Fan Fiction ❯ Hybrid Genesis ❯ Dawning ( Chapter 2 )
Dawning
It was getting dark by the time Croix decided they should go home. Croix walked slowly along the dark path out of the park. His pet followed. Croix pondered over names that might fit. Nothing seemed to work. Nameless. Croix sighed and ran his fingers through his unruly hair. He crossed out of the park and across the street. His pet kept glancing back and forth as if something might jump out and hurt his master. Nothing did.
They turned a corner. A gang of Lawless were there. Lawless were hybrids that had been abandoned. There were mostly tiger types. They leered at the two passing by. Croix kept his head up high. He was afraid, but didn't want to show it. Two tiger breeds jumped him and pinned him to the ground tearing at his clothes. Croix thrashed wildly.
Before he could think, the two were dragged off him. Huge claws had impaled them from behind through the chest. Croix' eyes widened. A throaty snarl ripped through the silence. The two were cast aside, and standing there was his pet. An alligator and three tiger types pounced upon his pet. They were thrown off.
His pets wings were spread wide and he was furious. His tail twitched back and forth as his eyes narrowed and darted about. It was as if he was calculating how best to get rid of the Lawless. Croix managed to steady himself on his elbows and pulled himself to his feet.
His pet snarled and roared, jumping on a nearby tiger type. The tiger type froze and whimpered. Croix grabbed the dangling leash around his pets neck and pulled hard. His pet was dragged backwards towards him. His pet looked at him confused, but Croix didn't care. All he wanted was out of there as fast as he could.
Croix turned and ran towards his house. None of the Lawless followed. His pet gave them one snarl before being dragged away. When they got home, Croix scanned his card and did an ID check, unlocking the doors. He almost fell inside gasping for air. His pet knelt by him worriedly. Croix pushed him away hard, ripping the leash from the collar.
He stood and stared at the floor. Sweat dripped down his face. He felt the edges of his ripped shirt. He pulled them together to cover himself and ran down the hall into his bedroom slamming the door shut. He sat at the edge of his bed gasping. What had just happened? Did his hybrid just destroy two Lawless? And why?
Croix let himself fall back on the bed. His hybrid would have to sleep somewhere else. Croix wanted his room for his own tonight. He went into the bathroom and splashed cold water on his face. He was surprised to find that he was crying. He wiped his face off, and brushed his teeth. He walked from the bathroom and collapsed on the bed, pulling off his boots.
He heard a small knock on the door but ignored it. His pet wouldn't enter if not invited. He heard footsteps retreating. Croix looked up at the ceiling and stared, wondering if he would ever go to sleep.
Apparently he did, and he woke in the morning. It was seven-thirty. Croix got out of bed tripping over his boots that he had left there. He winced and stripped of his clothes. He had to get ready for his case. He couldn't just wander the park every day. He stepped into the bathroom and turned on the shower.
A cold stream of water fell over his body and he hissed. The water got warmer quickly, and he showered quickly. He turned off the water and stepped out wrapping a towel around his waist. He walked out of the bathroom shaking his hair. There sitting on the bed was his pet. Croix felt his towel slip from his surprised fingers, and he quickly pulled it back up.
"What are you doing in here?! I didn't say you could come in!"
His pet said nothing and kneeled by the bed. He motioned for Croix to come over. Croix cautiously walked over. He was surprised when his pet stood suddenly and picked him up depositing him on the bed. He was about to protest when he felt his legs being straddled and warm gentle hands massaging his back.
He opened his mouth to protest again, but firm hands pressed him down again. His protests were now muffled into the pillow. It felt extremely good. Croix felt his eyes flutter shut as he let out a soft moan of pleasure. The talented hands kneaded the knots in his back. He felt himself relaxing...
... until he felt something else. Moist lips touched his neck. Croix felt the hair on his arms sticking up. That was wrong! The lips caressed his neck and shoulders. Croix pulled himself up to a sitting position. He wriggled out from beneath his pet and pulled the towel over himself possessively.
"Is there something wrong master?"
Croix glared at those innocent eyes. "Don't kiss me!"
"I only wish to pleasure you master..." said his pet his head bowed in sadness.
Croix snorted and made his way to the dresser. "If you want to please me, get out of my room while I dress."
His pet exited the room quickly. Croix got dressed quickly as if his pet might barge in any second. He stepped out of the room to find his hybrid huddled there. He looked pathetic.
Croix sighed. "Okay, time for you to take a shower. You must need one."
His pet blinked up at him as if confused. Then he nodded and made his way into the bathroom. Croix raised an eyebrow as he watched his hybrid staring at the knobs in curiosity. Croix sighed and turned on the water. He watched with some kind of amusement as his pet jumped in surprise.
"Get undressed."
His hybrid looked confused. "But you didn't want me to pleasure you master."
"No!" Croix said blushing furiously. "Just get undressed."
His pet did as he was told and stood there totally naked. Croix tore his eyes away determined to keep them on eyes only. He led his pet into the shower. As soon as the water touched the creatures body, he whimpered and shivered as if in pleasure. His ears went back and he stood there, the water caressing him. He wrapped his arms around his chest as if hugging himself and Croix could've swore that he purred in contentment.
Croix figured that he would have to teach this creature how to shower. He couldn't just stand there. Croix picked up a bar of soap and rubbed up a lather in a washcloth. He handed it to his pet who looked at it curiously.
"Rub that over your body."
His pet nodded and did as he was told. Croix looked away, staring at the wall as if it was the most interesting thing in the world. A moan interuppted his staring, and he looked over at his pet. He wished he hadn't. He felt like fainting. It seemed that his pet was enjoying the washcloth...
Croix quickly took the washcloth away and let the water wash the soap off his body. Croix was getting wet from the shower, and he knew he would have to dry off again, but watching his pet wasn't such a bad thing. He poured some shampoo into his hand and rubbed it into the long silky hair. His pet threw his head back as if in ecstacy and moaned softly.
Croix closed his eyes and counted to ten before finishing lathering his creatures hair. He rinsed it out, and watched in amusement as the silky ears flattened against his head in annoyance. Croix decided it was a good thing that the water didn't scare his pet.
"How do we wash your wings?" asked Croix.
"Don't wash my wings please..." mumbled his pet.
Croix rolled his eyes but decided that he didn't know, and that his pet probably did. Croix touched his tail running soapy fingers around it. His pet arched his back and let out a moan of pleasure. Croix' eyes widened.
"Mo.. more..." whimpered his pet.
Bad thoughts flicked through Croix' mind and WOULD NOT go away. Croix gritted his teeth and rubbed soap through the tail, and then rinsed it. His pet thrashed wildly as if in some intense sexual act, which did not relieve Croix' problem. The shower finally finished after another hair episode with the creme rinse. It took about twenty minutes to finally get all the soap out of his long hair. Croix was about to turn off the water when a hand stopped him.
His pet turned it to cold, and a spray of freezing water enveloped both of them. Croix almost screamed and stumbled backwards out of the bathroom. He watched enthralled as his pet stood there for a good ten minutes under the spray of freezing water. His wings kept fluttering wildly at their half-cocked position. It was the only position they could be in to actually fit in the shower.
His hybrid turned off the water and walked into the bedroom staring at Croix. Croix gulped and handed him towels telling him to dry off. His pet did. Croix peeled off his again wet clothes and dried off as well. He changed into dry clothes. He managed to find another XXL shirt, but couldn't seem to find anything to go around the... waist.
His creature waited patiently as Croix tore up his room looking for something. Croix finally gave up and told his pet he was going shopping NOW. Croix had a sense of decency and told his pet to wait at home until he got back. His pet looked as if he wanted to protest but he said nothing.
Croix took off in his car to the clothing store. He searched and searched finding many outfits, all XXL. He purchased them and drove back home. Once home again, he immediately had his pet put on the boxers and pants. Croix didn't want to have his pet walking around half-naked all day.
"I need to do some work. You... go do something. But you have to leave me alone!" Croix said and sat down at the dining room table starting to sort out stacks of paper.
His pet moped a little and finally settled down in a corner where he could keep a good eye on Croix. Croix worked for hours non-stop. Finally he sighed and pushed back his chair leaning back. He rubbed his eyes and stretched, yawning. His pet didn't move from the corner but kept his eyes on Croix. Croix ran fingers through his short hair and sighed.
"Are you okay master? Do you need a massage?"
Croix stared at the shadows where his pet was. He knew he was there, but just couldn't see him. That was a little unnerving. He announced he was fine, and that he didn't need a backrub. In truth, he could have used one, he just was too afraid of what that backrub might lead to.
His pet moped again, but Croix ignored him. It was almost three in the afternoon. Croix stood and stretched. He cracked his back and his arms and his fingers. Everything felt cramped and uncomfortable. A knock on the door almost scared him out of his wits. He looked over towards the hallway that led to the door.
"Can you get that?" Croix asked his pet.
In a flash, his pet had stood and was halfway down the hall. Croix sat down again. Croix heard the door open. Footsteps. Voices. Talking... a growl.
"Who is it?" asked Croix leaning back in the chair.
"Master Chiave Sleutel." came the reply.
Croix mentally groaned and stood making his way down the hallway. Sure enough, there was the woman he had ran into before. And like last time, she had her five pleasure slaves behind her. Croix glared at the blonde. She ignored him and invited herself inside.
"Nice place you got here. I can see how... homely it may be for you."
Croix felt a growl start in his throat but he swallowed it down. "Yes, it's a very nice place. What brings you here?"
Chiave glanced around as if searching for more hybrids. "Oh no reason, I just thought I might be able to convince you today. You did say you would think about it didn't you?"
Croix shut his eyes and counted to ten in his head before nodding. Chiave was delighted. She dragged Croix, his pet, and her five slaves into the living room and sat down.
"Well, I was just wondering what you thought about it."
"I still think I don't want to-"
"I did some research on your kind, you know the lawyers. It's fascinating I think. Now, I can give you anything you want. You could have half the world! Just say yes, and sign these papers."
She shoved papers into his hands. He glanced at them before folding them in half and handing them back to her. She looked at him curiously. He cleared his throat and thought carefully of how to place his words.
"Master Chiave Sleutel, it's very generous of you to be offering this much, however I think I must make this clearer for you. I am not interested in selling and/or trading my violet breed for anything you offer me. I understand that it means a lot to you, but it means a lot to me as well, and I am afraid I am just not interested in selling him."
Chiave gaped at him. "But I'm offering you so much! You have to want something!"
"I do want something, and I do not mean to be rude, but I want you to leave me alone. If I decide to sell, give, or trade my violet breed, I will let you know first thing."
"You do know that I would easily leave you alone if you would just stop being so stubborn and accepted my offers!"
"MASTER CHIAVE SLEUTEL! I understand what you are saying, but I repeat, I am NOT interested in selling him, please leave my house!"
Chiave stood furiously, her green eyes blazing. "Fine! But he will be mine sooner or later! You can't keep him! I'll find a way to get him, and you will regret not taking my offers!"
She stomped away dragging her pets behind her. She slammed the door as she went out. Croix' pet looked at him curiously. Croix sighed and slumped against the couch. One of the things he hated the most was when someone wouldn't take no for an answer.
Chiave glared at the door that seemed to be mocking her. Why was he being so stubborn?! She offered him everything that anyone would want or dream of! What was so special about a simple hybrid?! One thing was for sure, no one said no to her. She smiled wickedly as a plan formed in her head.
With some help from her slaves, she would aquire the last piece of her much needed collection. That stupid violet breed that was so cheeky to her. He would learn soon enough... and Croix would learn what it was like to be ignored.
