Up on the other part of the dimension.

" Take this you freak" Ashley yelled as she threw her blades at the short one who immediately jumped up in the air and started launching ninja stars at her, Ashley dodged them and she was able to hit him with one of her blade’s ,but that only fazed him as he got back up he started spinning around launching tons of ninja stars at her. Ashley was almost hit by them but was able to throw up a shield in time. Ashley then launched both her blades which had retracted back into the ball at the man they crisscrossed right in front of his face then she pulled them back and they collided with the mans head. She then jumped up in the air and launched eight mini versions of her main weapon out of her knuckles on her gloves and filled them with energy the weapons wove and struck like snakes at the man. He tried dodging them put couldn’t they came at him from all sides, following Ashley’s mental commands. The blade’s tore at the man ripping and shredding him. After his screams died down all that was left of him looked like ram hamburger meat.

“Ewww, guess I should have just blown him up.” Ashley said, disgusted by his appearance.

Lyle was faring pretty well against Neeko, but he had yet to hit him.

Neeko had dodged all of Lyle’s attempts for attacks against him. Finally, Neeko launched one of his own attacks against Lyle.

“Take this Rose Blast” Neeko yelled as energy erupted from his rose. Lyle charged up his spear and tried to deflect the blast but it knocked him backwards with great force. Lyle then went on the defensive, dodging Neeko’s advancing attacks, Lyle launched a great number of energized orbs at Neeko, but since the orbs just stayed in the air and didn’t do anything Neeko simply went around them. Neeko finally managed to get the better of Lyle as Neeko’s rose turned into a staff of thorns. Neeko and Lyle engaged in high speeds bo fighting Lyle being far superior in this form of fighting was fairing far better than his opponent. Neeko however wasn’t going to let this be a fair fight as he summoned energy beneath Lyle and exploded the earth from underneath his feet. Lyle was thrown to the ground as Neeko advanced ready for the final kill.

“Ha Ha, looks like your not as strong as you thought you were. Oh well looks like your friends will have to bury you now.” Neeko gloatingly said.

Lyle only smirked as he charged up an energy attack “Hey Neeko, ever play pool before?”

“What?” Neeko asked. Suddenly Lyle launched an energy attack that missed Neeko but hit one of the many energized orbs that Lyle had set out earlier. And just like an enormous pool table the orbs ricocheted off one another. The orbs were launched off on the original energy attack and aimed right for Neeko.

“Oh no” Neeko said as he tried to raise a shield to protect himself from the attack. The explosion from the attack however decimated his shield leaving him severely wounded. As the smoke cleared Neeko scanned the area with his eyes looking for Lyle, but it was to no avail.

“Hey looking for me.” Lyle said from above him. When Neeko looked up he saw Lyle floating in the air spinning his spear with such force that it created a vortex filled with energy. The vortex nailed Neeko in the chest smashing him into the ground, burying him underneath the earth.

“Heh, there ya go now you don’t even have to dig your own grave.” Lyle said as he ran to find the others.

"Whew I'm going to need a vacation after this " Lyle complained

Sasuka was engaged in a fist fight with Kiff and was getting knocked around pretty badly. One of Kiff’s energized punches nailed him in the stomach cracking some ribs. Before he could recover Kiff used his ultimate attack.

“Rain of a Thousand Deaths” Kiff yelled as his fist glowed with power and he started punching with such speed and accuracy that all you saw was a blur. Sasuka shook violently as he being pummeled by the punches. There was however a brief halt in the attack, that was when Sasuka made his move. Kiff had charged up for his final attack but when his arm rushed forward to strike all it hit was an energized card which erupted on impact. The explosion knocked Kiff backwards, right into the waiting form of Sasuka.

“It’s been fun really, but now I have to end this game. Lights out for you.” Sasuka said as he launched several energized cards which impaled Kiff in the chest making the form of a Hexagon.

“Now its over. Hexagon Blast!” yelled Sasuka as he lowered his arm. With that motion all the cards on Kiff exploded leaving nothing but vapors of Kiff.

“Heh, bye bye Kiffy boy.” Sasuka said as he hurried to help his friends.

" Whoa, I think its past time to trim your nails" Jamie said as she dodged Kitsuka claws.

" Well you definitely aren't the cats meow"Kitsuka said as she lashed out with her iron claws. Jamie was barely able to dodge that attack as Kitsuka followed up with numerous other attacks. Each one seemed to increase in speed. Kitsuka caught Jamie across the shoulder with one of her attacks, which sent pain coursing through all of Jamie’s body. Kitsuka back flipped and launched energy blades from her claws aimed right at Jamie. Jamie deflected the attack with her own energy attack, but when the smoke from the explosion cleared Kitsuka was standing behind Jamie.

“You’ve been a bad girl, I think it’s time to put you down.” Kitsuka said as she struck for Jamie. Jamie smiled coyly as she flipped over Kitsuka landing behind her with extreme grace.

“Funny, that’s what I was about to say about you.” Jamie said as she launched an energy filled arrow aimed for Kitsuka’s heart. Kitsuka turned around quickly and sliced the arrow in half, but was then thrown back and pierced to wall by an arrow that was stuck in her heart. Jamie had shot off two arrow’s one in behind the other.

" I did it. Wow, that was actually pretty fun." Jamie said in gasps of breaths " I wonder how Shadow is doing "

Shadow in question was dueling Kokana and was beating him up pretty bad.

" You’re a whole lot stronger than you look who are you" Kokana asked as he wiped the blood from his mouth.

" Wouldn't you like to know" Shadow said. He then launched both of his weapons at Kokana, his blades hit Kokana hard in the chest.

" You arrogant brat I am the chief of the dark lords army do you think I will be beaten by the likes of you, here TAKE THIS" he yelled and launched both his blades at Shadow who easily stopped them with a blast of energy.

"You-you stopped it but..." He said weakly"Oh I see"
Shadow then came up and finished him with a blast of energy.

" You weren't even worth my time" Shadow said disgustingly

" Hey where's Alex we've got to go and find him" Ashley yelled

" Huh..Oh yeah lets go. I almost forgot all about him hurry you guys" Jamie said quickly

In the lower part of the dimension..

" When are these things going to stop coming!!" Alex said aloud as he fought the stalkers. He'd been blasting them for what seemed like hours. A stalker came up behind him and tried to grab him but he jumped up and blasted it.

"Hey I know I'll try the sword, heck if anything else it'll save my energy" he said to himself,*Now all I have to do is concentrate and then...yes*. Suddenly the Sword of Heaven appeared in his hand.

" Now it's time to kick some butt" Alex said as he sliced one in half. Sure enough things did get better in fact it seemed like the things weren't coming back now.

*Whew finally some good luck*Alex thought.

" Huh what’s that" Alex said as the stalkers disappeared and a strange symbol appeared on the ground below him. It was glowing a resonating power. The symbol of a hexagram was engraved into it, along with other symbols that Alex did not know. Suddenly a dark clothed figure appeared before him.

“Am I correct in guessing that this is the portal to the Demon world.” Alex said.

“Not quite, this is the seal for the portal. One which I shall have to break in order to open up the portal, but first I shall break you.” Death said venomously. His eyes glowed a bright red.

" Ready to Die hero! " he yelled and launched energy blast at Alex.

"Not quite, I still have unfinished business to attend to. First is to pound your gloating face into ground " Alex yelled as he dodged the attack and came up and punched him in the face.

" Ha that the best you got here try this" He yelled and launched a powerful attack at Alex , who blocked it and came up with an attack of his own , but Death dodged it with ease. No matter what Alex did Death was always one step ahead of him. Alex ducked one of Death’s punches and stuck at him with an upwards kick, but Death caught Alex’s foot and threw him across the room. They then began a fierce fist fight which lasted for a long time neither one landing a blow on the other opponent. Until finally Death and Alex collided fists which sent a shockwave throughout the dimension. Death quickly with his other hand blasted Alex back and began to laugh.

" Ha ha ha no more kid gloves now you'll deal with my true power!" He said as he began to change he then grew a little bigger and he grew what looked like bat wings, his energy increased greatly and his skin became hard and black .

" Whaaat’s going on here" Alex yelled

" This is my true power now you will fall before me " He said, and with that launched an energy blast that knocked Alex clear to the other side of the room. Just then everybody got there.

" Huh, oh no Alex." Ashley yelled.

" It's Death he's ascended to his next level. Quickly everybody do your ultimate blast we've got to help Alex" Jamie said. Everybody then became quiet a they charged up and launched there energy attacks at the beast. Lyle twirled his spear and sent out a vortex of energy, Sasuka folded his hand and shot a powerful blast which merged with Lyle’s attack, Jamie focused all her energy into three arrows and fired them, Ashley launched out both her main weapons filled full of energy which twirled around each other to great a giant energy ball. All four attacks hit the beast at once which severely hurt him. He then charged his fist and sent out a blast a them which knocked every one back with great force. Then Shadow popped out and launched both his energized blades at the beast which went right through him. The beast turned around and shot a blast out at Shadow which vaporized him.

" What did you do to them I won't let you hurt anyone any longer" Alex yelled. His eyes glowed with energy as he erupted and started hitting the beast with blast after blast, punch after punch. Within a matter of second the beast was on the ground.

" And now Death dies" he said with no emotion and blasted him with energy. Just when everyone was getting up they heard a clapping sound.

Clap. Clap. Clap.

“ Bravo hero you have beaten the beast but now can you beat the master" Suddenly Shadow appeared.

"Huh Shadow I thought you were dead " Alex said bewildered.

" Hah that beast wouldn't kill its' master in fact it's only purpose was to drain your energy same as with all the stalkers, because now you’re the only one with energy and that isn't enough to stop me." Shadow replied.

" So I was right all along. Your Death. I shouldn’t have listened to her. Okay Shadow, you hurt my friends now you’ll pay" Alex said. Shadow came up fast and kneed Alex in the gut then hit him to the ground. He then jumped up and shot him with an energy blast. Alex then got up wearily.

" Alex watch out" Jamie yelled. Then a blast of energy nailed him in the back.

" You know that girl's going to be the death of you I mean , I had them all fooled but not you, you were able to see through my charade. You could sense that I was Death you even tried to tell Jamie but she didn't listen she continually put here faith in me and that was their downfall and now I'll kill her" Shadow said and charged up for an attack.

" N-no I won't let you hurt her" Alex yelled weakly. Just as the blast was about to hit a shield protected her.

" Huh what is this" Shadow said

" I've put a shield around the whole area so the only one's that'll get hurt are us, oh and Jamie,"

" Huh yes, Alex" Jamie said

"In case anything happens to me I wanted to tell you this. I made vow that I would never care for anything ever again because I didn't think I could handle it if the thing I cared about were to die... you made me break that vow because I care about you and no matter what I'm not going to let this guy hurt you or anyone else" as Alex said that he Shadow yelled and ran up and punched him in the jaw.

" He does love her doesn't he" Ashley said quietly

" Huh" Sasuka said

" He does care about Jamie doesn't he" Ashley said

" Yeah he does but he didn't create this shield just for her so let's give him some encouragement he's fighting the hardest fight he’s probably ever had to fight so lets give him are remaining energy okay guys" Sasuka said to everyone

" Yeah let’s do it."

With that everyone closed their eyes as they began channeling their energy to the person that needed it the most.

“That’s all very sweet, but can you stand the strain of keeping up two shields? Remember, I can still have my demons exit this portal and attack the humans if I want them to.”

“Y-you bastard” Alex said as he launched himself at Shadow.

Alex and Shadow kept on battling. Then Shadow raised up his hand and said"It's time to finish this" as the Sword of Death appeared in his hand and he attacked. His blade sliced across Alex’s chest but was halted when Alex summoned his own sword the Sword of Heaven and began what is believed to be the greatest battle of all time. They fought furiously. They moved at incredible speeds. All anyone could see was the after images of where they were. It was as if they were ghosts. Alex and Shadow relentlessly went at it. Neither one giving the other a moment’s rest. For at this crucial juncture if either one gained the upper hand it would spell doom for the other.

“Wow...I can’t even see them moving”Jamie said.

“Yeah...they really are on a completely different level than us”Sasuka said in awe.

“Alex you beat that meanie”Ashley said with tears in her eyes.


The battle was a complete standstill until Shadow stopped and said" You'll never beat me and when I kill you, your barrier will fall and I will destroy all your friends.” At that Alex became enraged and suddenly became full of power and angel wings appeared out of his back and yelled at Shadow " Your wrong I will defeat you and I will save my friends."

"Alex... he became his full form" Jamie said in awe.

Alex then started to gain the advantage in the fight. Shadow tried to lunge at Alex with his sword, but Alex predicted his attack and parred it. Alex then twisted around and sliced Shadow across the chest. Before Shadow could recover Alex blasted him back with an energy blast. Shadow wearily rested on one knee while trying to recoup his energy and strength. Alex noticed that his wounds were no longer healing as quickly, which was a good sign that the end was near.

“H-how can you be this strong there’s no way” Shadow said in amazement and in fear, for he saw his own death in the eyes of the Archangel.

Alex then charged up for an ultimate attack and said " This energy that is not from anger or hate but from love and care. This energy is from my friends and that is how I will be able to defeat you. It is my love of them that gives me more that enough power to defeat you. You will never hurt anybody again and the world will now be safe because you are now beaten ARCHANGEL'S TRINITY BLAST". As Alex said this he released a tremendous amount of energy that soared towards Shadow and vaporized him in an instant. Alex then returned to normal and let down his barrier..

" Alex my man you did it" Sasuka said grinning

" Way to go Alex " Lyle said

" You’re the greatest" Ashley said with joy and then to Jamie she said.

“Thanks” Alex mumbled weakly “I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I didn’t kill him, Shadow...Death, is still alive.”

“What, b-but how could anyone survive that!” Lyle inquired.

“I’m not sure, but I can still sense his energy. It’s faint, but it’s there.”

“Great, I guess its not over, in fact this was probably only the beginning.” Sasuka said.

“True, but at least we won the first battle, which I might add was a crucial blow to him. Cause now he has no teammates, no demons hordes, and he just got his butt handed to him.” Ashley exclaimed with excitement.

“And Jamie, he’s all yours.” Ashley said rather quietly giving Jamie a playful shove towards Alex, who by the way was barely standing at this point.

" Thank you I mean it. You are my hero" Jamie said and ,"Now lets go home and rest up our hero over here needs to be bandaged up so lets get a move on" She said and then smiled at Alex who smiled back thinking.*It was worth all the pain just to see that smile*

" Well its good to be home" Alex said after he got out of the hospital a week later.

" Hey, hey looking good. Oh! Jamie wants to see you in the back room" Lyle said" And dinner will be ready in five minutes so hurry up"

" Hey Alex glad to see your back home. It’s been pretty dull without demons attacking twenty four seven. It’s nice to have you back." Ashley said as she gave him a quick hug.

"Yeah thanks Ashley. Trust me I’m glad to be back." he replied

“Oh yeah, look who’s been staying here while you’ve been gone” Ashley said quickly as she raised a familiar cute fluff ball towards Alex’s face.

“Heh, the little kitten. I wondered what would happen to him. I’m glad you guys kept him. Awww, he soo cute.” Alex said his soft side for animals shining through as he held the kitten and gently petted it.

“What’s his name.”

“We decided to call him Sunny.” Ashley said brightly as Alex handed the kitten back to her. The kitten immediately took a liking to Alex and jumped down from Ashley’s arms and rubbed against Alex’s pant legs.

“Maybe it knows that it’s alive because of you.” Ashley said smiling.

“Heh, maybe, who knows stranger things have happened.” Alex said as the kitten ran off, jumped onto the couch and rolled up into an enormous ball of fluff. Alex then walked back towards Jamie’s room.

" Hey Jamie you wanted to see me" Alex said to her

" Yeah" she said " I wanted to know if you wanted to go to a movie tonight they got some great one's playing"

"Okay sure but how about dinner and a movie I just got out of the hospital and I'm sick of hospital food, yuuggh" Alex said and made a funny face

"Hahahah but I thought Lyle was cooking tonight" Jamie said laughing

"Oy...uh Jamie no offense to Lyle's culinary skills but his cooking worse than hospital food " Alex said.

"Hahahahah so true okay but we'll have to sneak out" Jamie said

" Okay hold on hey Sasuka come here for a sec" Alex yelled

" Hey man how ya doin" Sasuka said

" Fine, fine listen me and Jamie are going out to dinner would you mind covering for us "Alex asked.

"Hey no problem. I owe you one anyway okay you kids have fun" He said

" We will “ Alex said as they snuck out the backdoor laughing.

Somewhere on a distant building.

"Hmmm he is strong that one, he was able to defeat Death .But he is no match for me and soon he will know the true meaning of FEAR!!”


Hmmmm I wonder who said that is it a new villain that are heros must face if so what new dangers lie ahead for them oh well guess you’ll have to find out next time in PROPHECY.
