Chapter 2:Confrontation

“I try.” I laughed at how crazy she can beat times and then I remembered he was in my house. I turned around and what I saw couldn’t believe.
There he was. Just standing there, having the nerve to look at the painting he gave me on our last anniversary. Which was the same day he left me….oh he was so damn thoughtful. Then he spoke.
“I see you kept the painting I gave to you. Why?”
“Because I like it and it matches mood in the room. Now cut the crap and tell me why you‘re here cause I want to know.”
“I came here with my girlfriend supposedly to meet her best friend in the whole wide world.”
“Wrong answer… I suggest you think of a better damn answer.”
“I just wanted to see you! Is that a problem!?” he yelled
“Yes it is! You’re using me friend just to benefit you’re stupid ass. And if you so desperately need to see me so fuckin badly then you would have called me.”
“I’m not using her!”
“Then what the hell do you call this! You knew she was my best friend when we were back together three years ago. I don’t know what you think of using is but what I call this is using. AND I don’t know what the hell you need to talk to me for because if my memory is correct, you left me. Which to me is showing I really don’t give a damn.”
“You cant tell me we still don’t have anything between us? I still care about you.”
“Ok, let me get this straight. You have feelings for me, and the only way to do this is to get to me by dating my friend…who in the end is gonna be screwed over by you because you want me back. Is that right ?”
“Its not like that!”
“Then you tell me what it is like…NO…I don’t have time for your bullshit. You can talk to me once you grow the fuck up.”
"You cant honestly tell me we have nothing going on here, because I know you still remembered what happened on our last anniversary together, because I do."
"I DONT!" my voice wavered...while inching toward me he speaks.
"Or do you need me to tell it to you in detail...every blow by blow....every glorious inch of your body that I touched with my lips....my tongue...my mouth........"
"no" I pleaded
"Yes” he whispered
He slipped his tongue over her lips, demanding entrance, needing to taste her sweetness. Her head tipped back, welcoming his intrusion with a soft moan that danced down her spine.Her hand settled on the nape of his neck, her fingers tangling in his thick hair.His tongue feathered over her lips, licking them softly in a silent goodbye before he retreated.Toward the end of what felt like a dream, but was something so very real, we were so closely pressed together that our hearts beated one beat.
"We can't be together because you're with her and you know that."
"Yes we can work this out, I just don’t want to break her heart now."
"So when do you want to do it, when she is deeper in love with you're stupid ass." All my resentment from the past 3 years just exploded.
"I CANT BELIEVE YOU.....IF YOU HURT HER WORSE THAN YOU'VE HURT ME, SHE WILL GO AFTER YOU...AND I'LL HELP HER."
"Are you worrying about my safely, because that’s very arousing to me."
"Everything arousing to you, you piece of shit. You know what, I hope you rot in hell
"I intend to have you, you are mine to taste, to feel, to touch and I will have you sooner or later."
"Are you ready to go yet Kandice." said Kym emerging from the hallway.
"You know what, I don’t feel so good anymore. Is it ok if I take a rain check?"
"Sure" she said while walking toward Evan. "It'll just give me more time alone with you."
she said while looking into Evans eyes
"And I with you." he said to her
"Well you two have fun now."
"I'll call you later to see if you're doing, ok?" Said Kym
"Please do, lock the door on your way out."
"Ok, bye."
While they were walking out the door, Evan turned his head around and mouthed the words, I will have you.....sooner or later.
