Chapter 2 the snatching

Two days went by with absolutely no crime. Robin is busy at the computer terminal early on a Sunday morning everyone else is still sleeping. Rowan walks down to the kitchen and spots Robin at the terminal and walks over and says “no crime in two days on tameran that's a sign of something big.” Robin says, “Yeah it is hey what time is it.” “on this planet 7 am” says Rowan “whoa 7 I've been up all night.” Says robin Rowan says “come on I'll fix ya a energy drink straight from the jieten gumi kitchens.” Robin smiles and says “yeah all right.” Robin leaves the computer and walks over to the kitchen with Rowan. Rowan pulls out an odd looking alien plant and put's it in the blender. Robin says “so you and Star go way back huh?” Rowan nods and says “yeah I've been protecting the family science star turned 9 I was ten so was black fire.” “TEN damn you didn't have much of a child hood.” Said Robin “huh yeah I used to wonder, “What will I do if I fail?” I was supposed to kill my self about 2 years ago I decided if that was to happen I would kill the people who killed my target” Rowan pulled out the cream and added some powder from a pouch on his belt and handed it to robin and said “drink it fast” Robin gulped the glass Rowan laughed at Robin coughing at the potency of the drink. “Yeah it'll do that but you'll feel better in a few seconds.” Said Rowan “*yawn* who'll feel better?” said Star fire as she walked in to the room in a shirt and underwear Rowan smiled and said “is it entirely proper for a tameran princess to walk around in her under wear?” Star said, “Oh I don't think Robin minds do ya Robin?” Robin blushing said in an odd voice “no not at all” “Robin what's wrong with you're voice?” asked Star Fire Rowan said “I just gave him that drink I gave you that one time remember?” Star fire laughs and says “yeah I Remember I ended up naked!” “What?!” said Robin Rowan began to explain, “she was thirteen and I was fourteen and I was showed this recipe for a sugar drink I gave some to Star and we played strip poker and I won” “won what?” said Cyborg as he entered from the north door. “long story” said Rowan. Periodically the rest of the titans came out and sat down to watch TV. Rowan stood up and said “now is as good a time as any I have to say something.” Everyone looked at him mostly because he was blocking the TV “you guys like Linkin Park?” “Yeah why?” inquired beast boy. Rowan said, “Because I just happened to get 6 VIP pass's to there concert tonight!” Everyone snatched rowans held out yellow cards just as he held them out they. Were snatched by everyone. “How did you?” asked Raven Rowan said “I pulled some strings from my old buddy's in the jentien gummi” a few hours pass and the group is at the concert. Star fire and Rowan are in the mash pit. Star fire yells “Rowan this is awesome!” “I'm glad you like it!” said Rowan, Rowan and star fire were separated by the crowd and then Rowan heard Star fire yell “Rowan Help!” Rowan immediately flew up and shot a green energy bolt in to the air. Causing everyone to scatter out the doors The titans assembled in the center and Rowan said “Star fire's missing cy beast boy search for evidence raven Robin with me” Robin Raven and Rowan ran out the door's to the alley well beast boy and Cyborg stayed behind. Rowan split the three of them up. Rowan ran up well Raven took to the sky. Robin went the opposite way when Rowan reached the end of the alley he found a letter held down by Star fire's communicator. The note read “don't bother trying to get a ransom this is not business this is vengeance.” On the back of the note there was a little bit of blood. Rowan ran back to the complex the rest of the titans were gathered Rowan yelled, “We have to move!” Cyborg said, “Were to late I just found this” Cyborg handed Rowan a pair of gloves star fire's gloves. Rowan griped the gloves tightly. “STAR FIRE!” screamed Rowan. Robin tried to comfort him but Rowan already knew what he had to do. “don't touch him” said Raven “he wants to be alone” Rowan looked up at the titans “good bye my friends” said Rowan as he flew straight up in to the air and out of earth's orbit. Rowan arrived at Tameran a few minuets later. Rowan walked to the slums of tameran's capitol city. He walked in to a know contraband dealer's home he grabd the man and said “I need a few pounds of explosive, and a remote deatnator NOW” the man said “Rowan how nice to see you get em boys!” Rowan droped the man as 2 big guys grabed his arms Rowan said “you can all leave here alive if you give me what I want.” The man snickered and nodded for them to kill him “I am no longer jieten gummi” said Rowan as he blasted holes in the stomachs of the men who held him. Rowan charged up anouther bolt and held out his hand so close to the dealrs face that it singed his facal hair. Rowan said “now where's the Shit!” the man pointed to a closet Rowan said “thank you” as he blasted the man's head off. Rowan walked in to the room and saw a woman counting money istantly she grabed a rifle. Rowan shot this woman with a star bolt killing her instantly. Rowan grabed the biggest bag he could find. And filled it with explosives and other espionage items. Rowan then walked outside of the man's house only to be confronted by three guards. “come quietly Rowan!” said one guard Rowan said “leave me now and you shall live.” One guard did an over head swing at Rowan dropped the bag dodged aside grabbed the mans hand disarmed him and turned him in the way of bullets that were shot by the other guards. Then Rowan shot 2 star bolts at the other 2 guards. After the fight Rowan picked up his bag and walked away camily when he was at a safe distance from the house he took out a dagger and said “I now make a blood oath to avenge Star fire” Rowan then slit his hand and turned around shot a star bolt at the house destroying it. He then flew back to earth to titans tower. He walked in the front door “where have you been!” yelled robbin, Rowan said “getting groceries I've got work to do” said Rowan as he walked briskly past Robin. Rowan retreated to the comfort of his room. Where he dumped his bag out all together he had 10 explosive devices 3 tracking units and a radio transmitter. Rowan put all his stuff in a duffel bag and pulled out 10,000 $ then he got dressed in black and walked out of titans tower. Rowan went to an hotel and rented a room for three nights' he threw his duffle bag under a bed and walked toward the club where Star fire was snatched. Rowan walked up to the front door showed the bouncer three hundred dollar bills and the bouncer let him Rowan once in the club walked through a door that read “employees only” the corridor behind the door lead to a security room Rowan walked in to the room and spotted one guard sleeping in a chair Rowan slapped him and said as he powered up a star bolt “give me the surveillance tape's from last night or die” the guard after wetting him self pointed to a DVD on the desk Rowan put the guard in a chair and twisted some metal around him to make sure he wouldn't move Rowan then played the DVD to the time of Star's kid napping luckily Star was right near a camera what Rowan saw amazed him he saw Roy grab her and drag her to the alley. Rowan destroyed the screen with a star bolt then he untwisted the metal around the guard and said “be gone” the guard ran out the door triping over his own 2 feet. Rowan flew stright through the roof went to the hotel room and grabed his bag's then he went straight to tameran Rowan rented a hotel room near the base of the jieten gummi in the room Rowan pulled out some c-4 and a receiver Rowan made a small bomb. Rowan lied down on his bed after hideing the bomb thinking to him self “to have starfire killed my a jieten gummi member must have taken some serous leverage.” RING Rowans communicator went off he held it up it was robin on the other line. “what robin?” asked Rowan “what are you doing? There's a murder linked to you!” Rowan said “I am going where the law can not good bye robin.” Rowan threw his communitor up in to the air and blasted it in to piece's Rowan then sat up and said “let's do this” Rowan grabbed his bag and walked out side it was now dark on tameran it gets dark in a matter of minuets Rowan walked up to the fence parele to the officer's quarter's Rowan used his star bolts to melt a hole in the fence then Rowan walked over to the wall and waited for the spot light to pass after it did. Rowan peaked in the window and luckily Roy was right there Rowan took the bomb out threw it over to a different section of the complex and set it off Roy stumbled to his feet getting his pants on Rowan blasted a hole in the wall Roy turned around and spotted Rowan “what the fuck Rowan!” Rowan punched Roy in the face knocking him out Rowan took Roy back to the hotel room tied him down and splashed water in his face and said “who put the hit on star fire?” Roy said “I don't know what you're talking about” Rowan shot Roy's foot and said “don't play dumb who ordered it? Who's the client?” “oh god I can't tell you or they'll kill me” Rowan shot a bolt at Roy's chest and said “if you don't tell me I'll torturer you then kill you Now who ordered it?” Roy screamed “Her father! Ha good luck trying to get to him he's probly got a price on you're head already” Rowan shot Roy in the head killing him and said “they can't kill me I'm already dead” Rowan grabbed his bag's and left the hotel room. Locking it behind him in the street's Rowan threw the keys down the sewer. Rowan then went to another hotel and rented a room under a false name Rowan went to the room opened the door and threw the bag in. Rowan the counted his money “9,800 $ surprise, surprise.” Rowan went to a black market out let and said to the clerk “I need 10 pound's of plastic explosives and ten detonators and an invisibility generator one that can work under a magnetic field and will hide my body heat.” The clerk said “who pissed off you” Rowan slammed the money on the table and said “bag it or be bagged” The clerk handed Rowan the explosives and detonator's and a small invisibility devise that came as two earring's the clerk explained “just put em in and twist the balls on the end one click clock wise.” Rowan grabbed the earrings and put them in. Rowan then walked back to the hotel room. In the hotel Room Rowan put one pound of explosive to each detonator. And said “this is it Rowan you know what has to be done so let's do it” Rowan waited until it was dark outside and walked to the capitol building where Star Fire's father was suppose to live. When Rowan was at the gates he saw something he did not expect he saw the Teen Titan's. Robbin said “Rowan we just wanna talk ok?” Rowan kept walking and said “the time for walking is over I must avenge Star Fire” “why would you avenge her here?” said Robbin Rowan stopped walking and said “because I have evidence that her Father placed a hit on her!” Robin said “prove it and we will help you” Rowan pulled a tape recorder out of his bag and played it “now who ordered it?” “Her Father!” Rowan stopped the recorder and said “the second voice was a man named Roy of the Jiten Gummi he and I trained together he was seen on a tape I know have kidnapping Star Fire so you're either with me or angst me make you're choice.” Said Rowan as he put the tape away and griped his sword hilt. Robbin said “I'm with you this bastord's gonna pay.” Cyborg said “yeah no one messes with the titan's!” Beast boy said, “let's do it!” even Raven was angry enough to say “I'm gonna rip him apart Rowan what do we do?” Rowan said “come with me to my hotel room we will map out a plan.” The group walked back to Rowan's hotel room in the room Rowan drew a map of the complex. Rowan said “Raven you will cover the main entrance Cyborg the south entrance myself Robbin and Beast boy will charge the middle no one kill's her father but me you guy's don't need to be tried for murder after you are arrested say I chorused you all in to it they'll let you all off.” At first Robbin opposed this Rowan said “I'm condemned anyway don't worry about me when this is over ok Raven and Cyborg when you get the signal from us set off these bomb's block the entrance's.” Rowan handed Cyborg and Raven two bombs and detonator's. the group stood up and Rowan said “speed and power my friend's.” the group used the back alley way's to the capitol building where Raven lifted the group over the fence's and behind a wall. A single guard way patrolling the wall they were hiding at Rowan said “he's mine” Rowan reached out and broke the guard's neck as he passed. Rowan said “to you're positions don't bother trying to knock them out just kill them.” The group went to their position's Raven and Cyborg Reported to Rowan when the bomb's where in place Rowan said, “detonate” two powerful explosions shook the building. Rowan said “Teen titan's attack!” the three of them jumped in to the building threw three-separate windows. Rowan was on the third floor he ran down the hall and a guard spotted him and called out “intruder Rowan's here!” as soon as he was done calling out Rowan cut his chest in half with his sword. Rowan kept running nonchalantly Rowan check all the room's on that floor no one was in them Rowan jumped over the railing down to the second floor's same thing on this floor no one was on this floor not even a guard. Rowan blasted a hole in the floor and jumped on to the first floor. Rowan saw all his team mate's on the floor unconscious but still breathing Rowan looked around for who ever knocked them out and said “no use hiding you're only delaying the enviable.” A man stepped out hooded and cloaked and said “you played right in to my hand's Rowan just like a Jiten gummi punk.” Rowan took up a back stance and said “why did ya do it? Huh? Why did you kill your own daughter!” the man took off his hood it was Star fire's father. He said “my name is jeta naga! And it is because of you! You were suppose to die trying to save her!” “why did you want to kill me!” “because you failed with Black Fire why didn't you protect her!? Where were you when she went to earth?” “I was here getting chewed out by you!” “enough let's do this!” said Jetta as he threw off his cloak and was dressed in black battle armor with a sword at his hip. “you know how to use that old man you seem to be less eager to draw when it come's to your own flesh and blood!” yelled Rowan as he charged at Jetta. Jetta simply snaped his finger's and light's came on behind him he Rowan was blinded and heard Jetta say “my dear boy she's not dead she's right behind me” Rowan looked up and saw Starfire suspended from a wall Rowan yelled “Starfire!” Rowan Ran tword her stepfather and said “you bastord let her go!” Jetta hit Rowan back and said “if you beat me the you can have her back but if you lose you must kill you're self” Rowan said “fine just get her down!” Star Fire fell to the ground and Rowan appeared right beneath her and caught her Rowan said “Hey Kori” Star fire groaned and opened her eye's she said “Rowan where am I?” “Shh I've got some stuff to deal with but just sit on the side line's” Rowan let Star up and she walked over to where the titans where pilled and woke them up. Robbin explained it all to her Rowan said “ok Jetta let's do this” Rowan appeared behind Jetta and shot him with a star bolt Jetta turned and punched Rowan in the face sending him flying Rowan said “that's it!” Rowan took out his sword and sprinted at Jetta Rowan sliced but Jetta blocked it Rowan jumped back and said “nuff said let's stop toyin with eatchouther” “my thought's exactly” said Jetta. Jetta charged Rowan but Rowan saw his attack comeing Rowan disappeared, Jetta stopped in his track's Rowan appeared seconds after, then Jetta's Face was hit with the dull side of a sword. Jetta hit the floor and was knocked unconces Rowan walked over to him and said “game over Jetta” Rowan sheathed his sword and walked away. Little did Rowan know that Jetta got up and was right behind him just before Jetta struck Starfire yelled “ROWAN!” Rowan ducked took out his sword and impaled Jetta in the stomach. Jetta fell to the ground holding his stomach Rowan's sword still in him Rowan leaned down the Jetta's level and said “this is a warning I have held you're life in my hand's twice and twice I have let you live there wont be a third time.” Rowan grabbed his sword and pulled it out of Jetta. Rowan turned to walk away and then flipped over and sliced Jetta's face underneath the right eye. Rowan yelled “don't ever come near earth or Star fire again!” Rowan walked over to Star and said “look's like I'm gonna be expelled form tameran.” Star fire didn't even say anything she merely healed Rowan very tightly. “Mission accomplished” said Rowan as he passed out. Robbin came up to her and said “Star ya know he killed many people in his search for vengeance it's best to let him sleep” Star fire nodded and said “I'll take him home you guy's head back we'll catch up” The group left the capitol building. Robin, Cyborg, Beast boy and Raven went to the ship and took off immediately. Star Fire carried Rowan in to outer space and flew to earth about 200 light year's away from tameran Rowan woke up and said “Star were are we?” “We are on our way to earth Rowan you should sleep now.” Rowan jumped out of Star fire's arm's and said “I don't want to be carried any where” Star fire said “how many people did you kill?” Rowan looked at her with black holes of remorse instead of eyes and he said “ too many”
