotaru yelled out.

Akina landed on her rump on soft sand, she looked around and saw the ocean. She then looked for her belongings which were all there with her. When she stood up she was surrounded by tiger demons with sharp weapons. She sighed, she only had the dagger her mother had given her a few years ago, which was pulsing when she touched it. As she took it out of it's shieth it became a sword and flames licked it's blade. Akina was as surprised as the demons were, one of them sent for someone, Akina noticed him very well, he stood out so much from the others who had either red hair and green eyes or brown hair and blue eyes. He had the blackest hair she had ever seen, and the oddest eyes, she had never seen anyone with yellow eyes before. Suddenly she put her guard down when she saw a familiar face, her grand-mother was walking towards her with a huge belly.

" Grand-mother Nyoko?" Akina said stunned.

" Excuse me? How do you know my name, and why did you call me grand-mother?" Nyoko asked.

" What year is this? And where am I?" Akina asked suddenly realizing she wasn't in her yard anymore.

" What are you talking about, don't you know this is a time of war between demons, humans and an evil entity?" Nyoko asked.

" Wait a minute, you told me this happened six hundred years ago, I'm your grand-daughter," Akina said looking at her grand-mother.

" That's imposible, I am pregnant with my first child," Nyoko said touching her womb.

" Exactly, that is my mother in there, I can't believe this I'm in the past," Akina said falling back on her rump.

" Nyoko what do we do with her?" the young man from before asked.

" I think she's actually telling the truth, only she's a half demon," Nyoko said looking at Akina.

" That's because my mother married a human, and besides I have this dagger that she gave me a few years ago, it our family heir loom," Akina said showing her the dagger.

The young man looked at it and then looked at Nyoko who was examining it. Nyoko nodded her head and motioned the others to put their weapons down, and then told the man to bring Akina with them. The young man groaned at this but he had no choice, the girl was related to their leader. Akina had heard his groan and gave him the evil eye and gritted her teeth.

" Now girl you must tell me your name," Nyoko said as they sat down outside of the dens.

" I'm Akina," she told her grand-mother.

" Akina, what a lovely name, well I see the fates sent my own grand-child to save us from that entity," Nyoko said.

" Save you from what?" Akina asked confused.

" You see that evil entity has been terrorising everyone and is turning the humans against demons, you have the dagger that belongs to our family, and I will give the one we have here to the person who will go with you to protect you," Nyoko said showing the other dagger.

" And who will be coming with me?" Akina asked concerned.

" Ryuu come here, I want you to go with her and protect her from any danger, understood," Nyoko said to the young man from before.

" Yes lady Nyoko," Ryuu said looking straight at Akina.

Akina stared back and they both groaned at each other.`<I>Ugh, why did it have to be him to go with me, he's not going to do as he's told I know it.</I>' Akina thought to herself. Ryuu just glared and grabbed her wrist and pulled her up.

" Come on we're leaving now," he said as he dragged her away.
