A/N: This is just a temporary update as I am currently editing this story.
Back at the biker's headquarters sat a lovely young red head. The red head's name was Yami Spleef or Spleef for short. She looked to be around the age of 20 and was about 5ft 4inches with long red hair down to the middle of her back, which rite now was lying loosely around her head on the couch that she sat hugging her knee’s on. She looked to weigh around 140 pounds with a good sized chest. Her chest which wasn’t to big or too small either was pressed up against her legs as she hugged them and rested her head on her knees. She was wearing a loose fitting velvet shirt which was purple with black baggy cargo pants, and no socks or shoes on her feet.
Beside her on the couch sat a very elegant but fierce looking dagger made of gold. The dagger was about 8 inches long with emerald and sapphires encrusted in the handle. The knife was covered by a golden sheath which had ancient hieroglyphics engraved into the surface. It sat on the couch just around a foot away from its owner. The couch which was a deep red colour sat close to a 10 foot tall window in hers and her lovers sleeping quarters.
Their sleeping quarters were a judge’s chamber in the cities courthouse which they had decided to make their headquarters since it was well built with a basement floor full of jail cells that they could put their captives in. The courthouse, a five story building that was built only two years before was a dull gray brick with windows on all but one side, There was an entrance on the left side of the building so as the police could transport prisoners into and out of the building. The building also had a 2 floor parking garage under it. The courthouse which sat just two and a half miles away from the city limits was a very good choice for their headquarters.
The judges quarters which they had chosen was on the second floor just four levels above the jail cell floor, was one of the larger rooms besides the courtrooms themselves, with a high pitched ceiling, and a large bathroom all its own on the left side of the room. They had moved the desk that was in front of the window to the wall beside the entrance door. They had forced some citizens to move a fairly large bed into the room and place it under the window, so as they could see out over their city which they now had control of, Edge Fire City.

“Where is she, dang it?" I said to myself as I stood up and walked over to the large window that overlooked the city
.
“I wish I hadn't decided to stay here and rest, this place is kind of lonely and creepy when no one else is around." I continued as I looked down towards the street wishing she would hurry up and return back.
I decided to get me a glass of wine to bide my time as I awaited my lovers arrival. I walked over to the bar which Ballroom, that's my lover and the one I’m waiting for, had insisted on being installed. Once at the bar I grabbed a bottle of red wine and a glass and poured myself a glass of it.
After the initial invasion and slaughter, we had rounded up around fifteen of the remaining survivors and forced them to do our manual labor like moving furniture from certain rooms and other little odd jobs like getting us a food supply. Once we were through with the survivors we herded them into the 3rd sublevel of the courthouse, which just happened to be the holding area and locked them all up for later use as our slaves.
Taking a long sip from the glass I started walking around the room. As I walked around the room I glanced at the fine tapestry on the wall next to the window and all the books that were on shelves on the wall to the right of the window. The shelves were around 10 feet tall and were filled with law books and a shelf or two of mystery and suspense books. There were also about three shelves full of my favorite type, fantasy. There was a few science fiction books mixed in here and there but a lot were from the Dragon Lance series.
I walked over to the big screen TV that was across the room to the left of the door, taking another sip of the wine along the way, and turned it on grabbing the remote off the top of it. The big screen they had stolen from a delivery truck along with a bunch of other electronics on the way into the city. A few of the other things that were in the truck was a couple kick ass stereo systems with 3 ft speakers, a satellite system which they rigged up to receive all stations, a few DVD players and a bunch of miscellaneous other items..
Walking over to the bed I set my glass on the night stand beside it, I then plopped myself on the comfy unmade bed propping my self up on my left elbow and started to surf through the 200 some odd channels. I finally gave up and turned it to MTV 2 and pushed the time button on the remote.
The time read 4:56p.m, ballroom had been gone just over 2 hours and I missed her. She had gone out to make a run of the city to see if any more anymore survivors turned up.
I reached for my glass of wine and took a long sip of the tasty liquid. As I was drinking I heard the familiar roar of Bally's, that’s my nickname for her, motorcycle coming towards the courthouse. I could hear the windows rattle as I sat up and got off the bed. Standing up I turned the glass all the way up and finished the wine in two gulps.
I walked over to the window and glanced down to see her racing down the street towards her. I got back up on the bed so I could see her better. As I got up and looked out she slowed down so she could enter the underground parking garage on her bike
“YAY!!" I squealed and started jumping up and down on the bed. My hair was flying all over the place as I jumped. I stopped jumping around on the bed so I could catch my breath and stop my head from spinning. I jumped down from the bed, grabbed a purse like pouch from the night stand and threw it over my shoulder as I walked to the door and opened it.
I strolled into the hall and to the elevator which started to rise as I stopped in front of it, and took a seat in one of the chairs that was in the hall. Opening the pouch, I pulled a joint out of a little metal tin then took a drag from it as I lit it.
I inhaled a long drag from the joint and glanced at the floor numbers above the elevator doors that were lighting up as it past them. The elevator was at the fourth floor, ground level, and was slowly making its way up to the fifth floor where I was awaiting her arrival.
The doors opened as the elevator reached their floor and I smiled as I saw a bloody Ballroom with her sennen sword sheathed and in her hand. There was dried blood on her hands and some on he face. I could also see that there was blood on her dress which was now crusty and ruined.
I watched her step off the elevators and the doors close behind her. I took a big long hit from the joint and hopped up and went to give her a hug but she just shrugged me off and walked towards our room.
I stood there looking after her, stunned as she walked through the doorway.
