2: Izumi’s First Battle
Just as Izumi and Chibineko were going back downstairs, they heard a loud explosion near the parking lot near the mall.
“We got to check that out,” Izumi said.
“Right. As someone once said: When there’s smoke, there’s fire.”
When they got there, they saw a dark figure standing in front of them. “I believe that Axala has sent a Black Goddess to Earth,” Chibineko said. “Izumi, you know what to do.” Izumi held the Star Wand firmly in her hands and said, “Right. Star Guardian Power!”
And soon, Izumi was covered in light; her clothes were changing in the process. She now wore the same golden tiara, flimsy yet flowing blue dress, and red boots as the Star Guardians on Luna. She is no longer Izumi Morimoto. She is now Star Guardian Izumi.
“Hmm, who is this little girl standing in my way?” the Black Goddess Xedara thought.
“My name is Star Guardian Izumi, guardian of all things good,” Izumi revealed herself to Xedara. “I am here to fight evil and protect the innocent.”
“Huh, good speech, Izumi, but can you handle my Demon Blade?” Xedara said as she used her attack. Izumi managed to dodge her Demon Blade. “Izumi, your Star Wand also acts as a weapon,” Chibineko called out to Izumi from a safe distance.
“Summon the Sun Sword!”
“Okay! Sun Sword!” Instantly, the Star Wand changed into the Sun Sword. “Now use your Sun Sword to summon the Solar Blade,” Chibineko said. Izumi looked at Xedara, her target, and shouted, “Solar Blade!” Izumi’s attack made a direct hit on Xedara. “Nightmare Ribbon!” she shouted out her next attack, already dazed by the Solar Blade. “Solar Blade!” Izumi said. The Solar Blade destroyed Xedara’s Nightmare Ribbon. As that happened, Izumi’s Sun Sword changed back into the Star Wand again.
“Finnish off Xedara by using the Star Goddess Banishment,” Chibineko told her. “Got it! Star Guardian Banishment!” And soon enough, Xedara was banished by Izumi’s final attack.
Meanwhile, in Queen Axala’s palace, the Black Goddesses presented themselves to Axala. Axala noticed that one of the Black Goddesses was missing.
“Where is Xedara? Has anyone seen her?” she asked the other Black Goddesses.
“You sent her to Earth, remember?” Fiyala, Axala’s adviser, told her.
“I stand corrected; I did send her there to find the Future Guardian, but she didn’t return to me,” Axala recalled.
“I’m sorry to say this but I have just received a report from Black Goddess Saiedra on Earth that Xedara was destroyed by the Future Guardian,” Fiyala said.
Axala was shocked about the report, then she said, “Fiyala, send Qadaiga to Earth so that she could capture the Future Guardian alive.”
