" Hurry we’ve got to get to get to her quickly" Sara said as she grasped her staff even tighter.
" Lets go everybody" Alex yelled as they ran.
suddenly at the doors to the castle two figures appeared at the doors. One of them had long arms with razor sharp claws on his hands the other was bigger than the first and had fangs, claws, talons, and a spiked tail!
" We are the guards of the castle, you must defeat us if you wish to face our mistress." the small one said with razor sharp teeth!
" Come on then I wanted a chance to test out my new powers" Alex shouted as the two demons leapt up into the air. Suddenly the bigger one separated into two, then four, then eight, then so on and so on until there was an entire army of him!
" Uh oh I think we are in trouble now" Sara said getting her staff ready for battle. “ These demon’s are my sister’s personal guards. They are very strong, so be careful.”
" Ha ha ha ha now you’ll DIE!!!!" yelled one of the clones as it attacked Sasuka who in defense put up a wind shield which sliced the demon into bits!
" Huh, hey I think I'm beginning to like this element stuff" Sasuka said as he launched wind tunnels at enemies and threw cards at others. He back flipped quickly to avoid being caught by a clawed hand which grazed past his head. Before Sasuka could land another demon was under him ready to strike. Sasuka quickly launched a few blades of wind at the demon under him slashing him to ribbons. When Sasuka landed he launched several energized cards at the demon’s in front of him decimating them with fiery explosions.
Jamie was destroying the clones with spikes made from earth hitting them from under ground. She then made mincemeat out of a demon that tried to sneak up behind her with a quick lash of her whip. A large group of demons surrounded her trying to block off any chance of escape. Suddenly they all lunged at once but all they hit was air. Jamie had summoned the earth from under her into a platform and was hovering on it a few feet above the demon’s heads. She then created a cage made out of earth to surround the demons. Suddenly from the walls spikes appeared and the walls began to close. Finally, with a loud snap the walls of the cage closed together killing all the demons inside.
Lyle was quickly dodging in and out of enemy attacks slicing and dicing anything that got in his way. He quickly turned around to avoid being impaled by a demon’s sharp claws. Lyle sliced the demon in half with a quick motion only to have ten more take its place. Without a second thought Lyle vaporized the demons before him with a huge lightning bolt.
Sara was simply toying with these demons as she created walls of ice to block their attacks and kept the ground around her covered with ice so they couldn’t keep their balance. When they would fall on the ground a sharp spike of ice would come forth from under them killing them instantly. A few however, managed to break thru and get within striking distance of Sara. Sara decimated one demon with a quick slash of her staff. She then vaporized two more with an energy attack. The final demon tried to strike her from behind, but when he lunged at her all he hit was a wall of ice. The demon was immediately dispatched by a frozen spike through the chest.
" Ugghh this is no use they keep coming back" Sara cried as she blasted one with energy.
" Yeah I know not to mention gruesome battling Alex over there" Sasuka said as he unleashed a small gale on a number of enemies!
Alex was battling the monster fiercely as the monster unleashed long arms to attack him. Alex the launched fire balls at his enemy who had jumped up to attack Jamie.
" You know you are really starting to annoy me"Alex said as one of the demons claws struck him in the chest.
"Aaaaaaaahhhh" Alex yelled in pain as the demon stabbed his other hand into Alex’s chest.
" Alex" both Jamie and Sara cried in union.
" D-don’t worry girls it’ll take more than this demon has to defeat me!" Alex said thru gritted teeth as he launched a huge energy ball swirling with fire at the demon!
"Ha do you really think that can stop me" He said as the energy ball hit him with great force"owwww that actually hurt me I’ll get you for that one!" As soon as he said that Alex jumped up into the air energized his sword and encased it in fire, he then came down with terrifying force upon the demon!
" Too bad you wont have the chance. Take this you filthy demon!" Alex cried as he sliced the demon in half!
"Wow way to go man lets teach these demons a lesson they wont soon forget!"Sasuka said as he sent a hurricane of energized cards at the hordes of dopple gangers of the original demon! Lyle unleashed a wave of electricity at them, Sara sent out a huge water javelin, and Jamie hurled massive boulders to crumble there ranks!
" Okay now that he is unprotected lets go!" Sara said triumphantly as Sasuka, Alex, and Lyle unleashed an electrical fire hurricane right upon the creature! The creature vanished beneath the torrent of elements.
" That’ll teach him not to mess with us" Lyle yelled.
“Don’t be so sure of that.” a voice said.
“What the...oh you’ve got to be kidding me!” Lyle exclaimed as the demon that could multiply appeared from behind a cloaking shield. He quickly created more dopplegangers of himself to assault the already battered hero’s.
“Screw it, everyone into the air now. I’m going to end this quickly.” Lyle said as he punched the ground with his fist.
Alex, Jamie, Sara, and Sasuka all quickly launched themselves into the air knowing full well what was about to happen. Lyle charged an enormous amount of electricity through the ground. All the dopplegangers and the original demon were all instantly vaporized, unfortunately the amount of energy it took to generate the enormous amount of energy greatly weakened Lyle.
“Whew, nice going Lyle. Now we can fight who’s really behind all this.” Sara announced.
" Ha ha ha ha ha that was but a mere challenge now you’ll have to defeat me" a ghastly voice called out. Suddenly a woman with bright green hair and a light blue ethereal flowing dress. Directly behind her a familiar figure loomed behind her.
" Huh is that...,but it couldn’t be" Jamie said sounding confused." Ashley!"
" Huh who is that, what’s wrong with Ashley?" Sasuka asked sounding worried about Ashley.
" That’s my sister the Siren her voice must have taken control of Ashley, Ashley is now a slave to my sister! Sister, have you also sold yourself to Death!" Sara said almost crying.
“Dear, dear sister. How young, how foolish. You saw how strong Death is! No one can defeat him, better to side with him than to stand against him.” the Siren said.
“Sister, these people were able to defeat our brother. They have also stopped Death before and I believe they can do so again. Please just trust them.”
“Sara you are a fool. If you side with them you will die. They are weak, just like this girl. It would be so easy for me to take control of them.”
" You fiend leave Ashley alone!" Jamie said almost pleadingly.
"Ha ha ha oh no she is mine now and she will be the death of you, Ashley attack them NOW!!" the Siren cried as she ordered Ashley to attack her friends. Ashley complied by sending out fierce energy blast at everybody who dodged out of the way not wanting to hurt there friend. Ashley then started attacking Lyle.
" Hey Ashley look this isn’t the real you, you don’t want to hurt me and I wont hurt you" Lyle said to his friend.
" Oh but I do like to hurt people and I WON’T STOP!" Ashley said as she launched a series of quick attacks with her daggers at Lyle, who was easily able to block the attacks with his sword as he tried talking common sense into her.
“Ashley look come on. You can’t do this. This isn’t you.” Lyle argued.
“Lyle get over that’s not Ashley you can’t reason with her.” Alex yelled. At this point Sasuka jumped in to help Lyle. Sasuka blocked some of her attacks with light energy attacks to deflect hers. Sasuka also tried reasoning with her but to no avail. Ashley quickly launched an enormous energy attack at Sasuka who shielded himself from the attack but his shield was broken and sent him flying. Sasuka quickly flipped to his feet and stood dazed at what had just happened.
Ashley then continued her assault on Lyle. Ashley jumped up into the air and came crashing down on Lyle’s sword. Lyle easily pushed her off of him giving him a quick breather. Unfortunately before he could get his breather Ashley, without looking launched another enormous energy attack but this time it was aimed for Sara and Jamie. Lyle was expecting the girls to block the attack with ease until he heard them scream.
“Help! We can’t move!” Jamie yelled. It was then that he realized that for some reason the girls were standing there frozen. Sasuka quickly ran towards the girls but Alex managed to reach them a second before hand and managed to deflect the attack. For some reason Alex was blown backwards by another attack. Ashley had launched two attacks simultaneously one hidden behind the other. Ashley then quickly launched her dagger at the stunned form of Alex. The dagger was energized with enough power do some major damage. Without thinking Lyle acted on impulse. He jumped towards Alex with lightning fast speed.
"AAgggggggggggghh" Lyle screamed as the dagger ripped through his chest! The dagger began to glow as Ashley mentally filled it full of energy. She then appeared right next to Lyle and stabbed her other dagger into his chest, as the dagger began to glow Ashley back flipped away from him. Suddenly both daggers erupted in a burst of energy.
"Noooooo Lyle" Sasuka yelled as he was snapped out of his dazed state as he watched buddy disappeared thru the flames.
“LYLE!” Alex yelled his eyes wide open from shock at what had happened.
“Lyle!” Jamie yelled as it seemed that whatever had caused her and Sara to be paralyzed had worn off.
" You will be the next to die" Ashley said with little emotion to Sasuka. Her daggers flew from the explosion back to her hands.
" L-look Ashley I won’t fight you!" Sasuka said as Ashley launched blast after blast at him, he took all of them without blocking."Aaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh"
" Hehehehehe now you’ll die" Ashley said but with just a slight twitch of emotion as if she didn’t want to do it.
"Look Sara is there any way to break the spell your sister put on Ashley" Alex said looking at his friend.
" T-there is only two ways she must either break it herself or she must die" Sara said thru tears.
" N-no I wont let her die" Sasuka said as he looked at Ashley" I love you Ashley" Just then a huge ball of energy hit him and he flew back unconscious but alive, then a scream pierced the air.
"Noooooooooooo what have I done" Ashley ,the real Ashley ,said thru tears " I’ve hurt the person I care for the most" she then turned to the Siren" You will pay for what you have made me done"
“No I can’t believe you were able to break my spell so easily. Now I have to kill you.” The Siren said in a soft tune. Ashley was furious with rage, and even though her friends desperately wanted to help her they knew that this was her fight.
In a blur of motion Ashley disappeared and reappeared behind the Siren. Ashley began launching a barrage of energy attacks at the Siren, who seemed to simply phase thru the energy attacks. No matter what Ashley did none of her attacks landed on the Siren.
“Please did you really think I would give you weapons that you could use against me.” The siren announced referencing to the daggers which she had obviously given to Ashley.
“Ashley you won’t be able to hit her. It’s all an illusion. This is her Dance of the Wind attack. Even though it looks like you should be hitting her all you hit is air. That’s because she’s not there.” Sara cried out.
“I’ll remember that dear sister.” the Siren said. With a quick flick of her wrist sonic blades fly towards Ashley. Ashley created a shield but it was easily shattered and the blades rip at her body and clothes. Moving despite the pain towards the Siren Ashley realizes what she must do to hit her.
“Persistent little girl aren’t you.” the Siren said. This time she launches powerful shockwaves at Ashley who this time was ready. Ashley energized her weapons with all her remaining power and unleashes a devastating attack.
“Death From Above” Ashley yelled as she launched herself into the air She then launched her two energized daggers to the right of the Siren following in the trail of the two daggers was an enormous energy ball. In mid air the two daggers stopped dead as if striking something. Suddenly the shimmering figure of the Siren could be seen with the two daggers impaling her in the chest. Before she could react the energy blast nailed her in the chest also erupting her into a large burst of flames. After the smoked cleared a glowing clear orb infused itself with Ashley, who then ran towards the fallen form of Sasuka.
" Hey are you ok" she asked.
"Y-yeah I’ll live" Sasuka said wearily then fell back asleep.
" Ashley this is Sara" Alex said.
" Hi...I’m sorry about what my sister did to you but I’m glad you were able to figure out her Dance of the Wind attack. But are you ok?" Sara asked
" Yeah I’m fine I just feel a little weird that’s all" Ashley replied
" Oh well that is because you obtained the voice of the Siren" Sara said happily.
"Huh"
"You can now generate massive sound waves , the element of sound."
"Oooooooh ok" Ashley said still confused.
“Ashley how were you able to target the siren?” Jamie asked.
“At first I had no idea where she was until she launched her first attack. That’s when I noticed that it wasn’t coming from the place where the she was supposed to be standing. So I waited for her to launch another attack and the last time I was able to pin point her location.”
"Hey guys, I feel funny” Alex said as he held his hand on the wounded Sasuka’s shoulder.
“Huh what is it?” Ashley asked.
Suddenly Alex’s hand began to glow and the wounds on Sasuka healed up. Sasuka then sat up as if nothing was wrong.
“Whoa, what just happened? I mean I feel great. Alex what did you do?” Sasuka asked.
“I-I’m not sure exactly” Alex stammered.
“Ah, it seems that obtaining the power over fire awakened a latent element you controlled.” Sara said.
“But I already have the power over light, then fire, do I now posses the power to heal?”
“Looks that way to me, why don’t you try it out.” Jamie said quickly pointing to the numerous cuts all over Alex’s body. Alex smirked as he placed his hand over his chest as he himself began to glow. All the cuts and wounds he had received instantly healed.
“Awesome, everyone come here” Alex said as he used his new found power to heal his teammates.
“I wonder, do you think I can bring Lyle back.” Alex asked hopefully, even though a small part of him already knew the answer.
“I’m not sure you can give it a try, but don’t get your hopes up.” Sara said, the look in her eyes told him everything he needed to know.
Alex moved over to the spot where Lyle had been slain. He raised his hands forward trying everything he could imagine to bring Lyle back. But nothing happened.
“I guess I really let him down” Alex said his head downcast.
“No you didn’t Lyle can’t blame you, he died trying to save us. Don’t blame yourself for not being able to bring him back.” Jamie said.
“If anything it’s my fault he’s dead.” Ashley said quietly as the tears began to roll down her cheek. Sasuka calmly comforted her in his arms.
“Hey you guys had better go before the portal closes. I’ll catch up to you guys in a sec.” Alex stated as everyone including Sara walked away, each one carrying with them the memories of the battle that had just occured.
“ Lyle...” Alex said thru tears “we’ll miss you buddy. I’m sorry I wasn’t strong enough to bring you back. If only I’d been able to stop Ashley before...I’m just so sorry. Farewell” he said mournfully as he then walked off.
But on a rooftop not to far away the lightning flashed and two figures were standing watching.
“ Farewell indeed to all of you Alex I hope you are prepared for what’s next. Everything leading up to this point has been a test of your skills to make you stronger. Now the pieces are in place, and you will now face your own Armageddon!! Ha ha ha ha”
Wow is all I can say. I mean the team lost a crucial friend and gained a new ally, but who were those two figures on the roof top and what is going to happen with Lyle gone if they have to fight again... Well find out next time in PROPHECY!

“Please did you really think I would give you weapons that you could use against me.” The siren announced referencing to the daggers which she had obviously given to Ashley.
“Ashley you won’t be able to hit her. It’s all an illusion. This is her Dance of the Wind attack. Even though it looks like you should be hitting her all you hit is air. That’s because she’s not there.” Sara cried out.
“I’ll remember that dear sister.” the Siren said. With a quick flick of her wrist sonic blades fly towards Ashley. Ashley created a shield but it was easily shattered and the blades rip at her body and clothes. Moving despite the pain towards the Siren Ashley realizes what she must do to hit her.
“Persistent little girl aren’t you.” the Siren said. This time she launches powerful shockwaves at Ashley who this time was ready. Ashley energized her weapons with all her remaining power and unleashes a devastating attack.
“Death From Above” Ashley yelled as she launched herself into the air She then launched her two energized daggers to the right of the Siren following in the trail of the two daggers was an enormous energy ball. In mid air the two daggers stopped dead as if striking something. Suddenly the shimmering figure of the Siren could be seen with the two daggers impaling her in the chest. Before she could react the energy blast nailed her in the chest also erupting her into a large burst of flames. After the smoked cleared a glowing clear orb infused itself with Ashley, who then ran towards the fallen form of Sasuka.
" Hey are you ok" she asked.
"Y-yeah I’ll live" Sasuka said wearily then fell back asleep.
" Ashley this is Sara" Alex said.
" Hi...I’m sorry about what my sister did to you but I’m glad you were able to figure out her Dance of the Wind attack. But are you ok?" Sara asked
" Yeah I’m fine I just feel a little weird that’s all" Ashley replied
" Oh well that is because you obtained the voice of the Siren" Sara said happily.
"Huh"
"You can now generate massive sound waves , the element of sound."
"Oooooooh ok" Ashley said still confused.
“Ashley how were you able to target the siren?” Jamie asked.
“At first I had no idea where she was until she launched her first attack. That’s when I noticed that it wasn’t coming from the place where the she was supposed to be standing. So I waited for her to launch another attack and the last time I was able to pin point her location.”
"Hey guys, I feel funny” Alex said as he held his hand on the wounded Sasuka’s shoulder.
“Huh what is it?” Ashley asked.
Suddenly Alex’s hand began to glow and the wounds on Sasuka healed up. Sasuka then sat up as if nothing was wrong.
“Whoa, what just happened? I mean I feel great. Alex what did you do?” Sasuka asked.
“I-I’m not sure exactly” Alex stammered.
“Ah, it seems that obtaining the power over fire awakened a latent element you controlled.” Sara said.
“But I already have the power over light, then fire, do I now posses the power to heal?”
“Looks that way to me, why don’t you try it out.” Jamie said quickly pointing to the numerous cuts all over Alex’s body. Alex smirked as he placed his hand over his chest as he himself began to glow. All the cuts and wounds he had received instantly healed.
“Awesome, everyone come here” Alex said as he used his new found power to heal his teammates.
“I wonder, do you think I can bring Lyle back.” Alex asked hopefully, even though a small part of him already knew the answer.
“I’m not sure you can give it a try, but don’t get your hopes up.” Sara said, the look in her eyes told him everything he needed to know.
Alex moved over to the spot where Lyle had been slain. He raised his hands forward trying everything he could imagine to bring Lyle back. But nothing happened.
“I guess I really let him down” Alex said his head downcast.
“No you didn’t Lyle can’t blame you, he died trying to save us. Don’t blame yourself for not being able to bring him back.” Jamie said.
“If anything it’s my fault he’s dead.” Ashley said quietly as the tears began to roll down her cheek. Sasuka calmly comforted her in his arms.
“Hey you guys had better go before the portal closes. I’ll catch up to you guys in a sec.” Alex stated as everyone including Sara walked away, each one carrying with them the memories of the battle that had just occured.
“ Lyle...” Alex said thru tears “we’ll miss you buddy. I’m sorry I wasn’t strong enough to bring you back. If only I’d been able to stop Ashley before...I’m just so sorry. Farewell” he said mournfully as he then walked off.
But on a rooftop not to far away the lightning flashed and two figures were standing watching.
“ Farewell indeed to all of you Alex I hope you are prepared for what’s next. Everything leading up to this point has been a test of your skills to make you stronger. Now the pieces are in place, and you will now face your own Armageddon!! Ha ha ha ha”
Wow is all I can say. I mean the team lost a crucial friend and gained a new ally, but who were those two figures on the roof top and what is going to happen with Lyle gone if they have to fight again... Well find out next time in PROPHECY!
