Chapter Two: More the merrier… Just not here

 

“What are you doing with those?” Leon roared,

“Chill out Leonhart” Cloud said,

“Don't tell me to be calm! Those are mine” Squall yelled,

“They ain't yours they actually belong to Edea” Cid informed him,

“She gave them to me”

“Squall come on sit down and enjoy them… you know you want too,” Yuffie teased.

`Damn I hate it when she's right' Squall thought,

“It's Leon,” he said simply in defeat.

“Before I knew it, them Tikes had grow up to be kids” Cid said opening the second album. Squall came and sat with the group,

`It's at the bottom” Squall told himself,

`If I stall I can by myself some time.' Squall sat next to Yuffie with Aerith hovering over his back and Cloud on Cid's other side.

“They were growin' faster than weeds on steroids and all I could do was watch,” Cid said,

“Huh… you did was watch gramps, the tube that is” Cloud said smugly,

“Hey I was an alright baby sitter!” Cid yelled, Yuffie tapped him on the shoulder,

“How come there are more kids in this pic than before?” she asked,

“Well some came later in the year” Cid explained, pointing to one girl with silver hair and an eye patch.

“That there's Fuijin, and as far I can reckon she and this boy over here,” Cid said moving his finger to a male child with tan skin and black hair,

“Raijin, or whatever were that Seifer boy's cronies, came mid season they did and a bunch of noisy, rowdy, know-it-alls was what they were”

 

~Flashback~

 

“Yo Cid! I wanna get outta here you know?” an 8 year old Raijin complained,

“Silence” Cid said,

“Hey Cid come on we don't need a baby sitter” Seifer said.

“Silence” Cid said,

“We want our freedom you know!” Raijin pressed.

 

~End Flashback~

 

“Yeah I remember that crew,” Squall said,

“But the loudest and most obnoxious was that Fuijin, at the time at least, then for no reason she just stop talkin' I couldn't even guess why” Cid interrupted.

`I remember' Squall thought.

 

~Flashback~

 

“YOU'RE A WIMP!” Fuijin shouted, she pushed Zell down and he stared to cry,

“Ha look at the Chickenwuss cry!” Seifer laughed.

“Leave him alone Seifer!” Rinoa yelled stepping in.

“Oh look it's Mrs. Goodie-too-shoes,” Fuijin said sarcastically,

“Teach her a lesson you know!” Raijin egged. Seifer walked close to her, and she backed up a bit, he made her uncomfortable.

“Alright I'll leave him alone… if you'll kiss me” Seifer said,

“Never!” Rinoa said crinkling her nose,

“That's gross,” she continued. Seifer smiled,

“We'll see,” he said grabbing her wrist,

“Let go of me!” Rinoa cried, but Seifer wouldn't let go he started to pull her down the long hall from the playroom to the dormitories.

“CID! AURON!” she yelled.

“HEY!” A female voice came, Seifer and his gang turned around, Squall stood there and behind him was Quistis.

“Seifer let her go!” she demanded, he did but smirked. Rinoa scampered back across the room to where Zell sat on the floor. Seifer looked over at her and winked, she cowered behind Zell.

“Don't ever touch Rinoa again,” Squall threatened,

“Or what shorty?” Seifer asked,

“Or I'll slice your face open” Squall growled,

“Not if I slice yours first.” Seifer threatened back.

“Enough!” Quistis yelled, Seifer smiled and walked past Quistis and Squall, Raijin followed, they walked down the hall and entered their room. Fuijin walked up to Squall and said,

“One day you'll be sorry Leonhart, I'll make you regret ever uttering hurtful words toward Seifer” Quistis smiled,

“Awww you like him?” she asked, soon the whole playroom was chatting and going awww.

“No” she whispered at first. Then Selphie began to sing,

“Fuijin and Seifer sittin' in a tree,

K-I-S-S-I-N-G”

“No” Fuijin said,

“First comes love,

Then comes marriage!” The whole room began to sing,

“No” Fuijin repeated louder,

“Then comes Fuijin pushing the baby carriage!” everyone finished and then laughed.

“NO!” Fuijin screamed, she sliced at the air with her arm tears ran down her face. She ran out of the room and to her bedroom. She sat there crying for many days. Squall felt so horrible, in a way he blamed himself, and he saw it when he noticed that Rinoa was the only one that didn't sing.

 

~End Flashback~

 

“I still wonder sometimes why she did that, lock inside her room for so long” Cid wonder,

“Meh, who cares” Yuffie concluded,

“Who's she?” Yuffie asked, Cloud turned his head away,

“That's Tifa” Cid said looking at Cloud,

“Hey kid you ok?” he asked, Cloud,

“I'm fine, old man, I'm fine” Cloud said, he stood up and left, Aerith followed.

“What's wrong” Yuffie asked,

“Cloud and that doll used to be an item, but when Aerith decided she wanted Cloud, Tifa decided Cloud and her were cooler as friends” Cid explained,

 

~Flashback~

 

“Kids listen up!” Auron called out to the playroom. Everyone stopped what he or she were doing,

“This room has to be cleaned for the arrival of Edea she'll be coming later today” Auron announced and then left. Quistis stood up and began to coordinate.

“Ok Selphie, Irvine and Zell will work on tiding up arts and crafts”

“Ah man again?” Zell said,

“Squall, Raijin and me will do a routine check on the dormitories.”

“No way! I am not going anywhere with out Seifer, wherever he goes, I go, ya know?”

“Ok then Raijin, Fuijin, and Seifer are on bathroom duty,”

“Bummer” Raijin said,

“And Tifa, Aerith, and Cloud will work on the toys” Quistis told them,

“Ok “ all three said. Everyone got to work.

“So Cloud, wanna play with me after we're finished cleaning?” Aerith asked,

“Sure” Cloud agreed,

“Cloud you said you'd play with me” Tifa told him.

“Oh yeah”

“Well” Aerith said wrapping her arms around Cloud,

“Cloud like me better so I'm playing with him.” Tifa looked hurt she looked at Cloud and said,

“I understand…” she turned from Cloud and continued to clean up.

“Tifa…” Cloud didn't know what to say, he just turned and began to clean too. Slowly a tear slid down Tifa's face and a tear slowly slid down Cloud's face as well.

 

~End Flashback~

 

“What happened to Tifa” Yuffie asked,

“You know Yuffie, I'd like to know that myself” Cid said.

“Several years later the same thing happened again this time over kissing rights, Aerith won, I don't think Cloud would haven been happy either way” Cid explained. Then after a while Cloud and Aerith returned

 

 

Not exactly impressive but second chapter is up, tell me what characters you want to see and I'll have an entire flashback about them ^^.
