Yuyu, the loving way for Kouin to call Yutaka.
Kou, the loving way for Yutaka to call Kouin.
Drama Queen, Kouin called Yutaka a Drama Queen on their trip to LA for always being crying and he complained saying he prefer to be called a Drama King. This part was omitted on this version of the story.
High Angel, is the equivalent for a ruler or a governor from a country, but in this case of the entire planet, Kouin's planet.

Yukata:
Kinjo Yutaka was eight years old when he first met Kouin, at 19 he confessed his love for him and lost him. Is wasn't until 21 he was able to be with him.

He is a music lover. He plays the guitar and the piano and has a beautiful singing voice. His heart belongs to Kouin and no one else since he first saw him. He feels attraction to women bodies, but only for sex. Kouin though of him of a little pervert before he knew his true feelings, all that was just a cover so he wouldn't suspect his real feelings.

Yutaka had a sick mother and an older brother who didn't care for him and left the house the same day his mother died. He had to survive on his own and always worked to support the household.

Yutaka worked as a masseur in a Spa and was one of the best. He was also a very bad student; he hated school that was why he was still in high school at 19. Yutaka failed the 11th grade and never finished the 12th grade.

Yutaka died for love at 21.

Kouin:
Takahashi Kouin was left on Earth at the age of 7. His father came along with him but was unable to share any time with him, because of a disease he carried on his body and couldn't transmit to his son. He didn't know why his father was never around or what happen to his mother or any other family. He didn't have any memories from before he moved to Earth, all he remembered was opening his eyes and being in a strange place. His memories were taken away before going to Earth.

Kouin was chosen for a mission; he must save his entire raze by having a child with an angel that lived on Earth. He didn't know any of this till he was 18, and was forced to have the child with a woman he didn't know who was at first, but that turned out to be the one he loved. The reasons for choosing him on the mission were because he was the only person on the entire planet without the disease and he must be the one to save them. All the people were frozen waiting for the antidote, his child's blood.

Kouin was a kind and gentle person who loved with all his heart two persons, Yutaka and Kai Ling. He loved the girl more he could imagine, but he always had a strong feeling for his friend, but never understanding what it really was. He would never expect his feeling to be love, so he didn't even think about it. He knew there was a strong link to him, but only realized what it was when he lost him forever.

Kouin blames himself for Yutaka's death even when Kai insisted it was an accident, but he always believed that would never happen if he has listen to his heart instead of his mind.

Kai Ling:
Fukazawa Kai Ling was the love of Kouin and his best friend; she loved him too but never realized it thinking she was just confusing their friendship. She though she loved someone else and chooses him over Kouin breaking his best friends heart. After she knew he will leave Earth and that she will lost him she confesses her feelings to him and broke up with her boyfriend Jotaru but since Kouin didn't know she was his angel he told her they should be apart.

After many conflicts it was revealed she was Kouin's missing angel and they coupled conceiving a child Kouin took out of her body and place him on an energy ball to increased the growth of the child. He then left to his planet and his boy born out there without his mother.

Without knowing a thing from her son or his love she decides to go on with her life and after a year of waiting for Kouin she gives up and accepts Jotaru's love again breaking Kouin's heart when he returns.

She left to Kouin's planet at the age of 18, but always had the feeling something happened between Kouin and Yutaka for the way he reacted when he died. She decided to forget about it and be happy with him; she though Kouin forgot about him with time and truly loved her since he acted happy around her and their son.

Jotaru:
Hayashi Jotaru was Kai Ling's boyfriend at his 17 and later at 19. He is a very vain person and selfish. He started going out with Kai to get back at Kouin for breaking his nose accidentally on a football try out. Then he truly falls in love with her but treated her more like a prize than a girlfriend.

Kai Ling broke up with him going to Kouin, so his hate for him grew stronger, but then Kouin left and he started going after her once again till she accepts him.

He graduated a year before Kai Ling since he was one year older and waited in town for her to go live together in NY. She was moving with him one week after Kouin appeared back on Earth to take her away, but he discovered all about them and sets her free going to Yutaka.

Since Kai Ling told him she'll go with Kouin no matter what, he decided to kill him so they won't be together killing Yutaka by accident.

Jotaru survived Kouin's attacks but was sent to jail for Yutaka's death. (There was a witness; Yumi. He also confessed it on court; he was disturbed for his doing and truly sorry.)

Yumi:
Shimizu Yumi was Kai Ling's best friend and Naoki's girlfriend. She helped Kai prepare her bag to go with Kouin and saw Jotaru killed Yutaka by accident. She ran to the lake to say goodbye to her friend when the accident happened. It was omitted since it was irrelevant to Yutaka's story.

Naoki:
Yoshida Naoki was Kouin's best friend from school and Yumi's boyfriend. He was at college when Kouin returned to Earth that's why they visited him on LA.
