Me: This takes place before Another Side, Another Story. Everyone is about 2 years older.

I see a red door and I want it painted black

No color any more, I want them to turn black.

I see the girls walk by dressed in their summer clothes.

I have to turn my head until my darkness goes.

Rana sat down on the sand her long black hair being blown by the soft sea breeze. Her voice rang through the air clearly and crisply, and her gray eyes sparkling.

I see a line of cars and they are painted black

With flowers and my love both never to come back.

I see people turn their heads and quickly look away

Like a new born baby it just happens every day.

I look inside myself and see my heart is black
I see my red door and it's heading into black.
Maybe then I'll fade away and not have to face the facts

It's not easy facing up when your whole world is black.

She sighed as she finished off the song and closed her eyes.

"I see you sing just as great as ever."

Rana turned around to see Riku standing behind her. A small blush came on her face as she said, "I thought you were playing with the others in the secret place."

"I was, until I heard you singing." He smiled and amusement danced in his eyes. "Rana I-"

Rana woke with a start. She had that same dream again. It had been awhile since Riku and Sora had left. Now she was on the island with Kairi, Selphie, Wakka, and Cloud.

She stood up from her spot on the beach and dusted the sand off of her long skirt. She turned around to head home but stopped when she saw a thick darkness hanging over the entrance to the Secret Place. (is it even called that?)

Running past the waterfall she bent down and walked through the opening. She stared at the brown door built into the rock, that was covered by darkness. She walked slowly ahead staring speechlessly at it.

A look of surprise flashed over her face as she saw something or someone emerge from it. He was covered in a long black cloak and his head was down, causing his white hair to cover his face.

"Riku?" Rana's knee's gave way as she stood there staring at him.

His head shot up and she could see his blue eyes. But they weren't clear like always. They were dark and lonely.

"Riku!" She reached out to him unable to get up.

He brought a hand out to hers and they drifted closer and closer. She could feel the tip of his fingers against hers and then…

Nothing.

There was a flash of light and then he and the darkness was gone.

"Riku!!" She fell forward crying into her lap. 'I've lost him again!…' And she soon fell asleep.
