HI! This is an original fanfic. This really happened and I give a lot of credit to ~Dark*Princess*Pan~ for typing this up! Of course, I'm writing the details, but whatever. Yes, ~Dark*Princess*Pan~ is my best friend and I miss her a lot… Please R&R!

I sighed once again. "BUT WHY!?!" I asked my mom exasperatedly. "This is so unfair," I heard my sister, Tammy mutter. "Argh…" I stomped all the way to my room with an angry expression on. OF COURSE I WAS ANGRY! Who wouldn't be!?! I mean, I have to move thousands of miles away from my school, my friends, my environment… Life sucks. Oh, I'm going to miss everybody. I buried my head into my pillow and screamed in frustration. `But I don't wanna…' Arguing wouldn't be any good because I'd only end up losing. You don't know my parents. My mom is especially strict. Besides, I'm not in the mood to get yelled at. `Oh well… tomorrow, I'm gonna tell everyone. I wonder how they'll take the news.' Slowly, I got out of my bed and sluggishly got into the bathroom. Getting ready seemed like the hardest job just then. `Grrr… WHY ME!?!' I thought furiously. Once I finished brushing my teeth, I hurriedly got into bed to avoid talking to my parents. That night, I couldn't sleep. Knowing that I had to move in the future just bugged me so much. "Hmph…" was the last thing I mumbled before falling into a deep slumber.

"Claire! Get up!" "Ugh………." I groggily got up, hating the fact that I had woken up from that nice dream. "CLAIRE!" my mom shouted again. "I'M UP!" Once I got to the bathroom, I started preparing myself for another day of… sigh… school. `First person I'm gonna see is……….. Candice with Cassandra,' I thought. While I was getting dressed, I packed my backpack. "Busy… busy… busy…" I said as I grabbed my breakfast in one hand and flew out the door to the car. `A five minute drive to Warm Springs Elementary…'

"Aw man…. Where is she?" After much searching, I found her. My best friend, of course! "Candice!" ……. "CANDICE!!" ………… "CANDICE!!!!!" "Huh?" I heard her say aloud. "Man, you are DEAF!" I teased, hitting her in the arm playfully. "Oh, SHUT UP!" Oh, but she wasn't so nice to me. Ow, that hurt. I rubbed my right arm and watched her smirk. Cassandra was just looking back and forth between us. We were at the bleachers. Suddenly, Gigi, Karen, Alice, and Melissa came into view. "Oh, hi Claire!" Gigi said good-naturedly. She was the really nice girl, one of my friends. She just couldn't say no, but even then, you shouldn't piss her off. "What's up?" Karen asked. Yes, the shorter girl. She had black hair and glasses. Also, she had a small voice. "Uh, well…" "Hm… interesting…" Melissa said absentmindedly. "What?" I saw her reading a manga. Yeah, we love reading all about anime and watching it! Melissa was the smart girl. She also had glasses, very skinny, and usually carries a book with her. Suddenly, the conversation turned into anime or some TV show. I don't really remember. Before I could say anything, though, the bell rang.

"Hey, look!" I heard Candice say. "What?" "Nate and Samuel!" "Where?" "There." "Where?" "There." "WHERE!?!" "THERE!!!" "WHERE!?!" "THERE!!!" "Ohhh…." "ARGH!!!" Ouch….. yeah, that hurt too…. Hehehe… we always do that. She points out where and I ask her. Then, when I get it, she sighs and hits me, obviously annoyed. "Hey, come on!" she said, dragging me all the way to the field where the rest of the group was. "I wish that I didn't have to move…" I abruptly said. "What?" Everybody stopped and looked at me with wide eyes. "Move?" "Yeah…" "Where?" Alice asked. "Taiwan…. I DON'T WANNA!" I shouted, kicking the ground. "For how long?" Gigi questioned, hoping it wasn't more than three months. At least, I think she was hoping that I didn't have to move away for too long. "Six years…" I said softly. "What? I didn't hear," Candice said. "Six years," I said a bit louder. "Daaang…" Karen was shocked all right. Even after I told everyone, Alice still kept asking me about it. Candice bugged the heck outta me, pleading for me to not go. Too bad I didn't have a choice in the matter. "Well, IT'S NOT LIKE I WANNA GO!! My mom said she will buy me a dog if we do go to Taiwan though…I think I'll name it Jesse. Ehehhe" I yelled at her (Jesse is a guy I really, really, really, really, really like). "BUT I DON'T WANT YOU TO GO!" she whined. Sigh, I wonder why I even talk to her. She's impossible. She isn't that bright, but whatever. She's still my best friend. So stubborn… macho girl just like me…. grrr…… that comic…… well, anyway… "Oh, just shut up…" I grumbled. "NO! I DON'T WANT YOU TO GOOOO!! STAY STAY STAY!! SIX YEARS IS TOOOOO LONG!" she kept at it. Then, we started a feud. "NO! STAY! YOU. MUST. STAY!!!" Candice started shaking me for effect. "Gaaah…. Stop it!" I screamed, trying to make her loosen her grasp on my oh so poor arm. Finally, she settled for the whole take my wrist and start shaking it. I gave her a bored expression as I tried to take back my wrist. "LET… GO!!!" I ordered, jerking my body to the side. Aw….. it didn't work… darn…. She's still got my wrist. Thankfully, the bell rang and we quickly ran back to our rooms as to not get in trouble.

It was the last day of school. You know, the signing of yearbooks and stuff. Since I liked Jesse, I asked for his phone number and while I was at it, I said I was moving to Taiwan.

"Daaaaaang. That's half way around the world."

"I know. Your moving to Washington, right?"

"Yeah."

"WHAT!?!" I heard her snap at me on the phone. "Come to the park!" I said. "Whyyy? I've got pizza!" "Well, COME ON ANYWAY!!!" "I CAN'T! MY MOM'S NOT HOME!!" "CANDIIIIIIIIIICE!!!!" I whined. "YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME SOONER!!" "HMPH! JUST COME!!" "ALL RIGHT!! I'LL BE THERE IN……." I heard her pause for a second. Of course she was thinking. "In… twenty minutes!!" Candice said. "Okay…uh-oh… gotta go now! BYE!" "Yeah yeah yeah…bye…" she said. I could almost see her rolling her eyes.

Once I got to the park, I waited with my friends. Watching cars pass by…… and finally, I saw a white one. It parked on the other side of the street and out came Candice, holding a plate??? OOH! Pizza! "HI! Sorry I'm late…" she said sheepishly. She held out the plate for me to pick up a slice. "Yay…" I said, biting into MY pizza. This was my going away party. The day was long and we walked, we ran, we played in the sand… Oh, and we ate. I never knew these Japanese beans tasted so good. Hm… well, after all that, we took a picture together. I tried giving Karen the bunny ears, but she said, "Claire! Nooo…" and pushed my hand away. After the picture, I walked with Candice to my car. "What?" I asked, watching her grin. "I'm so happy…" "Oh… you're happy because you gave Karen bunny ears?" I asked, looking at her as if she were the weirdest person in the universe. Wait, I can't really say that since we both walk twice as fast as a normal human being, we're both macho girls, and we finish each others' sentences…. God, we are so alike. It's like we're twin sisters or something! "Candice, do you have a ride?" I heard my mom ask. She shook her head no, so we brought her home. On the way, I enjoyed my Nerd's Rope. I complained about the taste, but whatever. Hearing my mom chatting away with Candice's mother, I turned over to her. "Can you come over to my house tomorrow?" Claire asked. "OKAY!" Sheesh… so ecstatic…

Ding-dong…….. ding-dong…….. ding-dong……. ding-dong……. ding-dong-ding-dong…. "AH!" I said as I rushed over to the door and let Candice in. "What took you so long!?!" she snapped at me. "Sorry, I was still sleeping," I said. I was asleep and my parents and sister was out. I heard the doorbell but I thought it was my dream. Stupid me. She looked at me as if I were crazy. I know what was going through her mind. `Pink???' was what she thought. Yes, I was wearing a pink spaghetti strap and some shorts. I ushered her over to our TV, and we started playing video games. Once we got bored with Super Smash Bros. Melee, we went outside and she asked me something. "Hey, is the basketball still up there?" she wondered, looking up at the roof. "No, we took it down," I said. Once, we had been playing basketball. I started thinking, how do those boys do THAT? The thing where the boys slam the ball onto the ground and it bounces up into the hoop. I tried it and passed it to her. Carelessly, she bounced it onto the ground, but it hit the end of the cement and ricocheted back onto the roof behind the chimney. We made a long stick and tried getting it down. I even got scratched in the process! Stupid stupid stupid….. We didn't even get it down then! That made us both laugh and we started playing. We threw the ball backwards. Sigh… she did it again…. It went over the fence and out into the street. "CANDICE!" I shouted, hitting her while she started laughing. "So-sorry!" She covered her mouth and followed me out to street to retrieve it, still giggling.

The day flew by real quick and soon, her dad went to pick her up. "Say goodbye," her father said. "Bye!" I heard Candice say, waving a bit. "BYE!!!" I yelled for the last time and closed the door…..
