Chapter 10: Internal Darkness

"We have to turn her back to normal so please remember that before you kill her," Link reminded Karzon and Tenameru as the Master sword started glowing. The power radiated in Links hand but he was not sure what he had to do with it. He just had to make sure he worked with the other two.

Serria was not going to wait for these three guys to think about what they were going to do. She jumped into the air as the ground started shaking. She was floating in the air as the crack in the ground started growing bigger. Parts of the ground where they were standing started shooting up in the air making an uneven fighting ground.

Mido smiled up at Serria as Navi started flying around. She flew around Serria once then zoomed down and circled Mido. She had to find some sort of weakness to help out the others. Once Navi got the information's she wanted she flew back over to Link.

"Link! You have to pin Serria to the ground then thrust the mast sword into her heart, it's the only way to get rid of the evil thats trapped inside her. Once you do that, she'll be back to normal," Navi said briskly then she flew off towards Malon and Mika. They were going to have the biggest problem. Navi floated by the girls ears.

"Mido can't be turn backed good unless the sage of the Forest in back to normal, so your just going to have to hold him off. He's not a big fan of water either so that might weaken him!" Navi said then she shot up in the air. If they needed her she would be right here for them. As the fighting ground stopped shaking it was as if they were not in a canyon. The girls trapped on one side and the boys on the other. Navi was still flying in the air waiting for the battle to start.

Serria was the first to attack as she her arm from behind her back like she was holding a sword. And energy sword was forming in her hand until it took a full shape. She looked at Link and the master sword thats what she had to get rid of first.

Serria jumped to the ground and kicked Karzon out of her way. He back flipped over Tenameru and then threw her sword at Link. Link Blocked her attack but thats what she wanted him to do. With his split second off guard Serria slammed her hand in to Links side sending the master sword flying threw the air. It rammed and got struck in the tree.

Then Serria grabbed Links arm and hosted him over her shoulder, then she tossed him to the ground in front of Tenameru and Karzon. They were going to have to get threw her to get to the master sword. The three guys stood up tall next to one another. With out even speaking the three had came up with a way to stop here.

Mika and Malon were looking around for Mido he appeared to Desappeared when the ground stopped shaking. Malon jumped from one plat form to another making her way back over to Mika. Malon had her bow in her hand. Water and Ice was the thing to weaken Mido. That sounded to easy to be True.

A few stones away from Malon, Mika was keeping a sharp eye out for Mido. But the fight with the Guys and Serria was getting really intense over there and she found her eyes wondering to that battle every now and then. Mika then looked up Navi who was still flying around.

"NAVI!" Mika yelled up to the fairy. "Find Mido will ya?"

"Sure thing Mika!" Navi said as she shot down from the air and into the cracks and twist that Serria had made when shacking the earth. Navi was flying around in some dark spaces when she ran into something. She banged off it. She figured she must have ran into a dead end. She went to turn around and back track when she hit something else. Navi then got scared as she started flying around in a circle. She was trapped in some sort of bottle. Navi then calmed down a little to see Midos evil red eyes glaring back at her. She then floated to the bottom of the jar. Sometimes she hated being a fairy.

Malon hopped over another crack and walked on the platform that Mika was standing on. Mika was now looking around for Navi. There was no reason for Navi to stay down there so long. Mika then walked over to the one crack that Navi flew down into.

"MIKA!" Malon yelled as the ground under Mika's feet exploded. Mika went flying threw the air and land on a platform about twenty feet from where she was standing. Mika hit the ground hard and rolled a few times before she was able to stop. Mika got to her knee as Mido was now floating in the air holding a glass jar. In that Jar was a little blue fairy.

Mika jumped back up to her feet and started sprinting back over to Mido. She had to go help Malon and Navi. Malon on the other hand was not about to waist anytime. She pulled out her bow and a blue light started forming on the end of her bow. Mido tossed the jar with Navi in it to the ground and the jar started rolling away with Navi Screaming `hey hey'.

Before the Ice arrow was complete Mido jumped in front of Malon. she was not going to have enough time to Finnish it. She stopped the arrow and jumped out of the way before Mido could hit her. He jumped at her again and she flipped to the side. She could not kept doing this forever. Malon then smacked Mido in the side of his face with the side of her bow sending him down to the ground. Malon pulled her bow back up and was trying to make the ice arrow come faster.

Mido jumped to his feet again and kicked Malon in her stomach. She flew backwards near the end of the platform where she was standing. She sat back up just in time for her face to meet Midos foot. Malon then went flying off the edge of the platform and landed with a thud from a fifteen foot drop. Mido look over the side, Malon was not going to be moving for a while and then meant three would be not Ice arrows coming at him.

But as Mido turned around Mika punched him and then jumped backwards before he could do anything to her. Mika frowned as she hoped Malon was all right. Navi and the jar were still rolling away as she saw Mika and Mido start fighting. She had to get out of here she had to be so some help. Navi looked behind her. She was about to roll off the platform.

Navi then though really heard as she started to grow bigger. The glass on the jar started to crack, she kept getting bigger and bigger until final the glass busted. She was now in her human form with a few vuts here and threw form the shattered glass.

She then spread her wings and took flight in the air. Navi put her hands together as a small blue ball formed in her hands. She shot the ball off and it went flying towards Mido. The blue black knocked him off his feet and Navi land on the ground then walked her best over to Mika.

"I'm going to see if Malons all right...you think you can keep him busy for a little while longer?" Navi asked and Mika looked over at her then back at Mido who was slowly getting back to his feet. Mika cracked her nuckles then smiled at Navi.

"I sure can," Mika said as Navi then flew over to the side off the platform. But before she could go off to get Malon. An Ice arrow came flying past Navi and then stuck it's self into Midos back. His whole body froze and he turned into a block of Ice. Mika then ran over to the side of the platform and Malon waved from them. Navi then jumped off the platform and flew down towards Malon giving her a hug.

Malon gave her a hug and then Navi picked Malon up and flew her up to the platform and put her back down next to Mika. Malon had some blood dripping down her face and on her arms. But all and all she was pretty good.

Tenameru, Karzon and Link were not finding fighting Serria to be an easy task. Ever sence her fight with Nikki she had become sharper and more intent to what was going on around her. It was like she could read theirs moves before they did anything.

"I'll pin her down...." Tenameru said softly after a few minutes of them doing nothing.

"and how are you going to do that? Don't think about killing your self all right?" Karzon shot at Tenameru. Tenameru then eyes Karzon then looked over at Serria.

"Look I'm stronger then the both of you, Karzon you get her to go over to that cliff over there, Link get your damn sword back and I'll pin her down," Tenameru said and Karzon grabbed his shoulder before he could wonder off so they could get started on this little plan.

"Why the hell the cliff?" Karzon asked and Tenameru pushed his hand off his shoulder.

"Don't ask questions, just please do it Karzon," Tenameru said as he walked off and Karzon sighed. Tenameru was going to do something stupid just so they could turn Serria back to normal. But he knew what ever Tenameru was planning it was going to work.

"All right good luck Karzon," Link said as he slapped Karzon on his back. Sence Karzon was now three decoy. Karzon sighed then he ran towards Serria. Serria got ready to attack, she swung her arm towards Karzon but he bent backwards as she bearly missed him. Karzon then kicked Serria off her feet. He had to get her really pissed off so that he could lead her away from the master sword.

Serria flipped backwards as Karzon picked up some dirt and threw it into her eyes. She screamed as she tried to wipe out all the dirt she could. Like Karzon guessed she was now pissed off. But Karzon stood there and waited for her, so she could see again. Once she blinked out most of the dirt out of her eyes. She then starting running towards Karzon. This was his chance to lead her away from the tree.

Karzon turn and ran with all his might, Serria was gaining on him and he felt kind of foolish from running from her like this but if this had to be the way of turning her back normal then he'd have to live with it for a while. But as he got closer to the end of the platform he looked around for Tenameru. Where had he gone off to. Karzon then started running even faster as he jumped off the side of the platform. He closed his eyes and disappeared.

Serria bearly stopped in time as she looked around for Karzon. Karzon then reappeared behind her. But before he could do anything Tenameru jumped out in front of him and both Tenameru and Serria were falling off the cliff.

"YOU FOOL!!" Karzon yelled as he looked over the cliff to see the two of them falling in to the darkness. Karzon punched the ground then he turned back and looked at Link who was pulling the sword from the tree. Karzon then started running back towards link and the girls were making their way towards them. "HE!!! He jumped over the side with that...with Serria!"

"I know I saw..." Link said as he finally yanked the sword from the tree and the glowing power was stronger then it ever was before. Link looked at the sword. What was it that he had to do? What could he do not to stop Serria and Tenameru from dying? Then like the breeze the answer came to his mind and he gripped the handle of the sword tightly as he held it out. "All of you touch the master sword!"

"I'm not going to ask why," Mika said as she reached out and touched the blade of the sword. Link though, the teamwork symbol on the master sword started to glow and he felt a stronger power in his hand. Malon then reached out and touched it to. Karzon, he took a deep breath and hopped that this would save Tenameru. He touched the blade as well. Link waited for something to happen but nothing did they did not have enough power. Then He looked up at Navi who was in back in her little ball form.

"You to navi!" Link said and with out a second though Navi landed on the sword. Then the rush of energy flew threw all of their bodies and a strong wind started blowing against them. They had to use more then all the power they held to keep from falling backwards.

"Save....Tenameru...and Free the sprit of the forest!" Link managed to get out. Then the master sword shot forward and Link fell flat on his face as the sword shot out of his hand and down the cliff after Serria and Tenameru. The wind then stopped and Karzon Helped link back up to his feet.

"Lets hope that works..." Malon said and all the could do was stand there and wait.

"YOUR crazy!? Your going to kills us both!" Serria yelled as Tenameru hand a tight grip on her shoulders as they kept falling and falling. Tenameru then smiled.

"Not Crazy, just doing what I have to, to keep the others alive! Whats one life compared to four or five others!" Tenameru said, Nikki would be proud of him for doing this. Freaked out and call him crazy like everyone else. But she would be proud of him. And thats all that really mattered to him right now. Karzon had gotten him memory back of his child hood. The group would soon have all the pieces of the staff of Healing. He had done what he was called to Hyrule for and this was the finishing touch.

"Once we hit the bottom were both going to die! And guess what you fool! That stupid Nikki girl is still alive! Lets see how she's going to react when she finds out your dead. She was in a hurry to come and find you. I guess she never will," Serria said, she was going to say anything to keep herself alive. She wished that statement had worked. Tenamerus eyes widened but he did not lose his grip. If he left go of Serria she would be able to fly while he still feel.

"I saw her die! You snapped her neck!" Tenameru said.

"She tricked us! You think you'd know her the best out of us all! She ran off the castle grounds looking for you. So your going to kill yourself just to make sure I die?" Serria said and Tenameru then smiled softly.

"Thank you, now if I die, I'll die knowing My Nikki is still alive!" Tenameru yelled he could not be more happy at the moment. It was odd to be happy when you were falling to your death but thats the only thing he needed to hear. That Nikki would be all right, and she had managed to trick yet another person. Though it would have been nice to see her once more before he died but he's have to live with it this way.

Tenameru closed his eyes as he felt the master sword coming towards them. He turned his head and there it was shooting towards them. He then looked back at Serria. The sword had to hit her heart, but it could not do that if he was in front of it. But like the tough before if he even loosened his grip Serria could easy get out of the way.

Tenameru then shook his head. He could not second think this, he had volunteered and now he was going to pull threw for everyone. The sword was just going to have to cut threw him to get to Serria. There was no other way.

The master sword was now right up to Tenamerus shit, it burned threw it and then Tenameru felt the hot iron of the sword starting to perice threw his skin. The pain was enormous but there was no backing out now the sword was going deeper and deeper into his back. Soon it would be coming out threw his chest and into Serria's heart.

Tenameru tried not to let anything show that he was going threw and extreme amount of pain but he could not help it. Then he felt the sword slice threw his chest. He was now breathing heavily and Serria's eyes widened. All this, why was he doing all this. Then the master sword, was starting to go threw Serria's chest and towards her heart.

Serria wad not going threw any pain as the sword cut threw her chest. It was a good feeling one she had not felt in a long time. She closed her eyes and the master sword finally cut it's way into Serria's heart. Evil Serria let out one last final scream and the two of them were then engulfed into a green light.

"Oh my god! Do you hear that?" Malon gasped as she hear the scream of Serria. She ran over to the side of the platform and looked over it. She could not see anything from where she was sitting. She then turned back and looked at the others as they walked over to her. "I hope they are all right!"

"Karzon hugged Malon as she bit down on her lip hoping and praying that everyone would be all right. Then A Green light shot up threw the whole and part of the staff of healing fell from the air and landed in Mika's hand. She then smiled and started laughing.

"WE DID IT!" She yelled and Link took out the staff of Healing and the two pieces formed together to make one giant piece. Then the voice of the goddess ran threw their ears.

"You did well, now the place you need to go now is some place high, and very hot, there you shall find the last part of the staff," She said as the green light started to shine brighter and then Serria appeared in the middle of the Light, one of her arms around Tenameru and the other holding the Master sword. She steeped out of the light and then stepped on the ground.

"Serria! Tenameru!" Link said, but he was very quick to notice that Serria was not in her little kind form. She was still tall with her long green hair. But she was deffanity good. Tenameru smiled at the group as he was still bleeding from where he wad been cut threw by the master sword.

"Thank you, all of you," Serria said "And a special thanks to you Brave Tenameru, you would not give up until it was finished. I think you from the bottom of my heart."

"No sweat," Tenameru said as he knelt down on the ground. He was feeling a little light headed at the moment.

"SERRIA!"

"Mido!" Serria yelled as Mido ran past the others and hugged Serria. The two then started crying not only was Serria an adult now but so was mido. "That was something I never want to do again!"

"I can agree with that," Mido said as he then looked at Link. He bent down next to Tenameru and gave him a hug. Tenameru was a little bit shocked. But mido was thanking him for turning them back good. Both Serria and Mido were still going to have to live knowing that they killed all those people. But there were going to work to make things right again.

Mido then got up and hugged, Karzon, Malon and Mika. He was about to hug Navi but then just patted her head so he would not kill the poor little Thing. Mido then turned and looked at Link. Link smiled stupidly, Mido was taller then he was now. He was now starting to wish he had not taking advantage of his high to Mido when he first went back to the forest.

"Thank you link," Mido said and Link fell back wards in shock. The group gasped but Karzon and Mido just started laughing. Serria then walked over and helped Link up. Link then smiled a little again and Mido patted him on the shoulder. "Were cool now Link, thanks for turning us back....simi-normal."
