Morge had shook of the blow and walked out before realizing he didn't know how to contact the man. He shrugged, -just one more fat, unwanted, lazy-ass I'll be getting rid of.- He thought. Besides he was rather good at tracking people, with his heritage and all. Morge started jumping from roof to roof until he go to the apartment building the room was in.
“My god! This whole building smells terrible!” He said in a mock yell. He took the fire escape down, until he got to the fourth floor window.
“Room 4G.” He smiled as he opened the unlocked window, “Too easy”
He Slid inside after making a quick inspection of the place. Empty Pizza boxes, dirty clothes, and a T.V still on with a recliner in front of it. The Recliner made snoring sounds.
“Okaay… this is really too easy. There's gotta be a trap somewhere…” He looked around the room his ear swiveling to hear what his eyes couldn't see. “Nothing… Wow…” He pulled out a knife and frowned, still worried about the simplicity of it all. He slit the mans neck, still wearing the worried from when he got to the window.
“Closed? But I could of sworn…” He looked around the room and deciding it has slid down pulled it open with much more effort (and cursing) than last time. Finally getting it open he slid out, having it almost close on his stomach. He started walking away and going down the fire escape, watching his surroundings listening to the street. -What in the name of Talia*? How the Hell did it close? Why?-
H arrived home out of breath and twenty minutes early. This was the first time he had run since He had become an assassin. He unlocked his door and got inside, opening the book of Fang*.
It read:
Do Not Murder Any of Thy Pack
Do Not Hunt Thy Brother
Do Not Harm the Land
Do not Spill the Blood of an Innocent
He stopped reading abruptly not caring to hear the rest. Now was a time to seek the Mercy of the wolf gods. -If it was them- Part of his logical brain answered, the human part. Morge sat down where he was and said the ancient trade words.
“I have my luck to give for your mercy, Taekin*, If that will not be accepted I have my spirit or body.”
