Luckily, that was a Friday and when Seyr overslept the next day, it was no big deal. She woke with a migraine from the amount of pressure the impact with the garden shed caused. `Man, I wish that I didn't go and challenge that guy, but he hurt Yako. How did he defeat me though? If he defeated me, does that mean I'm... weak? Well, as they say, "That which does not kill you makes you stronger." Let's go and see if I can get up to his speed.' Crawling out of bed, Seyr tried to remember as best as she could where she had said Raud could stay. She walked into the kitchen and got out her breakfast. A note was posted on the refrigerator:

-Dear Sarah,

-I'm sorry I wasn't there to wake you up this morning, but the marshal asked me to oversee the training of the new recruits. Yako told me that you had some problems last night, and I think that I should tell you that you are adopted. Your mother and I found you by the riverside. If you wish to know more, don't be afraid to ask. I may not be related to you biologically, but I do care about you and think of you as my daughter.-

-Love,

-Your father

(a/n: if you got any good names post them in your reviews)

`Just great, thought Seyr, more new things to scare me. Man, I wish people wouldn't go and expect me to save them or something like that. Raud mentioned something about Seyr's father wanting her back. Maybe I am this Seyr lady, but that doesn't mean I have to listen to everything everyone else says.' Still lost in her thoughts, Seyr made her breakfast. She looked at her burnt sweetrolls and started up a new batch. While waiting for the dough to rise, Seyr headed out with the intention of forcing Raud into training her in speed.

KNOCK, KNOCK.

The door slowly opened, and a head stuck itself out of the crack. Raud looked, saw it was Seyr, and opened the door the rest of the way. "Uhh, hi," stammered Seyr. `Damn, he has no shirt on.' "Umm, I just came by to say that I'll admit you're the better fighter for now and to ask you if you could train me to be as fast as you."

Yawning, Raud stretched. `How can he be so hot just stretching?' "I guess I can get you close to my speed and still keep my edge. Anyways, it'll just make it easier to deliver you to your father, but first, I must have confirmation that you are Seyr. So, I guess if you can create a weapon for me and transform Deathsong into a sword, then I'll teach you."

`Sounds like a lot of work for tomorrow night, but I'm not accepting that price.' "I'll compromise. I'll make you a weapon, then you must start training me (on weekends mind you; I've got gymnastics practice after school everyday). After the training, I'll challenge you to a rematch and that's when I'll transform Deathsong. Unless that demon army gets here before the training is over, then I'll transform Deathsong in order to defeat them. Fair deal?"

Continuing his stretching, Raud replied, "Okay, whatever. See you when you finish making that weapon." Seyr had been watching Raud stretch, intrigued. When Raud finally noticed it, she had started blushing from her hormones reacting so strongly. `Dammit, maybe that's why all the girls can only talk about him in the locker room.'

Feith: Okay, I'm not gonna post anymore until I get at least five reviews. I accept all reviews. Flame me if you don't like the story. I'm only here to please the readers with my wonderful talent of writing.

Kami: *cough* She has no talent.

Feith: This is Kami. He'll be appearing much later in the story. Also, I would like to thank SeaMyth and Minerva, who showed me this site and let me know that I can post original stories. I would also like to thank Raenef from FFD. I know that she's somewhere on this site, but I don't know her screenname, so Raenef, if you are anywhere out there, please state yourself in a review. The only fanfic that I've ever written and was pleased with is Real Life Applications of The Bunny Hop. I just gotta find it and create an OC then I'll post it. Umm, when I do it'll be posted in the YYH section. Also, I would like to warn you that there might be a couple of YYH references in SP. Don't go searching for them. I'll point them out when they appear.

Yako: Hasn't one already appeared?

Feith: Oh, yeah! Yako is partially based on Kurama, so there'll be some similarities in their pasts. The one MAJOR factor that separates the two of them is that Seyr changed Yako's life while Shiori changed Kurama's. Okay, that's enough rambling, on to more fun things like finishing Mint's game on Threads of Fate.
