5: Izumi vs. Daizen
An enraged Axala called upon Daizen, another Dark Avatar, to her secret chamber. “Izumi is quickly destroying our empire,” she said. “I want you to destroy the girl. Is that understood?”
“Understood, your highness,” Daizen replied. Meanwhile, at Shidaru Elementary, Izumi and Natsuko were talking about Chibineko and the incident at Izumi’s house when their teacher handed out yesterday’s test to the students. Natsuko looked at her paper and said to Izumi, “I got a 72 on my paper. What does yours say, Izumi?”
“An 81, which is nine more than yours.”
“You’re kidding, right?”
Izumi shook her head. Later that night at her house, Izumi was watching TV while Chibineko slept in the couch. She then went into the kitchen to make a sandwich, because she was hungry. Unknown to Izumi, however, someone was secretly watching her from in the darkness. “We’ll see why, Izumi. We’ll see,” an unknown voice said from the dark.
The next day, Izumi went to sit at the park’s water fountain thinking about her being a Star Guardian. “What are you doing near the fountain, little girl?” a voice said.
“Uh, nothing, I guess,” Izumi answered nervously. Soon, a tall, dark figure appeared from nowhere and it approached the girl.
“So you think you know much about it, do you, Izumi?” Izumi didn’t answer.
“I guess you’re right,” the voice said from the tall figure. “My name is Daizen and I work for Queen Axala.”
“So you come here to destroy me, didn’t you?” Izumi finally answered. “That’s what I’m going to do. Shadow Ball!” Izumi saw the Shadow Ball and dodged it.
“Where did she go?” Daizen said, looking around.
“I’m right here,” a familiar voice said. It was Izumi, using her Unseen Trick with the Star Wand. “Show yourself!”
“Did you miss me, Daizen?” Izumi said, reappearing before his eyes. “Clock Circle!” Izumi’s attack hit Daizen, stumbling to the ground.
“You foolish girl!” he roared at her. “Demon Blast!”
“Thunder Break!” Izumi’s counterattack quickly intercepted Daizen’s Demon Blast. “Now to finish you off, Daizen,” she said.
“White Wave Elimination!” And soon, Izumi’s White Wave Elimination quickly destroyed Daizen.
