Chp. 2

 

He stomped through the hall towards his rooms. `He is in pain…they have no idea the treasure they hold…how could they let him be in this much pain!' he fumed as he slammed the door to his rooms closed. “Heartless!” He yelled pacing around the room.

`Yes Master?' A heartless appeared in front of him.

“Find the keyblade master and tell me where he is!” He demanded turning towards the jerking heartless. The heartless made a jerky bow and disappeared. “I'll take care of you Sora.” He whispered sitting on the king size bed.

“Riku, dear, what seems to be the problem? I saw your heartless run out of the room.” Maleficent said walking into the room.

“I'm going to kidnap sora…he belongs to me!” He said defiantly.

“Of course he is…they took him from you, caused him pain.” Maleficent said casually. He clenched his hands and clenched his jaw.

“Once he arrives don't you think you should give me the keyblade as well?” Maleficent said casually.

`I know what you are trying to do and as soon as I have Sora I'm going to leave!' He thought. “I'll think about it.” He said coldly. Maleficent nodded and sweeped out of the room gracefully. `I'll never let her have something hat belongs to you sora!' He thought defiantly laying on the bed.

 

~~*~~Traverse Town

 

“His fever is getting worse!” Aerith said worriedly patting Sora's forehead with a wet cloth. Donald and Goofy had already been shooed out of the room when Donald started to pace the room. Yuffie chewed her lip and turned to Leon.

“Do you have a suggestion Squall?” Yuffie asked Leon.

“All I can suggest is for him to take a cold bath…but that would be kind of hard considering he's not conscious.” Leon said thoughtfully. Aerith nodded and dragged Yuffie behind her in search for a bathtub. “Come on Sora, you're stronger than this. I need you to help me find your Riku.” Leon whispered kneeling next to the bed.

“RIKU!” Sora yelled jerking into a sitting position and staring at something Leon couldn't see.

 

~~*~~In Sora's dream

 

He looked around and found himself in the tunnel by the waterfall(I forgot what it was called…sorry ). “Sora…Sora where are you?” He heard someone yell as he crawled out of the tunnel.

“I'm coming!” He yelled eagerly running towards the beach. Arms wrapped around him and he turned around to star into Riku's smiling face. He smiled and hugged Riku. “Riku! I thought I lost you!” He yelled crying in his loves shoulder. Riku smiled and placed his head on Sora's head.

“You never lost me.” Riku whispered. He sighed happily before falling forward.

“Riku? Riku where did you go? RIKU!” He yelled tears coursing down his cheeks. He looked around and noticed how the island was slowly disappearing.

“Sora…I'll find you!” He heard Riku's voice yell. He looked around and fell through the floor.

“RIKU!!!” He yelled as the darkness engulfed him.

 

~~*~~Traverse town

 

“Sora, snap out of it! Sora!” He yelled shaking Sora's shoulders as Yuffie and Aerith came running in. “Give me a bucket of water!” He yelled at the two women who stood in the doorway. Yuffie handed him a full bucket, water sloshing onto the floor. He grabbed the bucket and without a moments hesitation threw the bucket of water on Sora. Sora jerked out of his nightmare cold, wet, and crying. Sora stared at the three other occupants of the room and fainted.

“Well that was wonderful!” Yuffie said mournfully. Aerith nodded and stared at him.

“Leon what did he say?” Aerith asked curiously. He shrugged and looked at the paintings on the wall.

“I'll give him the bath. You two go and reassure Donald and Goofy that Sora is fine.” He said grabbing the water buckets and tub.

“Are you sure you want to take care of him?” Aerith asked curiously. He nodded, watching the two women leave the room. He turned towards the bed and saw a silver haired boy sitting next to Sora.

“Hey! Leave him alone!” He growled unsheathing his sword and dropping into a fighting stance. The boy looked at him before staring back at Sora.

“You seem to care about my Sora.” The boy whispered. He slowly rose from his stance and walked to the bed.

“Yea, Sora is a good kid…who couldn't like him?” He said casually. The boy nodded, stroking Sora's cheek. “I'm taking a wild guess in saying you're Riku.” He said.

“Yes.” The boy said lifting Sora into his arms.

“Hey! What do you think you're doing?” He demanded.

“I'm taking him with me, I'm not going to stand by and watch you mistreat my Sora any longer!” Riku said walking out of the room. He looked at the door disbelievingly before running out into the hall, the hall was empty.

“Guys! We have a problem!” He yelled running to the other room.

 

~~*~~Riku's Room

 

He watched Sora whimper and shiver on his bed while he tried to take care of him.

`Master, I brought you the potion you wanted.' The heartless said, a bottle in his hand. He grabbed the bottle and forced as much of it down Sora's throat as he could. The heartless stared at the body in the bed and tilted his head curiously.

“He should get better…” He said angrily. The heartless nodded and jerkily left the room. He stood and paced the room glancing at Sora every few seconds. He went to the window and stared at the scenery.

“R…Riku?” He heard someone whisper softly.
