INTRO:
The night was dark, and the air was crisp that summer evening, as Vergil and Rose sat outside in each others arms. Life was simply a fairy tale when they were together. Nothing ever brought them apart. Except for the event that happened that evening...

Vergil gently stroked Rose's back as she laid her head upon his chest.

"Vergil?"

"Yeah? What is it?"

"I don't think this place is right for me..."

"What?" said Vergil puzzled.

"It's not you don't get me wrong...It's just realizing that I'll never be able to fit in. In your world or society it's self here."

"What do you mean you don't fit in? You've always fit in. You're with me...that's all that matters right?"
Vergil looks at Rose and holds her head in his hands. He feels a tear run down her cheek.
Vergil lets go of Rose and frowns, feeling pain for the first time in years.

" I thought we had something, Rose. I really did...I guess we were living a lie. A lie that should end right now."

" But we did have something Vergil...We do...have something. Vergil I lov--"

"Don't lie to me, please...Don't."

"Vergil you're not listening to me...Listen to what I have to say to you!"

"NO! I don't want to hear what you have to say!" Yelled Vergil as he shed tears of anger and remorse.

"But--"

"Leave me be..."
Vergil gets up and walks back inside. He stomps up the stairs in rage.

Rose sighes, and stands up. She wipes the dirt and rock from her pants, and breathes in deeply. She looks up at the deep, dark sky and closes her eyes remembering Vergil's warm lips pressed gently against hers as they kissed passionately under the stary sky. And she wondered, why he was mad at something so simple. Something so simple that he'd end it over something so unique, so perfect. Maybe it wasn't mean't to be. Maybe he was right, and it all was just a living, breathing, lie. Rose frowned at the thought and walked off into the darkness...

Dante gently closed the fridge after he popped open his can of fresh grape Faygo. He sat at the kitchen table with the look of boredom stuck on his face.

"(Burp)...Grapey...HEY VERGIL, WANT A CAN OF FAYGO?! LAST ONE, SNOOZE YA LOSE!"

Vergil ignored his brother as he lay flat on his back on his bed. Rose's words ran through Vergil's mind, like a broken record. He wished he'd never met her, laid eyes on her, helped her, loved her.

Dante walked up the stairs and knocked lightly on Vergils door.
"Hey, you alright?"

Vergil sighed and sat up.
"No...Rose..left me..."

"Left you? Why? For who?"

"Oh you're supportive..."

"Hey, just asking..."

"She didn't leave me for anyone...She...just left."

"Like as in gone left...or just left?"

"THERE'S ONLY ONE KIND OF LEFT DUMBASS!!!"

"Whoa, take it easy. You'll fry brain cells if you yell that loud...Mine especially."

"Sorry... I just--"

"Love her?" said Dante interrupting Vergil.

Vergil sighes and Dante gives him a pat on the back.

"I know man, I know."
