Chapter nine: ~*~Tenameru and Nikki~*~

Navi sat up rubbing her head. What a major black out she had. She was still in her human form and she head Dampee floating above or near her. Navi then opened her eyes and looked around to see what could have caused her to black out like that.

"We made it!" Malon cried as she hugged the little fairy girl. Navi gasped in surprise, it was Mika how knocked her out of the way when she skid under the door. Mika was wiping the sweat off her face when she looked up and smiled at Navi. The cuffs had disappeared once the timer reached zero. Malon then let go of Navi and she ran over an hugged Mika. The two girls started jumping around happily. Navi then stood up and did another back flip turning back into her little ball form. She flew over to them and started nuzzling up against them.

"Sence you made it in the time giving, my prize will now become yours," Dampee said as he disappeared and the hook shot appeared on a stand in the middle of the room. Then another door started to open, their way out. Malon ran over and picked up the hook shot. Once she saw Karzon again he was going to get a big kiss.

"We got it! We got it!" Malon cried happy as she ran back over to Mika and Navi and they started to walk out of this place. As they walked threw the door, this hall way was all lit by blue flamed torches. It was a cooling feeling, from going to extremely hot to now nice and cool.

They were now walking on an up wards slope, the further they got in the tunnel they started to hear a soft odd music. as they walked on it got louder and louder. The two girls were not completely sick of hearing things soft at first and they slowly got louder. It made their ears want to bleed.

They then reached upon a door with the Triforce on it. Malon out all her weight on the door and pushed it opened. The music was now extremely loud it sounded like some kind of fair was going on in this building. Then in snapped in Malons mind where they were. They were in the windmill!

"What horrid music!" Mika yapped as she put her hands over her ears. they took a step into the windmill and the door shut on it's own.

"Hey LOOK!" Navi yelled as a familiar figure was standing on one part of the windmill that was spinning slowly in a leftward motion. (Okay you know in the game OoT the one part of the windmill you stand on to jump to get the piece of heart, where thats were the person is standing, going around and around in a circle, hope you know what I'm talking about)

Malon smiled as she sniffed back her tears. Mika just put on her biggest, warmest happiest smile she could summon at the moment. Link loved at them with a bright smile as well. He lifted his arm to wave at them but then winced in pain for his shoulder was still in pain.

"LINK!" Malon cried as she ran and jumped off the plat form she was standing on to the one that was moving around that currently had link standing on it. She flung her arms around him and hugged him tightly like it was her last day to live.

"I'm happy to see you as well," Link said as he patted her back. As the platform made another complete turn Mika jumped on it and Navi flew over to Link. Link patted her head and then she flew in her hat where she had been longing to go in ever sence the race started.

Link then Jumped down off the moving Platform and helped Malon down first then Mika. The three of them linked arms with one another and walked out of the windmill. The girls were both wiped out and Link could sence it. He hoped that the ride back to the forest would give them some time to get some of their strength back. As they headed for the exit of the Village, Dark Link stood on the top of the windmill with his most hated look on his face.

How much he was yearning to kill them. Why was it so hard for them to kill these brats? But he had not time to waits here. They would be crushed and weaken even more if they found out about the Sudan death of their Shika friend. And maybe even more weak if they found him in pices.

"You remember me?" Tenameru asked and Karzon nodded his head. Karzons head had never felt better, it was like his life long headache was now gone. He could think more clearly and people and places started to fall back in place where they were spouse to be.

"You, you were my child hood hero, we met with Ganon and he put something in my head. But, it's gone now," Karzon said and Tenameru bent down next to him again. Tenameru could not be more happier that Karzon remember him and there was a lot of things he wanted to tell and say to Karzon but now what not the time. There were still to dangers in this room, though there were still way to stupid to pose a threat to him. If they had half a brain they would have at least tried to attack him already.

Tenameru got back up to his feet, they still had to pay, pay for what they had done to Karzon already. He was a mess, blood all over him cuts and scrapes. Tenamerus eyes then widened in horror a girl shot into his vision. A girl with her brown hair pulled up into a ponytail, with sharp green eyes wearing a white dress and a blue cape.

"Nikki...?" Tenameru said and the tone had changed in his voice from strong and brave to worried. He turned towards Serria and Mido. They had not moved an inch sence he last looked at them. Karzon was now confused again.

"Who's Nikki?" Karzon said, even though he did get his memories back he never remember any Nikki or seeing a Nikki before. But Tenameru did not turn and look at him, he stood still staring at Serria and Mido. There was a odd feeling growing in Tenamerus stomach that Nikki was in trouble, she needed him. But he did not know where she was. He cursed himself for not taking Nikki with him when he left for Hyrule on Taffs orders.

Tenameru then took a step backwards. He had to get Karzon out of here, give Link the hero of time the part of the staff and find Nikki. Anything could have happened to her in the time he was away. And if anything bad happened to Nikki he would never forgive himself. He made a promise to her, and he could not live if he ever broke that promise to her.

He then finally turned back around and took hold of Karzon's hands. He had to get him out of here and fast. The feeling was still burning in his stomach about Nikki. Tenameru pulled Karzon to his feet once again and finally Serria and Mido moved towards him.

But they stopped in their tracks as a vilent black mist explode in the room. Dark Link appeared in the middle of the black mist looking more pissed off then ever before. He then brought his arm up and brushed off his sleeve.

"Great just want we needed, Dark Link," Karzon spat at Dark Link which pissed him off even more. The black mist around him disappeared. Then a wave shot threw both Tenameru and Karzon. It pushed the two men back and almost knocked them off their feet. Tenameru then frowned, he knew Dark Link had just read their minds. How deep he had read was un sure, but what ever he read could do damage. Karzon and Tenameru frowned even depper as Dark Link smiled. What ever he found out was not good for them.

"So thats why your in a hurry to get out of her Tenameru, Have a girl waiting for you at the Hyrule castle. She's crying did you know, in a lot of pain. I'm sure your really worried about Nikki," Dark Link said, Karzon let go of Tenameru, Dark link was pushing his buttons and he knew it. This soon was going to turn in to a battle between Tenameru and Dark Link.

"You lay a hand on her I swear-" Tenameru was cut off by the evil laughter from Dark Link. Dark Link then started clapping his hands like Tenameru had been putting on a show for him. Karzon really did not know what he could do to help, but he knew Dark Link was not playing even though he really appeared to be.

"And you'll do what to me? Serria and Mido, leave here and go to the Hyrule castle grounds. There you'll find a girl, go have `fun' with her," Dark Link said as he crossed his arms once more. Serria walked up to Dark Link and gave him a puzzled look. She then looked back at the two Shika men.

"But we did nothing here yet," Serria said and Dark Links eyes narrowed.

"I know you did nothing! That why I want you to go to the Hyrule castle where you will be more useful to me! Now go!" Dark Link snapped curly. He was not in any kind of mood to mess with Serria or Mido. Serria then stepped back from dark Link and walked over to Mido. The two of them stood together then disappeared.

Karzon shut his eyes and prayed for the girl those two wackos were going after. But he also felt he should pray for her safely because she was a friend to Tenameru. She had to be or Tenameru would not have gotten so angry about it.

"Now, where were we, on yes. Your pretty little friend Tenameru, do you want to watch her be ripped appart or shall you wait tell my two friends come back with her?" Dark Link said and Tenameru chilled down a little. It was not to smart to lose his head and let Dark Link win like this. Nikki was not young any more. She could fight quite well, but what worried him the most was how and why she was at the castle. And why she would be crying.

But the only way to get to Nikki was to get threw Dark Link first. Dark Links smile left his face again as he saw Tenameru was cooling down. He was really starting to extremely hate the Shika people. Dark Link snapped his hand behind his back and his sword appeared in his hand. There was more then one way to skin a cat.

"Nikki is a very strong person, maybe if you would have read my mind deeper you would have found that out. Your two stupid henchmen wont be able to win against Nikki," Tenameru said with quite a bit of confidence in his voice. Karzon on the other hand, did not know Nikki at all and really did not think she could do a number on the two psychopaths.

"We'll just have to see about that wont we?" Dark Link said as he threw his sword at Tenameru. They blade went flying threw the air and shot past Tenamerus face. Blood splashed down on the ground as the sword flew into the wall.

Karzon's eyes shot from the sword to Tenameru, he was perfectly fine, but if it was not his blood...Karzon the looked over at Dark Link, His left side had been cut opened and a deep red color blood started dripping out of his side. What had happened? It happened so fast Karzon did not even get a glimpse of Tenamerus movements. Karzon then blinked a few more times before rubbing his eyes.

Dark Link popped his neck to the side then the sword pulled it's self free from the wall and shot towards Tenameru once again. This time Karzon was going to make sure he saw everything that was going on. Tenameru black flipped over the sword as it now shot towards Dark Link. Dark Link threw his right arm up and grabbed the handle of the blade. He was hardly impressed by Tenamerus feeble attempts.

"Congratulations Shika, you past Level one. But just so you know, even Princess Zelda made it past level one," Dark Link said as he put the sword away. Tenameru was not also impressed with Dark Link. He could have made one thousand different come backs to Dark Links comment, but this was not going to be a fight with words.

Tenameru narrowed his eyes almost to a complete shut as Dark Link charged at him again. Tenameru swung his left arm down slowly and then smashed his right hand into Dark Links forehead sending him backwards again. Tenameru then brought out his own sword and spun it around before stopping it. This set off Dark Link.

Dark Link ran towards Tenameru and as the Shika swung his sword Dark Link grabbed it with his hand sending out more oozing deep red blood. A minor set back for Tenameru he kicked his leg up into Dark links Stomach. Dark Link flew threw the air and smashed into the wall furthest form Tenameru.

Tenameru turned to his side then threw his sword at Dark Link. The sword going an incredible speed picered threw Dark Links shoulder pinning him to the wall. Dark Link growled low, this Shika was mearly showing off, he was going to wipe that smirk off Tenamerus face. Dark Link grabbed the sword and pulled it out of his shoulder.

His feet touched the ground again and he threw the sword at Tenamerus feet. Dark Link clapped his hands together and he disappeared into a black mist. Tenameru looked around, but with a second though he turned towards Karzon. He knew Dark Link was still in this room. there was no way he was going to give up that easily.

Then a massive explosions erupted in the room. Karzon was blown off his feet and Tenameru barley managed to hang on this time. Dark Link flipped threw the air and slammed his feet down on Tenamerus chest, finally managing to get the Shika off his feet. Tenameru hit the ground and rolled over once. Once he stooped moving he kicked his feet up then pushed himself back up.

Dark Link was quick to act, not wanting to lose his moment to attack. Dark Link Brought his hand backwards then back hand slapped Tenameru across his face. Tenameru fell towards the ground again, but he gained control again and lasted his leg out knocking dark Link off his feet.

The two guys flipped away from one another, Tenameru then touched his lip, his own blood was now starting to tickle down and out of his mouth. He spit out some blood before wiping his face. Dark Link then smiled, he then clapped his hands again and disappeared in to the mist.

Tenameru walked away from the place he was standing and kept a sharp eye out for Dark Link. Then with a sharp painful feeling Tenameru turned around grabbing Dark Links arm. Dark Link then waked Tenameru in the nose with his elbow with enough force to get the Shika off him. He then punched Tenameru in his chest knocking all the wind out of him. Tenameru gasped for air as Dark Link shot behind Tenameru grabbing him by the Neck, putting him into what appeared to be a fatal headlock.

"The funs over with Tenameru! You proved to be a worthy fight apponet, but my pacents have ran out with you and your little friend over there," Dark Link said as he tightened his hold on Tenameru as he tried to brake free from the hold. "It's time Shika-"

"Think again!" Karzon yelled as a silver object flew from Karzons hand and went threw Dark links right arm first then threw his chest and out threw his left arm. Dark Link froze as Karzons staff was now stuck in Dark Link. Tenameru then smacked Dark Link off him.

Dark Link stumbled backwards, Karzon closed his hand and the staff disappeared but Dark Link still had the wound. He fell backwards on the ground and Tenameru smiled up at Karzon. He still had the fighting sprit in him. Tenameru then let out a breath of air rubbing his neck which had almost been broken.

"Thanks," Tenameru said as the floor started to be filled with Dark Links blood.

"It's not over yet," Karzon said as he wiped his forehead, that had taken way to much engerey out of him. And he had been right, after a moment of being down Dark Link started to crawl back to his feet. This shocked Tenameru, That blow Karzon had gave him nearly cut him in half. And he still managed to live from all that.

Tenameru then ran towards Dark Link and kicked his as hard as he could in his forehead sending him backwards on the ground again. Tenameru let out all his steam then walked back over to Karzon. Now was the time they had to get out of here.

"Come on, lets go before he decides he wants to get back up," Tenameru said as he bent over and picked up his sword. The two of them then started to jog away from Dark Link who laid still on the floor. Dark Links eyes flashed a violent shade of red as he then slowly sat up. He was going to hurt Tenameru if it was the last thing he did.

Nikki sat up against the tree half asleep half awake. She was starting to feel a little better. But she wanted to get away from this castle as soon as she could. As she took in the cold air it gave her a soothing relaxing feeling. It made her think of Tenameru, and where he had went a few days before she arrived in Hyrule. She told Tenameru she would never come to Hyrule again with out him right by her side, but Taffs orders disagreed with that. She was forced to come back here on her own and she was scared Sick.

Nikki shook her head, Tenameru would understand, they could not disobey Taff, there was no other way, she could not wait for him to come back. She was worried about him and really hoped he was all right. She wanted to know why he had left her.

She felt another tear fall down her cheek. right when she though the water works had stopped they turned on again. But this time she managed to sniff up her tears. Tenameru were never leave her on perpouse would he? There must have been a reason why he left with out a note or a kiss good-bye. He ran off when she was sleeping. It had been almost a week sence she last saw him.

Nikki slammed her hand on the ground and bit her toung. What if he was hurt? She cared more about Tenameru then any stupid staff of healing, any stupid hero or his damned princess. He could be hurt somewhere and she was stuck in the place she rather not be.

With all the strength she had she stood up. She was going to leave Hyrule and if she did not see the Hero on her way out then that would be to bad for him. He would have to come look for her to get the other part of the staff. She needed to be with the only person who cared for her, not getting sick for a Princess who was dying. Let her die there would be no sweat off Nikki's shoulders.

She then got back on to the dirt path that headed for the castle town. She should really just have left the part of the staff with that spoiled princess and her soon to be dead father. But her orders were to give it to Link, Taff never said how long it would take to find this hero. She did not even know what Link looked like. All she knew was his name and that he was a Hero.

What a Hero to save such a horrid place like Hyrule. Nikki simply would have let Ganon take over the damn place. And if Ganon tried to take any other Kingdom, that would be a different story. But why did Ganon even want Hyrule? But that was obvious it was horrid like he was. There were sick demented people wondering around Hyrule. Like the King.

Nikki reached the gate again and leaned on it for support. The two guards turned and looked at Her. Nikki looked like she was drunk the way she was leaning on the gate and how her was half a sleep. The guards the turned and looked at one another and nodded their heads.

"Well what are you waiting for? I don't have all night you know," Nikki said and then one of the guard reached out and grabbed Nikki around her neck and pulled her against the gate. Nikki hit her head and was now all wake. "What the hell?"

"Sorry girlie," Mido said as he pulled off his helmet like Nikki would know who he was. It really would not have made a different if he kept the Helmet on or not. Then the person who had a hold on Nikki's neck pulled off their helmet. Serria smiled at Nikki.

"We have orders to kill you, and I'm not about to let our boss down again," Serria said and Nikki reached into her bag.

"Who sent you the king? Damn bastered should have know he would figure out who I was," Nikki said with some suff in her vice. It was getting hard to breath with this woman's hand around her neck. Mido then laughed out loud and leaned on the gate as well looking at Nikki.

"The King? King Ganon in words, not the guy who lives in this place. Dark Link wants you dead, so dead your going to be, Finnish her off Serria," Mido said they were finally going to do something that would please Dark Link. Nikki frowned. Why would Ganon want her dead? Maybe because she was carrying around the part of the staff of healing. But she did not have much time to think about that her problem was right in front of her.

Serria started to squeeze harder on Nikkis neck then with in a second there was a loud and earrie -Snap~

Tenameru and Karzon were making their way threw the tunnels trying to find a way out saying they could not climb up the way the monster came down with Karzon and they could not go back the way Tenameru had came because that was where Dark Link was, or where they left .

The two guys hardly said a word to one another both of their minds were somewhere else. On a girl. Tenameru was running his fingers along the wall as they walked threw the tunnels. With something hit him, just like his last vision he had, Nikki appeared before him.

She was walking down a dirt path away from a castle and towards a gate. She was stopped when one of the guards grabbed her neck. The guards then appeared to be Serria and Mido. Then there was a snap, Serria had broke Nikki's neck, Tenamerus eyes widened as he watch Nikki fall...and fall until she hit the ground, to what it looked like, she was dead. The Vision left Tenamerus eyes and Karzon took a quick notice that something was very wrong. (Note to reader:: Tenameru always sees everything bad that happens to Nikki, for more information on that you can read the story `The Open window' by Kendal_Chan)

"No...Nikki..." Tenameru said as he then grabbed on to the wall for all the support he could get. Karzon walked over to him and put a friendly hand on Tenamerus shoulder. Tenameru was shaken like he had just seen his worst fear some true.

"Tenameru, whats wrong? Your going pale, please tell me whats going on," Karzon said as he put his hand on Tenameru's forehead. He was not getting a fever, but like Karzon pointed out Tenameru was going very much pale.

"They....they killed her..." Tenameru said as he started sinking to the floor. This was bad. Karzon bent down next to his friend, the death of this girl had hit Tenameru strong and hard. and Karzon then finally realized that this girl was more to Tenameru then just a really good friend.

"Are you sure?" Karzon asked still not knowing how Tenameru could have possible seen Nikki die. But everything that Karzon had seen so far he was not about to say that Tenameru had not seen the death of his female friend.

"DAMN THEM!" Tenameru screamed which took Karzon completely by surprise. Tenameru then jumped to his feet and took out the part of the staff of Healing he was given to give to Link. He then threw the part of the staff, the piece hit the wall and bounced back to Tenameru. "Why did I not tell her?"

"Tenameru! Your loosing it," Karzon said as he pulled Tenameru back down to the ground. Tenameru then bent down and his forehead touched the ground. Tears started to swell up in his eyes and the though of Nikki being dead was clouding every though in his mind. Karzon the started patting Tenamerus back, there was no much else he could.

Tenameru then looked up from the ground and looked at Karzon. Some who Karzon reminded him a lot of Nikki. They both had the same dark brown hair, that was pulled back in a pony tail and the same jade green eyes. the only difference was that Karzons skin tone was darker then Nikkis was.

"Karzon, learn a lesson from a fool, never ever keep secrets from the person you love..." Tenameru said as he then remember Taff telling him that he had to go to Hyrule to find Link, but he must not tell Nikki where he was going. So He left her when she was taking a nap and left for Hyrule over a week ago. If he would have know she would have came to Hyrule looking for him (or so he though) he never would have left her. Why did he leave her in the first place?

"Tenameru your not a fool, Nikki might not be dead, like you said she's strong right? There's no way Serria and Mido could have gotten the best of her. where did you see her die?" Karzon said and Tenameru closed his eyes as the tears streamed down his face. How could he ever forget that vision.

"At the gates of the Hyrule castle, " Tenameru said softly as he then hugged himself.

"Well I can take you there once we get out of here, and I bet you that your Nikki is as safe as we are. It might have been a trick or something, but will never know if you stay huddled in the cave for the rest of your life," Karzon said and Tenameru nodded his head. He would be of now help if he stayed here. At lest if he left he could either give Nikki a proper burial or be greeted by her lovely smile.

"Karzon....thanks...again," Tenameru said as Karzon helped him back to his feet. Tenameru then kicked the staff of healing up in the air and grabbed it. He then handed it to Karzon. That was the thing that made him leave his Nikki while she was sleeping, he wanted not thing to do with the staff any more.

"No problem, what a friends for any ways?" Karzon said as they both started to head threw the tunnels. Karzon was just glad that he had managed to get Tenameru back on his feet again. This girl Nikki was much more importune to Tenameru then Karzon could have ever imagined. How her death took that huge of a toll on his life. He completely broke down. Karzon closed his eyes as they finally reached the end of the tunnel.

"KARZON!" Karzon froze as the familiar voice rang in his ear, he turned to the side as he heart gave a great leap. Malon was waving to him on the other side of the big whole. He was now where he was before that thing dragged him down to Dark link, Mido and Serria. But on the other side of course. "Guys he's all right!" Malon yelled as she ran over to Mika, link and Navi.

"Good to see you again Karzon!" Mika yelled as they pulled out the hook shot. Sence they went threw all the trouble to get it, they were going to use it. Karzon grabbed Tenamerus should from keeping him from walking away. Tenameru was not really in the right frame of mind to be wondering around on his own right now.

"Good to see you guys as well," Karzon said softly and only Tenameru heard him. Tenameru looked at the three people that were getting ready to jump or what ever they were going to do to get over the big gap. He hoped that one of them was the hero of time.

Serria and Mido looked down at girl whom they just killed. That had been really fast simple and what not. That really took the fun out of killing people. Serria looked over at Mido then crossed her arms, there was no crying for her live no begging. She sighed.

"That was way to easy," Serria said as the rest of the guards armor feel off and she was back in her normal out fit. Mido then turned back into his normal out fit as well. He did tell Serria to Finnish her off, they were just a little to worries about making Dark Link mad again they forgot to make this some what enjoy able as well.

"Your telling me!" Before the two could react the two of them fell back wards on the ground. Their eyes widened as they saw Nikki standing up and smiling. "I tricked the impossible again!"

"WHAT! But I broke your neck!" Serria yelled and Nikki pulled out something from her bag. It was a broken stick. Nikki tossed the sick at Serria and Mido and held her smile. She was pleased at the performance she just gave. Tenameru would have been pleased to see it.

"I knew I should have joined the moving theater but I chose to stay with my Tena-chan in stead. Now if you two morons don't mind I need to find my Tenameru," Nikki said as she hit the latch and the gate started to open.

"Oh Tenameru, that Blue hair Shika that Dark Link is fighting at this moment," Serria said as she got to her feet. She was now going to kill this little brat once and for all. But Nikki froze, was Tenameru in Hyrule? If he was what was he doing here? But that would sure save all her troubles if he was here.

"You've seen Tenameru? Where is he?" Nikki asked as she took off her cape and shoved it in her bag. Something told her that these two were still going to try and kill her. But that was no big, she was sure she could take the two of them out, maybe not all at once but they did not seam to strong, or even really all that smart.

"He's about to be killed once Dark Link is threw with him," Mido said and Nikki frowned, Dark Link, Link? How many links were running around this place? Nikki crossed her arms, there was no way her Tena-chan could be kill, or kill so easy. She had more then faith in him. She put her life in his hands so many times. They had done so much together. She was not really worried about him being killed, because that was almost close to impossible. He was a very powerful warrior.

"Well are we going to stand around talking all night, or are you going to let me pass?" Nikki asked and Mido now got up to his feet. His ax appeared in his hand and Nikki squinted to see if she was seeing right. This was going to be more interesting then she imagined.

"Maybe in pieces pretty little lady," Mido said and Nikki rubbed her eyes. What was with all these corny little pet names? They were really getting on her last nervs.

"Fine have it your way," Nikki said as she dug threw her bag again and pulled out a rope. It did not look like much help but it was going to help her plenty. She then tossed her bag to the side wishing she could change but she could not say to them `pardon me but I have to go change I'll be right back okay?'. Nikki took her rope and tied a loop at the end. It might prove to be useful. "Well are you going to attack me or am I going to have to make the first dame move? Please I really don't have all night to play."

"Did not know little girls were so egger to die," Nikki got a sweat bead on her forehead, what was with all them calling her little girl? did it make them fell more powerful. And any other `little girl' would have ran back to the castle. Nikki on the other hand had better things to do then to mess around. (Nikki is not scared of them cause she has no idea who she is and how powerful they are -spoused to be-)

Mido then brought his Ax up and charged at Nikki. Nikki Jumped in the air and landed on Midos head with her left foot. She brought her right foot backwards and kicked him in the back of his head. Nikki then did a nice little flip off him as he fell on the ground. Nikki then walked over and pulled the lever down closing the gate once again tapping Mido on the other side.

Then with a split second though Nikki turned sideways grabbing Serria's hand right as she was about to hit Nikki. Serria looked shocked, she was. How did this girl know she was about to do away with her and her quick and suden movements.

"How did you-"

"I learned from Tena-chan, you know him, now if I can stop you what makes you think my Tenameru is going to die but some stupid sap named Dark Link?" Nikki asked as she then punched Serria in her face Nikki then looked back at Mido and he had disappeared. An invisibility attack, being invisible was a cheep way to win. But Tenameru and tough her how to detect a person who had turn invisible.

Nikki looked around and Serria was now gone as well. A flash of light shot past Nikkis eyes and she instantly threw her rope up in the air. It hooked on to the bird statue that was on the top of the gate. She then kicked her feet up in the air, she fliped over and her feet landed on the gate as there was a loud `Thud' with the cursing of two people. Serria and Mido and reappeared. They had slammed into one another when Nikki and flipped up on her rope.

"You got to do better then this if you want to kill me," Nikki said as she flipped back over and landed on the ground. She then pulled her rope lose and started walking on the dirt path. She was about to pick up her bag when another flash of light went across her eyes. As she went to turn around something sliced across her face and the force made her fly backwards into the tree that stood alone on the dirt path.

Mido then ran towards Nikki again but before he got to her something fell from the tree and hit him on his head. He fell backwards on the ground as a golden Skulltula scattered away and then back up the tree. Nikki laughed but then stooped abruptly as she tasted her blood running down her cheek. Nikki touched her face, Tenameru was going to flip when he saw this.

Nikki got back up to her feet and threw her rope back in the air. This time she got it wrapped around one of the branches. Then she tied the other end of the rope around her waist and climbed up into the tree. At this Point, Serria got up and rubbed her face. If it was not one thing it was another. She looked over at Mido was who now getting up as well.

"She went up in the tree!" Mido yelled over at Serria. Serria stood up and started dusting off her clothes. She then stormed over to Mido and slapped his head. Mido grouned as Serria pulled him back to his feet.

"What are you waiting for! Go up there and get her!" Serria yelled as she smacked him on the back of the head once more. He mocked her quietly as he looked up in the tree. He took a step towards the tree and thats as far as he got when Nikki came flying out of the tree. Nikki swung backwards first then she slammed right into Mido making him fly backwards and on to the ground again. Nikki smiled and Serria's head almost exploded in anger. What was it with this day, they could not kill any one and it was driving her nuts!

"Give me that!" Serria yelled at Mido as she picked up his ax, then she flung it cutting Nikki's rope in half. Nikki yelped as she then fell down and hit the ground. Nikki quickly untied her self and got back up to her taking her back up with her.

"Ouch!" Nikki said as she rubbed her butt, that had not been fun. But she should have guessed they were going to cut down her rope. But Serria was not playing around any more and she started a full charge after Nikki. Nikki gasped then speed off back towards the gate. Serria was right on her tail. Nikki spotted the door that was hanging opened, she took the chance and ran into it. She then grabbed hold of the door handle and slammed it shut. The second the door shut Nikki looked for a way out. She spotted the latter and smiled. She could climb up. As her foot touched the latter there was a loud crashing sound. Serria must have ran into the closed door.

But this time Nikki did not take the time to stop and laugh, this woman was on a rampage. So she grabbed onto the latter and started climbing up it as fast as she could. Half way up Nikki heard another crashing sound. The sound doors make when they are pulled off their hinges and thrown up against a wall. Nikki then speed up the latter as fast as she could.

Right as Nikki jumped out of the little hole, a massive fire ball shot out of it and headed towards the sky. This was when all the fun was drained out of this fight and it really got serious. Nikki then ran off the bridge and jumped into the grass as Serria flew out of the hole breathing like a bull. A third flash of light shot by Nikkis eyes right before she was tackled to the ground by Mido.

"I got her Serria, just like you said I would!" Mido said and Nikki frowned. This was not to good for her. She tried to get up but Mido was just to heavy. She could not even turn around to give him a good whack in his face. Serria then touched the ground and walked over to Nikki. Serria put her foot on Nikki's head and pushed her face into the dirt.

Nikki gasped for a breath when Serria lifted her foot. she had to think of something quick, something that would make her arm longer so she could hit mido. That was it! Serria then pressed her face down in the dirt, this was a perfect time. Serria was to busy pressing her face in the dirt and Mido was to busy enjoying the show that they did not see Nikki's hand sliped back in her bag.

Then as she pushed things around in her bag she finally gripped a solid metal object. She ripped it out of her bag and brought her arm skyward nailing mido in his eye. Mido screamed in pain and then he fell sideways off Nikki. Nikki then brought her arm forward slamming the object on to Serria's leg. Serria yelled in pain as Nikki lifted her face out of the ground.

Though she much enjoyed her face out of the dirt she could not waist another moment. She went after Serria first because she seamed to be the strongest and the smartest out of the two of them. She pulled her arm back as far as she could and then brought it forward and the metal object hit Serria's forehead. She flew to the side and fell off the platform where they were standing.

Then before Mido could do anything Smart Nikki ran towards him and cracked the metal object across Midos face as well. He rolled on the ground over to the side of the plat form and stopped. Nikki then walked over to him and then wiped some of the dirt off her face.

"Now you can go join your `little girlfriend'," Nikki said as she spat out some dirt and blood then gave Mido one swift kick and he fell of the side. Nikki leaned over and looked down at Serria and Mido, she had successfully knocked the two of them out. She knew she had not killed them. She was not really aiming to kill them either.

Nikki looked at the object that was in her hand, it was the part of the staff of healing she was spouse to give to Link. She smiled then kissed the staff. It had saved her life. Nikki then walked over to her bag and picked it up. That was one thing she did not wish to repeat. She walked over to the opposite side of the platform and jumped off. She landed on her feet and then she started to run away from here. When those two woke up they would be after her faster then they were before.

Nikki reached the Hyrule castle town and found her way over to the bridge. She cursed her luck, now she had to find a way for them to open this up. She turned to her left and saw a door. That must be where they open the gate.

She walked over to the door and pulled it open only to run into a guard. The guard pushed her backwards, Nikki gripped the part of the staff then whacked the guard with it. He fell side ways and she gasped! What was she doing, she was just so jumpy from her fight she took some of her anger out on this poor guy. Nikki Bent down and removed the helmet of the guard.

"BOO!" Dark Link yelled and Nikki jumped backwards her heart racing a million beats per second. this is why Nikki was so damn jumpy. Dark Link jumped to his feet and started laughing. Nikki gripped the part of the staff tighter.

"Who are you?" Nikki asked "Let me guess your with those two nut cases who tried to kill me? What is it, dress like guards day or something?"

"I'm Dark Link, and I should have guessed those two could not kill you!" Dark Link said as his eyes flared more red then they already were. It was like his eyes were on fire. Nikkis eyes widened, Dark Link. Thats who those two said Tenameru was fighting. And if Dark Link was standing in front of her, with out a mark on him that meat one or two things.

One was that Tenameru had been killed by this guy and had not even hurt him. Or Two Tenameru never fought this guy and the others were just making up some stupid story to make her weaker and brake down at the though of her Tena-chan being dead or almost dead to the hands of this prick. She went with Guess number two. But she had to make sure, evil people liked to brag about the people they killed, she ran into a lot of murders in her life time. She knew how they acted.

"So you finished off Tenameru huh?" Nikki asked, she never though she would say those words in that order in sentence but she did. Then the way dark Link looked at her made her smile. Tenameru had been the victor in their little fight they had.

"Tenameru, You know Nikki he thinks your dead," Dark Link said as he walked closer to Nikki. Nikki was now backed up against the closed gate. As her back hit the gate she looked up. there was a gap of an opening just big enough for someone to fit threw. That was the only way out that she saw.

"Why would he think I'm dead?" Nikki asked trying to distract him so she could figure out a way to get up there. Dark Link then walked closer to her. He was getting way to close for comfort and she had to find a way to get out of here before he caught on to what she was doing.

"Lets put it this way Nikki, when you faked your own little death with the snapping of your neck. He saw that. So even if he and that little Karzon managed to get out they wont make it here on time to save you. Then he will really find you dead, but not in the way he though he'd find you." Dark Link said as he grabbed Nikki's shoulders and pressing them against the gate. Pain was shooting threw her back and it felt like she was going to brake threw the bridge.

"Well if you did not kill Tena then you sure the hell are not going to kill me! Because I intend on seeing him again!" Nikki yelled as she Hit Dark Link with the part of the staff but he just smiled. Nikki then bit her lip. Her mid was running wild.

"I don't feel pain Nikki," Dark Link said and then Nikki was the one to smile. She though of something. Something that might giver her a few minutes to get out of the Hyrule castle town.

"You may not feel pain but can you possible kill me when you can't see me?" Nikki asked as she dropped the part of the staff then rammed bother of her index fingers in to Dark Links eyes. Nikki pulled her fingers out of his eyes and he let go to her. Nikki then Kicked Dark Link away from her. She swooped down and picked of the staff then pulled out her rope again. She then ran up the side of the wall and pushed off if. She threw her rope and it looped around another one of the stone birds that were on this bridge as well.

Nikki Kicked up and over the side of the wooden bridge. She let go of her rope and fell down into the river the surrounded the castle town. Nikki was relived as the cold water was all around her. As she touched the bottom she gently pushed off it and then came to the top of the water again. She took in a deep breath and swam to the side. She climbed out and put the part of the staff in her bag again.

Nikki then started to walk away from the Hyrule castle town. She was way to tired to run and she hoped by poking out Dark Links eyes that he would not be after her just yet. Nikki walked along side of the river until she saw a small hill with a tree on top. It had a fence around the top. That might be a good place to stop and catch her breath. (you know out side the entrance to the Village? Where you have to stand up on the hill to shoot the big Poe and sometimes Eponas head and or the tree gets in your way? well yeah thats where she is going to sit)

She climbed up the hill and collapse on the ground. That was the second time she had almost lost her life. The first time happened a while ago when she first met Tenameru, but he saved her. Now she had to save herself. She just wanted to sleep but every time she closed her eyes she saw Dark Link, Serria or Mido and always opened them again. She was scared, and this was usually the part when Tenameru would run his fingers threw her hair and tell her that everything would be all right.

But he was no where in sight. She felt weird, like you have been tying your shoes all your life with two hands and then one gets cut off. How hard it would be to try and tie your shoe with your one hand. Thats how Nikki felt with out Tenameru. But being with out him made her stronger, she had to be strong, Tenameru would be proud of her.

Malon and Mika hugged on to Link as he shot off the hook shot. The Hook shot hit into one of the trees on the other side of the gap. Once it was sung in the tree, it clicked and the three people were lifted off the ground. They -flew- across the gap, when they were sure they would land on solid ground, Both Mika and Malon let go of Link and dropped down.

Link waited for the hook shot to drop him when it was finished winding up again. The hook shook un hooked it's self from the tree and Link fell down towards the ground. With out a second though Malon ran towards Karzon and hugged him tightly. She then started crying, she was so happy to see him a live. He was hurt and beat up but she could live with that, all that mattered was that he was alive.

Karzon patted her back as she sobbed gently on his battered and ripped up chest. Karzon then looked over At Tenameru who had wondered away from Karzon the second his hand lifted from his shoulder. Tenameru had found a nice place to sit on a tree stump. This kind of swept all the happiness out of Karzon to see one of his best friends depressed like this. Though he had been away from Tenameru all these years, once he got his memory back Tenameru felt like a best friend again.

Mika walked over to Karzon and patted him on his back. He was a complete mess. If they were to put a band-aid on all his wounds he'd look like a mummy. Karzon found his smile again as he looked over at Mika. Link then walked over and Malon finally let go of Karzon.

"For all it's worth, I'm glad to see you alive," Link said as he shook hands with Karzon. Karzon felt a little bit better but he was still worried about Tenameru. Karzon was receiving all this love from the three people whom at this point he cared for the most. And Tenameru might have lost the one person who he really loved.

"Oh, here Malon," Karzon said as he handed her that part of the staff that Tenameru had given him earlier. Malon then took her bag and took out the part of the staff they had. She held the staff out and the two parts started glowing. Then the part Tenameru had given them attached to the part they already had. They now had three pieces of the staff. Malon spun it around on her fingers and she smiled then pt the staff away.

"Karzon, who's that?" Mika asked, they all had seen Tenameru when they first saw Karzon. But she was the first one to ask about him. Karzon then started to walk over to Tenameru and waved to them to fallow him. Karzon bent down and Tenameru looked at him.

"Tenameru, These are my friends, Malon, Mika and Link," Karzon said as he pointed to each one of them. Tenamerus eyes followed Karzon as he pointed to everyone. Then the name Link ran threw his ears and the name matched the face. Thats who he was sent to find, thats the person he had to leave Nikki for to find. He was also the one Dark Link took after, the one person who sent Serria and mido out to Kill Nikki.

Karzon was Quick to notice the angry that was now starting to show in Tenamerus eyes. It was kind of like the feeling, when They noticed Malon was under some sort of spell and only went evil when she looked at him.

"Tenameru snap out of it, it's not Dark Link. This is the good guy Link version or what ever you want to call him," Karzon said as Tenameru was a bout to attack Link when Karzon grabbed him and pushed him back down.

"The same guy who made me leave Nikki!"

"Tenameru! Stop! Your upset! I know what it's like to be upset we all do. But taking it out of him is not going to help anything! Link did not make you leave Nikki this is the first time he's ever seen you, and that I'm sure of. And Like I said, there is still a big chance that she's still alive! So please cool it!" Karzon said and Tenameru pushed Karzon off Him. He stood up and glared at Link. But Karzon was right, Nikki would not come back to him if he hurt link. He was loosing his cool. Tenameru then walked away from them again and sat down with his back to them. He still needed Karzons help to find his way to the castle.

"He's not normally like this, Dark Link sent Serria and Mido to kill his female friend Nikki," Karzon said as he stood up and they all looked a little bit surprise. "But he did save my life, and he is one of my child hood friends. He just needs to cool and take in everything."

"Then I'm in forever in his dept.," Malon said as she hugged Karzon again. Mika then looked over at link. She then smiled and took hold of Links arms,

"There are three people who need to be alone now Link, and we are in the way," Mika said as she pulled link away form Malon and Karzon. She also did not want him to be to close to Tenameru right now. Mika did trust that Karzon was telling the truth. That Tenameru was just upset from loosing a loved on. She knew that feeling way to well. More then she would have liked.

"I'm so happy you are all right, ever sence I came out of that damn trance...why did we even get into that stupid little fight? Links my cousin, I'm close to him because he feels like Family to me! What you really need to know Karzon, is that I'm not some kind of whore," Malon said as she looked up into his face, even though it was all battered up he still looked Damn handsome.

"Well it kind of was my fault for thinking you as some kind of whore, and I'm sorry Malon," Karzon said as he brushed her hair out of her face with his hand. Karzon then sat down on the tree stump where Tenameru had been sitting before he got up and moved. Malon then took a seat on his lap.

"I dunno, but I've had this thing for you ever sence I first saw you being yelled at by Great Impa. I guess it's your Shika magic working wonders on me," Malon said and this Made Karzon smile. "We can save Hyrule, all four of use together, with the help of your friend Tenameru. And I thank him so much for bring you back to me."

"I thank him as well," Karzon said as Malon leaned up towards Karzons and some how, maybe it was Karzon's Shika magic working it's wonders again. But Malons lips were guided towards Karzons and they engaged in a kiss.

Mika who really did not want to spy on Karzon or Malon just simply could not help herself but to look back and giggle slightly when she saw the two kissing. Mika punched link in his good shoulder and pointed towards the two brand new lovers.

"Mika Mika Mika....You really are one of a kind," Link laughed and Mika joined in. She really did not think she was a one of a kind but hearing it from link made it worth while just to laugh. Navi floated out of Links hat and Looked around. She flew away from the laughing Mika and Link. They romantically involived at the moment Karzon and Malon and the poor depressed Tenameru and just flew off to a tree and leaned against it. She then floated to the ground and just plopped her self there.

She then turned over and ran into something. She fell backwards and looked what she had run into. She flew up in a bit of anger. But she saw what it was she grew happy and started flying about the object grabbing everyone's attention (yes even Karzon and Malons ^_^''')

"What is it Navi?" Link asked as he ran over to the fairy.

"It's part of the staff link! It's part of the staff of healing!" Navi yelped happily and Link looked down at the metal object Navi had found. Mika was the next one to run over to take a look at what Navi had found and it did look like a part of the staff. Link bent down towards it and grabbed as much as he could and started to pull on it as hard as he could.

The part of the staff was coming lose, then with one final tug Link yanked the thing out of the ground. But it flying out of his hands and up into the air. the Staff spun around in a few circles before it stooped in mid air.

They all looked up in the air as it started to glow a bright red color and the voice of the goddess ran threw their thoughts and minds as the staff stayed a float.

"You may not uptain this part of the staff of Healing until you turn the sage of the forest and her friend back to normal. If you are not successful in doing so the fate is the death of Princess Zelda and Great Impa of the Shika," The Goddess said then her voice left and the room started to shake some. Everyone was now standing on their feet as a weird kind of portal opened up from under the staff. And before any of them could object to what was going on Evil Serria and Evil mido came falling out of the portal. They still had their buries and cuts for their fight with Nikki but they were back to full strength and power.

The portal then disappeared as the two landed softly on their Feet. Karzon shot a side ways glance over at Tenameru, then though it would be in the best interests if he kept Tenameru from Killing the both of them. His power was strong and he saw the way he battled Dark Link. Karzon then ran past Serria and Mido and over to Link and Mika.

"We Gotta do something, my friends not going to last to long with out attacking, sence you seam to be keen on battle plans Link hurry and think of one!" Karzon snapped.

"All right sir," Link said sarcastically as the three of them walked over to Tenameru and Malon. Mido and Serria were still at the moment trying to figure out what had happened. But they did know one thing for sure they were going to have to fight again. But that was a upside for them.

"I want Malon and Kar-"

"No," Karzon said sharply and Link eyed him. Karzon then shook his head no again and Link crossed his arms. He looked back at Serria and Mido. They did not have to much time on their hands at the moment and Karzon was telling him no.

"Look you told me to-"

"No," Karzon said again and Link frowned, This was going to be fun.

"Fine! Mika and Malon, I want you to go distract Mido. I'm not to sure on how to turn them back. But I know one thing you tow can hold him off," Link stopped then looked at Karzon. "Is that okay with you?"

"Yep," Karzon said then Link rolled his eyes. Making everyone happy was not the easiest thing in the world to do.

"'The guys' so to put it will go after Serria, not to be sexist or anything but we happened to be stronger and Serria is the Sage of the Forest. And don't kill them, it's not their fault they are like this-"

"Cut the Hero crap speech already," Tenameru said still not in the bets mood. Link frowned, what was it with guys. Neither one of the girls had any objections to what he said. But these two just did not want to pay any attention to him.

"Fine!" Link snapped again, he just could not win right now and he was not even going to try and bicker with these two. No wonder they were friends. "Lets get the show moving shall we?"

"All right, be careful," Mika said and before Malon and Karzon could get into their becarful speeches Mika dragged her way so they were would not interfere with the guys while they battled the sage of the forest.

Serria smiled as she motioned for Mido to go over to the girls, the both heard all of the groups conversations. She was more confident in her powers now then when she was fighting Nikki. This time she would do something right, or die trying.
