The teenage girl headed down the narrow hallways of her high school heading towards her first period class. Even though she had been going to that high school for three years it still seemed like nobody noticed her except for the few friends she had.

"Hey Kairi, you going to Math?"

Kairi looked around to see the energetic Selphie in front of her. Selphie waved her hand in front of Kairi's face trying to get her attention, "Kairi…"

"Yea." Kairi replied looking straight at Selphie.

"So are you going to Math now?"

"Oh yea…."

"Okay well you better get going because class starts in like 2 minutes."

"Okay, Selphie I'll meet you there." Kairi moaned as her friend ran off to the Math room.

Kairi walked behind her not even wasting her time to run. She wasn't going to be late so what was the point any way. Kairi got to the Math room soon and opened pushed open the door and headed towards her seat sitting down. She glanced behind her seeing Selphie waving at her franticly. In front of her was Sora.

Sora was the most popular kid in high school since he came which was that year. Like every girl had a crush on him and his friends Riku and Tidus, but Sora had never accepted a single girl. Everyone knew her never would either he was too "perfect" for everyone.

Kairi glanced at Sora not really taking her eyes off of him. It was true that she was like every other girl, but Sora just didn't know it.

"Psst…Kairi…psst…"

Kairi quickly turned around and looked at Selphie angry that Selphie had ruined her "moment".

"Kairi, you won't believe it but rumor is that Sora has a girlfriend."

Kairi was surprised at those words and Selphie noticed it.

"Kairi, did you hear Sora has a girlfriend."

"Yea, I heard you and stop talking "he" is right in "front" of me."

"I know that is why I'm whispering smart one." Selphie said rolling her eyes.

"You know it is kind of obvious you are talking about me." Sora said turning around and looking at Selphie and Kairi.

Kairi let out a slight smile from her face her cheeks showing a hint of red.

"Do you have a fever?" Sora questioned raising an eyebrow.

"Uh, no…"

"Okay, whatever." Sora replied turning back around.

"Psst…Kairi…"

Kairi turned back around and looked at Selphie. "What?"

"Were you blushing?"

"No…"

"I can still hear you." Sora said attempting to ignore us.

"Come on tell the truth Kai."

"Just shut up he is right in front of me."

"You like him."

"Shut up I do not like, Sora."

"You know you do."

"I know that I know that I do." Kairi said sternly.

"So you like me…" Sora said looking back at Kairi.

A burst of redness flushed over Kairi's face making her look like a red tomato.

"Uh no…" Kairi said turning back around at Selphie glaring at her. A slight giggle escaping from Selphie.

"Don't worry I know you do."

"No, you and I both know that I know that I don't."

"Seriously, it doesn't matter I hate you, I mean you so low in social status."

Those words rang in Kairi's ear for the rest of the day well until lunch because then all of Selphie's words rang in her ears.

"So, Kairi, what are you going to do to get Sora to like you?" Selphie asked leaning forward.

"You heard him he hates me there is nothing else I can do." Kairi replied taking her tray of food.

"Well, there has to be something you can do to prove that you are better."

"Like what?" Kairi retorted sharply.

"Umm…act more popular…"

"Like that's going to help." Kairi said rolling her eyes.

"Oh, you could stalk Sora and become hi secret admirer and make him like you." Selphie whispered pretending she was in a mystery story.

"I'm not forcing him to like me, Selphie."

"Okay, let's...pretend you are someone else! You know make yourself look different change your hair color, wear a different type of outfit, try to change your personality, figure out a different way to talk, and change your name." Selphie said squeaking in joy.

Kairi looked at Selphie a questionable look on her face. Then she glanced at Sora who was sitting at a table next to Yuna who was supposedly his girlfriend.

"You know Selphie…that idea might be crazy enough to work."
