"Terra of Crystal"
-------------------------------------------------------------- -----------------
"What! You fail me," said King Robert on his throne.
"I was so close of defecting them, but something happened," said Nala as she was
bowing out King Robert's feet, "But sir I tell you this, I want to kill them
all. I hate them, I want to see their blood run free from their bodies."
"Good, good. Katie, I want to have a feast in your honor. You have surpass your
duty as an advisor and made me this perfect killing machine."
"But it was my honor to please you, my highness," said Katie, "You don't have to
give me a feast. I'm not worthy of it."
"You are more than worthy of it. Tonight we feast on the finest foods in this
country. And we will have the best entertainment in all the lands."
"You are truly great, my highness. I don't know how can I every we pay you."
"By making me a great army of your creations."
"I will be honor."
(
"So are you sure the crystal diamond pointed here?" said Wanderer.
The group was now in Crystal City. The whole city was one big crystal with
beautiful cravings everywhere. And when the sun shines in it, it lights up with
the most wonderful color. It was famous for it and being one of the greatest
musses of the Freelands. Tons of writer and playwrights came here to get
inspired for they greatest work here.
And it's the only or was the only place to find fairies out of the Fairy
Kingdom. There used to be hundreds of fairies here, but now only a handful here
and there was left. Only half-fairies ran around here now, and they're tons of
them singing, dancing, and causing mischief.
The different between half-fairies and fairies are that half-fairies has human
blood in them which make them tall like humans, but they act more like fairies
than humans. And to tell a half-fairy from a human is that the half-fairy will
have two different colors in their hair and pointy ears. Some have wings and
some don't, so don't count on just looking for the wings.
Kismet felt a little bit at home here. It's been awhile since he saw someone of
his own kind. And Ruby and Apollo was amazed be it all.
"I can't believe I'm here. You know how long I wanted to come to this place?"
said Apollo in amazement.
"No. How long?" replied Kismet.
"Since I saw my first play, The Town of Fairies by Terra of Crystal. She's one
of the greatest writers in the world and you know she lives here in the city."
"So. What so big about her? She seems pretty normal to me," said Wanderer.
"WHAT! You know Terra of Crystal and you don't tell me this. It seems like I
don't know you anymore."
"Good, if it means you stop annoying me."
"Can you take me to her house? Please, please, please, please, plEEEEase!"
"No."
"Wh...wh...wh..."
"Just spit it out."
"What? If you take me to see her, I will die!"
"And that's a bad thing."
"Okay, if you don't take me, I won't stop annoying you."
"How about this?" said Ruby, "We'll find a hotel, then look for Allie, and if we
have anytime left, we visit Terra of Crystal, okay?"
"No, not okay," replied Apollo, "I doubt we will have anytime left. We'll
probably pack our bags and leave after we look for Allie."
"You're a brat, you know."
"I'm not a brat. This is the only one thing I ask of you to take me to see the
person I worshipped, but nnno, we have to look for a catwoman and her stupid
dog."
"If it means that much for you, Apollo," said Kismet, "We can go see her
tonight, okay?"
"That's okay."
"Everybody agree," said Ruby.
The rest of the group nodded their heads, yes.
"Okay. Tonight we will go see Terra of Crystal."
"Then you will need an appointment," said a half-fairy with orchid butterfly
wings and a flower crown in her blue and purple hair, which suddenly appeared in
front of them.
"And who are you?" said Apollo.
"I'm Princess Butterfly of the Butterfly clan, personal assistant to Terra of
Crystal herself, and you?"
"Apollo of Morgendorf," he said as he took her hand and kiss it, "Tell me
Princess Butterfly..."
"No, my first name is Princess, my last is Butterfly."
"Oh, but you look like a princess."
"You just telling me that. I don't look like one."
"I seen a few princesses before and Princess, your beauty surpass theirs."
"You're lying."
"No I'm not. Why not you and I go for a walk around the town? I new here maybe
you can show me around."
"I love too, but I'm late. Maybe some other time. Nice meeting Apollo."
"But it was all a pleasure meeting you Miss Princess Butterfly."
Princess quickly kissed Apollo on the cheek and ran off.
"And you didn't said I don't have a way with the woman," said Apollo.
"She was just a ditz," said Ruby.
"Actually she was the smartest woman alive," said Wanderer.
"What do you mean by that?"
"That was Terra of Crystal."
"WHAT! Oh man, I should of have know. Princess Butterfly was in The Spring of
Flower Fairies. I'm so stupid."
"I could of have told you that one."
"I guess you guys not going to go to see her tonight then."
"She fooled you. I like her," said Ruby, "I want to see her again."
"Cleini and I whither stay in our hotel room, is that okay?" said Snott.
"Yeah. Do whatever you want to do," said Wanderer, "I want to see Terra again."
"I guess I can go too," said Kismet.
"How about you Stry?" said Ruby.
"It doesn't seems like I have the choice of the matter," Stry replied, "So I'll
go."
"There's a reason I like you," she said as she kissed his cheek, which made him
blush and Apollo roar in laughter of the sight.
"Oh my god, I can't believe you blushed. Can a vampire blush? I guess they can
because you just did," said Apollo laughing between words.
"I going to kill you now," said Stry.
"Kismet protect me," Apollo said as he ran behind Kismet.
"You two stop it," said Ruby.
"If anybody going to kill that brat, it's going to be me," said Nala as she
jumped from a roof of a house.
"I'm totally died," said Apollo.
"Stop hiding behind that fairy and fight me like a man."
"But I don't want to. I like it here where it's safe."
"Then I have to kill him. King-Deathblow!"
She took her staff, which was glowing a bloody red color and slammed it down
over Kismet's head, but stopped before killing him. The Sword of the Fairy Queen
that was glowing a pure white stopped it. Nala struggled two bring the staff
down hitting Kismet, but the sword in his hands was too powerful for her. Then
pushed her back, knocking her down to the ground. The sword pinned her to stay
down.
"Tell King Robert that he won't kill us that easily. I will seceded in my quest
and when I do, I'll kill him," said Kismet.
"I will gladly pass the message," Allie said as she disappeared in a portal.
"Do you really want to kill the dude?" said Apollo.
"Yes. My kingdom has suffer too much from his hand," Kismet replied.
"Spoken like a true leader," said Wanderer.
"We don't have to see Terra of Crystal. Finding the weapons of more important,"
said Apollo.
"No. She will help us. She knows a lot about the surroundings and fairy legends.
She will be a great help," replied Wanderer.
"I know let split up," said Ruby, "Wanderer, Apollo, and I can go to see Terra
of Crystal. And Kismet, Stry, Cleini, and Snott can look for Allie."
"Works for me," said Apollo.
"Okay. So lets split up."
They split up. Kismet, Stry, Cleini, and Snott split themselves up and looked
for Allie. And Wanderer, Apollo, and Ruby went to Terra's of Crystal house,
which was actually a mansion made of crystal. The design in the crystal was
beautiful. The fairies dancing in the field flowers that was craved in the
crystal seemed alive.
They walked up to the decorated door and as Ruby was approaching to knock, the
door opened and Terra of Crystal was waiting for them.
"Hello dear friends come in," she said.
"Terra, it seems that you never change," said Wanderer.
"Why do I have a reason to? You haven't given me one yet."
"You still upset of that. Listen we were young and foolish. Nothing serious was
going to come of it."
"That not a good reason for leaving me and marring some wood elf. I could have
made you a lot happier than her."
"No you wouldn't. We fight way too much."
"We always made up at the end."
"Yeah after a week of not talking to each other."
"Fine, fine. But I will never forgive you marring her instead of me."
"Everything doesn't turn out like in your plays."
"Actually one of favorites was a lot like this, Summer Love," said Apollo.
"I think I saw that one. When the fairy and dwarf fall in love one summer, then
the dwarf went away and marries a witch," said Ruby.
"You made me a DWARF!" said Wanderer angrily.
"I was mad at you," said Terra.
"See writers do take things from personal experiences and make them into a
play," said Apollo.
"You brought Apollo of Morgendorf and who is this?" said Terra.
"This is Ruby," said Wanderer.
"This can't that little girl you brought here all those years ago."
"The one and the same."
"What does she mean?" said Ruby.
"Me and Mimir brought you here once when you were a baby."
"Ah, Mimir. I liked him, but he was too old. If he was a couple of years
younger, I will be all over him. What ever happened to him?"
"My father is dead," said Ruby as little water drops formed in her eyes.
"That doesn't make sense," said Terra.
"I'll tell you later," said Wanderer.
"Okay. Hey why don't you guys stay here for the night? I have plenty of rooms."
"Are you sure, there are four others in our group, but right now they're looking
for someone," said Apollo.
"Like I said before I have plenty of rooms. Why don't I make some tea and we can
talk about why you're doing out here?"
(
"Maybe the next time, you can take one of Katie's monsters with you," said King
Robert.
"Anything to kill them all," replied Nala, which was sitting in his lap.
"I like how you think."
"How would you like it if I do this?" she asked as she unbuttoned her shirt.
"Let go to my room."
(
Kismet was back in the hallway in his dream. He walked down it like before. He
walked to the door and it was locked. He could hear his dream girl yelling on
the other side of the door.
"Stop it. Someone help me," she yelled, "Please someone help me. No, get away.
HELP! SOMEONE HELP!"
Then he heard a loud scream and everything went silence. The doors opened and a
wind past Kismet, but he didn't see anything. He walked in. Everything was the
same except for the white curtains around the canopy. They were dripping red
with blood. He ran to it, and went inside where he found his dream girl dead in
a puddle of blood around her and next to her a sword covered with her blood.
He picked up the sword and looked at it. He had seen it before. Then it hit him
when he looked close at the bloody cravings. It was his sword. It was the Sword
of the Fairy Queen.
"No, it can't be."
The blood dried up and flow back into the girl like someone pressed rewind. Then
she woke-up.
"My love what are you doing here? You are suppose to be on a quest," she said.
Then the sword in Kismet's hand raised over his head. Kismet couldn't stop the
sword; it seems to have a mind of it own.
"What are you doing my love? You're scaring me."
"You should because I'm going to kill you," said Kismet, but it wasn't him
saying it. Something have taking him over.
"Stop it. Someone help me," she started to yelled, "Please someone help me. No,
get away. HELP! SOMEONE HELP!"
But he refused to listen, and then he plunged the sword into her heart. She
screamed from the pain, then she grew quiet. He took the sword out of her and
dropped it where he found it.
"What have I done? I didn't mean to do it," he said.
Then he heard someone said, "Run. Run now before he finds you. RUN!"
Kismet got up and ran out of the room. Then he suddenly woke-up in a pool of
sweat. He sat up and put his right hand over his heart like he was having a
heart attack or something. Then he dropped his hand and looked at it. There was
blood all over it. He blinked and looked again and it was gone.
"Bad dream?" said Apollo who slept in the bed next to his.
"You're awake," said Kismet.
"Couldn't sleep. So you want to tell me what you're dream is about?"
"Okay, but don't tell anyone about it."
"I promise."
"Okay. I having this dream about this girl."
"I like it so far. Can you described her?"
"She's beautiful. Very beautiful."
"What does she look like?"
"She has her brown hair in two bun on top on her head and with two big bangs
running down her cheek. She had a collar on the neck for some strange reason and
I also remember that she had a tattoo on her upper arm."
"Does the tattoo wrap around her arm and has a simple design?"
"Yes."
"She got to be royalty then. Only the daughters of kings have a tattoo like that
and are locked up."
"Why?"
"Because she of age of marriage. So she stays pure, she's locked in a room until
her wedding day."
"Weird."
"I know. So can you get back to the dream?"
"It begins in a hall which leads to a door and the door to a room that all
white. There's a bed in the middle and I go on it. The girl is on the bed."
"I like where this is going. So what else?"
"So I go on the bed, she starts to kiss me and taking off my shirt. And she is
always calling me my love."
"And what so bad about that? That kind of dream is not a nightmare."
"That the normal one, but tonight it was different. I killed her. I don't know
why, but I did."
"WHAT! You killed her."
"And after someone is telling me to run before he finds me."
"I would too. Her father is probably coming. One he will kill you for making
love to her making her unpure, and two because you killed her."
"But she's said we're married and she's my fairy queen."
"You married to her that makes a little different."
"But I don't know why she's calling herself the fairy queen and me her King
Daven. Do you think she's the fairy queen?"
"Doubt it. The tattoo and she being lock in a room is not a fairy thing. It's a
City of White thing. And there, girls want to have a love like the fairy queen
and King Daven had. So they often call themselves only to their loves of course,
the fairy queen and their loves, King Daven. It's their sign of affection."
"How do you know that?"
"I once had a girl from there. Never again. They are too messed-up from there."
"So what do think my dream means?"
"I don't know. You're going to marry King Robert's daughter? How the hell I
know? Why don't we go back to sleep if we can."
"Yeah."
(
"Thanks letting us stay here," said Ruby as they exit Terra's house.
"It was my pleasure. I hope you guys have good luck finding the weapons and the
person you looking for," said Terra.
"Actually a catwoman and her dog," said Apollo.
"Wait, is her dog small, a transformer and her name is Kiki."
"Yeah," said Wanderer, "Wait you saw them didn't you?"
"Yeah. An hour before you come to my house, they came because I was Kiki former
master. We talked briefly, and then they left."
"Did they say where they were going?"
"I think it was City of Cards."
"Back to her hometown."
"What's the City of Cards?" asked Kismet.
"It's a big gambling town. Allie's from there. It seems perfect for a con-
artist, because it full with every type of criminal."
"If it helps, they were leaving today," Terra replied.
"Good we can catch up to then," said Stry.
"Before you go Wanderer I wanted to give you something."
"What?" he asked.
"This," she lifted herself up on her toes and kissed him.
"Even Wanderer gets a girl. What about me? I get nothing, NOTHING!" said Apollo.
"I miss your kisses. They're sweet like nectar," said Wanderer.
"Then come back to me after all this. Come back and marry me," Terra replied.
"We aren't meant to be. It will be hard to believe now, but it's the truth."
"I know. I knew for a long time, but I wish this can be one of my plays, then
you will definitely come back and take me as your wife."
"This is reality Terra. Remember that."
"I will. I probably will never have a Mister Right. I'm destined to be alone for
all of my days. But promise me you will come back with a visit."
"Of course I promise to come back for a visit, but a visit only. Nothing more."
"Are you crazy or something?" said Apollo, "This girl is throwing herself on you
and you do nothing about it. Man if I was you, I will seize the moment."
"Apollo of Morgendorf. You will find your girl, the one perfect for you and you
only. Be patient and wait for her. She will come and when she does, bring her
here so I can see her."
"Definitely. Then you can make a play of it, right?"
"Why don't you make a play about it? You're be perfect for a writer."
"Thanks."
"You're welcome."
