Malon knew it was bound to happen, but she still refused to believe it. `Maybe it's a hallucination.' She thought. For the first time in her life, she hoped Dr. Knil was right about her having hallucinations.
“Judging by your reaction, you weren't quite ready to be a parent, were you?” Dr. Aldez asked.
“No…this can't be happening. NO!”
“How old are you again?”
“Seventeen…SEVENTEEN DAMN YEARS OLD AND I'M ALREADY FUCKING PREGNANT! HOW COULD THIS BE HAPPENING TO ME?!”
“You'll be eighteen, a legal adult, by the time the baby is born. Maybe you'll be ready by then…”
“Did it ever occur to you that not everyone wants kids?! By the way, where's my `congratulations, you're a parent!'?” she huffed sarcastically.
Dr. Aldez didn't answer, then she exited the room, leaving Malon to weep, only to have Dr. Knil enter the room once again from outside.
“What's wrong? Bad news?” he asked upon noticing her facial expression.
“You could say that.”
“Well, I have some good news, dear. You can leave today. Your head injury was nothing serious…or at least that's what you tell me, so…you may go.”
Malon was not thrilled, though. As soon as she got sent home, she'd be dealing with Ivo's taunts of how he got her pregnant and how “great” his kid would be.
“I advise that you don't take any drugs, including your usual potion. It may harm the baby.” He added. “You'll just have to have your family keep a close eye on you.”
“How…how…did…you?”
“I remember having another patient with the same reaction when she found out she was pregnant. Most women who have unwanted pregnancies have that look on their faces.” He unbuckled her straps and sent her on her way. “See you next appointment, and congratulations.”
“Yeah…right…” She was growing more nervous as Ivo approached her.
“I heard the good news, honey! That's great!” He threw his arms around her and squeezed her tight.
“Careful, you'll break the baby.” She mumbled sarcastically.
He laughed. “Oh, she's a funny one!” he smiled to the doctors as he led her out of the hospital. “You're already checked out on their list, so let's just go home.”
“I'm too tired to walk the whole way today. Maybe I'll just stay here for a few days.”
“No way. Besides, Nego and Suno are moving to this village. It's as crowded as hell, and they had a hard enough time getting a crappy house with a few roommates. You should be glad you have the honor of living on a farm with wide-open space…and me.”
Malon recognized Epona tied up to the nearby pole with a few other horses and hopped on her back after untying her. “See ya back at the ranch…big daddy.” Leaving Ivo behind in the dust, she galloped off. Luckily, the horse he rode was an old mare that was slightly crippled and rather slow. Plus, frankly it felt good to dash off without her “husband.”
About fifteen minutes later, she met face-to-face with him again in the bedroom.
“Get the fuck out of my room, Ivo.”
“This is our room, babe.”
“No more of that shit. It's your entire fault I'm pregnant! I didn't want to be a mother! As soon as this baby is born, you can take it and move to Kakariko with your brothers, for all I care. This is my ranch, and I don't want you to be a part of it.”
“Your father left the ranch to me, remember?” he opened a drawer.
“What are you doing?”
“Getting…this!” he unsheathed a small dagger and pointed it to her stomach. “If you don't follow my orders, you and your baby will die.”
“Why should I give a shit? And I thought you wanted me to have the baby.”
“There are plenty of other fish in the sea. And besides, there's a cute little fifteen-year-old in Kakariko Village that would serve as a nice replacement for you.”
“You're sick.” Malon gnarled angrily.
“I thought we already established that you are the sick one,” he chuckled. “Now what'll it be? Do you really want me to take your life and the baby's and get another girl who's…riper than you, or do you want you and the baby to live?”
Suddenly, Malon was furious. Did he essentially call a fifteen-year-old better than her? But why was she jealous? She didn't care. Did she?
“Well?”
“I…want this baby to live. I can't let you kill an innocent unborn child, and I certainly won't let you rape a fifteen-year-old girl! How disgusting!”
“Whatever you say.” He slipped the knife back into the sheath and replaced it back into its spot in the drawer. “Now get on the bed, bitch.”
Malon shook her head. “No.”
“Do it, or the fifteen-year-old will have to suffer because you didn't obey my orders. Oh yeah, and our kid will die. And so will you, of course.”
“I can't believe what a horrible person you are. First I hoped that perhaps you were just a bastard who fooled my dad. Then I thought you were a fucking rapist. Now I realize who you really are. You're a monster.”
“A monster who wants to make some love, you mean. Now get under me, bitch, or I'll go down to Kakariko Village right now and fuck that fifteen-year-old…and I'll tell everyone it's your fault.”
Malon hated herself for obeying him, but she lay down on the bed and let Ivo undress her once again. Then he lay on top of her and slowly caressed her stomach.
“Can't wait for the baby to come.” And so after slipping out of his pants, he popped his cock inside of her without another word. “C'mon, be happy. At least you don't have to worry about me getting you pregnant, since you're already pregnant right now.”
“Ha-ha. Very funny, you fucking bastard.”
“Seriously, enjoy the ride. You might as well.”
“Fuck you…”
“I said…enjoy it.” He pointed to the drawer in mid-thrust and frowned.
Malon faked an orgasm and moaned as he covered her, once again, with his semen.
“I'm glad you see it my way.”
