Fan Fiction ❯ Stormy Conscience ❯ Chapter 2: A Falcon that can't fly ( Chapter 2 )
"Blade… Come on Blade get up." I realised that I was going to get no where just whispering to him and shaking him weakly. I had to use some force. "BLADE GET UP." I jumped about ten feet when suddenly he grabbed my wrist.
"Got ya, my dark hair beauty. God that was so funny Chaos you should have seen the look on ya face. It was like…" he does an impression of my shocked face. "So what do you want… in my bed I see, why does everyone want to get in bed with me?"
"You are such an egotist and so immature, Remember you 25, not 5." I give him a superior look. Before walking over to the window, where Shaz sat, the room was a tip, rubbish everywhere and cloths and personal belonging in various piles.
"o.k. I'll act 25 if you act 14 instead of 40, god all you're nagging reminds me of butchy. I wonder when or it he'll ever get that pole out of his arse." He sniggered whist he threw some clothes on which were hanging over the end of the bed.
"He'll kill you if he catches you calling him Butchy, or worse still sack you. He's so nearly killed Max the last time we saw him cos Max called him Butchy Baby." Shaz points outs as she begins to brush her long black hair. She is total fed up of being here, it's not that hard to tell, she's being meaner then normal even to Blade.
"Though I think he'd torture him for the pole up the arse expression first before he even thinks about the Butchy thing." I corrected, I smirked at him. He rolled his eyes before snatching the brush off of Shaz who squealed in outrage at him. Ash burst threw the door, then realising his mistake knocked on the door.
"Ash I don't know what the culture in your country is but here you knock on the door before entering not after." Blade sniggered at him, then putting on a serious as possible face he continued, "What's news for hell?" his serious look which was very serious began to fade fast.
"Driane is heading this way, so we must assume Dragon is heading this way to." He glared at Blade who had a particularly wide grin on his face. "Can you go 10 minutes with out smiling it gets really annoying sometimes."
Blade at this time was trying to contain his excitement, he hadn't seen Dragon for along time… Well a month but that is along time when they're concerned. Dragon is hardly ever more then a yard away from Blade. Ash slammed the door behind him simultaneously Blade leapt on the bed. He acted like a little kid on his birthday when his just got his -presents.
"Calm down it's not that exciting, so Dragon going to be here, but then he'll have to go again to kill that Drain bloke." Shaz stated as she watched people in poor clothing walk passed beggars in rags.
"First his name is Driane pronounced Dri-un, not Drain. Secondly Dragon isn't gonna kill him he wouldn't hurt a sole and thirdly I have decided to travel with D-boy, cos I couldn't live with myself if he got hurt or lost." He nodded his head decidedly at Shaz.
"What about us?" I demanded, "We can't stay here on our own. Butch and the others don't have time to look after us all the time, anyone could just walk in and kill us." I stared unbelievable at him, well that's what you get from a guy like him, if he was a little less spontaneous and thought about it before he says or does something he might get in less trouble.
"I hadn't thought of that… if I go with Dragon you two are in danger and if I stay here there's a small chance I might never see him again." He bounced to a sitting position at the end of the bed. "Come important girl of strange falcon clan, come important girl of da normal and lowly human group thing. Give moi a hug to help us think what to do."
Shaz jumped on the opportunity to sit on Blade's lap, it was so obvious that she had a crush on him. Blade, of corse knew, but he wasn't interested in her, but still played on it though. I remained firmly where I was, I still didn't trust Blade enough to get that close to him. Blade wasn't his real name, it was Will but he lost that name completely as he lost his mind. There seems to be a trip switch in his mind, when his under extreme pressure or if some-one's trying to kill him he loses it. He goes from nice friendly Blade to a psychopath who doesn't care who he kills as long as he kills some one and it's normally the ones closest to him who suffer and him, as Snake usual shots him with bullets before the tranquilizer. Luckily it hardly ever happens and no-one knows him he let alone wants him dead so we're pretty safe with him, I guess. But still I has a good reason to be cautious around him. I try not to though because it hurts him to know that some people still don't trust him enough to be near him. Although he never says anything you can tell by his eyes. I turned my gaze to the view out of the window, god knows how we got here. Well I suppose Dragon does. But getting a straight answer out of him is impossible, even for Blade, though Blade usually gets an answer that makes no sense at all but at least he gets an answer.
"Blade I'm bored. Lets go outside." Shaz demanded, breaking my thoughts.
"Yeah that would be a great idea," Blade stated sarcastically. "Then we could volunteer to be sold a slaves, before taking up a career in bear wrestling." He paused. "I was being sarcastic by the way, before you get any ideas. Anyway you would be O.k. cos I'd be the one gettin' the blame cos if Butch found out he'd rip me to pieces."
"But what if he didn't find out…" Shaz was cut short by Blade
"Didn't find out," he snorted, "that guy's telepathic. He'd know as soon as we walk out that door where we were going."
"But the rule isn't don't go out it's, you not allowed to go in the town, so if go to the woods outside the town we wouldn't be breaking the rules." Shaz pointed out, "And you know Dragon's in the area so we might see him which would be cool."
"You manipulative bitch. How the hell I'm I meant to say no to that? O.k. lets go people." He jumped up quickly, dishevelling Shaz from his lap.
