The Poem After

 

While I was writing that poem is when I finally broke down,

I went in to my room with sobs wracking my body trying to calm down,

then going in to the bathroom thinking I was done, only to break down again, clinging to the sink like my life depended on it,

as if I were to let go I would crumble and fall into a void not be able to get out.
