Story behind it all:

 

Faith and her friends, Hiroshi, Kana, mute Ayame, and Usagi found a mirror in Faith's attic. After accidentally falling through the mirror, the friends were scattered across an entirely new world. Along the way, they made friends, like the strange `cowgirl' Caroline and her steed, which was actually a tiger with purple wings, Tygra. Faith's steed was Blanca, but in an accident, Faith died, and she and Blanca fused to become White Faith. Now, Faith has light blue wings, split personalities, claws, a white tiger's tail, and white tiger ears. Her friends are also part animal: Hiroshi the wolf, Ayame the snowy owl, Kana the clever fox, and Usagi the, well, us, rabbit. Soon after they each found their animal selves, Faith's albino sister, Yuki, found her way into the mirror. Yuki became the lynx. Thus, they went on a journey to find the way home. When they finally defeated the evil ruler, Layta, they went home, but came back daily after school. Soon, a new evil threatened everything, and the six warriors Layta created were awakened: Oki of the water, the leader of the six. Mai of the wind, second-in-command and strategist of the group. Gin and Kin of fire, power-hungry and clever twins that would stop at nothing to have a little fun. Hana of the flowers, the one who was the sweetest and most vulnerable, but still pretty hard to beat, of the group. And Haru of the earth, the silent but strong member of their little group. They were eventually killed—either by each other or by their own pets—and resurrected as humans. They, too, now pass through the mirror to help Faith's group and learn from the four rulers of each realm: Pyro of fire, Zephyr of wind, Aquarius of water, and Turoc of earth…
