Chapter 8: Slingly blining blanch boom boom

~Note:::::: The Character named Tenameru who appears in this chapter belongs to a good friend of mine Legolas(legolasofthewoods on Mediaminer) She made him up and gave me permission to use him in my story! So yeah! he belongs all to her!

Mika, Link and Malon sat there why Malon cried over her stupid mistake. Link was trying desperately to find a way to get across this gap. If they went down they would be as good as dead. Not only was it dark but he did not know how far down it went. So their only real way of getting to their destination was going across.

Mika was lost in everything. Why had this new `Dark Link' singled out Karzon? Was it because Karzon and him had already met in battle? She did not understand and really was not in a good mood. But she did feel a lot better after telling them her little dark past she hid away. Maybe it was better to tell people what had happened. It was the best way to get over it. Though she would never for get it her wounds would heal.

Link lost track of the time as the three of them sat there. They had to make it across, they more he sat and though about this the more Karzon drifted to their minds. Not knowing what horrible thing could be happening to him right now. The thoughts were horrid as they though of those poor people they saw the other day. Then the forest was in shambles as well. Everything was dead or dying. Link cursed as he stood up. He walked back and forth. He had to think hard. What could get them across. Link looked at the other side of the cliff. He then closed his eyes and an image appeared in his mind.

Sheik, or better know as Zelda approached him in a Shika get up that helped hide the real Zelda. Then Zelda/Sheik had said `You can not enter the forest temple the way you are armed.' Link opened his eyes. That was it! He needed to go find the Hook shot! He smiled, Zelda always came threw for him. Link turned towards Mika and Malon. Malon had finally looked up from her crossed arms.

"We need to go get the hook shot! Then we chan hook shot across and then we will get on the other side!" Link said, They both looked at him like he was stupid. Neither one of them had ever heard of a hook shot before. Link ran over to them and pulled them to their feet. "It's the only way to save Karzon come on lets go!"

They walked towards the door again. Link opened the door and they were back where they Great Deku tree was. It was night time again. At this rate that had been out here for almost a week. They were running out of time. Zelda and Impa only had a few weeks left to live. Then their quest would be in vain.

"Where are we going?" Malon asked as they ran threw the dark forest the smelled of death. Link waved his hand saying that he would tell them when they were out of a place that was not crawling with monsters. The three of them got to the tunnel and entered it. They ran across the bride but half way across they were stopped by a not so friendly person.

"Not her! Not now!" Mika said as she slowed to a stop Serria was standing in front of them. There was only one good thing that came out of seeing her. It meant she was not down ripping at Karzon. She tapped her sword against her leg and a smiled fell upon her face.

"Move it for lose it!" Malon snapped. She was in really not mood to play around with this person. She pulled put her bow and an ice arrow formed on it. She shot it off. Serria blocked the attack with her sword. Her sword froze into a big block of Ice. Serria then dropped it so it would not freeze her hands. The sword fell over the side of the bridge. Then it crashed into a million pieces as it smashed against a rock. "Now move..."

"As you wish," Serria shot her hands out to the side and two beams shot form them. They hit the side of the bridge. The bridge broke in half. Mika, Malon and Link then fell down and hit the ground. Serria started hovered in the airs as she heard the three of them `thud' down on to the ground. She smiled then disappeared again.

"DAMNIT!!" Malon screamed! Now how where they going to get out of here. She started crying again thinking about Karzon. She was not going to be so gentle on Serria next time she saw her...

"Pity she's not here to see the end of you," Dark Link said with a slight smile as he snapped his fingers. The Monster plant thing dropped the bleeding and battered Karzon from it's grasp. Dark link walked around Karzon then stopped when he reached his head.

Behind Dark Link was Evil Mido just sitting and waiting his turn to have his `fun' with Karzon. Dark Link pulled his foot back and slammed it into Karzon's side. This felt like the last time he fought Karzon. But this Time it was not Dark link who have the joy of making him bleed.

"I though I cut off that arm of yours?" Dark link asked Karzon though Karzon was still knocked out. Dark Link then walked over to where he had kicked Karzon. He was just not having fun anymore. He then sighed heavily then turned and looked at Mido who was still sitting. Dark Link walked over to Mido and smiled his evil little grin.

"He's all yours now, and Serria can help when ever she comes back, I'll be at the Sky Garden if you need anything. But don't bother Ganon this time. He's not as gentle as I am," Dark said and that comment he just made, made him laugh out loud, he then disappeared and Mido got up from his seat. He strolled over to Karzon who as now starting to come around. This was good, Mido liked when they screamed and begged for their lives. It made it much more fun.

"Malon....." Karzon said slightly as he finally got his eyes opened. The first thing he saw was his own blood seeping out of his skin. He pushed him self up slowly, looking around then rubbing his head. He lost his head gear. He looked down at his clothes. They were ripped to shreds. Karzon then turned to his side and looked at Mido.

Karzon gasped as he fell backwards again. This was so not good, he had to get out of here! Where were the others? He was going to be killed by this mad man holding a ax. Mido sensed his fear and then lick his lips witch made Karzon even more uncomfortable.

Karzon tried to get up to run, to get any where but being in the present of Mido in the conduction he was in. Maybe Mido wanted revenge on him for beating him up with Malon last time. Karzon shook his head as he though about Malon, the fight, her uncanny power and the way she looked at him the last time she saw him. She warned link away from him so she could kill him. What a pleasant though that was.

"Your Friends are not going to come get you, your a dead man now," Mido said, Karzon pushed himself up to his feet but he stumbled backwards running into the wall. He yelped in pain as he slid back down to the ground. There was no way he could make it out alone.

"they will come...." Karzon said, he was not quite to sure about that. Him and Link were not best of friends, Malon was on a rampage against him and he did not even know Mika that well to know if she would came save him or not. He closed his eyes, of all the ways the gods could make him die, did this have to be one of them. He would never be able to say good bye to his mother.

"Are you sure about that Shika?" Mido asked as he wrapped his hand around Karzon's shirt then pulled him to his feet. Karzon bared his teeth, he tried to lift his hand up, maybe he could strangle his way to freedom. He did have one hell of a grip. But before Karzon could summon enough energy to lift his arm, Mido gave him one good toss across the room. Karzon slammed on the ground, his head hitting it first then the rest of his body. He was confused on why he did not black out again, some one wanted him to witness his own death.

Karzon took in a few deep breaths as Serria appeared in the room. Karzon ground, this was even more wonderful. Now he had tow nuts after him, to make him their new room decorator. Serria smiled as she saw Karzon laying on the floor. She walked over to Mido and whispered something. Then he whispered something back to her.

"What to join, I was hopping I would not have to kill him alone," Mido said and Serria smiled even bigger. Karzon took a quick notice that she did not have her sword anymore. He sighed, that would make his death even more painful. He just wished they'd kill him already and get it over with.

"But thats hardly fair," Karzon froze completely. He even stop breathing for a few moments. Where was that voice coming from? He had never heard that voice before. And from the looks of it, neither did Mido or Serria. Karzon might be saved after all.

"Who are you and what are you doing here?" Serria asked, then came strolling threw the shadows was a tall man. He had long blue hair that was tied back in a braid. His out fit was orange with the symbol of the night Shika impressed on his clothes. He also had on around his neck the symbol of the night Shika. It softly his against his chest every time he took a step towards Serria and mido.

"My name is Tenameru, don't try and strain your brain to try and think of where you saw me before. Why I am here? Thats kind of a stupid question don't you think?" The male Shika said and Karzon was even more stunned at the figure that stood before him. At least he knew someone carried. Tenameru, Karzon had heard that name before, it had buzzed around his tribe a while back, but he could not place it. It might have helped to remember if he was not so battered up.

Serria growled at Tenameru she did not like his attitude and how he just came walking in like he own the place. But Mido was smiling as well. The more people who came the more he got to kill. He though this party was starting to get good, he did not carry much fear as Serria did.

Tenameru then turned around sharply and looked at Karzon. This enraged Serria more. Not only did she not like his attitude he had turned his back to them. He was not scared at all, and his little action proved it.

"Do I know you from some where?" Tenameru asked Karzon and Karzon blinked stupidly. Karzon wished he knew. Tenameru looked so familiar to him. But he could not place his name with anything he could remember at the moment.

"Maybe...but...I can't seem to remember...."Karzon said and that seamed to tick Tenameru off. No Tenameru was not made at Karzon, but there was only one thing that could make a Shika forget something. Tenameru turned and looked at Serria and Mido.

"Where's your `one in command' you tow morons can possible be in control of this mad mission your on," Tenameru said and Serria had enough of this guys crap. She took a step forward towards Tenameru. She was going to stop this big mouth Sheik once and for all.

"If you have anything to say then say it to my face," Serria snapped at Tenameru then he turned back to Karzon. He just remember where he had seen Karzon before. Tenameru held out his hand for Karzon. Karzon took it greatly. Tenameru then helped Karzon to his feet. Tenameru then saw Karzons small little charm around his neck, the symbol of healing.

"Your Meramakes son, Karzon," Tenameru said, Karzon looked at Tenameru, how did he know his mother? But something buzzed inside his brain but he could not let it free. Tenameru then walked Karzon over to a safer spot to sit then the one he was in. And each second Serria's blood boiled hotter and hotter. She was going to make sure she killed this new person.

"You can't remember cause they planted something in your head. I guess it was spouse to turn you evil, but stupidly they forgot it does not work that what on a Shika blessed with the power of healing. Don't worry it should not be that hard to remove it, Great Impa should easily get it out," Tenameru said as he touched the side of Karzon's head. Karzon then squinted his eyes trying to think hard. Something bad had happened to Impa he just could not remember what had happened to her. He was really getting sick of not being able to remember anything.

"She can't help...something bad happened to her....thats why I'm here...I'm spouse to be looking for the pieces of the Staff of healing to cure her and Princess Zelda. But she'd be no help to me now," Karzon said and Tenameru gave him and odd look then remember the message that was sent to him. He never looked at it though. But now he reached into his pocket and pulled out a small piece of paper folder into a box. She slowly unfolded it. He read it: Tenameru my Boy, I entrust you with this piece of the staff of Healing. find the one your drawn to and give it to him. please make sure he is safe until Link, Malon and Mika come for him. Your always in my thoughts, Taff.

Tenameru blinked, Taff always seamed to amazing him. She folded the letter back up. Then he reached into his pocket again. Karzon needed the staff of healing. Taff gave it to him to give it to Karzon. Taff was like a second father to Tenameru and he always did as Taff told him. Though it was not much Taff asked him to do. This had to be the biggest request he had ever received form the old man.

Then Tenameru remember the name Malon, thats where he knew that name from. Taffs great great grand daughter. Was she running around with Karzon, the son of his parents old but dearest friend Meramake? He now knew he had to stick around Karzon for a while longer, but first he was going to get rid of Serria and mido.

"I wont let anything happen to you buddy," Tenameru said then he stood up and suddenly, Karzon knew exactly whom and where he had met Tenameru from...

--"Come on! your Mommy said it would be okay," A Small blue hair boy said as he reached for a smaller boys hand. The littler boy took the blue hair boys hand and they started off into the darkness. The little boy with brown hair and green eyes had never wondered around at night before. His mother never let him really. But he figured sence he was with this new boy that everything would be all right.

"Tenameru dear! Ganon is still at large around these parts please! please hunny don't go to far!" Tenamerus mother yelled after the two boys. The little blue hair boy turned around as smiled at his mother.

"Don't worry mom! Me and Karzon will be extra careful!" Tenameru yelled back to his mother as he started walking off. Meramake walked next to Tenamerus mother and smiled as he little boy walked off in to the dark woods with Tenameru.

"Why do you only come over at night time?" Karzon asked, he and Tenameru had become really close friends in only a few visit's. They were almost like brothers. They enjoyed the others company but it was a drag on Karzon because most of the time Tenameru came over he was tired. But that never kept him from play mud wars or tag with Tenameru. Tenameru was also a year older then he was, he was like a role model for Karzon.

"Because if I come out in the day I'll fry!" Tenameru said, Karzon never really understood what he meant by he would fry if he went out in the day. But every time Tenameru said it he said it with a little fear. And Meramake told Karzon if Tenameru and his family went out in the day Karzon would never see them any more. But Karzon kept asking and hoping that one day Karzon could show Tenameru the sun rise.

"Think of any new games lately Karzon?" Tenameru asked and Karzon shook his head sadly no. He had been on a mind loss with his boredom lately. Karzon also was always happy when the night came cause all the women would go to sleep and he could finally hang out with a boy. It was hard to be born and raised in a tribe of only women and girls. And the rule that he could not love any woman or girl from his tribe. Only his mother. Cause even though he was a boy they found it quite weird. So Karzon was happy when he finally met some one he could do boy stuff with.

"Well thats okay I wanted to show you the water fall tonight, it's really cool when the full moon shines on it! I wanted to show you it a few days again but my mom is still so worried about that jerk Ganon who is running around. If I saw Ganon I'll give him a good punch to his face," Tenameru laughed and so did Karzon. Karzon admired how brave he was to stand up to that not noes bully named Ganon. They both heard that Ganon had came from a tribe of women called `Gerudo's' neither of the boys knew what a Gerudo was nor had they ever seen one before.

When the two boys finally reached the water fall every single star was out in the sky. there also was a small warm breeze blowing gently on their skin. They stood at the top of the water fall and looked down. There were a few fairies down at the bottom. But when they suddenly disappeared the boys then heard horse hooves coming up from behind them.

They both turned around and saw a bunch of gangsters on the back of horse they laughed and sneered at the two boys. Tenameru got in front of Karzon to protect him from the gangsters.

"Hey boss is this the boy you were looking for?" One of the guys yelled, then the group parted and a man ridding on the back of a black horse rode up to them. He smiled as he looked down at Karzon. He nodded then jumped off his horse.

"Karzon, the Shika male of healing. Nice to finally meet you I'm Ganon," Ganon said as he walked over rot the boys. Tenameru tighten up, he heard stories that Ganon was trying to get rid of everything that had the word `healing' in it. Just for the fun of it, or so that no worrier could be brought back once he killed them.

"Get away from my friend!" Tenameru yelled and Ganon pushed Tenameru out of the way. He stumbled backwards and almost fell off the water fall.

"Back off Night boy or your going to come face to face with Mr. sun," Ganon growled at Tenameru. Ganon then Grabbed Karzon's little shoulders and brought him closer to him. "Kid by the end of this day you shall never know how to use you healing magic, ever again. And if you ever remember this night or any other of your childhood that had to do with healing I just might have to kill you."

"Don't hurt me!" Karzon yelped and Tenameru ran over and started slamming his little fist on to Ganons arm trying to free his friend. Ganon then with one swift motion pushed Tenameru off him and he fell down on the dirt. Ganon then place his pointed finger on Karzon's head and a blue engery zapped from Ganon's finger and then hit Karzon's head. Karzon screamed as he fell backwards and fell over the side of the water fall. Ganon started laughing and Tenameru ran over to the side.

"Ten....a..." Karzon said softly as he was hanging on dearly for his life by a rock that was sticking out of the side of the water fall.

"Karzon! I wont let anything happen to you buddy!" Tenameru reach out towards Karzon but they were just to far away he could not reach him. "Karzon! Hang on!" But his efforts we in vain. Karzon blacked out and let go of the rock....

"Oh my baby!" Meramake sobbed as she sat right next to Karzon's bed and patted his head. Karzon was lucky to servive. When Karzon had fallen, Tenameru had jumped into the water after him and beryl made it back to the tribe alive.

"He wont remember anything, nothing at all, maybe how to speak and walk. But his memories of people places and magic have all been wiped away by some dark force," The doctor said and Meramake wiped her eyes.

"Tenameru thank you for saving Karzon's life, I don't know where I would be with out my son," Meramake said as she looked down at Tenameru who was wiping his tears away. Why should she be thanking him when he got Karzon into this mess in the first place.

"Miss Meramake, this was left my Ganon...it has the symbol of healing on it. I'm guessing it belongs to Karzon. it might help get his power back..." Tenameru said and Meramake hugged him.

"Thank you, I will never forget you...." As Karzon woke up and saw the blue hair boy leave his room he had never see him ever again.--

"Tenameru!" Karzon yelled out loud as his vision left his eyes. His child hood hero, his role model. Was not...standing right in front of him. Then he remember that Impa was placed under a deadly cures and he needed the staff. Everything he had forgotten was now coming back to his mind.

"Yes?" Tenameru asked as he turned back towards him.

"I remember you..."

Far from the forest and the second temple of healing, the Hyrule castle stood still a silent. Ever sence Ganon and Dark links attack it seamed kind of peaceful. But that was soon about to change.

Walking slowly towards the castle was a girl with Dark brown hair and sharp green eyes. Her hair was pulled back into a pony tail and she hair very nice fair skin. The look at her face was determination. Her eyes showed hatred and her body moments showed she was not in the mood to be messed with. As the bridge started to lift for the night the girl jumped on to it and then slide down it into the Hyrule castle town. The Guards looked threw their winds, they had never see this girl before. But she did not look harmful.

The girl had on a white long dress and over her shoulders was a blue cape and her shoulder bag. She really looked like a nurse. And thats what they all though she was. But she was nothing more then a nurse. She was a healer that was for sure but she hated everything about this place. From the people all the way down to the bugs.

But the thing he hated the most was the castle that stood before her eyes. No she was not working for Ganon, but the sound of Hyrule ringing in her ears was making her go mad. She was sent here on orders from the oracle of Healing himself. She was spouse to find the Hyrule hero and she though this would be the best place to start looking.

She headed down threw the town, she reached a dirt path and took in a deep breath. She then started down it. Her thoughts were gambled but there was only one person she was hoping to see or find. But she knew he was not going to be here. But she had her orders and she had to fallow them. If it meant getting the only person whom she carried for mad at her. She had to do this.

The girl turned the corner and walked towards a gate with two guards standing next to it. This might be a little harder then she though. But these people were not going to stop her. They held out their spears towards her. She bowed slightly but did not get down on her knees. They did not earn that much respect from her.

"I have orders from Taff, I need to speak to the hero of time," The girl said and the guy laughed lightly. The girls temper was being pushed, she did not like being laughed at when there was nothing funny involved. This was serious, did they always laugh like this?

"Miss Link has not been here for a few days. He left to find the pieces of the staff of Healing," The guard said and the girl pulled out something from her bag. She waved it in front of their faces, she was not really in the mood, she should not been here right now. A weird feeling started growing in her gut.

"Look at this you fool! This is a part of the staff of healing! Now you let me pass so I can talk to someone who might know where Link is! Got me! move it or lose it!" She snapped, she normally was not this snappy but it was just Hyrule. Everything that had happened to her, she could not stand this place. She was about to whack one of the guards with the piece of the staff but the other opened the gate. She smiled then went on her way towards he place doors.

They were so big and grand looking, the sight made her sick to her stomach. How could something so beautiful be so ugly. And hide away something so deadly? She walked up and past a few guards then pushed opened the doors. It took a little effort but she managed to get one of the doors opened all on her own.

She stepped into an amazing place, the smells, the sounds. If her friend was here with her it would have been perfect. But he was sent tot do something else, she found that out by accident by over hearing Taff talk to him. Thats when Taff gave her, her order.

"Ma'am can I help you?" A servant of some kind asked her. She looked at the servant and smiled as nice as she could. She could not help it that she felt like she was going to throw up. She bowed but lower and more respectful then what she had done for the guards.

"Please take me to your king, I need to speak to him now, orders from Taff himself," The girl said and that request made her skin craw like there was bugs under a thin layer of skin. She wanted to frown and show how much the though ripped appart her mind. But some how she kept her smile on her face.

"Right this way ma'am," The servant said, everyone respect Taff and no one ever came to them with a false request from Taff. So he started rushing off, the girl had to run to keep up with the seventh. The ran past the dinning hall, it appeared they had just finished dinner.

They then entered a hall way. With pictures of kings and queens of the past. The girl looked around and studied all the faces and figures. Ever detail was locked into her mind and never wanted to free it's self. This castle was hunting her.

Then after a few minute walk threw the long ever long lasting hall way they reached tow more doors. The servant bowed to her then pushed opened the door. The girl walked in past the servant and into one of the many throne rooms threw out the castle. The girl began to walk slowly in the throne room on a blue rug.

She froze instantly when she saw the king. She could not move her legs any more. Her mouth fell open as a blond girl was sitting in a chair next to him. A Shika looking woman was leaning against the wall with some sort of doctor looking person talking to her. The girl took in a few deep breaths then she started walking closer so at least she could hear what they were talking about.

"Daddy, I kind of feel a little better," Princess Zelda said as she rubbed her head. With the help of Todd she was feeling much better. But she still had her death day hanging in the air right above her head. She hoped that Link really was able to find a way to save her life. But not matter what happened, she would always love him.

The King turned towards Zelda and took her hand. He rubbed it gently then looked over at Impa and Todd who were fighting about something. It was great to see them all in good sprit again. Though he dreaded the day that it would end. He did not like the idea of his sick laughed wondering around, but if it kept her alive a little bit longer then it was okay with him.

"Darling, Link will find a way to save you. You will be the next ruler of Hyrule my dear and you'll make a damn fine Queen. Then with Link by your side, you two will make Hyrule the greatest kingdom every," The king said as he brushed some of Zelda's hair out of her face. She blushed a little and she was the first to notice the horror struck girl who was standing before them. She was trembling a little. Impa and Todd then looked over. The King was the last to notice the girl standing there.

The girls mind fought over weather her body should bow now or just stand and show she had more power then they had. But finally her good side one and she got down on her knee. She then stood up rather quickly almost falling over.

"It appears you never been in from to a king before dear, what is your name?" The King asked as he let go of Zelda and stood up. there was something about this girl that bugged him. The girl put on a fake smile and she tightened her grip on the staff of healing to make her feel better.

"I have been before plenty of Kings, My name is Nikki Mamore-tealmentae-healer," she said and shifted slightly, She did not like saying her full name there were to many bad memories attached to them. But she was in front of a king, no matter how much she hated him how much she just wanted to jump at him and kill him. She kept calm she was here for Taff....and the sooner she did this the faster she could return home.

"What are you doing here?" Zelda asked as she stood up. Zelda needed the support of her father to stay standing. Nikki tried as hard as she could to keep her smile, but the tow of them together. Happy, defending one another, Nikki just wanted to rip out her eyes and throw them to he floor.

Nikki knew how this blond bimbo was, it was Princess Zelda the ONLY daughter of the King and his dead mistress. His only daughter whom he cared and loved for. After the death of his wife or soon to be wife. The one who would take his place after he died, of old age? Or some other form of death. Only time would tell how Zelda would become the Queen.

Nikki's blood started to boil she was making herself mad. Why did she let herself think like this. After all the years of trying to get rid of the pain, only two people could really heal her in the way she needed. She needed to return to those to people. She wanted to throw the staff at them and then run, but thats not what she was ordered to do. She needed to give it to the Hero of time, Link.

"I Need to speak to Link..." Nikki said as she sollowed her fears and held out the staff for them to see. Impa and Todd gasped they were the only two who knew what it was and what kind of magic that item in her hand could do.

"Where did you get that?" Impa asked as she walked over to Nikki with the Help of Todd. Nikki shoved the staff back in the bag, the could not touch it only Link could. Nikki sighed, she did not have time for this right now.

"Taff gave it to me to give to Link, Link already has two pieces of the staff, I need to give this to them. This is the only way Princess Zelda...and Great Impa are going to live. The staff of Healing," Nikki said then she took a step back. "Where is the Hero of time?"

"I'm sorry he's not here..." Zelda said as Zelda's eyes locked on Nikki's a great fear ran over Zelda. She became scared and looked just like Nikki did when Nikki had walked into the room and saw them all standing or sitting around talking.

"Do you know where he might have went?" Nikki asked as she took yet another step backwards. They were getting to close to her. She had to get out of here but she needed the answers first. She had to find this link and she did not even know what he looked like. This was going to be harder then she though.

"No I'm sorry, the last he went to find Taff and ask how to cure me..." Zelda said as she walked a little closer to Nikki. Nikki then turn and ran away from them before she did anything stupid. Zelda was a little shocked at her reactions. Zelda looked over at Impa and she had the same puzzled look on her face.

The King, Imap and Zelda all felt like they knew that girl, but the three of them knew for a fact that they had never seen her before. No matter how many times they looked threw one another memories they never would see this girl who came in and out of their lives like a big mistery.

Todd on the other hand was the only one who was smiling. Link was after the only thing that could save Impa and Zelda. And he seamed to be getting the pieces with a good amount of time. And sence he was the hero of time he still had to pray that he found them on time. At least now they had a solid hope. He did find a way and was on his way of getting it done.

Nikki ran threw the throne room doors and slammed them shut behind her. She breathed heavily once again like she was being chased by wild wolves. She then hear a voice, she looked up from the ground and some one was coming with a car full of drinks, or a cart with four cups on it. Then a image of the king and Zelda burned in her mind like a deadly sickness.

"He did this to me...." Nikki said softly as the woman pushing the cart of drinks stopped in front of her. Her could not go around Nikki. Nikki had to move for her to get in to see the king and give him his drinks. Nikki `s mind raced, she had to do what she had to do. Nikki walked to the Cart and smiled at the woman.

"I'll take this in, orders from the king, you can go get some sleep now," Nikki said and a smile appeared on the womans face like she had a million more drink runs before she could really go to sleep. She had done her good deed for the day. The woman smile got bigger and bigger before she could turn around and walk away.

Nikki was a little happy for the woman. She must have been working her butt off all day. Of course the king would not see that. Of course he'd make this woman work until she could not move any more. Drain all the life out of her. What if she had kids...of course the king would not care if she had kids of not, he only cared about Zelda. No one else.

Without this though ramming in her mind, Nikki put her shoulder bag on the floor and started going threw it. Once she found what she was looking for she but her shoulder bag back on her shoulder and looked at the thing she had pulled out. This was going to be a side track from Taffs orders, but the vile burned in Nikki's hand like a cross would to a vampire but there was not smoke steaming from her palm.

Nikki looked at the cups, there was one large one, one a little smaller and then two normal sized cups. She did not have to guess witch one belonged to what person. Nikki opened the vile and dumped the red stuff into the drink. She left a little bit of stuff in the vile then shoved it back in her bag.

"You love Zelda so much, now you can die with her," Nikki said as she turned and started walking down the hall way. She smiled her luck was getting a little better. Another servant was walking out of the hall way. This servant had not seen Nikki before, so Nikki smiled like nothing was wrong, like the whole world was going right for a change. "Pardon me, but there's a tray full of drinks down at the end of the Hall, the large one for the King, and so on. The other woman left them there and orders by the king he wants his drink. So You take that cart into him and then you can have the rest of the night off."

"All right...Thank you ma'am!" the Servant said as he grabbed Nikki's hand and shook it. He was hoping that Nikki was w permanent person her at the Castle but all good things really can't last. The man wiped away a tear from his eye then ran down the hall towards the drink. Nikki stood there and watched the man enter the throne room. Then Nikki was the one to run away again. She was about to kill some one. Not right away but a slow and pain full death. Like the curse that Zelda and Impa had. But she was poison the King. Tears started running down her face and she needed to get out side before she threw up all over the castle and made more work for the poor servants who already had enough to do.

She Finally ran threw the castle doors and out into the cold air. But she kept going until she could not go any further. Nikki bent over and finally threw up. The sick feeling was still there but she felt a little better that she had thrown up almost all her worries. What had she just done? She done what needed to be done, got rid of the one person who at any time could turn on Zelda and kill her. Or kill any one. Go nuts and maybe kill the hero of time. She had done Hyrule a big favor.

Nikki walked slowly and sat down under a tree. She might regret putting the poison in his drink later. But that was the only happy though that was running threw her mind. From all that she heard Zelda was a good queen. That meant she was half decent. She had not heard to many good things about this king. So that means he sucked. Zelda might cry, of course she would his whole world was worrying about the blond girl who sat in the chair next to him.

But for some reason Nikki could not help her self but to cry. She smelled like throw-up, there were tears streaming down her face and she could not leave tell the morning. Nikki reached into her bag and pulled out a charm that she normally had around her neck. It was of a Moon with a start attached to the bottom on it. She had this charm made to always remind her of her best friend Tenameru. She had to admit she had a crush on Tenameru, he was always there for her. Saved her life more then she could count. He understood her.

He was the one who took her from the Tealmentae's. the ones who beat Nikki and harmed her so badly. She still had the scars and the bruises from that horrid family. Nikki took the charm and kissed it before she put it around her neck. This was going to be one long Night. That made her tears come out faster. She wiped some away but it was no god to try.

"Tenameru...I need you, where are you?" She sobbed as she held on to her knees and just sat there crying. She would see him again soon, sooner then she'd ever expect.

"We have to GET OUT of this ditch! Ever second could lead closer to his death! and if he dies it's all my fault!" Malon yelled as she banged her fist on the dirt wall. Malon had controlled all her sadness for once and now her anger was the one that was shooting all over the place. UN like Malon who was kind of in a rampage Link and Mika were desperately trying to find a away out of this ditch.

Mika walked over to Malon and put her hand on her shoulder. Malon needed to calm down a little in order form them to think of an effective way out. Mika then looked at her hand on Malon's shoulder and then looked up at the wall. She smiled, for once in a few hours, she had an idea that was sure to work.

"I think I have an idea," She said, Link ran over to them to hear Mika's idea. "Why did we not think of this before? This proves we all need to chill out or Karzon is as good as dead. Now Malon will give me a boost and if I stand on her shoulders I could just about reach the top of this thing. Then Link you can help Malon up and then we can both pull you up from up there. all right we have it? And when we come back we can simply go that way around."

"Oh your the greatest Mika!" Malon said as she hugged Mika. Mika smiled, but they had to hurry up they already waist way to long sitting down her. Malon let go of Mika and Bent down. She never really had anyone stand up on her shoulders before but she would have to do everything in her power to make sure Mika got up there. This was really their only chance.

Mika stepped on Malons right shoulder and then her left shoulder. Link then helped Malon stand up right knowing that for the first item with a person on her shoulders this might be a little harder then it looked or sounded. Malon managed to stand up right with Links support to help. Mika reached for the top but she was about an inch short. She sighed, it was going to put a lot of pain on Malon but she would repay her later. Mika then pushed up on her toes and she just mange to grab the top of the wall. Mika's feet went off Malons shoulders as she tried to Pull herself up.

Link then walked up and push up on Mika's feet giving her an extra boost upwards. Mika then had what she needed to make it over the top. Mika smiled as she was all the way up and gave the two down below a thumbs up. Malon clapped her hands though her shoulders were in a bit of pain. Link then walked over and knelt down so Malon could get up on his shoulders.

"Malon stepped up on to his shoulders and Link roes off the ground. Scene Malon was shorter then Mika she could not quite make it tot the top. Mika then reached over the side and extend her hands out to Malon. Malon gratefully took a hold of them and with both the help of Mika and Link Malon was able to get to the top with Mika. Malon then hugged Mika again. Her idea had worked.

"Okay Link your going to kind of have to jump!" Mika yelled down to him. She then looked at Malon. "You just make sure I don't fall."

"All right," Malon said. Mika leaned over and extended her arms as far as they could go. She really hoped it was enough. Link then looked up at Mika, this was the one part of her plan that was not going to work. There was no way he could jump that high, But just to prove his point he attempted to jump. Not even close to Mika's hands he fell back towards the ground. She sighed, they were going to have to go on with out him, he was going to have to find another way up.

"Mika! Malon lines to me," Link said and Malon looked over the side as well. "Your going to have to go on with out me! I'm going to have to find another way up. Now leave this forest and got to the Kakarico village! Then find your way to the grave yard there. In order to get the hook shot to save Karzon, your going to have to push opened a grave that has and order of flowers in front of it. Your going to have to fall into a hole and then, you should find a Ghost by the name of Dampee! Race him and you will get the hook shot!"

"LINK! We can't leave you here!" Malon yelled at him, "What if Serria and Mido come for you?"

"Malon we can't waist any more time! Now get going!" Link yelled, he did have a way to get up but it was going to take a lot of time and thats not what they had right now. Mika tried to smile, he was to damn brave, but at least he was using the team, he was not a one man game now. He was proving to know and need the use of a team. Mika and Malon had to respect his dession.

Mika got up then helped Malon to her feet. The girls took one last look at Link before running off out of the woods. Link took off his hat and shook Navi out from it. She yawned. This fairy slept a lot now a days.

"Navi I want you to go with Malon and Mika," Link said and The Fair was about to say something until Link flicked her in the direction of where Malon and Mika were heading. Navi then cuddled up to Links face one last time before speeding away to find Malon and Mika. Once Navi was out of sight Link then started on his way to get out of this ditch.

Malon and Mika were just mounding their horses when Navi came flying over to them. The three girls were ready to go now. They kicked off their horses and road off towards the Village. The horses were moving as fast as they could but it still seamed like time was in slow motion. Malon knew where she was going to Mika was following her.

About a half an hour later Malon smiled as she saw the bridge leading into the village. She turned her horse sharply as it ran over the bridge. Malon then Jumped off the horse and started running up the long steps to enter the village. Navi took a breath then flew as fast as she could to keep up With Malon. Mika jumped off the her horse and land down on the ground Malon was half way up the steps before Mika started.

She did not know how much engery Malon could have when it came to saving Karzon's life. Mika ran up the stairs in an attempt to get up to Malon. She started skipping up some steps and she finally managed to run side by side with Malon as they entered the sleeping village. Malon look around then started Running again. Mika and Navi were about to fall over with the lack of air they were taking in but the could not lose Malon.

They again ran after her as she ran in to what appeared to be the entrance of the grave yard. Mika then grabbed on to Malons arm to keep her from running of like a mad cow again. Mika's mouth dropped open as she looked at all the graves. Ever single grave had flowers in front of it. She looked over at Malon. there was no way they were going to find the right gave that this ghost Dampee was hiding in.

"This can't be happening! We already wasted to much time..." Malon cried and Mika pate her back. There had to be a clue, there had to be something that could lead them to the right gave. As Mika got her breath back she started walking towards one of the graves when and icy voice whispered in her ear.

"Slingly blining blanch boom boom," Mika shot up form her spot and looked at Malon. Malon looked just as she did the last time Mika looked at her. Mika shook it out of her mind and looked at the gave next to it. the voice was a but louder this time but she heard it again. "Slingly blining blanch boom boom."

"Stop THAT!" Mika yelled and Malon jumped backwards.

"Stop what?" Malon asked and Navi flew over to Mika and they both heard the voice this time.

"Hey!" Navi yelled then flew back over to Malon. She bit down on Malon's shit and tried to pull her over to the grave where Mika was standing. Malon then went on to Mika and they both heard the voice. That really crepped Malon out. But an attempt to find the voice Malon stepped to the gave next to the one they were standing by. The voice was louder this time and a ray of hope shot threw Malons body.

"That must be the voice of Dampee! we just have to follow it and we will find his grave!" Malon said and Mika eyed her. This had to be a really stupid thing to do, was Malon eve sure she was hearing the voice of some dead guy?

"What if it's not?" Mika asked, but Malon started walking after the voice. Mika looked at Navi and then Navi slowly started following Malon. Mika sighed and walked after Malon. She could not let Malon wonder around a place full of dead people all by herself.

Ever other minute the voice of whom they hoped was Dampee ran past their ears and it kept getting louder and louder. They took it one grave at a time. Quickly saying sorry to the dead persons grave they were standing on. Malon stepped on to the next grave, once Mika stepped on it as well they stood there waiting for the voice. But it never came.

They looked around, Malon then took hold of Mika's arm and walked back to the grave they were standing on before. The voice shot threw their ears again. With that Malon then dragged Mika back on the grave where the voice had not come to them.

"This must be his grave," Malon said as she pointed to the tombstone. Mika let out a deep breath as she ran her fingers threw her hair. She really wished that these people marked the graves. This would have been so much easier id it had the dead guys name on it.

"Then lets get cracking," Mika said as she bent down and got a good grip on the tombstone. Malon bent down as well and grabbed a hold of it. The tow of them then started pushing the tombstone as hard as they could. Navi flew around their heads couching them threw the pushing. The stone then started moving, slowly at first, but as they got it more lose the easier it was to push the tombstone.

At last the two girls had pushed the tombstone as far as it would go. Mika looked down at the ground but nothing was there, nothing but a big long drop into blackness. Mika pushed away from the stone and put her feet down into the hole. She looked over at Malon and she had done the same as Mika.

"I guess this means were going down," Navi said but she seamed really uneasy about this. And she did not have hat to hide in this time around. Link was back in the forest still probably trying to find a way out of the mess they had got in.

"I guess it does," Malon said as she took a hold of Mika's hand. They both then looked down in the whole. "Ready?"

"Ready as I'll ever be!" The two girls took their last breath of fresh air before they jumped down into the whole. Navi floated around for a moment sneaking someone coming. She turned around and shall nothing. She shook the though out of her mind, Link asked her to stay and help the girls, and thats just what she was going to do.

With one finally quick look around Navi shot into the whole after Malon and Mika. If she would have stayed out a few more seconds she would had watched as Dark Link and Ganon found their way into the Grave yard.

"I told you I wanted the Shika Boy dead!" Ganon snapped his fingers in Dark Links face. Dark Link had been being yelled at ever sence the battle started between Tenameru, Serria and Mido. Like Dark Link planed on the new found Shika was going to arrive to help his little friend. But trying to tell Ganon this was like trying to teach a flower to do back flips.

"I know what you told me," Dark Link said angry but tried not to show how mad he was. Ganon had made him and easily could kill him as well. Dark Link crossed his arms as Ganon walked up to one of the Graves. He patted the tombstone then turned and smiled at Dark Link. This could mean a few things, that Dark Link did not really want to think about at the moment. But not wanted to enrage Ganon any more Dark Link walked over to the tombstone as well.

"This is how you kill brats Dark Link," Ganon said as he raised his arms. The ground then started shaking, a little at first but it grew and grew. The tombstones started cracking and falling to pieces. Then skeleton bones and arms started shooting out of the ground. In their hands were long rusted swords. There had to be more then twenty of them. Dark link was not at all impressed by the army of walking Skeletons, the last time Ganon had done this Link and his little crew of morons had made free with another part of the staff. But he did not bother to tell Ganon that in fear he'd become a walking skeleton as well. Ganon then dropped his arms and all the skeletons started heading out of the grave yard and in to the village.

"Um, Ganon where are they going?" Dark Link had to ask this, half the team had just went down into a grave and these guys were heading out of the grave yard. Ganon then put his hand on Dark Links shoulder and smile smiled his evil smile. Then he disappeared leaving Dark Link there to wonder.

But that did not bother him much, Serria and Mido would soon show that new Shika a thing or two. And when the girls came back out of the grave he would be here waiting for them. They would not leave this village alive. And when he was done with them, he would personally make sure Karzon lost more then his arm.

"Ah!" Malon and Mika yelped as they finally reached the bottom of the endless hole they had jumped into. They both landed on their butts, witch had taken most of the pain. Malon fell over on her side and gasped for some air. That had not been the lest bit fun.

Mika looked at the lit candles that were hanging on the wall. But there was also another light in this room that kept moving like someone was holding a lantern or something. Mika looked side to side and there was nothing there. Then she finally looked upwards. Her mouth dropped open a little. then Navi flew threw the hole and ran into Mika's arm.

"Sorry!" Navi yelped as she then spotted Dampee. "The joys of dead people..."

"Um! Pardon us coming into your gave like this, but we are looking for the hook shot, can you help us?" Mika yelled up towards Dampee as Malon started back up rubbing her butt trying to make it feel better. Malon then looked up towards the old grave yard keeper. She was not to shocked, just the other day she was being carried around by a Poe.

Dampee then started to float down towards the girls. His face was all sorts of messed up and he had a great big hump in his back. He must have died in his old dirty pair of ripped blue pants and his dark brown messy shirt. Because thats what he had on. Malon never got the real story on how he died, she heard so many different stories on his death it made her head spin.

As Dampee was now floating a few inches from the ground Mika climbed to her feet and so did Malon. The girls rolled their shoulders back a little getting ready to face what ever it was that they had to, to get the hook shot from this guy.

"You want my Slingly blining blanch boom boom?" Dampee asked and Mika was just about sick of hearing him say that. but she nodded her head. She figured that was the sound that the Hock shot made. Because if Link lead them somewhere else she would really kill him once she got out of this grave. "Then you must race, if you get to it in time then you can have my prize."

"I remember doing this!" Navi said as she got all her confidence back. She started darting around the room happily. She was going to be a help to them after all. Dampee then floated over to them and held his free hand up. The girls stood there and waited then a sliver light shot out of his hand.

A Chain wrapped around Malons left arm, and the chain went and wrapped around Mika's right arm. Then it turned into sliver handcuffs. Navi floated down towards the cuffs then floated up to eye level for the girls to see her.

"It's a timer chain, Link did not have to have one of these last time he came. It will keep record of your speed and how much time you have left," Navi said and both Mika and Malon sighed, this was going to be simply wonderful. Not only did they have to do this hooked together, but they were going to be timed as well.

Dampee then floated over to a wall and it slowly started to lift up. Dampee did not say or do anything until the door was all the way opened. He then slowly turned around and a grin appeared on his dead face. Mika did not like the look, it was the look that if they did not make it in time they would be trapped down in this hell of a maze until they died.

Mika nor Malon wanted to die in a place like this. Or have their sprit wonder around it either. After a few seconds, Dampee then snapped his finger and the girls got a little shock. They looked down at their cuff, timer. The time had started. They now had less then five minutes.

"Better get going, times a wasting!" Dampee said as she floated threw the door. Mika then gave the cuff a little tug telling Malon it was time to get going. Navi took the lead and the two girls followed closely behind her. As Navi flew past touches the lit up in all different kinds of colors. But the light was very help full.

Navi stopped up at the first fork and looked around frantically. She had to find the right way before Mika and Malon got up to her. She then turned to her right and saw a fire grow then fade away. This must have been the way Dampee went. Navi then darted off to her right. The girls were quick to turn but only to be greeted by Navi again.

"There's a hole up ahead! about fifteen feet or so. It's about a four foot jump across. I don't know how deep the drop is so I advise you not to fall," Navi said with the information out she zoomed off ahead of them to find any more traps or tricks. The girls then started running down the hall way again. Malon was counting their steps when she spotted the hole Navi had told them about.

"Don't think about it Malon, when we get there, jump as far as you can got me? If one of us falls, we both go," Mika said and Malon nodded. Mika gave Malon the courage and the faith she needed to make this jump. They had to make it, not just for their own lives, but for Karzon, Link, Zelda and Impa. Mika then pushed her right foot down as hard as she could and lifted her left foot to make this jump. Malon was a little slow to take the jump off.

Mika landed with a thud on the other side a split second before Malon did. Mika then ruffled Malons hair with her left hand and then laughed out loud as they started running down the passage way again. Navi waited for them at the next turn, and when they caught up to her she had more news.

"Up ahead There's a big gap of water. You'll have to swim across...but I'm afraid that might take to long!" Navi said and Malon took her bow off her shoulder and waved it at Navi as they ran past the fairy. Navi flew after them. Malon looked down at the clock they had three minutes left to get to Dampee.

The two of them then slowed to a stop at the water way and Navi shot off in the lead again. Malon Lifted the bow up and closed her eyes and tried to concentrate as fast as she could. A Blue glow of light then started to form at the end of her bow. She then opened her eyes and the ice arrow shot into the water. With in a matter of seconds the water started to turn to ice. They now had an ice bridge.

They jumped down on to Malons Ice bridge and started across it. A pair of ice skates would have been nice right now. But sence Malons bow could not turn into ice skates the girls had to do what they had. But the ice had given them the speed they needed to make up for all the lost seconds it took to make the bridge.

They reached the end of the ice bridge and jumped back up on to the stone way. There was a door up a head of them that was closing slowly. Navi was screaming for them to hurry up. This time the girls sprinted and ran for everything they had. Taking massive breaths, Navi dove under the door and waited for Mika and Malon.

Navi was starting to spaze out as the door got lower and lower. Navi then flew down a little to see out of the door, right as Mika and Malon skid under the door. The door shut down on Malons cape. Malon struggled and tried to pull it free but it was not budging.

"Damn it I'm stuck!" Malon yelled, Mika turned and looked at Malons cape. This was not good at all. But there was one thing they could do. Mika grabbed the clips that connected Malons cape to her shirt. Mika ripped off the clips and the cape fell from Malons shoulders.

"Not anymore," Mika said as she pulled on Malons arm and they started running again. Navi who almost had heart attack thinking the girls would not make it was back in the lead again. The tunnels that they had been running in were about to come to a stop. Navi flew into a room that had one small passage way, on either side of the passage were massive pits of hot lava. Then ever second a new gyser would shoot up hot lava. Navi turned around and flew towards the girls with the news.

"Up ahead! There's a walk way but it's only big enough for one person to walk across at a time. And one fatal move and your doomed to a pit of boiling hot lava!" Navi yelled as the girls made it to the new room. Mika now looked down at the clock. They had one minute in counting.

"Navi listen to me!" Mika said as she looked up from the clock at the Fairy. Navi was started tap sweat, not only from the heat but from the worry. She was really scared at the moment. She floated around waiting for Mika to speak. "Go on a head, if we don't make it, the bring the hook shot to link, someone is going to make it there and someone still needs to save Karzon! So go!"

"Please...make it alive!" Navi said then she flew off at her stop speed.

"Now what?" Malon asked, Mika then looked at the clock on last time, they had thirty seconds left. Mika then twisted the chain and Picked Malon up. Malons arm was wrapped around her waist so Mika could have a good hold on her and not drop her.

"It's a one person passage, and I'm stronger then you are at the current moment, Hold on tight," Mika said as she started running off. Malon said a quick pray as Mika jumped on to the passage way and started to run even faster then before.

Navi was waiting at the door with Dampee, and then Navis heart shank, the door like the other one started to shut slowly. Navi did a little back flip and she turned into her human form. This was the form she was going to have to be in to get the hook shot. She put her hands over her heart. They had to make it. They simply had to make it. There was no way she could explain to Link that both of them died.

Mika on the other had was trying her best not to think about death. She was sweating, holding a fully grown woman in her arms and trying to beat the clock that was ticking down every second against them. Then she saw the door. It was closing. There was Navi and Dampee.

Mika also took notice to the jump she was going to have to make in order to get to the door. But what made this jump even more difficult was that a massive stream of lava kept shooting out of it. Mika was getting closer to it, this jump could deiced if they lived or if they died and joined Dampee in his little floating maze.

Malon closed her eyes again and bit down on her lip. She was so sorry that she had ever got in that stupid fight with Karzon. She was sorry she did not say good by to her father in a better way. But as she listen to Mika's heart beat faster and faster, she put all her faith into the ex Gerudo warrior.

Then at last came the jump. Mika put more effort and strength into this jump Navi watched as Mika moved it what seamed like slow motion to Navi. She was doing a flip as the stream of Lava shot up again barely missing Mika and Malon. Navi then quickly moved her hands form over her heart to over her mouth as she gasped.

Mika was doing another flip while shooting threw the air. Tears started falling down Navis eyes as Mika then finally landed on sold ground once again. But she did not put Malon down just yet. Navi got down to her knees. She had to get down this far to see the girls. She saw Mika running with Malon in her arms. She saw them getting closer and closer. But then she saw total darkness....
