TEEN TITANS!!

Friend for life, then death

New Comer, the old Acquaintance

CRASH! The waves spilled upon the beach at the base of Titan Tower. Robin was on the roof leaning on the side, thinking about Slade. Shadows hung around the base of the tower, but Robin saw something that didn't belong. He ran to the door and into the tower, heading to the surveillance room.

The rest of the team was sitting in the living room/ kitchen/ hang out room/ everything they did in it room. BB was against Cyborg on the game console, while Starfire was creating another one of her infamous Tamaranian delicacies, while Raven tried to keep the horrid smell from upchucking her lunch. They wondered what had gotten Robin in such a frenzy as he ran past the doorway. "Dude, Robin, Where ya goin'?" Beast Boy exclaimed as he saw Robin. He didn't get an answer so he went back to playing the game.

Raven however put her book down and stood up. "Hey… Hey!… HELLO!!!" She shouted trying to be overheard BB and Cy's triumphant shouts. "Eh?" They said in unison. "I think we should join Robin. As we have company. "We do? Oh glorious day! They can try my Glompspire Hoopa!" (I'll give you one guess as to who said that. ^_^) Starfire exclaimed happily. "Uh…sure… Hey! BB, I'm sure you'll get over the loss." Cy smiled and said as he stood and looked at Beast Boys dumbstruck face. "Wha! You didn't win you big oaf!…. You cheated!"

"I don't think I heard you correctly, did you just call me a cheater?"

"Yeah! Cheater!"

"Oh that's it!" The fight was on until a lamp shattered by the rumble. The twosome froze, still latched onto each other as Raven gave them a death glare. "Oh, right, Sorry raven." They said. Starfire put down the bowl and headed out the door with the other three, to find out about this new guest. Luckily because the concoction she had been stirring blew up, smoking up the entire room. When they got to the surveillance room they found Robin looking at the screen, trying to get a better look at the mysterious comer. It wasn't working very well. "This wouldn't worry as much if their face kept coming into view. But they seem to know where our cameras are positioned and so they keep skirting the view. They obviously don't want to be seen completely." Robin stated matter-of-factly as the team finally joined him. "Great! Now I'll have to reposition the cameras and everything!"

"Cyborg, can't you focus on the present problem,?" Raven said grumpily. "Fine. I'll send out my little spy-cam to search out our guest." Cy stated proudly as he pulled out a small camera. "Wow! Cy got a new toy!" BB said excitedly. "No touchy." Cyborg said haughtily.

He opened the window a tidgent and slipped the cam onto the wall. It rolled down the wall to where the unknown guest was walking. Cyborg tapped a few buttons on his arm and the spy cam dropped to the ground shifted its shape to a non-mechanical looking snail and pointed itself at the walker. "Oh, how cute, a little friend of Cyborg's." A female voice spoke. She looked up, once again averting the camera view.

She waved. The Titans were shocked. Robin linked over the spy cam's speaker. "Who are you?"

"I always thought you guys were much friendlier… as long as you weren't a criminal." She taunted.

"We don't know if you are a friend or a criminal, yet. Or how you managed to skirt our camera's" Robin replied. "Well then, let me introduce myself-" She looked down at the camera and smiled. "My name is…"She whispered to the camera. Robin's masked eyes grew large. O_O

K. Guess you'll have to read and review to find out who this mystery girl is and what she has to do with Robin. Ohhhhh, you'll like it! The next chappy will be better, sorry about this one, but ya know… first chap.'s are not my thing, so if you have any pointers I will read them and then possibly re-do the chapter. No Flames. Good, wholesome, nutritious reviews are much obliged, as they feed the ego!
