In a small town, known as Barrelton Town, the citizens live their ordinary lives. They know about the violence that goes on in the world, but they never expect any trouble to come their way. Or so the younger citizens think.
The older and wiser citizens know better. They know that their small town won’t be always overlooked, there was sure to be some violent people arriving at the town at some point. But when that day came, hopefully their hero would finally arise to save them all.
At the very north point of the town, there laid a temple. This temple was the sacred place of the hero. 100 years ago, Barrelton Town was greeted by tons of raiders from the South, whose intent was to destroy the little town and take the citizens as prisoners.
But a brave man that had a sword with a sapphire blade saved the town. He rose up and slaughtered all of the raiders, leaving the town and the citizens untouched. And that hero still lives on, guarding his precious sword so that it comes to no harm, and for when the time comes for the next hero to wield the blade.
After the hero saved the town, the people constructed a statue for the hero, and they placed it in the temple. They feel that the hero still watches over them, and that he will rise once again to save the day, like the legend says.
