10: The End 2

Lupus and Hydra were still going at it. Hydra had tried to shake Lupus off the sickle after lifting him into the air. Lupus wouldn’t let go. Instead he’d slowly started to climb the chain. He soon reached Hydra. Hydra put his hand in Lupus face.

“Heh. Time to die. Multi-Fang,” Hydra said.

Spikes began shooting from the ball of energy in Hydras hand. Lupus let go of the chain as the spikes drove into his body. Lupus managed to land on his feet and brought his fist back. His fist began to glow and he put it forward like he was throwing a punch.

“Wolf Fang Fist,” Lupus shouted as a blast of energy went screaming toward Hydra.

The blast turned into a wolf and plowed into hydra. Hydra screamed in pain. The Titans looked at him as he fell from the hole in the wall. He hit the ground and didn’t get up. Everyone looked around. Serpentarius was dead. Leo was dead. Hydra might have been dead, but no one knew for sure.

“Now we have to deal with a certain rogue Virtue,” Crow said placing his scythe on his shoulder.

Robin walked toward them, “You don’t have to worry about me anymore.”

The all looked at Robin. His aura was gold as were his wings. He held out his hand and formed a spear that looked like a bird at the tip.

“So you’re okay now?” Beast boy asked.

“Yeah, Thanks to Star,” Robin said smiling.

Starfire blushed bright red. She smiled sheepishly and giggled.

“Hey! Where’s Slade?” Cyborg asked looking around.

“Probably slinked off,” Crow said.

“Lets go home,” Raven said with a smile.

When they got home Draco, Tigris, and Lupus packed their bags.

“So you guys have to leave?” Phoenix asked.

“Yeah, but you two don’t have to come with us. Oh, and if you ever need help just give us a call,” Draco said as he swung his leg over his motorcycle.

“In that case take these,” Robin held out three communicators.

Draco laughed, “We don’t need those. You’ll be able to contact us when you really need our help.”

Draco put his helmet on, waved, and rode off. Crow turned to Tigris and Lupus.

“You guys leaving too?” he asked.

“Yeah, but don’t worry too much. You’re Virtues now. You’re tied to us and us to you. Out paths will cross again,” Lupus said as he hopped in his car.

Tigris climbed in and they both drove off after Draco. The Titans went inside. Raven and Devin went to their room.

“Are you leaving again?” she asked afraid of his answer.

“No. I can find the extent of my power here. Besides, fighting against Draco you have to learn absolute control or you get butchered,” Crow answered with a smile.

“So do I call you Corvus now?”

“No. but I cant really be called Devin now can I? Crow sounds good. Its my original name and my new name.”

“Crow it is.”

The alarms in Titans tower went off. Everyone rushed to the living room.

“Cinderblock is being bad again,” Robin said.

“Lets go then,” Crow said.

When the Titans reached the place were Cinderblock was, Crow and Robin looked at each other and smiled.

“You guys stay back,” Crow said over his shoulder.

Both boys made their weapons appear and slowly walked toward Cinderblock.

“Hey you pile of rubble. Why don’t you try your luck on an opponent that can fight back,” Crow called out.

Cinderblock turned to see who was yelling at him. When he laid eyes on Crow Cinderblock dropped everything and slowly backed away. He was obviously scared out of what mind he had. Crow stepped forward and Cinderblock stepped back. Phoenix jumped into the air flipped and dropped into an Axe kick on Cinderblocks head. In his War room Slade watched. He slammed his fists on the console in front of him.

“I’ll get my revenge on you Titans. This city will be mine, you wait and see,” he growled.

Oni: Well there you have it. With the help of a few new friends, Devin saved the day again. But there’s still a few things in store for Devin, and Raven. Here’s a preview:

The figure watched as the boy in black and the girl in blue sat at the table.

“Ive found them,” He said.

Very good, the voice in his head said.

He would have thought himself crazy if it weren’t for the fact that he knew the source of the voice. The source sat in his own world and was very much a real person, so to speak.
The young man smiled, “Very soon brother. Very soon father will take what you hold most dear.”

“And who might this father be?” a voice behind him said.

He reeled and saw a figured standing behind him. The figure was dressed in a long black duster and that was all he could make out. The figure brought a sword seemingly out of nowhere and brought it to bear. The boy could clearly see the long thin dragon etched into the side of the large katana.

“It seems you leave me no choice but to retreat,” the boy said, “We will meet again.”

“I’m sure of it,” the other said.

The boy disappeared into the shadows. The other walked over to the edge of the building and put a boot clad foot on the rim around the roof. He laid his arm across his thigh and sighed.

“You’ve grown too careless my friend,” He said sadly.

Oni: Who is this boy watching the two? Who is the boy protecting them from the shadows? Who are the boy in black and the girl in blue? Two of those questions are easily answered. The third you’ll have to wait and see. Later!
