Everything is my own, Please be nice as far as criticism goes, however if you do have something about it that you don't like then don't flame, just tell me about it if you would.

This was written quite a few years ago now, but I just stumbled across it on my hard drive and I've began to patch it up, it's still not finished but I'm working on it.

"Fire what did you think you were doing letting me rush out to see Trayant when you knew perfectly well that if I even so much as caught his eye then I could have lost half my power."

"I dun know, bu' nuthin' 'appened so I guess it's all righ' i'n it."

"I won't dignify that with an answer." They were walking quickly across the land, Fire knew that Nadia was desperate to make up the time she reckoned that she lost by stopping in Faut-lon. Once again Fire found himself falling behind as Nadia's pace quickened once more. She kicked off hard from the ground and stood floating in the warm air. Her feet moved very slowly, the altitude wasn't very high in Wallfault so there was no reason for her to kick her legs in order to stay stationary but she had become used to it, so as she floated a little off the ground she found her legs twitching gently up and down as if she was riding a bike or treading water. She stopped when she realised and continued to scour the land for any sign of Trayant and the other boy. "Do you think they could have gone through the mountains?"

"Who?"

"You know perfectly well who I mean."

"Naa I don'." Nadia sighed and rolled her dark, emerald green eyes in slight annoyance.

"Trayant and that other boy." She growled the words out at Fire in sheer frustration.

"Oh! Yeah I do know about dem." Once again Nadia rolled her eyes. "Naa I don' think they would do tha'. Goin' through da mountains is practically suicide. I mean, dey've got t'ings in da mountains dat could easily brin' down a dragon let alone two boys an' a griffin." Nadia's eyes and smile radiated relief and with that she carried on her journey slowing down slightly to allow Fire to keep up. He smiled at her back and followed her quickly as they went on there way.
