Chapter 7: Mika's scar

Link, Karzon, Malon and Mika were jumping up in down when they finally got of that skinking cave. When Navi stepped out on to the grass again she turned back into her little blue ball fairy form. It was a fast and easy transformation back to her normal form. She was then just as happy as the others. Tamke looked around in aw, he had never seen any of this stuff before. Nor had he ever see a sun set before. The colors in the sky were blue, purple, red and yellow. It was truly amazing.

But the four of them knew what was surrounding them so they dragged Tamke to watch the sunset somewhere else where they were not surrounded by dead Bodies. The feeling was still making them sick even thought they could not see the bodies. They were going to make sure to come back and clean that up when they were finished getting the staff. They grabbed a hold o f their horses as they walked away from that pace. The horses were pleased to leave this sight as much as their owners were. That was the spot none of them wanted to be nor ever want to see those bodies again. But they though it would be best if they cleaned it up not only so no other poor soul would not run into them. but the people who they were realated to would be better off if they knew where their loved ones were.

"You guys don't mind, if I just walk around and look at everything?" Tamke asked as they reached a safe distance form the bodies hanging on sticks. They all looked at him, Karzon was the only one who really knew how he felt. They honestly did not know what he wanted to go wonder off alone when he did know of anything.

"Sure, Becareful though you'll never know what Ganon crew you'll run into. Also, at night Skull kids come out in the fields. Just to warn you. And if you need a place to stay go to the Karakrio village and there you'll find a house that Belongs to Great Impa. Thats where I live, and sence I'm not going to be around there for a while you can stay there," Link said as he shook hands with Tamke. He did not know if he'd ever return to that house, because once Zelda got better he was going to get married. So he'd be living in the castle. Even if he was not going to get married Impa and Zelda were going to make him stay there night and day. Unless they left out of course.

"Thanks for everything, I wont forget you guys, I hope our paths cross again soon," Tamke then turned to Mika once he shook Malon's and Karzons hands. Mika smiled and So did Tamke. There was something about Mika that he just liked. Not only were their skin tones almost the same color, he just liked being near her. It was weird but he felt it.

"Thanks for helping us get away from your dead father," Mika said as she slapped his shoulder. He then rubbed his shoulder. She had a powerful slap. He did not know if she knew that or not. Or she did and just liked slapping people. But what ever the reason it made him smile.

"Anytime, well I best be going now, I guess I see you guys later," Tamke said as he started walking off. He was not sacred of any skull kids, nor anything else, after seeing his father rise from the grave, he was ready to take on anything. He took one look back at them then headed away, he knew he would see them again. They time date and place was unknown but he knew he would see them again. Mika sighed as she sat down on the ground. She bit her lip as tears started to fall from her eyes.

She tried to wipe the tears away but they kept coming. The others looked over to her. Navi flew around in the air then she flew in front of Mika. Mika covered her face with her hands as the tears started to come out faster. She felt really embarrassed crying in front of them. But she could not help it, it was as if some one had turned on the water works in her eyes and would not shut them off.

"Mika? Mika whats wrong?" Malon asked the first one to notice, and see the tears that were coming rolling down her cheeks. She bent down to Mika, Mika tried to stop crying but she could not stop the tears. How much she wanted to, how much she wanted to tell Malon she did not want to cry any more. First link acted like Jonny and now Tamke had looked like Jonny. When were the gods going to stop tourtuing her? She could not take this pain any more it was driving her mad.

But before Mika could tell her why she was sobbing, a small rumbling sound in the distance grabbed their attention. It was low and soft at first but then it kept getting louder and louder. They looked around, but Karzon was the first one to look up. He did not think looking up would do any good, but he should have figured what ever it was coming from the sky. He simply knew things were weird, but out of all the weird things he had seen in the past few days this one was definitely going on the top. He pointed skywards and they all looked up.

There floating in the air looked like a piece of Land. It flew over their heads and headed off towards death mountain. It seamed like it was going pretty slow but the truth of the matter was it was moving quite faster. They all looked at one another. It must have been Ganon who had done that. But with a flying piece of land? Link covered his eyes, Ganon was not only powerful, but he was extremely powerful now.

"The Sky Garden..." Karzon said as he blinked a few times. Some times he hated how much he knew. As the Sky Garden disappear from sight and the rumbling could not be heard any more Karzon turned towards the others. He knew they were going to ask him how he knew about it. So he though he might as well tell them before they asked. "The Sky Garden is a legendary Flying...Garden. Now for sure I that it was just a legend and would always be a legend. But I guess I was wrong."

"How much power do you have to have...to make it fly like that?" Link asked, he already knew the answer, but just incase Mika and Malon wanted to know as well. He had to ask.

"More then you could ever image...Ganon...must have went threw a lot of trouble to get that damn thing up in the air. And how he found it, it's not even located in Hyrule! Or so thats what the Legend said any ways. And it was not a Shika Legend, but hell it's real all right," Karzon said crossing his arms. Malon did not move from her sitting spot next to Mika.

But she looked up at Karzon. He then sat down and so did Link. They were going to have to take night watches to make sure the skull kids did not come around. And if they did they would have to fight them off.

"So, wonderful that Ganon has all this new power," Link said as he took out the master sword and placed it on his lap. This was something he wished was not true! Why did they have to see that thing flying above their heads. It would have made him feel a little bit better.

"I know how you feel, but, we still have four more pieces of the staff to collect, Ganon comes after we get the staff and heal Zelda and Impa," Malon said and both guys agreed. Karzon then looked at Mika, it seamed she had gotten control of herself. But there was still that question hanging in the air `why had she broken out in to tears?' But like they promised he did not want to question here. But he had to get it out of here.

"Crying helps sometimes, even when you don't know why you cry," Karzon said as he put his hands on his knees. Mika looked over at him, she wanted to know what he was trying to get at. But Malon had caught on. Link would have to if he was paying attention and no messing with his sword.

"Oh I remember this one time, when I started crying because I though I slammed the hammer on my finger, I guess I scared my self so much I started crying," Malon said with a laugh as Link looked up. He remember when Malon had done that. Not only had she scared herself she scared Him and Zelda.

Mika eyed them all then hugged he knees closer to her chest. She felt stupid and she wished they would understand that she was no in the mood to talk about why her water works had exploded. She sighed. She tried to stand up but Malon pushed her back down to the grounds. Mika was not going to get away from them that easy!

"So, yeah crying helps though sometimes you cry over stupid things," Karzon said and Mika bit her lip. One part of her wanted to tell them everything. And the other half was really extremely emotional right now. But if she did not say something soon they would bug her even more.

"This is not stupid," Mika said, at least they were getting some where. Though it was not a fast some where. But the fact was that they were getting some where, and Mika was not crying over something stupid. But they were not going to give up at that.

"Well if it's not stupid, then you would not have had and out burst right then," Karzon said, he did not want to push this to far in fear Mika would get extremely pissed at him. And thats not what they need. But Karzon did not like to be left out in the snow.

"All right! Today was the day I got this fucking thing!" Mika yelled as she stood up and showed them all her scar. She had recently remember after her first out burst into tears. When the Garden was flying over head she retouched her memories and found out why those emotions had take over.

"Ouch, must have hurt," Malon said, still not asking a direct question. But it really did look like it must have hurt when she received it. It was a long wide scar on her side. Mika sat back down again, not wanting to show her mark off any more. Nabour said it was the mark of her now, when ever any one saw Mika's scare they would know of the rules she had broken.

"It did not hurt me psically, but it hurt mentally. I had been so used to being beaten, pain was not an issues. But this was the first time...the first time the Gerudos attacked me mentally. The latterly ripped my hear and soul out when they gave me that scar," Mika said as she hugged her legs again. A little more details were being added. But it simply was not good enough. They really now needed to know what the Gerudos had done to Mika.

"Whoa, ouch, they must have had a reason why they did that though," Link said he knew that was going to piss Mika off and make her spill everything. At least they were managing to do this with out questioning her. But like they guessed Mika got mad. But not at them, at the memory she held deep with in. One she never wanted to talk about. But now she was, not only did she want them to keep pestering her, but she did not want to think that what the Gerudos did was right.

"They had a stupid reason! For their hatred of men! They gave me this! Selfish Gerudos!" Mika said as she sniffed back her tears. She dried her face, she needed every ounce of courage she had in her body to pull this off. To tell them why, how and when she hated her life. She did not want to live any more. She was hopping to be killed already. But with such great people they were not going to let her die.

"Two years ago, A Man, name Jonny came to the Gerudo fortress to deliver some cows Nabour had ordered. I, who was currently working at the bridge that day started talking to Jonny. You could say we hit it off right away. He told me, I should come see him some time. He lived in the Karariko village, with his mother and his father. I said sure, sence I had nothing better to do. I told Nabour of my request to leave the Fortress and she turned me down. Determined to See him again I ran away from the fortress. Of course no one missed me much," Mika said as she placed her hand over her heart. This was harder then she ever could have imagined it could be. But she started it she was going to Finnish it.

"I ran and ran and ran not knowing exactly where I was going. A few days away from the Gerudos, I ran in to Jonny, he was out on his morning run. WE talked bit more and I found out I was in love with this man. IN LOVE! He invited me over for dinner, I went over to his house only to find out his parents had left him there. Stranded him, they packed everything and left. Jonny was so depressed, I stayed with him for the whole two mounts until he recovered from his bitch ass parents leaving him like that. I guess he kind of fell in love with me as well. WE started planning on getting married and moving out of Hyrule. I wanted to leave so the Gerudos would never find me. So a few weeks after he ask me to marry him, we got married," Mika said softly as she reached threw her pouch and pulled out a small piece of gold. She handed it to Malon, Mika then closed her eyes and went on.

"Thats whats left of my wedding ring. So we got married and ran from Hyrule, together. Little did I know...I was going to have a baby soon. If I would have known that I would have dug a whole and stayed in it. But we found a nice little village out the out side of Hyrule, some odd miles out wards. We got a home and settled down. But as lovely fate played out, my Ex-bestfriends father lived in that Very Village. She was bring a note to him from Nabour. She saw me, that stupid...stupid bitch started a fight with me, saying all kind of shit. Then Jonny came out side, what I would have done to make sure he stayed inside. But he came out and Tasha knew, knew we ran away together and got married. She ran off after that. But to the Gerudos. I tried to get Jonny to leave, but he had fallen ill. But I knew what would happen once that back staber got back to the Gerudos. So I picked Jonny up and we fled, but sence he was ill we did not...not make it that far when they caught up to us...." Mika then burst out into more tears. Malon hugged Mika tightly.

Karzon then sat on the other side of Mika and rubbed her back. What had they gotten her into? Link put the master sword away and knew this story was not going to end in a happy way. He put his hands together and smiled slightly to try and make Mika feel better.

"You don't have to Finnish if you don't want to," Link said and Mika shook her head no. she had started it, she was not going to leave them on a cliff. She took in a deep breath and wiped her eyes again. Malon let go of her but put her hand on her shoulder, so Mika would know they were not going any where.

"So the Gerudos found us, I forgot how many times their wip's cracked against my back. But sence I was one of the strongest Gerudos, it really did not have an effect. But Jonny! He was SICK! He was sick and they were beating him! They took us back to Hyrule, back to the Gerudo fortress. I was thrown in this jail thing and Jonny...Oh god Jonny was tied out side on this stupid wall! So when ever a Gerudo walked past they hit him, throw things at him! torment him! All because I broke a rule, a rule of the Gerudos never to get married or have a relationship like I had with Jonny. But why did they take it out on him! It was my fault! I ran away to him! But no, they hated men to they took their anger out on him! Four days of hearing Jonny scream and stuff from the pain, they found out I was going to have a baby. That blew their tops. I was pulled out side and tied to this pole that looked at Jonny. He looked horrid, they had not fed him, they gave him water once in a while so he would not die, no not yet," Mika said, her rage was starting to take over more then her tears.

"They took this sort of tape stuff and taped my eyes opened, so that I could not even think of shutting my eyes. Then they started! They...oh god they killed him! Why I was there watching they killed him. The made it slow and painful! ripped and poke and tore at his body and all I could do was watch. They...they ripped out his heart! Then...then they had the nerve they. They came over to me, pulled out one of the sharpest, longest blades they had and cut open my side. I don't know how they did it with out killing me but they took out my baby! My baby girl Raven! and...." Mika took in a deep breath. At the though of her baby Raven she was choked up in her tears again. The rage was still handgun around but it had slimed down some as they cold tears ran down her face.

"They! THEY THREW RAVEN on the ground and they all...oh god they all started steeping on her! They killed her to! mushed her flat! They killed her...." Mika screamed and started balling out in tears. The image started to replay in her mind. "They should have just killed me! Left me to die! But not they patched me back up and three me in the jail again tell I was able to work again! They killed them both, Raven and Jonny! I HATE THEM! I HATE THE GERUDOS!!"

Malon then took Mika in her arms again. Malon had felt some tears forming in her eyes as well. That was a horrible story! How anyone could be so curl and heartless was beyond her imagination! Karzron then put his arms around the two girls. He never had anything happen to him like that, but Mika's pain was serious and it was spreading to them all.

Link then pushed himself forward and he hugged the three of them. He unlike Malon or Karzon, he started to cry. Knowing he was going to lose a baby, though the baby was not going to be killed like Mika's was it was still going to die. Navi then nuzzled up to Mika's face, this was a crushing seance. They knew now why Mika did not want to be questioned. And they never wanted to hurt her like this ever again.

"Zelda, How are you feeling?" A doctor asked as he looked at Zelda who was starring off in space. She was complete board out of her mind. And every now and then a pain shot threw her body warning her she was so close to death.

"Like the last time to asked..." Zelda mumbled. Impa looked over at Zelda. The two kept one anther entertained. but there were always those quite moments when they had nothing to say just sit and worry.

"Hey gals!" Someone said with a bright and happy tone of voice. Zelda had not heard someone with a happy tone of voice in a few days. And she did not even recognize the voice. Impa on the other hand knew the voice very well. She closed her eyes and threw the bankits over her head.

"Go away," She said bitterly as Zelda sat up. A Pain shot threw her side but she did not let that bug her. If she was going to die, let her sit up before she did. Laying down in this bead was the thing making her sick.

"Impa! Impa thats no way to treat your new doctor!" The man said, Zelda smiled as the man placed his bags on her bed. He shook hands with Zelda then he turned towards him. She threw her blankets off her and sat up. She went pale like she had just seen a ghost!

"NO! GET out of here Todd!" Impa yelled as she pointed towards the door. Zelda smiled, she never saw Impa act like this towards anyone before. It was so not like her and it was so funny. Todd crossed his arms, he had blond hair, but it was a really light blond. He also had a deep shade of brown for his eyes. He turned back to Zelda and shrugged his shoulders.

"Impa, dear, hunny, sweet cheeks, Angle, goddesses, princess, hunny pie....I'm your new doctor, get used to it. I don't see Zelda complaining about me being a doctor!" Todd said as he opened his bag, he pulled out an apple and tossed it to Zelda. She took hold of it then looked at Todd.

"I don't think I'm strong enough to bite into this..." Zelda said, though she really wanted to. It looked so good, and yummy. Todd crossed his arms.

"By the time I'm done with the two of you, you'll be able to bite into a piece of steal and not brake a single tooth but the steal!" Todd said as Zelda put the apple down on the bed.

"Oh no get out of here! Zelda's not scared cause she does not know you like I do!!" Impa yelled as she threw the blankit over her head again. Todd laughed then he bent down and whispered to Zelda.

"She's crazy about me!" Zelda laughed and Todd then took a seat on Zelda's bed. He opened the bag he had with him and started throwing things out. He looked at Zelda who still held the apple in her hands. If he could get her healthy again it would give Link and the others much more time to get what ever it was they were after.

"How do you two know one another?" Zelda asked, she just had to know. One looked happy and Impa looked ready to throw Todd out the window. Todd laughed and Impa threw the covers off herself again. She sat up. Ready to snap at Todd at any given moment. Todd crossed his arms and Impa sighed.

"Zelda he's not who you think he is! He's no doctor!" Impa said, that she was positive she did not have to read minds to know what he was up to. But why did they let him come in here? Saying he could make them better. Zelda was still by far lost in the woods why these two were out in the fields yelling at one another.

Zelda rubbed the back of her head. She then tossed the Apple to Impa. Impa grabbed it with out thinking about it. Zelda clapped her hands for Impa. She knew they were not sick as the other doctors made them out to be. But she knew that did not matter in a matter or weeks she would be dead, if she felt like it or not.

"We used to live in the same kingdom Princess, before Impa left. For Hyrule," Todd said as he brushed his hair back and Impa sighed. For once in his life he had not lied. Imap put her feet off the bed and faced Zelda and Todd. She looked mad, the expression on her face told no lie. Zelda leaned back, this might be the most interesting thing to happen to her until link comes back.

"Your a Lying son of a bitch Todd!" Impa snapped over at him. She tossed the apple back to Zelda. Zelda grabbed it but almost dropped it. She was not as keen on her power as Impa was. Zelda then handed Todd the apple back, sence she was not going to eat it she might as well give it to him tell she could.

Todd said nothing after Impa's comment, he took the apple and put it in his bag again. Impa stood up from the bed wanting to go out side, she needed to see the out side world again. But her curse pushed her back down on to the bed.

"Just tell her who you really are! And what are you really doing here Todd? If it was to come and bug me you did a damn good job already! Take your bag and get out!" Impa yelled as she pointed to the door. Todd stood up but he was not about to leave he was not going to take orders from Impa. He just though Zelda should know who he really is.

"Princess Zelda, I'm Prince Toddamiricka of the kingdom of Soul, south of Hyrule. And YES, I'm a doctor. I came here to help but it does not seam your Shika friend does not want to work with me. Her tribe was in Soul. Karzon should be here is he not?" Todd said and Zelda blinked. She felt so stupid everyone knew who she was but she did not even know who the prince of Soul was!

"Yes Young Karzon is here you dip stick! He's out with Link trying to find a cure for us! More then what you could do," Impa snapped. She laid back down on the bed. That still did not show why the two of them hated one another so much. Todd picked up a pillow and threw it at Impa. He smiled as it hit her in her face. She shot back up like he knew she would.

She threw the pillow to the ground no wanting to play games with him. twenty years ago she Left Soul with her Best friend Zelda. She never wanted to see soul of any one from it ever again. Karzon was okay because she did not know him when she left. But the Prince she knew very well.

"Well maybe if we talk about this we can get you two friends again," Zelda said, once someone started a converstationg she needed to know who, what, when, where why and how. She got that from her father. Todd turned and looked at her.

"Okay I'll tell you," Todd said and Impa threw her pillow at his back. She did not want him to say anything. Nothing he ever said was true. She did not want him to start twisting the facts and the truth. She did not Trust him even a little. And if Zelda was still alive she would have felt the same way. Todd looked at Impa and he was smiling. Thats what Impa did not want. She wanted him to hate her just as much as she hated him so they'd never have to look at one another again.

"If you must know Princess, I will be the one to tell not him, he could not tell the truth if it bit him in the ass! I'm surprised he did not tell you his the king of the moon! Huh Todd? Remember! You should because thats why I hate you so much!" Impa spat at him and Zelda raised one her eye brows this was getting no where.

"What?" She asked, Todd frowned and leaned towards Impa. She really did not get over that time. And she was the one who told her to live and forget the past. She should learn to take her own advice. Todd the brushed off his shirt.

"You want to know the truth Impa, At one point in time you did love me. Live and forgive Impa! Get over it!" Todd was now the one to snap at her. Zelda was a bit statisfied. She figured they used to be lovers. No wonder Impa had this suden surge of Emotion. Just the way Zelda had been acting a few nights ago when this happened to her.

Impa bit her lip and Zelda knew she would have shot out her worse to Todd is she was not it the room. But Impa had more respect even though Zelda did not care what so ever how Impa talked around her. Impa then took in a deep breath find the right thing to say before she said it.

"I DID love you, I don't give a rats ass about you any more Todd! I can't get over it how can I get over it? Your just saying that because I did not cheat on you, lie to you, grab your heart and crush it with my fist did I Todd? No you did that to me," Impa crossed her arms, now Zelda got the whole picture. Now that she understood a bit better she knew that Impa stilled cared for him. Just was so pissed off at all the things he had done to even think about Forgiving him. Zelda stood up and walked ever so slowly over to Impa's bed. She sat down next to her and patted her back. The least she could do for ease dropping.

"How many time do I have to say, I'm sorry for you to forgive me!" Todd protested and Zelda could see why she had not forgave him yet. She would not know what she would do if Link ever did that to her. But for her and link the roles were reversed. Todd was the Prince, she guessed he though it was okay sence he was a prince. The Triforce of wisdom shone brightly on her hand, she knew that meant her wisdom was growing and that she was right on this topic.

"I'll never forgive you!" Impa said like she was smashing some dirty bug into the ground with her foot. Todd then sat back on the bed and looked over at the two girls. He was never going to get them better if they hated him. They had to work around this. He was a doctor and he had to help them.

"That was almost twenty years ago! Impa Damit I'm almost forty! Why can't you forgive me? Ever sence you walked- ran out of me. Taking Zelda with you telling all your friends and family good bye. I realized what I had. All the greatness. Your the one who told me you never know what you have until it's gone! Okay I admit! I was a stubborn stuck up Prince. Who had a bug up his ass all day long! What did you ever see in me Impa? But I've changed sence we last saw each other! I GREW UP! I'm a doctor because I like helping people, like you did," Todd said. He was not smile anymore. Impa closed her eyes, she needed to know if this was true. She did not believe him. She had no reason to believe anything that came out of that mouth of his. She read his mind quickly.

Zelda leaned her head on Impa's shoulder. She knew she was reading his mind. Impa opened her eyes. Though she read his mind, her heart never wanted to believe him. After all he had done to her she never even wanted to look at him again. Impa looked down at Zelda, she nodded her head slowly to let her know what he said was True.

"Doctor us up, but you shall never gain my trust back, I don't like you and I never will," Impa said and Zelda hugged her tightly. At least she was giving him a fighting chance like her soon to be husband was fighting for them. Zelda loved Link so much and what he was doing for her was so, wonderful. She knew if Todd proved worthy and did help them out then Impa might just grow back the love she lost.

Link walked threw the dark night, around and around fighting off a Skull kid ever now and then. It was his turn for the night watch. After him it would be Malons turn. They did not want to bug Mika, after her little story they could hardly bear to bother her.

Link took in a deep breath then sat down on the grass over looking the three people sleeping down below. The sighting of the Sky garden was overwhelming. Then he knew they were going to some how have to get up there to face off with Ganon.

The night air blew gently hitting his face then bouncing off in the other direction. He heard footsteps soft at first, it must be another skull kid. Link jumped to his feet and turned around. There was no one behind him. He shook his head. He must be tired and imaging things. He turned back around sharply running into a plate of Armor.

Link jumped back in fright as he looked up the person. It was Ganon! Link reached for his sword but it was gone. He looked around and Ganon laughed. He then moved side ways for Link to see the empty bloody camp sight. Karzon, Malon and Mika were all gone!

"See what could happen in a second Hero! Your not Hero!" Ganon laughed as he forced Link around. Link Eyes widened, he was fully a ware of his surrounding now. He was no on the ground but on the sky garden. there were His friends tied to those sticks. Serria and Mido were standing next to them with their weapons drawn. They had wicked Grin across their faces.

Link turned around again to battle Ganon With or with out his sword. He was not going to mess around any more. Not after what he had done to his friends. But to his shock, Zelda was standing behind him. Battered blood and angry.

"You let me down! You let us all down! We don't need you! Get out of here!" Zelda yelled and with one good shove Link went flying off the side of the Sky garden and headed for the ground below him.

"ZELDA NO!!" Link screamed as he kept falling further and further away from her...

"LINK! Wake up!" Malon yawned as she shook Links shoulder. He shot up from his resting place and looked around frantically. Link had accendently smacked Malon why he was sleeping waking her up just to see him struggling in a night mare.

"That god...just a bad dream..." Link said as he hugged Malon. Malon patted his back. Just like her family, they would usually have nightmares after a bad day. Malon was just lucky her days were not as bad as everyone else's.

"It will be okay! You were dreaming about Zelda huh? I'll re-light the fire you tell me all about it," Malon said as she reached for her bow. Link sighed, as she pulled it back and a fire arrow lit on the bow. She released the fire arrow and it lit the fire again.

"I really don't want to talk about it...." Link said and Malon grabbed a hold of his arm and looked into the fire. Nothing so scary as a nightmare should be kept to one person. she believed dreams had a meaning to them. Something you hardly though about.

"Come on who am I going to tell? The grass?" Malon joked, trying to lighten his mood so he would talk to her.

"All right...."

Karzon was the one who was on the watch for the remainder of the night. He sat up on the hill that over looked their camp and sighed. His blood boiled within his skin as he watched Malon and link laugh, hug and sit next to the fire alone, together.

He did not understand that girl at all. He though he was so good at understanding people. But no, Malon, he did not understand her what so ever. Everything she did was one big puzzle. One minute she was hanging all over link then the next she came bothering him. Then went back to link? Karzon hugged his knees. He never had luck with anything why should it all turn around for him now.

The night slowly turned into dawn. Time field as Karzon cursed sitting on the top of the hill trying to figure out what was mentally wrong with Malon. He never really loved anyone but his mother. That did not count because it was his mother and he was obligated to love his mother. She was also second in command of the tribe.

He watched as Mika slowly started to wake up, Link and Malon the walked over to greet her. She had a ruff night and right now Karzon only cared about her well being. The other two were off his map right now. He got to his feet and started down the hill. When he finally started growing respect for Link, him and Malon pull this little act on him. (no Karzon does not know Link and Malon are related)

"I'm sorry you had to watch so long Karzon, I'll watch your shift tomorrow night," Mika said, a nights rest made her feel better. She had finally gotten control of her tears and she felt like she could not cry for another two years. Karzon smiled as he put his hand on Mika's shoulder.

"No need, it was no big, I'm not a heavy sleeper any ways. We never got to sleep much in my Tribe, Soul had contest battles between, towns, cities, tribes. I'm used to it," Karzon said with a small smile as Malon hugged Mika. Why was it that not matter where he looked Malon always showed her face.

"I though Soul was a peace-"

"We you though wrong Malon," Karzon said harshly before she could Finnish. She Blinked. Malon crossed her arms, that was the last time he took a long shift. If he liked it or not it made him grumpy when he did not sleep.

"Well what are we waiting for? Lets go tot he forest! The staff it waiting for us!" Mika said, Link and Malon agreed as the four of them started to walk off towards the horses. Link Helped Mika up on to her horse. Then he jumped on to Epona. Malon walked over to Ginner and before she could get on Karzon grabbed on to her arm. Malon looked up at him, he did not look to Happy.

"You two go a head well be right there, we know where it is, just don't go to far with out us," Malon said to Link. He nodded then him and Mika road off. Malon then turned back towards Karzon. She really wanted to know what he had to say to her. She was hopping he would say sorry for snapping at her when she tried to ask him about Soul.

"I don't know what kind of little games your trying to pull Malon. But Keep me out of it. Shika's don't like to be played by anyone. So stop why your a head!" Karzon said before letting go of her. Malon was stunned, did she miss something? Something happen why her eyes were closed. She watched as Karzon mounted the horse and road off. As he road away from her only then did it snap.

He must have seen her and link talking last night by the fire. She sighed, he did not know they were family. She did feel a lot close to link ever sence she found out he was realted to her. Karzon must think that she was trying to get with him and Link. She sighed, she had to make this right. It was not her fault she hung over some people sometimes. But she never meant to hurt Karzon.

She then mounted Ginger, she had to get up to them. She had to tell Karzon how she felt and thought. She was not going to lose him over a stupid misunderstanding!

Link and Mika arrived at the entrance of the forest. Link looked over his shoulder and saw Karzon riding up to them and Malon not to far behind. That was really odd for the two of them. He wondered why had happened over night for them to not even be able to look at one another. It was extremely quite odd.

Karzon road up to them. The instant the horse stopped he jumped off the back and landed on his feet. He rolled his shoulders then looked up at Mika and Link who were giving him a confused look. He returned the look wondering why they were still sitting around when they had work to do.

"Well are we going to save Zelda or not?" Karzon said, Mika and Link looked at one another. They got off the horse as Mika watched Malon ride off. Karzon sighed then headed for the entrance. Malon jumped off the horse and ran after him past Mika and Link who were now completely lost.

"I got the impression that they really liked one another... how about you?" Mika said after a moment then looked at Link. He took in a deep breath then dropped his shoulders. Thats what he would have beat but they were both wrong from this little scene they were watching.

"Stop walking away from me!" Malon snapped as she grabbed Karzon's arm. He turned around sharply almost running into Malon. She let go of him the cross her arms. She could not be to mad at him, he was just miss lead. That happened to a lot of people why not to him.

"What do you want?" Karzon snapped "I though I made it clear back there!" He pointed over her head and Malon sighed. She then hugged him, Karzon did not hug her back however he stood still like a tree. Malon then pushed off him. This was going to be a little be more harder then she though.

She looked over her shoulder and Mika and Link where chatting with one another. She was happy they were not going to come over here it was going to make this a lot easier. Karzon crossed his arms as well as a way to mock Malon. She paid no mind to it.

"What ever you think, or what ever you saw...It's so not what is real-"

"What are you talking about?" Karzon asked no getting anything that Malon just said. She frowned, no wonder he did not understand he could not shut his mouth for a moment for her to talk. Malon pulled out her hair tie and started braiding her hair. She did not want to hurt anyone so she kept her mind on something else. Why were men so hard to talk to?

"Me and Link are related! Understand! Were cousins by marriage. He's family, are you understanding this small concept? We are not romantically in volved with one another, he's getting married! So you told me to back off in your own little words, so now you back off! And stop getting mad over something you don't even know anything about!" Malon spat at him then turned and walked back over to Mika and Link. Karzon was now mad, he was not to upset before, but she had really pushed his buttons this time. He would have Understood if she said it plan and smile but she had been snotty with him.

Karzon walked after her. Before she made it all the way to Mika and Link he grabbed her shoulder and turned her around to face him. She looked a little ticked off as well but he was not in the mood to take this crap.

"You know I'm on this mission for one thing and one thing only Malon! Impa sent me on this little joy ride to help Link, not you and not Mika! I'm cool with you guys if your cool with me. Sorry miss priss that you act as if your some type of Whore we picked up off the side of the road. And your right when I you told me I wanted you to back off. Why because, I do! I though I liked you Malon but I guess I was wrong. So you back off and stay away from me and maybe this wont be a bad as a trip as your making it," Karzon pushed her away from him, this time Mika and Link heard everything and were quite taken back. They did not know what to say to either one of them.

Malon backed away from Karzon as well. She was to mad to say anything. Also she was in fear she might attack him and vise veras if they said another word to one another. Karzon then looked at Mika and Link. He turned away from them.

"Are we going to get the next piece of the staff or what? Whats the hold up?" Karzon asked as he walked enraged towards the entrance.

"Right...yes the staff..." Mika said as she grabbed onto Link and Malon and started walking after Karzon. This happened all of a suden she did not know what to think. How had this slipped over her and links head with out giving them the smallest clue? But Mika hopped what ever happened would mend soon. Before they even attempted to battle Ganon.

They walked threw the entrance tunnel to the Forest and they appeared on the bridge again. There was the strong sent of blood again. Link and Malon looked around ever so closely just in cause there was something else hanging around that was invisible. They finally made it across the wooden bridge with out any sight of anything dead or bleeding.

They bent down slightly again as they walked into the other tunnel. Link held his breath, if Serria and Mido had turned evil then that meant this place was going to be a mess. Navi flew out a head of them. And when they heard her scream `hey!' they knew by the tone in her voice that what ever she saw was not good at all.

They decided not to walk any more but run. They ran out of the tunnel and out in the village. Malon covered her mouth as the place was reaking with dead bodies not only of children but of monsters and plants. This place was more then a mess it now looked like a Ghost town.

`Link, Link come ....' Link looked around as the old voice filled his mind. It had to be the Deku tree. Link waved his hand for the others to follow him. They then started to jog off towards the direction of the Great Deku Tree.

Navi was still stunned. More stunned then she had been when the dead woman had changed her into a human. She moved around in circles before slowly following Link. She had to go threw this horrid mess before, she did not want to do it again. If any thing happened to the great Deku Tree she did not know what she was going to do.

She speed up after Link when a Deku baba popped out of they ground and wanted her for lunch. Navi Flew into Links hat at a super speed. Link sighed, he felt sorry for the little fairy this must be horrible for her. Link Lead the way until they were face to face with the Large massive tree. This scene was all to fasmilyer to Link. It was like Time was replaying it's self over and over again. He did not have to be told twice, he knew the great Deku Tree was dead.

"Great Deku Tree!" Link gasped breathlessly. The tree looked like it had gone three a tree shredder. If it could bleed there would be a pool of blood almost as deep as the lake. The Great Deku tree sence their appearance. Navi flew out of his hat again, but when she did she fell to the ground in a faint. Malon bent over and scooped the fairy up in her hands. Link was still to much in his shock to notice that Navi had fainted. Nor did he know a fairy could.

"You can't die again!" Link yelled up at the tree but it said nothing. Link then ran from his standing spot up to the tree. Mika wanted to go follow him but she knew he had to do this one little thing alone. Link slowed to a walk as he approached the Great Deku Tree. He reached his hand out and touched the trunk. He was never able to do this before. Only the time he had to venture inside to get rid of the evil with in him.

"Healing..." The Deku tree said. Link closed his eyes and these words filled his mind. They were not of the Deku tree how ever. `The Deku tree shall die soon. It's own children killed him, now they all die with him. When they all die everything in the forest will disappear. Tough you can not bring it all back with the staff of Healing. Once you get to the end of the temple there shall be a Tree. Plant it here and the forest will go back to normal minus the Children and Deku Tree.'

Link opened his eyes and stepped back from the tree. It had happened again, he let the Deku tree die. Link got down on one of his knees and bowed his head for respect to the dying tree. Or already dead tree. Now Mika took a step forward. They had been there for her when she was in tears she was going to be there for Link and the others if they shed a tear.

Mika started walking down the hill towards like followed by Karzon. Malon stood there and waited for a moment. Karzon Grabbed Mika's shoulder. They both Disappeared and reappeared down next to Link. Malon sighed then sat down where she was standing still holding the little fainted Navi in her hands.

"That Shika will case many of problems for me...." Dark Link said as he sat up above the entrance to the Great Deku tree. None of them had see him or even heard him. She watched them move around down there but what caught his eyes the most was how Karzon had telaported. There was a another big jump they were going to have to make to get into the next Temple. If Karzon was there it would just turn up the way it did before. He was going to Teleaport. Though it was not that far or strong. The matter was, he could make it.

Dark Link Got to his feet and looked around. There had to be something he could do to get rid of the Shika. He then looked down and Saw Malon. He had also been there when the two where fighting. This was perfect.

Dark Link turned invisible then jumped down from his spot above them. Malon looked around as she heard him Jump. Malon then slowly got to her feet just incase something was coming. Dark Link slowly waked over to her. Before Malon could say a word to the others Dark Link put is hand over her mouth.

"I know You don't like that Shika, so I'm going to help you get rid of him!" Dark Link said as he turned back normal. Malon's eyes Widened as he smirked. A Black fog quickly went into her eyes. Malon blinked the Weird feeling away as Dark Link disappeared once again.

Malon felt sick, she backed up a few feet then fell down to the ground. Her eyes hurt, she just wanted to rip them out. Her stomach was turning and her heart pounded against her chest. She closed her eyes again. She wanted the world to stop spinning. She then heard foot steps all around her voices chatting. What was going on? She force her eyes opened. And Link was standing above her. Before she could think about the matter she screamed and shot side ways thinking about the person who had done something to her eyes. He looked just like Link, but a lot scarier.

"Malon you okay?" Mika said as she placed her hand on Malon's forehead. She was hot and sweaty. She might have come down with the flu or something. Or she got so sick from all the blood around them. Malon hugged Mika and closer here eyes again they hurt so much.

"This guy who looked like Link...did something to my eyes..." Malon said as she let go of Mika and rubbed her eyes. Mika and Link were confused they had never seen Dark Link before. But Karzon knew what she was talking about. He was the reason why he lost his arm in the first place.

"Some one who looked like me?" Link asked and Malon nodded. How many times did she have of say it before they understood.

"There is someone wondering around that Looks like you Link. He's Dark Link so to say. He's the one who cut off my arm," Karzon said and Link stood up right again. He took in a deep breath. He turned towards Karzon. He had not more doughts that there was someone running around with his appearance. It happened before as well, the last time he was going to save Hyrule.

But this matter was odd, he did something to Malons eyes? She seamed almost normal, the only difference was she might be running a fever. She was still holding on to Navi. Malon looked at Karzon and her eyes Flashed Red. Link caught sight of this very fast. He looked at Karzon then Back at Malon. Dark Link must have planned something. But right now he fully did not understand.

"Malon look at me," Link said, She did what she was told. She looked at Link, her eyes did not flash any freaky colors. It seamed like nothing had happened. Link pointed his finger towards Mika. Malon Looked at Mika. Still Nothing. Then Link pointed at Karzon. As her eyes landed on Karzon they flash red again. This time Karzon and Mika had seen what her eyes were doing. they were both scared and understood why Link was making her look at everyone.

"Whats wrong with me?" Malon asked. Link walked over to her and placed his hands on her shoulder. He stood in front of her so she could not See Karzon. She did feel extremely weird overtime she looked at Karzon.

"I think Dark Link might have enhanced your hate. I think it was Him who turned Serria and Mido into evil kill monsters," Link said. Witch was a bad choice of words. Malon turned pale in her face and she looked like she had gone into some kind of shock. She though she was the one who was going to turn evil. Link patted her cheek then he took Navi from her and put Navi into his hat. Not like he did not trust Malon. But it only took less then a day to turn Serria and Mido into killers. He was not sure if that was going to happen to Malon but he did know she had some evil floating around in her head.

"I wont hurt any of you! I know I was fighting with Karzon earlier but I don't want to kill him!" Malon said in a desperate voice. Where they going to leave her? What if she did turn into some kind of killer? She would be such a treat for them. And Then totally for Karzon.

"Calm down Malon, Were not going to leave you, you need love and care right now. The only thing that can over power evil is love am I right? So take a deep breath, we can't do this with out you," Mika said trying to calm Malon down. Malon took in a few deep breaths as a green light started to appear in front of them.

It grew lager and lager. Then in changed it's self from a ball of light, to a door. It was a green and brown door, with carvings of dead people. A live people, but most important, there was a staff on the door. Malon quickly took out the staff of healing and compared it to the staff on the door. they were identical. Malon but the staff away. Then it hit her.

She took her bag from off her shoulder and handed it to Mika. She could not hold on to it any longer. She did not want to have two pieces of the staff if she did turn evil. That would totally mess up everything. Impa and Zelda would not live. Mika put the bag over her shoulder. It felt wrong to hold it. Malon should be carrying it around but she understood why.

Link walked over to the door. He looked behind it, and around it nothing was there just a big door. He walked around back the front of it and took the handle in his hand. He turned it slowly then pulled it opened. He looked into another world. This was amazing, he stepped into the door. Malon ran in after him, the Mika walked threw. Karzon then walked into the door shutting it behind him so no stray monsters could wonder in it.

"Whoa! This is so weird its not funny," Mika said as she looked around the place they had just entered. It was more then forest it was as if it was a jungle! Weird birds flew above their heads. and some jungle animals ran past them.

"Not again!" Link cursed as he kicked a rock over and down into what appeared to be a cliff again. Did every temple have one of these? Link turned around, Karzon walked over to him. He nodded his head and Link smiled. At least he knew they were going to make it across. Karzon was now a great help to this mission and Link was glad Impa and convinced him to bring Karzon along.

"Get away from him!" Malon screamed, Link and Karzon turned sharply and looked at Malon. Her eyes were now deep blood read. She held her hand out towards Karzon. Mika jumped back slightly away from Malon. Her out burst had scared her.

"Malon clam down they are going to get us across the gap!" Mika said as she put the bag down. She went to grab Malon but before she could touch Malons skin she was zapped. Mika jumped back again as she waved her hand around in pain.

"Link get away from him now!" Malon screamed again. This time louder and much less like the Malon the knew and loved. A strong wind started picking up, plants started waving around as if some storm was coming. Malon was getting madder and madder as her eyes were locked on Karzon.

"Malon stop!" Link yelled at her, before he could move towards her a vine wrapped around his feet and yanked him to the ground. Link hit the dirt face forward. He winced in pain as his shoulder hit a rock on the way down.

"Karzon Get out of here!" Mika yelled her attempts to stop Malon here no use. Then some vines started wrapping themselves around Mika. She yanked and she struggled to get free bit it was not use. It was just Malon and Karzon.

"Malon please get control of yourself!" Karzon said kindly, he forgot about their fight they had early, he just though about how much he carried for her. Now not only had Dark Link almost killed Zelda and Impa he had took control of the person whom he cared about the most. And now she was going to kill him.

Malon Lifter her hands in the air and A huge beast like monster shot up and out of the hole. Karzon turned around sharply. He did not know witch one to look at, Malon or the monster. It was big and looked like a plant. With Vines for hands. It's head looked like a fly trap. It lashed one of it vine hands at Karzon. He jumped out of the way as hit tried to smack him again.

Karzon looked back at Malon. Her eyes were opened but they were back to her normal color. The black mist came out of her eyes and headed towards the monster. Once all the black mist came out of Malons eyes. Her eyes shut she fell down to the ground in some sort of faint. The monster screamed and roared in pain as the black mist entered it's body.

It then looked sharply at Karzon. It threw all it's vine hands at him. They wrapped around his body. Karzon yelled. But it was not uses he was stuck in this trap with the monster. He tried to close his eyes and tealaport but when he tried to think about Tealporting the monster would squeeze him tighter making him lose his concentration.

"KARZON!" Mika yelled as they vines started to lose up on her. she started ripping them off her. She could not lose Him not know. She managed to rip all the vines off her arms then she started ripping at her legs. The monster was heading back down into the hole! And he was taking Karzon with him. Mika broke free from the vines and started running after The Monster. Then Dark Link appeared in front of her. She ran into him and fell backwards. He was not effect by her running into him. Link Looked up and saw Dark Link. Then the vines on link started to loosen up as well. Once his arms were free he grabbed the sword and started cutting at the remaining vines that were on him.

He jumped up to his feet. Dark Link turned and smiled as he saw Link. Link then looked over into the hole. The Monster was gone and so was Karzon. Link growled and looked at Dark Link again who just smiled.

"Never though you had to see me Hero? But now your Friend is going in to the hands of Serria and Mido! And you all know ever well how much the two like to play with their victims. I'm guess he will be on a stick in a matter of moments," Dark Link smiled ever so haply. Mika covered her mouth she started breathing slowly. If anything happened to Karzon she would never forgive herself. "Well I have matters to go over with Ganon at the sky Garden. It's not time to fight you guys yet. But be scared when that time comes. Your going to end up like your friend Karzon."

"Don't you leave!" Link yelled he darted at Dark Link but he disappeared leaving link to grab onto nothing. Link threw the master sword down in rage. He had just used Malon to transport that dark mist to the monster. He knew that they would bring Malon everywhere. Karzon could have easily taken that monster out. Link was so Mad if Ganon showed his face up right abut now. Link would have taken his head off with his bare hands.

"Malon...Malon are you okay?" Mika said as she patted Malon on her cheek. She had to come around sooner or later. They were a team not just her and Link. Malons eyes slowly started to open again. She did feel like her normal self again. A little dizzy but her fever was gone and her eyes felt normal as well. What ever Dark Link had done to her was gone now.

"Where's Karzon?" Malon asked, Mika gave her a hug and Malon knew it was not Good. Malon pushed away from Mika and got to her feet. "Where is he!?" Malon yelled as she ran over OT Link. Link bit his lip and shook his head. Karzon was gone! He was gone and it was all her fault. Malon fell to her knees again and started crying. "I'm sorry Karzon! Oh my god I'm so sorry....."

"Were going to get him back Malon, and it's not your fault this happened," Link said as he bent next to the sobbing Malon. He rubbed her back as she was still crying in to her hands. It was her fault this had happened. She should have nicely told Karzon that she was link were related instead of making him more madder by being cocky. If she would have just been nicer to him in the last half and house this never would had happened. She would have had not reason what so ever of being mad at him.

"It is my fault..." Malon sobbed as Mika walked over to them and sat down as well.

"Malon things happen, the only thing we can do now is go threw the temple and pray we get to him first. Before he his killed. He will stay alive as long as we know he is alive. We can't dough him. Serria and Mido are grewsome. But something tells me they but their victims threw pain. And get this, a live bate is better then a dead one, they are not going to kill him, not yet any ways," Mika said as she patted Malons head. Link looked up at her. Mika's words were strong and true. She had a point. They were not going to give up un till Karzon was safe with them once again.

They were not going to lose him, not now, not ever.
