"Come on, open up!"

Dimitri felt like an idiot standing outside the Titan Tower. It's been about 6 minutes since he first knocked. The sun had set some time ago.

The door opened and Cyborg answered the door. Standing about half a foot taller than him, Dimitri felt somewhat overwhelmed.

"Uh....Where's Katri......I mean Raven?"

"She's asleep." said Cyborg, with a kind of smile on his face.

"Don't blame her, She had one heck of a day." He walked inside but moments later he's stopped by Cyborg.

"Whoa there, No firearms allowed in here."

"How did you know that I had guns?" said Dimitri, sounding surprised.

"This flashy eye isn't just for looks."

Dimitri sighed and just steped aside and took off his trenchcoat. He gave it a shake and pistols, micro-uzis, a sawn-off shotgun, concussion, incindiary, flash, smoke, and frag grenades, and enough ammo to start armageddon fell to the ground. He then started to lift up his pant legs and removed 2 guns on each leg and removed and AK-47 he had hid in his pant leg.

He then stretched, kind of thankful of getting rid of the extra weight. Cyborg stood there stunned.

"Keep 'em, I got more at home." said Dimitri.

As he was putting his coat on Cyborg noticed that there was a bandage on his right wrist.

"Whats with the bandage?"

Dimitri looked up at Cyborg. "uh...It's just nasty cut. You know, the glass?

"Ohhhh!" said Cyborg understandingly.

They got up to an elevator and headed up. As they waited for their stop, Cyborg looked down at Dimitri.

"Sorry about firing at you before." He held out his hand. "You can call me Cy."

Dimitri shook his hand as he looked up suspiciously "You remember me?"

"Raven told us all about you. You saved her life from Slade."

"What? You mean Tin-man?

Cyborg laughed at that joke, "Hey, you're pretty funny. A friend of Raven is a friend of ours."

"Yeah....A friend."

As the elevator came to a stop they walked in. As soon as he walked out he was ambushed by Starfire.

"Hello fine stranger friend of Raven!" Dimitri was freaked out by the unerving optimistic tone she always spoke in. She handed him what looked like a enlarged and deformed cherry.

"Care to try my homeworld favorite: A Zorka berry?"

Dimitri grabbed the berry. "I tried weirder things." He took the whole thing in one bite.

Moments later, a look of slight discomfort covered Dimitri's face. Starfire waited in anticipation at what he thought about her homeworld favorite.

"Its....Good." said Dimitri, trying to keep a straight face. Realizing he just tasted an extraterestial berry, handed by an extraterestrial woman.

She just spun around in glee and went back to her room.

Dimitri looked around and made sure she was gone. Then he ran towards a sink and tried to wash out the taste.

Cyborg laughed at the whole situation. "Thats funny, usually the rest like it."

"It tasted like the best and worst of Mexican, Italian, and Chinese all rolled into one." said Dimitri, coughing up whatever taste he had left.

Dimitri sat down and watched television. He then noticed a green dog laying on the couch and started petting it.

"What's it's name?"

"B.B." said Cyborg.

Beast Boy turned back into a human, freaking out Dimitri.

"oh..uh...hi...My names Beast Boy." He was visibly tired. "I'd like to talk but I'm tired dude." Beast Boy then just stumbled into his room.

Dimitri had a look of unease in his face.

Robin walked into the room and just glanced at Dimitri

"Hey."

"Yo." said Dimitri "What do they call you around here."

"Robin."

"Why do they call you Robin?"

"Why do they call you Crow?"

Dimitri just scratched his head.

"Beats me."

Robin just shrugged. "Good night "Crow,"

"Good night "Robin" Dimitri said as he waved. Robin didn't glance back.

"So Cy, Anything on tonight?"

"Yeah, some horror movie marathon on channel 7"

"Sweet, turn it on."

As he turned on the T.V. set as it was showing the previews to the next slasher flick he turned to Dimitri.

"It can get a little weird around here but you'll get used to it."

Dimitri smiled, "At least I have someone normal to relate to around here."

Cyborg looked back at the T.V.

"Yeah, it sometimes feels good to to be called normal."

The clock read 1:34 A.M. and Dimitri and Cyborg still watched slasher flicks.

"She only said about how you helped her six months ago. She said nothing about how she knew you before."

Dimitri just leaned back his head. "We were family,"

Cyborg leaned forward in interest. "How did you know her?"

"We were partners in a private military organization."

"Military!?"

"Yep, she was never all that into it though, she always read books."

"What happened?"

Dimitri sighed and leaned forward. "It's a long story."

"Hey, I just spent the last four hours with you watching Friday the 13th movies. I'm up for anything now."

"Whatever you say." said Dimitri.

"It was a cold night in the middle of winter, I remember having a talk with her because she was pondering why she existed."

"Yeah, I had plenty of those moments." said Cyborg assuringly

"Well...I went to sleep and I thought nothing of it. But in the middle of the night an alarm went off and I got my rifle and ran to the archive room. I found one of my commanding officers dead and the beast that killed him. It was her, she had four red eyes," Dimitri paused for a moment. "God, I'll never forget it. She knocked me out and I never saw her again."

Cyborg remembered the situation with Dr. Light and how Raven's emotion got the best of her.

"She actually killed somebody!?"

"She didn't regret it either." said Dimitri. "That really scared me. Mishkin must've said something really bad."

Dimitri sighed and continued. "We looked for her day and night but we couldn't find her. We all thought she was dead."

"Why did she mean so much to you?" said Cyborg

"She seemed like the only family I had. I never knew my parents, all I remembered was her. When she left I realized I had nothing to live for. I thought I might as well die than to suffer a lifetime without her. Then a friend told me something. He told me wherever she was she was happy. And that thought kept me going." He then looked at Cyborg. "You know, you're the first person I ever told this to."

"Do you love her?"

"It goes far beyond that." said Dimitri. He looked to Cyborg and smiled.

"Cy, thanks for taking care of her."

Cyborg just smiled back "Don't mention it."

Dimitri layed down on the couch. "I'm going to sleep."

"You need like a pillow or something?"

"No." said Dimitri.

"Okay." Cyborg shut off the television. "Goodnight Dimitri."

"Good night Cy." said Dimitri.
