Angel of Darkness
Chapter 6
By: Lily Tsukino
Authors note: Yes I OWN EVERYTHING! I have created this story with my little screwed up mind. And I would like it to stay that way. If you wanna borrow a charater or two simply write to me and maybe if I like you and respect you're own stories and I know you won't make my character look bad then maybe just maybe you may borrow them. Unless you're my twin Chel then it's okay. Just let me know who you are taking...well here it is.. Ja bai!
~And the poem within this chapter was written by the wonderfully talented Charles Duffy, who was nice enough to let me borrow some of his poems because I read them and I thought they would fit great into the story. Once again thanks Charles!!!
~*~*Chapter 6*~*~
"Who's Memiko?" Questioned a Navy-blue haired girl as she was knocked out of the way by the rushing Kudoshi who was looking for his other shoe.
"Memiko is the girl that has been living here, well was." He said as he looked under his bed for the missing tennis shoe. Yuki looked at the dresser and saw his shoe, she smirked as she slipped it under the dresser farther. She hopped onto his bed which resilted in the flustered brunette to bang his head.
"Grr. Yuki-chan!" he glared. The girl simply smiled and smoothed out her green chinese silk dress. Wanting to change the subject, "So that Memi girl is that evil demon that has been corrupting my little Hosi? Well then I think-"
"She isn't a Demon! She's an angel! And she's really nice and and...wait where is Memi-san?" The little pig-tailed child said as she ran out of the room to look around the house for her new friend. In the backround you could hear her screaming 'Memi-san. MEMI-SAN!' Kudoshi bent down and found his shoe under the dresser. He looked up at the orange-eye teenager who just smiled innocently and skipped out of the room.
Kudoshi grabbed his coat and he began walking towards the door. Saddened, Hosi tugged at his jacket. "Where's Memiko? And where are you going?" She sniffed trying to stop her runny nose from actually running. She hated blowing her nose. "Kudoshi just moved out of her grasp and continued towards the door. "I'm going out. Hosi stay with Yuki til I get back." As he opened the door, Yuki told Hosi that he and Memi got into a fight and he told her to leave so she did. Hosi's eyes filled with tears to the point of which they streamed down her pink cheeks.
"Onii-san! Onii-san!! Say it isn't true!!ONII-SAN!! Hosi screamed as Kudoshi just slammed the door shut and climbed into his car. He could hear Hosi's screams of pain and sadness. He clentched his chest as he pictured Hosi inside the house. He put in the key in and started the engine. Yesterday's events kept playing over and over within the depths of his mind.
"Just when I start feeling things again, I am given a reason to shove all feeling aside again."
He drove towards town looking in every driection. Even stopping and turning around to look again. He didn't want to loose her. He couldn't loose her.
" I have known a lot of pain over the years. But I never knew the heart could shed tears."
He slowly drove into town he parked his car by a local hair salon and got out. He stood tall as he looked over the other cars.
" This inner pain can't compare with the others, it wraps the heart and starts to smother."
Without any luck he began to walk along the crowded side walks. Peering over heads and into store windows. Hopeing, wishing, praying that he'd see a glimpse of brown and red.
"Now as all my happiness fades into grey, I hope that her lover will return to me someday."
Without thinking he turned into the alleys hoping that she'd be lying within the darkness.
" In the beginning she saved me from utter despair. Now things have gone full circle and I find it still there."
