Ron-Stop - believe it or not I meant for it to be like that. I was using that section as kinda a flash fowarding jump off flashbacking point of.....stuff. Maybe I over did it though, so I'll try to make things clearer this chap okay? Remember to review and tell me what you think!
And now, without further adue, the next chapter!
The wind. Such a simple thing. They say it has no memory, but they're wrong. If you could talk to the wind right now it would tell you a story....a story of friendship gone horribly wrong.
Kim stood stock still as she relived that painful memory again, trying to see where she could have done better, how she could have avoided this whole mess. And its not like this WASN'T a mess. She was fighting her best friend, turned evil, in his latest evil lair. Which, suprisingly, was located IN Middleton. Nice that they have so many abandoned warehouses....perfect places to hide out. Kim suddenly shook her head, snapping herself back to the present and away from the dreaful memories that were struggling to haunt her.
“Ron....I know your in there someware...I WILL save you....just...please hang on. For me.”
Steely determination made its way onto her face, the blood slowly trickling from her nose only adding to the fierce expression.
Rons only reaction was a slight snort of contempt, just barely resisting the urge to spit off to the side. Save him? From what?
Oh, of course. Himself! How sad that she still believed there was some form of good still left in the hollow shell that had once been Ron Stoppable. Had she forgotten already? The Genetics testing in Bolivia? The Bio-weapons research in Russia? The ETHNIC CLEANSING he had spawned as a cover in africa? Thousands died in that short week....and it had been just enough time for him to give Kim Possible the slip, and continue on to Russia. His plan was almost complete....and such a delicious plan it was to!
But he would NOT pull a Drakken....not when he was this close...just one more dose. One more dose of the weapon he had created and he would be victorious.
Now all he had to do was distract her enough to do the deed.
“Save me?” Ron asked, even going so far as to drop his ready stance to walk towards her.
“From what Kimberly? Myself? So I can go back to being your side-kick? I think not. The ron you knew is dead, gone, and buried. Deal with it.”
He then arched an eyebrow, delivering the coup de' grace with an arched eyebrow as he spoke.
“But dealing with it has always been easy right? It should be, 'No Big.'”
Kim rocked back as if she had been struck a physical blow.
And she lost it.
With a fierce cry she lept forward, launching into a seris of attacks that would have left most of the worlds blackbelts broken in its wake. Palm strikes, knife hands, sweeping kicks, round houses, and just straight punching. Hell, she invented a few new moves on the spot her assualt was so intense. No mortal ould have stood her fury.
Ron Stoppable however, was no mere mortal. Not anymore.
Harnessing his Mystical Monkey Power he dodged her blows, slipping through her assualt like water through a sive. What blows he didn't simply turn aside where countered with ruthless efficently. Jabs were slapped aside, some turned into hip tosses and body throws. Kicks ducked, or worse, caught, a sharp blow connecting with the joint at her knee her punishment. Still she pushed on, shoving the pain aside as she had done so often in the past. She sprang up from the throws, ignored the throbbing pain in her knees, pushing her attack.
'How is he doing this!? I should have atleast hit him once by now...' Her thoughts were interrupted however, as Ron lashed out with his first actual attack. Her attempted uppercut had left her over-extended, exposed. Rons fist was little more than a blur when it slammed into her unprotected ribs, sending a sick feeling swimming throuh kims body when she felt two of them give, snapping under the insane pressure from the attack.
And for the first time in her young life....Kim was afraid.
Now let me clarify this. Sure Kim had been scared before. Facing Shego was no picnic, even Drakken was scary in his own way. The seniors, Monkey Fist, DNAmy....but this....this was a whole new level of fear.
Fear that she may fail....
Fear of Death.
And that fear made her desperate, made her try for an attack that she knew, KNEW, would leave her completely open if she missed.
Calling on her cheerleading skills she flipped backwards, giving herself alittle breathing room to set up the attack she had in mind. Running through it, she knew she only had a moment to attack, lest Ron push an attack in the next few moments. Taking a small step back she shifted her right side towards ron, and after shuffling back half a step, surged forward, the sidekick a perfect copy of the one her Sensei had taught her. She had shattered bricks with this attack. She only hoped if had enough oomph to put Ron out of the fight.
Sadly, it was not to be.
Ron watched her during the set up, the movements seeming to take her years to complete from his viewpoints. He knew what she was going to do. A classic move from the discipline of Jeet Kun Du. A massive sidekick, launched almost instantly from that little hopping side skip. He had seen KP shatter opponents with that move, break solid stone with it.
Needless to say he was NOT going to be hit by it.
He waited until the absolute last second, Kims foot coming withen an inch of his face before he did three things at once.
First he rolled to the side, following the line of her leg to guide himself. Grabbing her leg was his second move, warpping his left arm securly around her extended apendage he turned to face it, and brought his right elbow down for a devestating blow to her knee cap, the sharp CRACK audible 15 feet away from the battle.
Kim gasped, the pain simply to great for her brain to register at this moment. She tried to ignore it, tried to put it aside for later, but her brain would not be satisfied with her usual answer of 'feel the pain later'. Her knee...she drew in more breath, pain already scrunching up her features as she prepared to scream her pain to the heavens....but Ron never gave her the chance.
'Nows the time! While shes overwhelmed with the pain!' A vicious grin came over rons face.
And he struck, dropping her ruined leg he rushed in, launching his own assualt, though Kim was in little shape to stand up to it. Punches, jabs, kicks, uppercuts...all found there mark, and soon kim could do little except jolt from blow to blow, barely keeping her footing throughout the vicious beating. What made it worse however......
He would not let her fall.
No matter how he hit her, or where, he immiediantly followed it up with another attack, effectivly jugling her body from blow to blow, keeping her pain wracked body on its feet. This continued for nearly five minutes, until he had exhausted himself from beating on her.
'Oh god....' Kim sobbed in her mind, tears having long since been leaking down her face. Mixing in with the fresh blood from her split lip and cut cheeks.
It hurt.
It hurt everyware.
Her face, arms, chest, stomach, neck....places she ouldn't even name in her adled state.
She was sure he had broken her arm at some point. But it was no problem right? Just block with the other arm. To slow....so tired....at one point she must have passed out but she wasn't sure. How was she still on her feet anyway? Shouldn't she be asleep?
Yes, sleep sounded SO good right now....she started to slump, her eyes flickering closed......
'NO!!!'
Kim started, barely bringing herself back form the brink. She couldn't fail...not again. She had to stop him!
Summoning a herculean effort she lunged at Ron again, flailing at his still form, even though the movements caused her arm to scream in agony.
Ron grinned, knowing it was time. He caught her laughable attack, holding her tight against him as he dug into his belt for his final solution to the Kim possible problem.
Shift....shift....
'ah! Got it!'
“Take a deep breath Kimberly...”
With that Ron released the powder he had been holding directly into Kims face, knowing she had no choice but to inhale it.
Kims pupils shrunk to near pinpricks as she involuntarily inhaled the fine dust. She had ben trying so hard....tried to save him. She looked up into his eyes, trying desperatly to discern the real ron from their hard gaze, finding only insanity there she pulled away from him, staggering away a small step at a time until finally she caught herself and turned to face him, her chest heaving from the effort of breathing, panic setting in as she awaited whatever side-effect breathing the dust would have on her.
Kims imagination ran wild as she waited. Maybe it was a powdered sulfuric acid, designed to destroy her lungs a thousand times faster than smokeing....maybe it was designed to kill her outright....she waited, chest still heaving....
waited.....
waited....
finally her eyes screwed shut...
and she sneezed.
And for the first time since this horrid battle had begun she smiled, laughter forcing itself out from her throat.
“Wha...? Sneezing powder? Thats your big plan? I've had worse colds...” She tried to laugh again, but it caught in her throat, her eyes bulging for a moment when she tried to draw in a breath, but couldn't. She tried, again and again, panic setteling in. Finally she opened her mouth, trying to speak....but dropped to her knees, and emptyed her stomach all over the ground, the revolting sounds and effort it took robbing her of what little strength she had left.
Terror filled eyes meet Rons laughing orbs as she upchucked again, staining the ground red with the bloody bile. What had he done to her?!
“Ron....” She almost puked again, but thankfully she never got the chance. Ron had crossed the distance in a moment, his hand settling in an iron grip around her throat, strangling her conciousness from her.
“Go to sleep Kimberly....when you wake up, everything will be okay...I promise.”
The last thing kim saw before the blackness came over her was Ron's grinning face, total insanity shining from the once warm brown orbs.
