CHAPTER 6: GHOST'S FEELINGS

Hikari stood in the shadows her arms crossed over her chest.

"Freya has died."

Lounaru turned lazily towards her. "So, and I should care why?"

Hikari raised an eyebrow. "Wasn't she one of your followers?"

"Your getting at---"Lounaru's voice sounding as if he was trying to figure out why he should care.

"Never mind. Lord Taromecika wishes to know what your plans are. You do have a plan don't you?"

"...."

"HAUHOHOHOHOHOHOHO!!!!" Hikari laughed in a high pitched and very annoying sound which caused Lounaru to

scream clutching his ears.

"I thought you wouldn't! Well, well!! You better think of something soon or else Lord Taromecika will be rather displeased."

Hikari disappeared leaving an angry Lounaru behind.

"That bitch..."

"Ohh...Rya, I'm sooo tired!" Mara moaned, falling to her knees.

"To bad my car got destroyed from that blast...I guess we have to walk until I can get a new one..." Genki sighed.

"My wings are starting to hurt...and my feet are also very sore..." Mimi whimpered.

"That streak of light your stupid sword left goes on forever!!" Keith roared.

"...I can't help it if that is where the sword says to go!" Ryan snapped.

"Please don't fight...I already have a headache." Carrie pleaded.

"...Uhh...guys?" Ruto began, sounding very confused. "Since when was there a huge motel right beside us...? Am I seeing

things?"

"Huh!?" The group turned to fallow her stare and jumped in surprise.

"What the hell...? How did that suddenly appear hear? It wasn't there a second ago...was it?" Ryan cocked his head to side,

unsure of what to think.

"I bet there are nice soft beds and a bath in there!!" Mara smiled from ear to ear. "Finally!!"

"YEAH!! Let's go!!" Genki exclaimed, jumping into the air before taking off towards the doors.

"Eh...what if it's a trap?" Mimi frowned.

"Tinker bell has a point, it could be a trap." Keith said coldly.

"...A trap...hmmm...but...what if it's not? We can at least check it out." Carrie reasoned.

"I go for that!" Ruto smiled. "I also really want to take a nice warm bath and relax in a nice soft comfortable bed."

"Well, then, ok, we'll check it out. It wont hurt just to do that." Ryan smiled.

"WOW!!" Genki's explanation came from inside of the motel. "YOU ALL GOT TO CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!!"

The group turned to each other, shrugging their shoulders before walking into the house.

When they got into the house, they pretty much had the same reaction as Genki. The place was huge! The floor was a blood

red and the walls were dark gray stones. Lit candles inside of candle holders were lined on the walls, glowing softly as it gave

light to the room. There were tall steps going upward, and it led to a few doors upstairs. There were a few doors down in the

main lobby also.

"May I help you?" A woman said wearing a torn brown cloak which hid most of her face expect for her lips. She sat behind a

large desk, her elbows leaning on the wood.

"Oh!" The group jumped startled.

"Oh, hi, um, my friends and I are traveling and were are very tired from our journey may we please stay hear for the night?"

Ryan asked.

"Sure. You're my first visitors in a long time, so I'll let you stay hear for free."

"Really? Thank you so much! That is really kind of you." Mimi smiled.

"It's no problem..." The woman smiled. "Take any room you want, the baths and bars are free, everything you want to do hear

is free. I'll be leaving for in a short while to go home. Please enjoy your stay and make yourselves at home.."

"Well, you heard the nice lady!" Genki beamed "Lets make ourselves at home!"

"YEAH!! A BATH!!!" Mara exclaimed running up the stairs.

"Well, everyone, let's go relax we need a rest." Ryan smiled but then realized all the group had already disappeared into the

motel.

"Ah, did I actually expect them to lesson to me......?"

The bath was a huge pool, ivory statutes of dragons which poured hot water from their mouths surrounded them at each

corner. The girl's clothing laid scattered to the side as they all sat in the water commenting on how wonderful it felt.

"Ahhh..." Mara sighed as she let the warm water wet her skin. "This is wonderful!"

"For once and I think only time I totally agree with you, this bath is the best!" Ruto smiled as she ducked her head underneath

the warm surface.

"This bath is just like a hot spring..." Carrie whispered. "I love it!"

" I never had a bath this good, not even in the fairy-springs back home." Mimi commented.

"Hmmm...you know, it's funny this door only opens when a girl touches it." Mara thought.

" Well, it's the girls bath, it must have some sort of magic seal on it to stop a boy from coming inside." Carrie explained.

Ruto grinned as a dirty, wicked little thought crept into her head. "Thinking about bringing Ryan in hear, Mara?"

"NO!!" The cat growled.

"Sure, you weren't! Don't blame you though, he is cute." Ruto winked.

"Grrrr...Why you...."

"WATER FIGHT!!" Ruto exclaimed as she splashed water into Mara's face.

"YOU!!" Mara screamed as she splashed water back. Soon the two girls were having a water battle.

Mimi and Carrie glanced at each other grinning. "TWO AGAINST TWO!!" They exclaimed together both splashing huge

waves of water on Ruto and Mara. The two girls who had been locked in argument before turned to each other two with grins.

"Oh, your going to get it." Mara and Ruto smirked.

Laughter erupted from the bath as the four girls splashed water at each other, forgetting all of their worries they allowed

themselves to be caught up in the moment of playful fun.

Genki was sipping a coke as he watched Ryan and Keith arm wrestle. Neither of the two boys were winning against each

other, and were both red and sweating. Finally Keith's arm gave in and Ryan pinned it to the table.

"I win!" Ryan smirked.

Keith grumbled, falling back on the couch in the lounge. "Well, I just let you win, chicken-wuss, I'm really the stronger."

"Sure, have it your way Keith..."

"So, Ryan, what do you think about Ruto?" Genki asked abruptly, taking another sip of his drink.

"Hm?"

"You know, how she appeared before us in the temple but doesn't seem to remember, or how she sometimes spaces out and

seems to become...uh...someone else?" Genki continued a little timidly. " She does have a strange feeling about her, doesn't she?"

"If you ask me, that girl is nothing but trouble." Keith commented.

"I don't know what to think about her, but...she does not seem like a bad person to me...but something when I'm around

her...something inside of me just feels weird..." Ryan shook his head trying to clear his thoughts.

Genki grinned. "Well, she is cute. Not as cute as Mimi, might I add. But she is very cute, but most importantly she does seem

to be a nice person, a little temperamental, but nice...anyway, do you also feel like she is hiding something from us?"

"Hmmm..." Ryan closed his eyes, as he thought about her face. "Yeah, her eyes...they always seem so sad, even when she is

smiling, as if she is afraid to talk to us, as if she is hiding a terrible secret from us...I really can't describe it, but I really want to

get to know her, I want to help her."

"HEY!!" Keith shot up from the couch. "Chicken-wuss! You better not be getting a crush on that flat-breasted little brat. Mara

is in love with you, and as much as I hate to say that, I don't want to see you break her heart!"

"I'm NOT getting a crush on Ruto!" Ryan growled. "I just want to get to know her! I'm not a woman hog like you are Keith!"

"I'm not a woman hog!"

"...Let's see...Arisu, Nagisa, Juri, all of their young female relatives, a few girls you met on training missions..."

Keith grinned, putting his hands behind head. "Can I help it if women can't resist my good looks and charm?"

"Ugh..." Genki grumbled. " I can't stand the way you screw around with women like that...never could, you were like that

since we were kids...I'm glad your not after Mimi..."

"I could get her too if I wanted to." Keith tempted.

"WHAT!?" Genki growled.

"Huh?" Ryan cocked his head to his side. "Since you were kids? You knew each other when you were kids? I knew you two knew each other quite well, but does it really go that far back."

"Huh? Didn't you know?" Genki asked surprised.

"Ha! As if I would let anyone know I'm related to you, puberty boy!" Keith retorted.

"Well, the same goes hear PLAYBOY!!"

Ryan did a double take. "You two are related!? REALLY!?"

"We're 1st cousins...but more like brothers since both our parents died when we were of young age and both of us were raised by Genki's much older sister, Bra..... tell anyone and die." Keith warned.

"huh-huh...." Ryan nodded slowly. 'Never would have thought...Guess you find out something new everyday...but Keith and

Genki related? Practically brothers!? Wow...that is just too unbelievable...Cheerful Genki, hyper and friendly, and Keith serious and mean?'

" I wonder if we're going to stop at Angeles on our journey?" Genki smiled thoughtfully.

"I hope not." Keith almost laughed. "Bra's bound to show off our baby pictures....but I do really want to see my own room again."

"OUR room." Genki corrected.

"Hey, you better not make a Mimi shrine there to! I mean, she's cute but I don't go for fairies, and I don't want you ripping off my playboy posters off my wall again!"

"OUR wall." He corrected.

"....Hey, our house has hundreds of rooms, why is it we have to share anyway!?"

Genki thought for a moment. " Don't ask me, It was you who moved into my room when we were small because you were to afraid to sleep in the dark by yourself...You never moved back into your own room...you must still be scared about sleeping in the dark by yourself...Ha, ha, ha--ugh!!"

Ryan just watched in disbelief as Keith pounced on the boy screaming at him to shut up while they got into a mini little fist fight.

`I don't believe it...I'll never look Keith the same way again.....'

The large grandfather clock chimed twelve times, and the group at this time were all in different places.

"Heh, Heh...the first one that I will strike against is..." The woman that had allowed them into the motel reached into a bowl and

pulled out a name. "Mara."

The cat-girl laid on the bed half asleep. Her room was large like everyone else's, but unlike everyone else's she had a fireplace

which now burned warmly and bright with dancing flames.

Because of her tiredness she did not notice as her door slowly opened, and a dark figure walk in and kneeled beside her bed.

Mara groaned as she felt something slide against her foot, and slowly she woke and spotted a figure at the end of her bed with

a feather in it's hands.

"RUTO!! What are you doing!!" Mara exclaimed, growling.

"Heh, Heh!" Ruto giggled. " I was just trying to scare you Mara, this place does look haunted doesn't it? And I can't find anyone

else..."

Mara glared at the other girl and then a grin formed on her face. "Ruto you seem scared...could it be that Miss. Tuff-girl is

afraid of ghosts?"

"So what if I'm!?" Ruto sniffed. " I just want a little company, that's all, even if it is yours."

" Well I want to sleep! Go find someone else! And it better not be Rya!!" Mara snapped, covering herself back up with her blankets.

"...I guess I'll just hit the bar then...get myself really drunk then I wont be afraid...thank you so much for your company!"

It was around 5 minuets since Ruto left when Mara felt another tickling on her leg.

"RUTO!!" Mara hissed setting upward but saw to her horror this time it was not Ruto, but hundreds of cockroaches crawling

all over her skin.

"ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Her whole room was filled with hundreds of bugs, the walls, the bed, the floor, the door, even crawling all over her. Jumping to

her feet she ran towards the door her feet crushing the roaches on the floor as she ran out of the door, slapping herself all

over, and crying from fear and disgust, she continued to run not caring where she was going.

The woman in the old cloak smirked. "Now...who's next, ah...Ruto..."

Ruto smiled widely as she filled a large mug with two different bottles of wine. She was already blushing from the amount of

alcohol she had already consumed.

"Yum..." She whispered before gulping down the mixed drinks in the mug. In mid-drink she stopped as she felt a chill touch her

lips and she lowered the mug and peeked in. Her eyes grew wide, and she frozen trembling all over. A man's face was in the

mug, white and transparent.

"Don't steal my wine!" The old mans face exclaimed in a moan.

"KEAYYYA!!!" Ruto cried throwing the mug up into the air and dashing out of the room in terror.

Meanwhile Mara was still running hitting herself all over. "Bugs! Bugs! I hate bugs! Get off! Get off!!"

"WAHHHH!!! THERE IS A GHOST AFTER ME!!!" Ruto cried as she turned around the bend that Mara was turning on at

the same time and they crashed head on.

"RUTO!! Never thought I would be glad to see you!"

"MARA!! Same hear! There is a ghost after me!!"

"There are bugs after me!!"

" We got to calm down...we got to clam down..." Ruto breathed heavily, still shaking.

"Yeah...Must clam down...must-"

"DON'T STEAL MY WINE!!" The ghost exclaimed appearing around the bend.

"WAHH!!" The two girls screamed running away from the ghost only to be stopped dead in their tracks as the floor became

covered in bugs. Turning the other way they saw the ghost headed straight towards them.

"We're..." Ruto began.

"...Trapped." Mara finished with a squeak.

The stood frozen in fear for a moment before throwing their arms around each other in panic.

"ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The woman chuckled as she watched the event take place. "Who else...? Hmmm...Genki."

Genki was laying on his bed with his lab-top computer he had taken out of his capsule, playing a video game called Monster

Farm. He was so caught up in the game he didn't notice a figure walk into the room.

"Come on! Come on! There are only a few seconds left, you can beat him Baku!!" Genki yelled at the game as his fingers hit

the controls wildly.

"HIYA KIDS!!" A voice suddenly yelled causing Genki to jump startled. "Huh?"

He turned around and screamed in fear. "A....A....A....A....A....A" He stuttered, trembling.

"Want me to make you a balloon!! Hear, it's a doggie!!" The figure exclaimed as it twisted a yellow balloon into the form of a

dog.

"A CLOWN!!! ARGH!!!!" Genki screamed passing out from fear.

"Wuss..." The woman muttered shaking her head. "Um...now who?" Reaching into the jar she picked out two other names.

"Mimi and Carrie, your next."

Mimi and Carrie were already sound asleep and snoring softly when Carrie was first awoken by a low growl.

"Huh?" She blinked rising upward from the bed, peeking into the darkness to see where the sound had come from. She froze,

her face becoming pale as she ended up nose to nose with a giant three headed black dog.

"A....Cerberus?" She squeaked. "Mimi!!"

"Huh?" Mimi groaned awakened by the small yell. "What is it, Carr---WHOA!!!" Mimi exclaimed as she spotted the huge

black dog. Pulling out her T.P.R.A. {pocket race analyzer) she pointed it at the beast dog.

T.P.R.A. DATABASE INFORMATION

Cerberus

Evil monster dogs from the 9th layer of hell. They are very vicious and will attack on sight of an object. They are colored

according to strength. Blue ones are the weakest, then gray, then red and black ones are the strongest. They have three heads,

and they can spit fire balls out of their mouths, they are quick, strong, cunning and intelligent, their only weakness is that they

don't have good defense. We have no Cerberus in our training area, if this is a wild Cerberus you are pointing this at, don't

attempt to fight it, instead, run for you life for these things will not rest until their targets are dead....

Mimi put the race analyzer down with a gulp. " Think we should take their advice?"

"You kidding?" Carrie squeaked. "RUN FOR IT!!" The two girls run out of the room with a giant black dog on their heels.

"Hmmmmm, the other ones were funnier..." The woman sighed "Now is the time for a real good one!"

Ryan was leaning back on his bed, fiddling around with the sword in his hands, watching his face reflect of the cold steel when he

heard a knock on his door.

"Come in!" He called with a yawn, turning his head slightly towards the door. In walked Mara, Ryan grimaced, even though

Mara was his best friend, her obsession with hanging all over him like a newlywed couple was enough to make him want to

jump over the balcony.

"Hi Rya!"

"Hi Mara."

Mara began to approach him but then something really strange happened, another Mara walked into the room.

"Hi Rya"

She was followed by another and another, and another and another...when they finally stopped coming in their was around

twenty Mara's in his room all clinging on to his arm.

"HEY LET GO OF RYA!! HE'S MINE!!" One of the Mara's growled at the others.

"NO HE'S NOT!! HE'S MINE!!" Another one shot back.

"NAH!!! RYA WANTS TO BE WITH ME!!!" Yet another Mara shouted.

"NO!! I'M THE ONE HE LOVES!!!" A 4th Mara hissed.

"THAT'S IT!! I'LL CLAW YOUR EYES OUT YOU BUNCH OF TRAMPS!!!!"

All the Mara's began to fight and argue with each other while Ryan just slid to the floor in horror.

Blue in the face Ryan pasted out while the many Mara's continued to fight each other over him.

"Finally! Now none of them can go help Keith!! Heh-heh!! I'll be there in a moment cutey!!" with a excited giggle the woman

disappeared.

Keith was climbing out of his bathtub, his skin still wet with nice warm water, wrapping a short white towel around his waist he

left the bathroom and jumped in surprise as he saw the woman that had allowed them into the motel standing near the door with

her hands behind her back.

"Ms.? What are you doing here? I thought you went home."

The woman giggled. "How could I stay away from a cute guy like you? Anyway, this is my home. Well now it is anyway."

"Huh?"

"Heh-heh!!" The woman chuckled throwing off her cloak to reveal a young teenage girl with red pigtails, large green eyes and

freckles dotted her cheeks and nose. She smiled widely showing off cute dimples, her long yellow and pink shirt with a bunny in

the middle of it and the purple knee shorts made her seem no older then fourteen. She was cute but she had one main fault...she

was transparent!

"Wha...what are you?"

"I'm a ghost silly!!" The girl chuckled in a sweet surgery voice. "And I'm going to stay with you forever!!"

"Huh?"

The girl leapt forward to throw her arms around him in a hug but ended up going right threw him.

"Opps! That's right! I can't touch you!! Heh-heh!!" The girl laughed slapping her head as she stuck her tongue out at her own

stupidity.

"Just who are you!?" Keith growled beginning to lose his temper.

"Oh! My name is Anna-may!!" The girl grinned. "It's so nice to be alone with you Keith. It was so lonely waiting until the day I

could pass on...but now that I'm here with you...I'll never be alone again!"

"Look! I don't want to be stuck with a ghost ,you got that!" Keith hissed.

Anna-may's face turned sad and her eyes began to well up with tears.

"But...I...I don't want to be alone!!!" Anna-may began to burst into tears and then something strange happened the whole motel

began to shake, the force almost throwing Keith of balance.

Mara and Ruto stopped screaming when the bugs and the ghost suddenly vanished.

"That bugs are gone!!" Mara exclaimed happily.

"What's going on? The whole Motel seems to be shaking, I feel such energy...come on, let's go find where it is coming from, I

bet whoever that energy is coming from is the one that sent the bugs and the ghost!" Ruto explained as she began to run

towards the source of the shaking.

"Yeah! Whoever did this will pay!!" Mara hissed following Ruto up the stairs.

"Mimi!!" Carrie cried as the huge dog pinned the fairy-half to the floor.

"Ahhh!!!" Mimi cried, closing her eyes but suddenly the weight of the dog disappeared from her chest and she and Carrie

looked around confused for where the dog had disappeared to then the area where they were standing began to shake.

"...The whole place is shaking apart!" Carrie cried, clinging onto the wall.

"We got to find out where that is coming from...I hope no one is hurt." Mimi said worriedly.

Genki opened his eyes slowly and to his relief he saw the clown disappear into thin air.

"I wonder where that came from..." Genki blinked and then suddenly was thrown off his bed as the room began to shake

violently.

"What is going on around hear!! I got to get to Ryan's room and see if anything weird is happening to him or if I'm just going

insane."

Barely able to keep his balance Genki reached his door and stepped out into the hall, fortunately Ryan's room was right beside

his so he did not have that far to walk. When he got in his eyes became huge as he saw a passed out Ryan and twenty Mara's.

".......dear god...." He muttered, dashing threw the arguing cat girls and shook Ryan awake.

"Uhhhhh..." Ryan moaned opened his eyes to see Genki leaning over him and then turned his eyes to the left, saw the twenty

fighting Maras and fainted again.

"...Poor boy...he pasted out again from sheer horror..."

"Hey, hey, come on stop crying!! I'm sorry, ok!?" Keith growled almost deft from the loud wailing. Anna-may's face brightened instantly.

"Really!! Oh I like men who aren't afraid to apologize!" The ghost girl giggled, the motel stopped shaking instantly.

"What's going on hear!?" Ryan shouted as he and the others opened the door to Keith's room and watched surprised as they

saw a Keith setting on the floor and a little ghost girl dancing around him giggling.

"I wish I knew, really I did." Keith groaned.

"So you were the one that made all those creepy things appear?" Mimi asked, sipping her tea as everyone sat down at one of

the tables in the bar.

"Yup! I wanted to make sure that I could be alone with Keith and anyway it's part of the thing about being a ghost. People

inspects me to scare them so, I can't really let them down now can I?"

"I suppose not." Ruto growled, keeping her destance...after all she was afraid of ghosts, even if they were little girls!

"So...uhhh....what did you get scared with Rya?" Mara asked curious.

"Ummm....I can't remember..."

"I do!" Genki grinned. "It was twenty of you! I found him passed out in his room!"

At that moment Ryan could have killed Genki, and he might have if they were alone.

'He's even more of a blabber mouth then Parfait....' He thought with a growl.

Mara looked confused for a moment then to everyone's surprise she began to laugh. "He probably fainted because he could

not take that much beauty all at once."

Everyone at the table groaned and shook their heads at Mara's act of stupidity and vainness.

"Anyway, why are you haunting me, huh?" Keith asked seriously turning to the ghost-girl.

"Simple, I can't pass on until I get what I want, and that is a boyfriend and since it was your fault I died in the first place who

else but you could I haunt?"

"My fault you died!?" Keith asked surprised.

"Keith is that true!?" Mimi gasped shocked.

"You caused this girl to die!? I can't believe you could do something like that!!" Mara hissed.

"...I knew you were a jerk but this is another story." Ruto glared.

Carrie remained silent but her expression said everything. Genki hit his hands on the table, looking totally pissed off.

"I knew you were a playboy!! See what you screwing around with girls can do you bastard!!!"

"...Keith what did you do to her?" Ryan asked sharply.

"I don't even know her!!" Keith protested. "How could I have killed you if I never met you before in my life!?"

Anna-may's lip began to tremble as he eyes began to filled with tears. "You really don't remember....me?"

The ghost began to cry and once again the motel began to shake throwing everyone off their chairs.

"DAMN IT KEITH APOLOGIZE!!" Genki exclaimed.

"She's shaking the motel apart!" Carrie cried covering her head as some stones from the ceiling was shaken loose..

"FINE!! I'm sorry, I don't remember you but I'll try!" Keith shouted over the noise of Anna-may's crying.

"Thanks!! You treat me so well." The girl smiled brightly her crying and the shaking stopping immediately. "But of course I hope

you know, I can't let any of you leave until I can pass on."

" WHAT!?"

"I'll see you in a little bit!! Heh-heh!!" Ann-may disappeared leaving them all alone.

Of course they had tried to leave but the doors had magically become sealed, so they decided to get some rest considering that

Anna-may had promised not to play any more tricks on them.

Keith laid in his bed staring upward at Anna-may who now wore a purple pair of Pj's as she floated above him.

"What is it?" He asked tiredly.

"Can I sleep with you?"

Keith instantly blushed. "But...I can't even touch you ...how are we suppose to---"

Anna-may chuckled. "Not that I mean can I sleep in the bed with you. It's getting cold up hear."

"A ghost can feel cold?"

"A ghost can feel all kinds of things, just because our bodies are gone does not mean we are no longer human."

"Hmmmmm....Ok, get in."

"Thank you!" Anna-may jumped into the bed, but ended up falling half way threw it so only her butt stuck out.

"Opps...I think I should be a little more careful." Came her voice from under the bed. Keith just sighed as he rolled his eyes.

Genki who had been passing in the hall way, stuck in his head in the room, and smirked meanly.

"Hey Anna-May, I better warn you about something!"

"Hm?"

"Keith can snore quite loud!"

"YOU!!" The other boy hissed throwing a pillow at the hyper one who just laughed and closed the door, stopping himself from being hit. Anna-may just placed her hand on her cheek frowning.

"I never even thought of that..."

"I can't take it!! We've been trapped hear for days!!" Genki moaned, beginning to lose it.

"How are we suppose to stop Taromecika if we are stuck here?" Carrie sighed.

"I DO feel sorry for Anna-may but she has no right to keep us all trapped hear." Mimi agreed. Even the nice fairy girl was

starting to sound pissed.

"Somebody has got to tell that girl we are leaving!" Mara sniffed. " I can't take another moment cooped up in hear.

"YEAH!! I left home to battle demons not be held prisoner by a love sick ghost in a haunted motel!!" Ruto said bitterly.

"Be thankful you are not Keith. Anna-may hasn't left him alone for even a minuet, the guy is starting to lose his mind." Ryan

reminded. It was very true, Keith couldn't even take a bath without Anna-may there right beside him, he was starting to go crazy!

"Hmmm...What do you think Keith done to her in the first place?" Carrie asked, tilting her head to the side as she tried to think

about what could have happened between them.

"Maybe he dumped her and she killed herself?" Ruto suggested.

"Or maybe it wasn't an accident at all. What if maybe Keith wanted to dump her but did not want Anna-may going around

saying that he was a playboy, or maybe he got her pregnant and did not want the kid...Because you know that if he did do

something like that he would have been kicked out of the magic school, perhaps he met her on one of the training missions and

to keep her mouth shut he..." Genki trailed off.

"You mean he....killed her?" Mara squeaked.

"You have very interesting chats." Anna-may smiled half of her body poking her head threw the door. " Can I join in?"

"Uhhh...sure." Ryan forced a smile everyone looked uneasy not knowing just how much she had heard or how right they might

be.

Keith was walking around the halls, surprised that Anna-may was not right beside him but then he spotted her butt sticking out

threw Ryan's doors and immediately he walked into the room and found the whole group and Anna-may inside.

"Hi, cutey!! How are you!?" the ghost girl smiled brightly.

"Come on, we're leaving." Keith said to the girl and turned to leave the room.

"Awww... But I really like the atmosphere in hear."

"Fine, I'm going to go take a bath." Keith grumbled leaving the room.

'........Just what did I do to her to make her die...I wish I could remember, I feel so guilty inside...I want to make it up to her,

but I don't know just how much more I can take of her. Eh, me feel guilty...I hate these stupid feelings...'

Ruto laid down on her bed, watching the TV set that was in her room.

"That use to be my favorite show, I would never miss it when I was still alive." Anna-may said as she suddenly appeared

setting on the bed beside Ruto.

"Oh, Hi. I did not hear you come in. Yeah, it's my favorite show to, but don't tell anyone, they would probably make fun of me

for likening a soap opera."

Ruto backed away a little nervous but Anna-may stopped her with a simple gesture of her hand.

"Please don't be scared of me, just give me a chance, not all ghosts are scary..."

"..." Ruto smiled. "Ok."

a few minuets later the two girls watched the show both chatting away like long time friends.

Keith worriedly looked around the motel for the ghost girl lessening on each door until he came to Ruto's.

"I thought I would never see the ending of that show, with me being dead and all."

"Anna-may, how did you die anyway?"

"Well...You see, when I was alive I always wanted a boyfriend, I would have did almost anything for a boy to hold me in his

arms and tell me he loved me. For someone to actually kiss me, and hold me close. I dreamed of that ever since I saw my first

soap opera, but I thought I could never be pretty enough for a boy to like me."

"So you met Keith and he took advantage of you?"

Keith's face twisted at Ruto's bitter accusation but he forced himself to continue to lesson.

"No, No, It was nothing like that...I was walking home from school one day and I was day-dreaming about my first kiss,

and...I was hit by a car...THE END!!HEH-HEH!!"

"....That's terrible, but...um...How does this make it Keith's fault, was he driving the car?"

"No, and it was not Keith's fault at all."

"Then why?"

"Well, since I died because I was thinking about having a boyfriend the only way I could pass on was to get a

boyfriend so I might as well haunt a cute one, Heh-heh!"

"........I don't believe it..."

Keith could feel himself shaking with rage, giving the door a mighty hit with his fist he turned away and began to stomp back to

his room.

By the time he got back to his room he saw Anna-may already waiting for him. she was setting beside the floor with a guilty

look on her face. He guessed that Ruto and her figured it was him who had hit the door.

"Hi, Keith..." Anna-may said weakly.

"Your leaving now!!" Keith said coldly.

"But, Keith!" Anna-may cried jumping to her feet. "Why don't you want to be with me?"

"........"

"Is It because I'm a...ghost?"

"That is partly the reason, yes." Keith answered in the same bitter tone.

Anna-may started to sob quietly. "Even a ghost....even a ghost...." She looked up at him, tears of heart-break and anger within

her eyes. "EVEN A GHOST WANTS TO BE WITH THE ONE SHE LOVES!!!"

The sky outside turned pitch black and lightning came from the sky striking the motel, the whole building was shaking widely,

the windows broke as if hit by a strong force, the machines blew up, everything was acting as an outer image of Anna-may's

feelings.

The group appeared at Ryan's door all of them yelling at him to apologize.

"I don't care, she's leaving tonight!" Keith yelled stubbornly.

"Why...why don't you love me back...?" Anna-may sniffled the motel stopped shaking.

"BECAUSE YOUR A PEST!!"

Anna-may flinched as though hurt as physically as she emotionally by the words.

"What is it you need to pass on? You've been around me for days. What is it you want!?" Keith screamed at her.

"A kiss....I want you to kiss me Keith."

"YOU HEARD HER, GO GIVE HER A KISS!!!" Ruto screamed at him.

"Your kidding, how can I kiss a ghost?"

"I could possess someone's body temporality...but it has to be someone who can control the power of the light, someone's who

heart belongs to the side of good, someone who could never become corrupted by the darkness. Somebody who is pure...and

will always remain pure." Anna-may explained threw sniffles.

The group turned towards Ryan who began to back up nervously.

"H..hey don't look at me like that!"

"Ryan, come on, she says someone who can control the light. You as the savior of light should fit the bill." Mimi smiled at him.

"Yeah, let Anna-may possess you, then we can all get out of hear!" Carrie exclaimed.

Keith just dropped to the floor unable to fathom just what he might half to do.

"I...I...I can't!" Ryan protested.

"Come on Ryan don't be so selfish!" Genki exclaimed. "Go on Anna-may possess Ryan."

Anna-may shock her head sadly. "As long as he continues to guard his heart I can't get in."

"You so mean! Can't you un-guard you heart for even a moment!?" Ruto glared.

"...Hey, come on! My Rya does not want his lips to touch Keith's!!" Mara shot back at Ruto.

Ryan felt guilty as he stepped forward but even if he wanted too, he could not let his heart free for even a moment. The only

way he had been able to survive threw the years was to keep it sealed up, he figured that without it perhaps he would not feel

anymore pain he was wrong though but even so it was sealed up for so long he did not even know if he still had a heart to

unseal.

"I'm sorry, Anna-may, but I can't grant you your wish."

Anna-may closed her eyes sadly, letting a single tear fall from her eyes as she disappeared forever.

"...I'm sorry..." Keith whispered after the others had left the room, as he touched the tear drop that the ghost girl had left behind

on the floor.

The doors had finally opened and they were out of the motel, as they were about to leave the motel behind a little rabbit came

hoping up to Keith, jumping into his arms. He stared at it confused then suddenly the rabbit leaned in touching his lips with it's

own.

Keith's and everyone else's eyes widened surprised as Anna-may's ghost came out of the rabbit. She floated in the sky a little

above them, a small happy yet sad smile on her face.

"That was all I ever wanted ...Thank you, and goodbye." Her form disappeared into the bright blue sky, never to been

seen again but the memories of her would remain in their hearts forever. Keith, despite himself gazed into the sky with a small

smile on his face, letting the rabbit jump out of his arms disappearing like the girl.

"Goodbye Anna-may...."
