This was written quite a few years ago now, but I just stumbled across it on my hard drive and I've began to patch it up, it's still not finished but I'm working on it.

"Nadia, ya there."
"Yeah come in." They listened as the door closed behind Fire, then bolting down the rest of their food, they packed up and raced out to the stables where Tomato was eating a meal of roast beef and what looked like the remainder of a half masticated cow. The two boys loaded what little luggage that they had with them onto the griffin and pulled themselves up onto its back.
"Fire, what's wrong?"
"Wha-d-ya mean, what's wron'?"
"You! You look like you've got something on your mind."
"Naa. Do I re'lly look like dat?"
"Yes you do. You almost look like you're trying to hide something from me... You are aren't you! What is it Fire, what are you trying to hide? TELL ME!" Nadia roared the last two words at the nymph. A white hot fury was bubbling and boiling in the pit of her stomach, she knew that Fire was only talking to her to distract her and the fact that he was trying to cover something up made her feel like the only person that she cared about thought that she was stupid. She watched the expression on Fire's friendly face it hadn't changed, his eyebrows were raised and he was smiling slightly as though he thought he knew better than her. The unchanged smirk that he wore on his lips tipped her anger over the edge."
"YOU THINK THAT YOU KNOW BETTER THAN ME, WELL YOU KNOW WHAT I DON'T CARE ANYMORE! YOU HAVE YOUR LITTLE SECRETS FIRE! BUT IF YOU'RE GOING TO KEEP HIDING STUFF FROM ME AND THEN ACTING AS THOUGH I'M TOO STUPID TO FIGURE OUT WHAT YOUR UP TO THEN THERE IS NO WAY THAT WE CAN EVER CARRY ON BEING FRIENDS! SO YOU JUST GO BACK TO YOUR LITTLE SQUALLER AND ACT LIKE EVERY OTHER NYMPH, ARROGANT AND PESSIMISTIC! AND I BET THAT YOU'VE BEING LAUGHING AT ME THIS WHOLE TIME WHEN YOU'VE FIGURED OUT STUFF THAT I HAVEN'T! WHY DON'T YOU JUST GO AWAY!!!!!"
Nadia stopped her rant to draw breath, she noticed that Fire's expression still hadn't changed so in her ragging fury then she opened her mouth to start yelling at him once more only to be cut off before she had even started.
"Nadia! If it won' kill ya ta stop shoutin' for one secon' den you migh' want to note that Trayant Loi is, here, down stairs, right now." Nadia's eyes were wide with surprise and her mouth was slightly ajar. She pulled herself together and raced out of the doorway and down the stairs. She flung her self out of the inn door just in time to see the bulking shape of Tomato's great body thump out of the stable door and out into the square.
"Nadia, ya there."
"Yeah come in."
