6: Izumi’s Journey
Izumi quickly went back home after the ordeal with Daizen ended. “Man, I need to get some rest,” she said after she went into her room.
“Wait! You just can’t throw in the towel just yet,” Chibineko said as she watched Izumi pass through her bedroom door.
“Huh? Why were you telling me that?” she asked the cat.
“In my vision, while you were away, Queen Axala has planned a full-scale attack on Earth,” Chibineko explained. “You mean, like an army?”
“No, she is using the moon as a weapon to make an eclipse and to create natural disasters that are much worse than those that we have now. We must go to Queen Axala’s palace to foil her plans to destroy the earth.”
“Alright then, where could we find her palace?”
“Duh! Where else but the dark side of the moon, Izumi.”
Using the Balloon Levitation that Chibineko taught Izumi, she and Chibineko traveled to the dark side of moon. Once there, they started to look for the palace. “The palace shouldn’t be far from here,” Izumi said. A few minutes later, they spotted the palace. When they got near the palace, they realized that it was heavily guarded. “How do we pass through all that?” Chibineko asked Izumi. “We’ll force our way through,” she answered.
"No, Izumi, wait!" But it's too late. Izumi already ran to the entrance where two Black Goddesses were guarding it. “Sun Sword Strike!” Izumi shouted as she attacked the goddesses, which were destroyed by Izumi’s attack. “The coast is clear, Chibineko,” she said. “You can come out of hiding now.” After Chibineko went out of her hiding place, she and Izumi entered the palace.
