Star Guardian Izumi

1: It All Began…
Long ago, in an alternate universe far away, there is a planet which is much like ours. This planet called Luna. There, the people of Luna were peaceful, until one day the Black Goddesses (led by their queen, Axala) attacked and ravaged the peaceful planet. Luna’s guardians, called Star Guardians, were summoned to ward off and defeat the Black Goddesses, who were after the Future Guardian. The Great Elders decided to send the Future Guardian to the planet Earth, because it was the last place that the Black Goddesses would ever find it. The Great Elders also sent an Avatar there to look after the Future Guardian.
Fourth grader Izumi Morimoto (aged 9) wanted to be an actress when she is older, because of the fact that her mother, Yuriko Morimoto (aged 27), was also an actress. In fact, she was also a model citizen and a somewhat average student at the Shidaru Elementary School. One day, while walking from school, Izumi stumbled upon a white kitten. When she brought it home, her mother was surprised that her daughter has brought home a kitten as a pet, because she loved cats. When she and her kitten went up into Izumi's bedroom, it began to talk to her.
“Thank you,” it said.
“What? You could talk?” Izumi asked.
“Yeah. Sorry I didn’t introduce myself to you. My name is Chibineko-chan, but you can call me Chibineko.”
“Where do you come from, anyway?”
“I come from the planet Luna. Plus, I’m an Avatar, so you must be the Future Guardian I’m looking after.”
“Me? The Future Guardian?” Izumi echoed.
“True, you are the Future Guardian, because the Black Goddesses are after you. Here, let show you something.” Chibineko did a few flips and what appears to be a wand appeared in front of Izumi.
“What’s this?” she asked Chibineko.
“This is a Star Wand,” she explained to Izumi. “To become a Star Guardian, just hold it in your hand and say this: 'Star Guardian Power!'”
