Feith: Seyr is not acrophobic.

Yako: Meaning that she's not afraid of heights.

Feith: In fact, she loves high places. Guess that just makes her more cat-like. I love kitties.

After school, Seyr stood on the roof and gazed into the distance. A huge dust cloud was gathering. It kept getting bigger and bigger. Something's coming. Seyr squinted. Shapes started to take form in the cloud. An army, but what does it want? She picked up her bookbag and walked to her gymnastics practice.

That evening, while on her date with Yako, Seyr told him all about her dream and asked him what he thought about it. He told her that she shouldn't worry too much. She smiled and kept the other thoughts to herself.

Yako Kidt, he had always been Seyr's best friend. If someone took it into their head to pick on her, he would stand up for her. When something big happened in her life, Yako was the first one she told, not even her father could compete with the amount of trust she had in Yako. Whenever she joked about Yako, she would call him her pet fox. This usually was a play on his last name because it sounded like the first syllable of kitsune, a word that meant fox. She started dating him because for some odd reason he liked her in that way. It wasn't that she truly liked him in that way; it was just that she didn't really want to lose his friendship or hurt his feelings `or any of that stuff. Yako has always been so kind. If I have to sacrifice my singularity, then that's a small price to pay for what he's done for me.'

"Umm, Sair?"

"Yes, Yako?"

"Why were you late?"

"Oh, I'm sorry." `I forgot that I stayed after practice to check on that army headed this way.' "I'll tell you about it later tonight. First, let's leave here. Waiter, check please!"

After paying for dinner and arriving back at Seyr's house, Seyr went into detail on what she saw. "Something's coming. I think it's an army, but what I'm wondering is what they're after."

Walking by just as Seyr said this, Raud replied, "They're after you."

"After me? How can you be so sure? I'm not Seyr; my name is Sarah. I'm just called Sair for short," Seyr explained.

"And why did people choose the nickname Sair as short for Sarah?" Raud inquired.

Yako cut in with, "Because when she was first found, she said she was called Sair."

Surprised, Seyr asked, "How did you know that, Yako?"

"Your father told me once when we were waiting for you to get out of gymnastics practice. Besides, it's not so bad being a demon; I'm a demon. Well, at least I used to be, before I had to go into permanent hiding," Yako replied.

Getting thoroughly confused, Seyr exclaimed, "What? This Seyr chick is a demon?"

"Yes. I mean no. No, I mean yes," started Raud. "What I'm trying to say is yes, Seyr is a demon and no, you're Seyr."

Jumping to her feet, Seyr panicked, "Get it through your thick skulls! I'm not this Seyr chick, and I'm not a demon!" Then she ran off in the direction of her garden.

Yako shrugged and started after her, saying, "I should probably go comfort her."

Raud, seriously mad, replied, "I think not!" and smacked Yako across the yard, knocking him unconscious as he hit a tree.

This pissed off Seyr. She sprinted to Yako's landing spot to check up on him before she shouted at Raud, "How dare you! I'll seriously hurt you for this!"

Laughing maniacally, Raud retorted, "How can you hurt me if you can't even defeat me?"

"You won't win; I'm the best fighter in town."

"We'll see about that."

Jumping lightly into a tree, Seyr prepared to launch into a thief's spat (that's where you claw and bite and kick and punch and do everything that is physically possible for you to hurt your opponent) when Raud suddenly appeared from behind and smacked her into the garden shed. As soon as Raud was sure Seyr was unconscious, he left.

Later, a scent drifted under Seyr's nose. `What's this? It smells like something is burning, but what could possibly be burning. Unless it's…' Too fast for even Raud to accomplish, Seyr jumped to her feet shouting, "My sweetrolls!"

Feith: I dunno why I haven't included any kitties in this story yet. *sigh* maybe in the future. Please review and tell me what I'm doing wrong.
