Sat at the top of the stairs,
Hearing my brother being sick,
Hear my other brother be silent,
Hearing my sister saying soft things,
Hearing my mum crying,
Hearing my Dad talking quietly,
Hearing my pen scratch the paper,
Hearing my self sob,
Hearing it all.
