My sadness overwhelms me,

For you are not here.

You've been with me for years,

But now you are gone.

You've touched my heart,

And now you leave.

Don't leave me, I need you,

You give me strength.

If you're not here,

I can't live.

I lean on you,

You hold me up,

But now you leave.

I'm falling down,

I can't get up,

Come back and help me.

I need you so much.

But you can't help it, can you?

You're dying, and you can't stop that.

I know this too well.

Others must now give me strength,

But they can't hold me now.

For they need you, too.

Please come back.

Be strong, you can do it.

A/N: I don't like the way this ended. *sighs* My grandfather might die soon, since he's old, has heart problems, and, now, prostate cancer. I'm not close to him, really, but, he's my only grandfather. My grandfather on my mothers side died about a year before I was born. I'm just kinda sad right now.
