Break Out And The Lightless Saints

Tarin nuzzled Arda's next as they sat in the main mess hall, him purring as he inhaled her scent on his lap. “Tarin stop it, we are in public!” she whispered to him as she blushed furiously as the other demons looked at them.

“So?”

“Ugh, you are hopeless, besides I haven't bathed in days…”

“Good.”

“Why is that good?”

“I am a demon wolf, guess how we clean each other…”

“I don't want to know…”

“We pick bath partners of the opposite sex and…”

“I am listening now.”

“We lick each other clean, all over.”

“Ohhhh…we should try it sometime…” seriously thinking it over.

“Come on Tarin, we have to get out of here, what's the game plan?” Triach asked standing in front of the table.

“I am a follower, not a leader.” Tarin said. Even though he was working on how to get out even as they spoke.

“Stow it Tarin, you know what to do.” Triach but in, placing down the tray.

“Hm, you just met me and now you know what I am like?”

“I am an excellent judge of character.”

“Sure. I am thinking we manage to hook up with the boss of the prison.”

“The warden?” Arda asked.

“No, the kingpin so to speak.”

“I hear he is quite the womanizer.” Triach said thinking about what a man could look like. “What if he asks if he can have Arda for a night?” Triach asked to tease, but Tarin bit down on the bite mark of Arda's neck.

“She's mine.” He said still attached to her neck.”

“Ow…Tarin, that hurt.” Arda said patting his head.

“Hm, we could talk to him for help.” Triach said

“Here is a question though, where are Sasha and Bellas?” Tarin asked, looking around.

“They are in a juvenile center across the wall.” Triach said with slight sadness dipping into her voice. “Tarin can you hold out your wrist?”

“Why?” Tarin asked holding his wrist.

“I am a vampire, lacking food for a couple days, I need some blood.” Triach said as Tarin hesitantly held out his wrist to her.

Her hands graceful took the offered meal and sank her teeth into it. The blood filled her mouth, reviving her; energizing, the blood had an odd flavor, odd but very good.

“She's a vampire!” an inmate yelled as the mess hall filled.

“Damn, and I was hoping to get laid…”

“Wait, is that Arda Transit?” one asked pointing to Arda.

Arda's head flipped from side to side as she saw the faces of the men, some looking at her in a very suggestive manner…Tarin did not like this, as he started to growl, Triach removed her teeth from his wrist.

“Tarin…kill them please…” Arda tried to shudder out at the whispering figures.

“Who are the new guys?” came a light airy voice from the back.

The crowd opened up as a rather lean-muscled demon stepped forward. He had blonde hair in one tight braid going down to his ankles, as his orange eyes scanned over the group, slowly going over Triach's face with a glimmer of an emotion known to Tarin and Arda…

The orange-eyed man spoke; “Disperse.”

“But boss…” one man spoke, ugly man, with collapsed facial features and one dead eye.

“I said leave.” He waved his right hand in the air and sat next to Triach across from Tarin and Arda.

The crowd dissipated and the blonde man just kept looking at Triach, causing her to blush, he was a very handsome man. He had high cheekbones, a stronger, more defined chin and his nose was perked up just enough. His eyes were constantly one Triach as the crowd left; she could see the deep orange of his eyes and some intent of his that sent a shudder down Triach's spine.

His dog-ears hung over on his head and his white tail hung along his legs, slightly wagging. He wore a simple leather cloak, open to reveal a thick denim shirt, he was ready for battle, his boots had stainless steel soles and his pants were nothing more than jeans, but he looked absolutely like a warrior.

“There are other people here…” Arda rang out, deepening Triach's blush as she tore her eyes away from this blonde man's smirking face and glimmering eyes.

“I thought you wanted less attention?” Tarin asked looking down at her.

“May I ask the name of malady?” the strange man asked taking Triach's hand and kissing the back of it.

Triach gave an involuntary smile, her teeth slightly pink thanks to her last meal, but that did not detour this audacious young man. “Just so you don't think I lied to you, I am a vampire…” Triach's voice cracked a little bit as she looked at him.

“That should deter me how?” his voice was light an airy as when he first spoke. “I still have yet to know this beauty's name…”

“He certainly is a charmer…” Arda muttered, Tarin tightened his hold on her.

Triach's voice caught in her throat. “I-I…um…uh…”

“Her name is Triach.” Arda gave a little smirk at Triach's loss of voice.

“Such a lovely name for such a lovely lady.” He smirked and looked at the fangs she still bared. He heard rumors about how vampire fangs are the greatest aphrodisiac, and always wanted to try that theory out, but that thought never even crossed his mind.

“Why…uh…thanks?” she was stumbling head over heals over the demon she just met, in jail. “I have yet to know your name, kind sir.”

“Ah, my name is Yoroy.” (That's right folks; my favorite character is back in the game and ready for action! For those who have stuck with me since the rise [and fall] of `The Demon Boys and Girls' you will know this smooth talking demon, with some adjustments for the better or worse, you decide.)

“That is a nice name, what are you in for?” Triach asked losing some of her fear.

“I started a small slavery rebellion.” He answered slightly angry and looking away now.

“Did I say something wrong?” Triach asked as Tarin and Arda drifted off into their own world.

“No, just some painful memories, but lets forget that for now.” He smirked again and looked completely into her eyes.

“Why are you looking at me like that?”

“Just looking at how beautiful you are.”

Triach was now getting a bit suspicious, she was in her thirties, and like any thirty-something-year-old woman, she didn't think herself worthy of notice over Arda. “You aren't just saying this to get into my pants are you?” her voice flattened out.

“That wasn't the last thing to cross my mind, but it certainly was not the first.”

“What was the first?” He is good…

“What was this beauty's name.”

“The next?”

“If we could get out of this prison, I would certainly love to be with you for every second of the day.”

“That might be able to be arranged…me and my friend's here need to see the king-pin of the prison.” Triach said without thinking.

“You are looking at him.”

“EEP!” Triach held her hand to her mouth. “Tarin, meet Mister King-Pin!”

Tarin turned his attention away from Arda and now to the golden man in front of him and Arda.

“You, are the king-pin?”

“I prefer commander, but yeah. I practically own this place.”

“We need to get out of here.”

“What makes you special?”

“I am a half-ling slave, and this is my mate, Arda Transit.”

“You, are the lover of Arda Transit?” his mouth fell open. “A kid like you?”

“Technically, we have never been `together'…”

“So you can't be mates.”

“That is not the frickin' point.” Arda grabbed Yoroy's collar and brought his face near her snarling face.

“I see your point…” Triach started pulling Yoroy back.

“So what do you want of me?”

“I figure that prison is run like a demon society; the strongest and smartest rule, if so, we want your help to get out of here.

We also need to get to the juvenile center is, we have two girls there.”

“Wait, I thought you two have never been `together'…”

“We haven't…”

“They aren't yours are they?” he asked Triach.

“No, they are adopted, if you will, one of them thinks I am her mother though.”

“Hm…you have a plan of escape?”

“You will help us?”

“Not for you or Arda, but for this little beauty.” He held onto her chin and smiled at her.

“I have a plan, tonight, hopefully, we have Arda fake sick, and when the guard comes in, I knock them out and grab the keys. You do know the inside of this prison well right?”

“Yes, I do.”

“Good, we need to get out of here as quick as possible.”

“So, the quicker we get out of here, the better chance we have of saving these little girls and escaping ourselves?” Yoroy stroked his chin for a moment. This kid is smart, no wonder he is with Arda.

The dreary prison started gaining some color to Yoroy, this place became just like any other place in the world to him, a place he could leave at almost anytime, tonight that is.

“Wait though, can any of you guys leap walls?” he asked thinking of the cement and barbed wire fence they needed to jump.

“I can, if you can, we can carry both the girls over the fence too.” Tarin said instantly without even thinking, he knew his stuff.

“This has a good chance of working, but for more speed, maybe we should carry the girls while we run, okay?” he asked, thinking more of holding Triach than escaping.

“That would save us more time, actually…” he thought more of Arda than the escape. “We also need to gather a few things, some weapons they confiscated from us. A priceless revolver and portable spear.”

“I know where they are keeping those.”

“Good, if things get messy we might need those.”

“Maybe they still have my swords.”

“Your swords?”

“Yes, an ancient sword with the word Excalibur written on the sheath and a sword that has the word Shadow on it. I have yet to be able to draw Excalibur from it's sheath, it is a very special sword.” Yoroy explained.

“Hm…maybe Tarin can wield the sword.” Arda spoke from the few times she had.

“I doubt it, it wants a true warrior, not a kid like him.” Yoroy said with a playful laugh, he liked Tarin; he was someone Yoroy wouldn't mind having for a friend.

“I am a true warrior, I can prove it too, get the strongest demon you can out for a fight, he will lose.” Tarin said with a smirk.

“Your on, if you win, you can HAVE Excalibur. But if my guy wins, I get Triach for a night.” That was a joke, but it certainly aroused Triach. Tarin just gave a laugh.

“Either way you get Triach, so I think it is a win-win situation for you, isn't it?” Arda gave a small chuckle.

Recess cam quick for Tarin as he worked and thought. No one but Yoroy stood in front of him. “Where is that stronger demon?”

“I am the strongest demon here, lets see if you can beat me.”

Yoroy didn't move, his specialty was defense, not offense. Tarin charged in, being able to win with both positions. His fist collided with a blur as Yoroy took a step back quickly. Tarin gave a smirk as Yoroy's fist stuck him, but went straight through, not even a blur.

“I am still waiting.” Tarin yawned and moved his hand to his mouth.

“Very good kid, but don't think I don't know this trick.” One of his greatest moves was revealed as he blasted light at the one area where he could pull off this trick, behind Yoroy.

He smirked as he came to face Tarin after an explosion was made. “I am still right here.”

He was moving on pure speed, no trickery. “You are good, but you have yet to meet a real fighter.” Yoroy's eyes closed as the lids turned black, he opened them for a flaming orange look completely covering his eyes.

Tarin's eyes opened also to reveal cobalt blue. The two charged towards each other as their fists collided lightning rose from the earth, swirling around the two. The colors shifted as they struggled to hit each other, only to collide with nothing or a strong defense.

Triach and Arda were watching from behind a thick wall, on Arda's better judgment. They gasped as they saw the two boys turn from humanoid beings to complete monsters.

Tarin licked his lips as they became very dry from the heat of their fight. Yoroy smiled evilly as Tarin started winning. He fell backwards and grasped Tarin's wrists, throwing him behind him as he flipped to his feet, Tarin landing gracefully one his hand, kneeling.

His smile grew darker as his fists started glowing black, he lunged forward with such force, that the dust kicked up off the ground, bullets from the guard tower rang out towards the two, but burnt up before they struck the two.

Tarin's fist collided with Yoroy's face for the first time, singeing his cheek as Yoroy flew back. Yoroy left his fighting spirit behind as he held his cheek, Tarin closed in slowly, menacingly. “Whoa! Hold on, kid, you won!”

Arda started running, as Tarin did not stop, she lunged at him, her arms around his neck. “Tarin snap out of it!” she smacked him across the face.

He looked dazed, but not completely Tarin yet. She kissed him this time, him looking surprised, he started to kiss back and Arda left his face. “You ever do that again, I will kill you!” She snarled out, as he held her to hid body, mostly involuntary.

His head leaned back as she fumed in his face. In mid sentence of her chewing him out, a hand pushed Tarin's face towards Arda's and they kissed. Arda grabbed the sides of Tarin's head and kissed him hard.

Yoroy and Triach started to giggle behind them as Tarin became confused. “The kid is really strong.” He said, holding onto his burnt cheek.

“Let me see that.” She said turning him around. She looked closer at the black skin marring his perfect face, she sunk her teeth into his skin and drank some of his blood, and Yoroy certainly felt a pull. Soon she had her fill and licked the wound clean, the black skin now dust from the healing powers of her saliva.

“What, how…” he asked as he touched his cheek.

“Vampire saliva has a healing agent because when we bite the neck of our partner, we don't want them to bleed to death.” She said to him.

“Tonight, are we still on?” Yoroy asked still amazed of his cheek.

Tarin gave a thumb up, as he collapsed from Arda being held leaning on him.

“She is really affectionate, isn't she?” Yoroy asked, seeing Tarin struggle with Arda.

“Well, she gets emotional, I remember visiting her when Drakuse and her were kids, I was Drakuse's care taker. She was the sweetest little girl, always defending her workers from Drakuse who hated everyone not family or friends. She always gave Tarin special attention, I didn't even remember this until last night.”

“What was Tarin like when he was younger?”

“He was very quiet, and constantly beaten, he was crying a lot. Arda always hugged him when he cried, she loved him dearly, and always did.” She leaned against a cement wall as Arda came u for air. “He always hated those who dared to hurt Arda, he fought back. He was the most beautiful child, with the reddest back, they whipped him when he was misbehaving.”

“Bastards.”

“I was the slave Drakuse, his sex slave until I turned thirty.” She began to well back tears.

“Little fucker…” he said, his hands clenching at his sides.

“I think I became ugly, not even worthy of a fling.” She began to cry again, it was Drakuse who ruined her life; Drakuse ruined everyone's life.

Yoroy cupped her cheek; he gave her a kiss on the cheek. “Beauty, you are by no point ugly.”

They were ushered to their respective cells as Arda had her fill of Tarin. Soon night fell and there were fewer guards out. “GUARD! Come quick! Arda is sick!” Tarin shouted out as Arda held her gut and moaned.

“What's the problem?”

“Arda, she is sick, hurting real bad! You need to help her!” Tarin nervously rambled out.

The guard took out his ring of keys and opened the gate. He peered over at Arda, she grinned and blew him a kiss as a Tarin double fisted the poor guy's skull.

“That is my girl, don't touch her.” Tarin grasped the keys and picked up Arda.

“Let's get Triach out and then Yoroy.” Tarin turned to Triach's cell, but it was empty. “Shit!”

“Tarin, down here, we both are here.” Yoroy's orange eyes glowed in the dark as his head stuck out of the bars.

Tarin opened up the cell and let Yoroy take lead to the weapons room. Tarin let Arda down as she grasped her revolver from the desktop and searched for some extra ammunition.

“Where is this Excalibur I won?”

Yoroy pointed to a locker where Tarin busted open, Yoroy grabbed his swords. “Try to draw your new weapon.” Triach stood behind him, her lance spread to its fullest.

Tarin drew the sword out of the sheath as if it were greased. “This is Excalibur?” he asked as he saw the edges nicked. He looked at the nicks more carefully, realizing they were made for a purpose.

“Tarin, I can't open this drawer, can you bust it open?” Arda asked, still looking for some ammo.

“I have a hunch…” he pointed the sword at the lock and it slid in easily, unlocking the lock and opening the drawer.

“Wow…it is a skeleton key…” Yoroy said as he stared at the blade. The hilt was finely made into the form of a dragon, the mouth equal with the seam in the middle of the blade. The wings formed hand guards, and the tail formed the steel hilt.

“Not only that, but we have company…” Arda said loading her revolver with the ammo she found and pulling boxes upon boxes into her pockets and Tarin's and Triach's.

The sword flashed gold as the nicks disappeared and it was replaced with the thick and strong steel. “Whoa…”

The guards came in, Tarin's sword and Yoroy's blade landing in their guts. Tarin removed his blade and whipped it in the air, the blood splattering against the far wall. “Let's go.” Tarin said, sheathing his sword and tying it off on his belt. The simple brown sheath going with his beige pants.

The rest of the way was clear as they jumped the wall, moving to the detention center, Tarin sniffing out the girls and jumping to their barred windows, prying them from the wall.

“Daddy!” Sasha said as she lunged at him.

“I missed you two also.” Tarin said hugging the two of them. “Come on Bellas, your mother is waiting for you.” They held on as he jumped out of the window.

“That went smooth as silk.” Yoroy said perplexed.

“When I hit you, you landed against an electrical box connecting to the lights and alarm.”

“Oh…”

“Who's this?” Bellas asked.

“Lets talk later, we still have to get out of this bubble.”

The group ran off into the darkness as a group of people's monitors blinked with their show ending.

---

“Butch, do you think they can help us?” One man asked his voice rather light and high for an adult.

“I think so sir, I am not sure, but they seem to have powers hidden in all of them.” A high feminine voice answer.

“Good, follow them to the city of the Fallen, and then give them my proposition. We will need all the help we can get.”

“Sir, yes sir!” the female left the man alone. Is he…nah, he can't be, can he? Can he really be the son of… The monitor blinked on the only good shot of Tarin's face. Hm…if he is, he is by fr, the most useful…
