Chapter 8
"Catwomen"

The group was walking in a forest a couple days from Mercit, and Cleini was
still out. She woke-up twice, but only for a few seconds.

The group did rotated shifts of carrying Cleini, and Apollo felt he got the most
shifts, which he complained about. As soon as they were a half a day away from
another village, two strange creatures ran into them, an exotic catwoman and
Shih Tzu.

The catwoman's fur was brown, black, with a little dark orange and off-white
mixed and had yellowish-green eyes. She was wearing a black leather mini-short,
very small gold shirt which had a little diamond cut out of it on the top chest,
and high black leather boots which with to above her knee and the heel was a
little over a feet big. And her friend was a dark mixed Shih Tzu with short,
messy, dirty hair.

"Seven hundred and seventy-five gold coins. That was our best yet, don't you
agree?" said the catwoman to her friend, "I agree. We did have that one."

"Well isn't it Allie?" said Wanderer as he approached them.

"Why Wanderer, isn't it a fancy meeting you here?" she replied.

"You still own my money."

"That's a funny thing you know, I was coming to pay you,"

"Were you now?"

"Yeah. Actually I have the money right here. One thousand sliver wasn't it?"

"Try about one thousand gold."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, I'm sure."

"But didn't I pay some already?"

"Don't try to scum you way out of this like you do everything else."

"Okay. Let me get it," she said as she reached for a pouch of money on her belt
she wore, but instead she took a blowgun that was next to it and blow it at
Wanderer. A powerful wind came out and blow him a couple of yards back, "Run!"

Allie and Kiki started to run in the opposite direction of the group.

"Are you okay?" said Ruby.

"Yeah, but can you stop them," Wanderer replied.

"Is she declawed?" asked Snott.

"In the matter of fact, she is."

"Good," he said as he took his ax out from a strap that he had on his back.
"Vines tangled."

Then they heard a distant scream and bark. They ran towards it and found Allie
and Kiki tangled in a web of vines.

"Can you help us out?" said Allie as she did a little laugh thing.

"What do you think? Should I cut them out?" Wanderer said.

"Get the money first, then think about," said Apollo.

"I like your plan. I take this thank you."

Wanderer took the pouch of money from Allie, and counted out a thousand gold
pieces even. Then he ordered Stry to cut them down which Stry did.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you," Allie said as she hugged and kissed Stry.

"Think again," said Ruby as she pulled Allie off Stry.

"Are you his girlfriend?" Allie asked.

"In a way, so keep your paws off him."

"Ooh, my kind of man. Strong, handsome, and taken."

"I'm warning you."

"I'm ain't promise you anything because you have a good catch here."

"Hey I'm single. And I'm strong and handsome too," said Apollo.

"I like men, not boys."

"I thought it was your shift for carrying Cleini," said Snott.

"Kismet has her," Apollo replied.

"Apollo don't make that poor boy do you shift," said Wanderer.

"It was just for five minute."

"I don't believe you."

"Honest. I swear on my mother's grave that is was only for five minutes."

"Everybody come quick," yelled Kismet.

The whole group ran toward Kismet. Cleini was on the ground waking-up and Kismet
was by her side.

"Cleini," said Snott as her ran towards her.

"Where am I?" she asked.

"Right now we're in the woods close to River's Pass."

"That's a couple of days walk from Mercit."

"I know. We're on a quest and it's leading us there."

"I won't go there if I was you," said Allie.

"Why?" asked Apollo.

"Well there's a dragon there," then she paused for a second and look at Kiki as
if she was talking to her, "Actually there's a real dragon there. So I just I
will be going. Later."

"Wait a minute," said Wanderer, "Where did you get this money?"

"It's a funny story you know."

"Don't tell me this is from fake dragon slaying thing you do."

"Then I won't. If you let me go, I have an appointment in Mercit."

"Oh we just came from there and they sent me to tell you, they canceled their
appointment."

"They did, didn't they? But sorry, they don't know about it yet. Kiki, horse."

Then Kiki shaped-shifted into a tall horse with the same coloring of herself and
Allie jump on. And they galloped off towards Mercit.

"Should we go after her?" said Apollo.

"No, we have better things to do," said Wanderer, "So, how are you Cleini?"

"I'm a little tired, but besides that fine."

"Okay, but just in case let's still take turn carrying her."

"Okay," said Snott.

"Wait a minute, she's awake so why do we have to carry her?"

"Because," Wanderer said, "Ruby, can you show us where to go from here?"

"Okay," she replied, "Crystal diamond show me where I can find an owner of a
weapon."

The light showed them the way, but it was a different way. Back where they just
walked, back where Allie ran off.

"What! We pasted it!" said Apollo.

"Wasn't a blowgun a weapon of the king," asked Ruby.

"Yes, the Blowgun of the Winds," said Kismet.

"And Wanderer, remember the blowgun she used on you. It blew you back, didn't
it?"

"Yes," he replied, "That's means that scumball is a holder of the weapon."

"I hate to admit it, but yes, she is."

"Great. You gonna to have a con-artist in our group."

"We already have a genie, a fairy, a witch, a loner, a priestess, and I'm a
bartender, so what's the problem?" said Apollo.

"That I hate her more than anyone else."

"You hate everyone, so what's the problem again?"

"Did you hear me? I hate her MORE than everyone else, but you getting pretty
close to where she's at."

"I didn't know you cared."

"We have to. She's a holder of the king's weapons so we have to let her come,"
said Kismet.

"I don't like the idea of it," replied Wanderer.

"You don't have a choice in the matter," said Ruby, "We can't chose who can or
can't have a weapon. We just can pray that it's nobody bad."

"Like me," said Nala as she jumped down from a tree with the Staff of the Kings
in hand.

"Who's that?" asked Apollo.

"My replacement, Nala," said Snott as he took out his ax.

"I here to destroy the one you call Kismet," she replied.

"Try to kill me," said Kismet as he took out the sword of the fairy queen.

"So you are Kismet. This will be easy."

"You have to go through me to get to him," said Apollo as he jumped in between
Kismet and Nala with his bow ready to fire.

"And me," said Stry as he stood on the right side of Apollo with his two knifes
in hand.

"And me," said Wanderer as he stood on the other side of Apollo with his staff
in front of him.

"But first you must go through me," said Snott as he walked in front of them all
with his ax ready to strike, "I have a score to settle with her."

"This will take like five minutes," said Nala.

She took her staff and raised it over her head. Then strike it down quicker than
a blink of an eye, but Snott blocked it with his ax. Nala flipped back and throw
the staff into the ground. Snott ran towards her with his ax over his head. Nala
back-kicked him into the ground, but he got up and Nala just kicked him back
down again. Snott tried and tried again to get back up, but Nala just kicked him
back down again.

"Stop it," said Cleini as she ran towards Snott and stood with her arms out in
front of him, "No more fighting."

"Who's this? Your girlfriend. You have to have her save you. How pathetic," said
Nala.

"Get back Cleini. I don't want you to get hurt," said Snott as he got up.

"If you come with me."

"Cleini go back now!"

"Not without you."

"You better listen to her," said Stry, "You can't last any longer."

"I won't back down. That will make her win, and she won't."

"Don't let your proud get the better of you. Back down before it's too late and
you're dead."

"Fine, but I'm only doing this for Cleini's sake."

"Thank you," Cleini said as she helped Snott towards the back where Ruby was.

"Can this get anymore pathetic?" Nala said.

"I don't know, can you?" said Wanderer.

"Wanderer, what does cats hate the most?" said Apollo.

"I get where you going," Wanderer replied.

"Arrow of Water."

Apollo shot the arrow at Nala and she got soaked from her head to her toes.

"You filthy human. You are going to pay with you life for that," she said in
much anger.

"Did you call me filthy? I won't be talking in a few minutes," Apollo replied
back.

"What do you mean?"

"Arrow of Earth."

Apollo shot other arrow, which made Nala all muddy.

"I just gave myself a bath today. Now you're definitely going to die," she said
as she ran towards him with her claws showing, but as she got closed she tripped
and everyone started to laugh.

"And when will I die?" Apollo said as he was laughing badly.

"You will all die for embarrassing me."

"When we I that be, after you fall over yourself."

"You will all pay expecting you."

Then she flipped out of they sight.

"I'm doom," said Apollo.

"Definitely," said Kismet.

"I wonder how much it will be if I get a bodyguard?"

"Too rich for your blood," said Stry.

"What with you and blood?"

"I'm a vampire remember."

"Then why are you out in the sunlight, huh?"

"I was born in Fuxec. There vampires can walk in sunlight because we are
protected by the great kings of the past."

"But we not in Fuxec anymore."

"I'm still protect by them."

"So a stake through the heart won't do anything."

"It's still will kill me. We are only protected from sunlight because we're
needed in battle."

"This is confusing."

"It doesn't take much to confuse you," said Ruby.

"So you think we shouldn't go to Mercit?" said Allie talking to Kiki which is
back as her dog self as they walked a little off the path in the woods, "Then we
should we go?......What's the hell in Crystal City that you always trying to get
me to go there?......You master. I'm your master now. I saved you, help you
regain your life, took care of you, feed you, so that's make me your
master.......I can't believe I'm listening to this. You're totally impossible. I
don't know why I put up with this.......There's no way in hell I love you and
don't try to sweet talk me.......Stop it. It's annoying. I'm not listening to
you. I'm not listening to you.......Fine, we're going to Crystal City. I can't
put up with this whining anymore.......You're welcome."

Kiki got up on her two legs and started to do this little happy dance thing on
her hind legs. Then Allie started to laugh.

"Come on, let's go to Crystal City, but I'm just doing this to find out who this
so-called master is.......Okay you love me, I get it.......Stop it. It's getting
very annoying. Hey if we go to Crystal City, you're turning into a horse."

Kiki turned herself in a horse like Allie asked. Allie got on her back and rode
towards the sunset.

A/N: To remove confusion later on, when Allie is taking and in it there this
........., it means Kiki is talking to her. So that's why it's a little
confusing at the end.
