As Kail got home, he decided to pick up the phone. “Lessee….Lynn's number…”
He mumbled as he tried to jog his memory. He quickly dialed her number and then wondered if he should tell her about what happened.
“Hello?” Lynn's voice answered the phone.
“Hi Lynn, It's Kail.” He said pretty calmly.
“Kail? Are you ok?! It's been over an hour since school! You had me worried sick!” she yelled into the phone.
“A…hour?” he then looked at the clock. He was surprised to see she was right. Normally he got home around 15 minutes after he began to walk.
“Yes, an hour! You didn't answer me! Are you ok?” she was really worried about him.
“Yea, I'm fine, don't worry about me Lynn!” Kail smiled as he said it.
“I'm gonna worry about you anyway.” She said softly.
“Hey Lynn? Can you meet me at the movies in about a half an hour?”
Lynn paused for a bit before she answered. They'd met at the movies a lot of times before, so she didn't think anything of it.
“Yea, sure.” She answered.
“I'll see you then!” Kail smiled.
“See you.” She answered as they hung up their phones.

(About a half an hour later)

“Hi Kail!” Lynn called as she spotted him in his trench coat.
“Hiya Lynn!” he waved to her as he walked.
“Why are you wearing your trench coat? It's hot as heck out here!”
Kail smiled. “I felt like taking it, that's all.”
“Okay, so why did you want to meet me here?” she tilted her head and her blonde hair fell into her face again.
“I asked you to come here because I need to tell you something…okay, well a few things.” He said as his red hair blew in the wind.
“Yea? Well what are they?” she rocked back and forth on her feet.
“One of the things you won't believe…”
“Try me! Let me guess, it has something to do with what happened at school today, right? I mean you fought like a demon or something!” she smiled at him.
“Whatever this spirit that follows me is, it said I was a mix of angel and demon.” He frowned.
“Seriously?” she looked into his eyes and he nodded.
Suddenly, she hugged him tightly.
“Lynn?” he looked down at her, she was only a few inches shorter than him.
“I don't want anything to happen to you.” She whispered into his chest.
“Lynn, the other thing I wanted to tell you…” he started and she stared up at him.
“Yes?”
“I really like you Lynn…I think I love you.” He searched her eyes for rejection, but found none. She smiled at him.
“I love you too Kail.” She said as she kissed him on the lips.
Slightly taken aback at first Kail just stood there, but soon he smiled and wrapped his arms around her.
“Wanna see a movie?” he smiled and looked into her eyes.
“Sure.” She smiled and took his awaiting arm as they entered the theatre.

A/N Sorry for the short chapter. It's all I can think of right now.
