Disclaimer: don’t judge me on the names I hate naming stuff and this is what happens in the past and whatever just read and please review this is my first fic okay so be nice.

The Past
Jack Roxington started to tell Crystal of the her past. “It all started sixteen years ago. Your real mother was queen of Saphira. She was a beautiful and a kind person. Her name was Catherine Sky, and your father’s name was Hiro Sky. Everyone that lived in Saphira were happy to have them as their rulers. Relblem was the kingdom that they ruled over. There were only two kingdoms or countries in our world. The other was ruled by the Mustang family and their kingdom was Bulgar. We had many wars with the Bulgar, but when you were born we made a deal with the Mustangs in order to stop the fighting. Everyone in our kingdom lived in peace after the deal was made.
At that time King Hiro and Queen Catherine was having a feast in your honor as well as the prince of the Mustang family. The prince was only a year older than you. The rulers of both kingdoms were there at the feast. Then it happen. Nobody know the name of the one that killed both royal families. Almost all of the Mustang family were killed, and King Hiro was killed by him to. King Hiro managed to stalled time for Queen Catherine, and a royal guard from the Mustang family, and us. It was enough time for all of us to escape. While we were running Queen Catherine also had the Red phoenix sphere around her neck. She ran with you and the prince in her arms. We all ran to the grand hall of the palace.
Catherine tried very hard to protect you two till the end. She asked us to take you away to this planet, Earth. She also told the royal guard to take the prince with him to another planet. Catherine then open two portals with the Red Phoenix Sphere. Your mother then put the Phoenix Sphere in this box and gave it to us. The Queen then gave the guard a device and told him how to use it I think, because we didn’t hear what she said. Queen Catherine then told him to leave and train the prince for the up coming battle. Then the royal guard left trough one of the portals, along with the prince. As soon they went trough the portal closed in a flash.
She then turned to us and said goodbye, but at that moment the wall on the far side collapse and there he was. We couldn’t see his face, it was covered by the darkness. When we heard his voice it was menacing just hearing his voice could cause terror and it would send chills down your neck. Then he whispered something that must have been a spell because the Queen was thrown back to the wall. He told us to give up the Phoenix. Queen Catherine stoop up and pushed us inside the portal. She told us, “Keep Crystal safe until it is time for her to know the truth. Tell her that as my only child I loved her with all my heart, and that she has to be strong for all we know, it’s only the begging…..” The portal had completely closed and we never saw her again.
We manage to get here safely. We don’t know what happen after we left. We raised you and gave you a good life away from Saphira.” When he said that Crystal was in deep thought trying very hard to keep up with what happened in her past. Crystal then asked, “What are we going to do now?” Sarah then said, “Well you already know about your past, all you need to do is to find the prince.”
When all of this was happening a shadow past the window. That mysterious person was listing to all of this. Then the mysterious person turned smirking away from the scene. Then after that guy left there was and explosion. The explosion happen so suddenly that Crystal and the Roxingtons were on the floor unconscious. A few minutes later they regained consciousness. They all wondered what had happen. The place where the blast was hit they heard a voice. There stood two what looked to be a young teen about the age of Crystal and an older man barely in his 20s. They had dark cloaks on with the hoods over their heads and a black insignia on the back of their cloaks.
Crystal could barely tell, but it seemed that they were perhaps siblings. Then the young man said, “Give me the Phoenix now!!” his voice sounded very muscular and forceful. The two of them stood right in front of Jack and Sarah. Sarah then shoved the Phoenix Sphere into Crystal’s hand and told Crystal to use the Phoenix Sphere to escape. Yet Crystal refused but Sarah gave no heed. Sarah walked away and stood right beside her husband. Crystal wanted to stay but she knew she couldn’t. She then grab one of her swords from the wall and strap it on. She held the Phoenix Sphere and put it around her neck then suddenly she yelled to her family, “Wait a minute I don’t even know how to work this thing!”
Jack then yelled, “Just concentrate and get out of here!!” Crystal then Thought, Okay I hope I get this right. Crystal tried to think but she didn’t know what to do. Then she heard her family telling her to hurry up and Crystal could only think of wanting someone to help her. Then all of the sudden a portal appeared right in front of her.
Crystal took a look back and said goodbye and entered the portal and she was gone. All became silent and the young lady said, “If your done we want you to tell us where she went and we want you answer quick.” Jack was about to answer when all the sudden he felt a strong pain in his side. The young man then said, “Oops, my bad did I do that. Well what are we going to do with them.” He look at the girl and she said, “Well, we could kill them or bring them to the Master.
It seems that the man thought that the first choice was better. He then said, “Why don’t we just kill them and get this over with and we could look for the little Phoenix girl later. Anyway the Master just said to kill both of them.”
“Fine, it didn’t look like they know where she went anyways, and I starting to get bored.” At this the girl mumbled a spell and it hit the target dead on. Sarah didn’t know what was happening but she was bleeding and her vision started to get blurry. When Jack saw this he ran to her and held her. He couldn’t believe this was happening to his wife. Sarah knew she was dying fast; she then told her husband that she loved him with tears coming down her face and she died right there in his arms. Jack started to cry out of grief and he lunged at the girl but then was attack by the young man. Jack felled back and the other man unsheathe his sword from his belt and cut the other man’s arm and leg. The younger man then licked the blood from his sword and then he repeatedly slashed at Jack. Jack couldn’t help it but he was bleeding and knew he wasn’t going to last long enough and said, “Before I die here, why don’t you tell me you names.”
“Is that your death wish old man?” the young man said. The girl then pulled her hood and at that the young man did the same and she said, “Fine, since your going to die any ways. My brother right there is Kai and my name is Liann.” Then with out warning Kai sliced the Jack’s head off. Jack didn’t even have time to know what had happen because he was dead. As blood was spilling out of his neck onto the floor Jack’s body just fell down. Kai then said, “Why don’t we got home?” Liann just stared at him and agreed and they left. When they left the same mysterious figure was back and watched them leave. He then lifted a strange device and he vanished.
