Fan Fiction ❯ Poems ❯ Blood ( Chapter 5 )

[ P - Pre-Teen ]

I stare out at the trees

That are swiftly turning colors.

Orange, yellow, brown, and red.

Blood red. The color of wounds.

The color that has plagued me for all my years.

Blood, all around me, flowing swiftly,

From people who have no faces.

The sticky red liquid that comes from me, too.

Blood, a substance not hard to find.

All it takes is a sharp knife

Stabbing into a soft human body.

It gushes out quickly, moving smoothly.

Sliding into crevices in the warm human body,

And staining everything it comes into contact with.

Clothes, sheets, hair, concrete, the list goes on forever.

Blood, covering my life, my soul, my body.

Sickening me, pleasuring me, scarring me.

I've seen much more than any person,

Because I've wielded the knife that brings it out,

And thrust it into the soft skin of people,

And watched it flow, again and again.

So now I sit here, because of all the blood,

In the jail that will hold me for life.

But no blood is shed here,

So I must get out,

And see the blood that I lust for.

A/N: Creepy, yes? I think so.

I wrote this during study hall, after I finished my homework and was really bored.

Woohoo! My first horror poem! Err, I guess I shouldn't be so happy.

Please review! I write more when I'm encouraged. ^__^
