Chapter Three - The Adventures Of Munchkin

As the farmer and the lamb poked their heads behind the bush they braced themselves for what they thought was the inevitable - it was a wolf and it would eat them.

Amazingly, they were wrong and as they opened their eyes after tensing their faces for a full on five seconds, they saw it.

It was light blue, about 3 foot tall, with big eyes, a mouth, and two very small and stumpy feet. It was extremely cute and by God was it furry.

What the hell is that??? Thought Farrison.

Dear Lord, it's hideous!! Thought the creature, looking at Farrison.

I wonder if its edible, thought the lamb.

The two, larger beings stood there for a while, staring at it. It looked at them, confused and continued to nibble its horseradish.

"I begs your pardon, good sir […it better be male or this will be embarrassing…] but would you be offended if I was to ask you of your classification?" said the more intelligent of the two (obviously the lamb).

"Mmmmmfffffff." Said the Munchkin, through a mouth of horseradish.

"Do you have a name?" asked the lamb.

The Munchkin showed it the tag, which was hanging from the back of its fur.

The Lamb held it in its hand and began to read.

" Animal Type/Breed: Munchkin

Name: Yverdon

Gender: Male

Language From Which Name Originates: Gibberish

Meaning Of Name In That Language: Little, fat horseradish"

"Well then, Mr Yverdon," said Farrison, "We is glad to be meeting you."

The Munchkin looked at them innocently and smiled, sweetly. It took another nibble of its horseradish when suddenly the ground shook (again………….).

Lightening struck nearby,

a tree set on fire,

the sky went black

(……um, okay so none of this really happened)…

… just, the Munchkin started to swell, violently.
