Hybrid Genesis

The year is 7562. People have managed a shaky peace treaty within every part of the world. The one reason why there has been a peace treaty is of a new fad. Scientists have found a way to mix animal DNA with humans. They call this new breed, Hybrid. Hybrids were cultivated in pods then released to the human that bought them. They came in any size, shape, sex, or breed. There was a store that sold them nearly everywhere. They cost a lot, but they had many uses. Some were bred to be bodyguards, some slaves, some for pleasure.

Hybrids do what they're masters tell them to, no questions asked. They usually stay in back rooms when company is over, and come do their masters bidding when they're needed. If they do something wrong, they are usually punished. They may feel bad about it, but will continue serving their master. If they start to contradict the will of their master, they will be destroyed immediately.

This story starts with an average young man named Croix. He has short dark brown hair and piercing blue eyes. He had just turned twenty the past March, and had a good supporting job at a law firm as a lawyer. He has a nice house, and a good car... and he finds an interesting companion.
