Loin's Discovery
Two weeks later we find our party of Jesse, Mateo, Emir, James, and Loin still searching for clues to the mystery of Baltimore. Loin searches the harbor docks and is very hungry he stops and looks around for a spot that he could find a decent meal. The bench smells like the sea; he looks to his left a young lad plays tag with his friend near a fishing vessel. The men laugh at the kids as they unload the catch of the day. To Loins right a man dressed and cloaked with evening black and walks with a limp. He carries a heavy sack that Loin can not tell what is inside. He guesses that it's something from the fish market but sees that the man struggles to pick up or even walk with the sack so he goes over to ask the man if he wants his assistance. "Sir, I can not help notice that you look weighed down greatly so can I help you" Loin said the man didn't even acknowledge him just limped on and stopped on the same bench that Loin was sitting on. The nerve Loin thought as he stared at the man feeling disrespected and shocked. Maybe he didn't hear him Loin thought he does look old and most old men lose there hearing. Loin approached the man again and in a loader tone repeated. "Sir, I can not help notice that you look weighed down greatly so can I help you" Loin said this time the man looked up with acknowledgement shook his head yes and went on by dropping his bag at Loin's feet.
"I heard you the first time sir and I just needed a sit I'm sorry for not saying yes thank you," the man said paused and continued, "but you know you what would you be interested in carrying my bag". Loin almost dropped were he stood he began to laugh at himself and carried the bag to the home of the man and the man then said, "thank you now I must repay you take this map it will lead your party to the clues to solve the secret that you all seek.
Loin was astonished how the man knew about the quest that he was on, but no matter he carried on back to the inn where he was approached by the young leader Jesse. She stared at Loin and Loin stared back. Her eyes once strong and beautiful full of tears and sorry-full. Loin did not ask just showed her the map and explained his encounter to Jesse. She burst out in a rage of laughter and excitement for the quest was to be lost and dropped for certain but with a new lead and hope still left Loin and the rest of the party set their sights on solving the mystery of Baltimore.
