“How'd you come to that conclusion?” said Sakura, who was frowning at him. Cloud felt that he might have turned the only people he could trust against him.

“You guys are always talking about something, and I know you were all kidnapped from your worlds, and if there's nothing wrong with any of you, then you will do anything to get out of here,” continued Cloud, not relenting. The world “kidnapped” seemed to hit them all hard. “I also want to do something about this. If you have a plan, I'm ready to…”

Naruto punched him, square in the face, shouting out, “Show some decency! Not all of us have accepted that we can't get back home.”

“W-what are you talking about?” said Cloud, rubbing his nose. “If this school was closed down then-“

“We'd be stuck here if this school were closed down.” Naruto was shaking, his eyes hidden, though Cloud could tell he was inwardly crying. “I always had a dream. It was to become the greatest Hokage ever.” Now his voice was now cracking with emotion. “And I will never give up.” He looked up, resolve shining in his eyes. “We may not have a plan, but I am ready to fight at any time.”

“I'm with you,” said Sasuke, punching the air.

“I-I don't know.” Everyone looked at the source. Tifa was leaning against a bedpost looking into space. “For me, this school may be one of the best thing to happen to me. Before now, I lived in the streets, fending for myself. For me… this school is actually heaven.” Before Cloud could yell (has it occurred to anyone that “cloud” and “could” have the same letters?) against her view, a knock on the door stopped the conversation in its run-away track.

“Dinner.” That was all.

But immediately, Naruto was instantly out the door and racing down the way that Cloud had come from, shouting, “Dinner, dinner, dinner, dinner.” Cloud looked out the door curious. He thought he had recognized that voice. He looked down the hall both ways. No one. He gulped. Everyone else passed by him.

“I also tried to find out who he is.” Cloud looked around his shoulder. It was Sasuke. Figures. He looked around again. “You should hurry,” said Sasuke, walking away. “I'll save you a seat.” Cloud turned to thank him, but he was already gone. Cloud then looked at the empty corridor. He took a step forward. He gulped. He took another step. And another. Soon, he fell into a slow walk. Then he ran, while other kids ran past him. Finally he heard something knock on a door. It couldn't be… it was Seij!

“Well, if it isn't the boy. I was wondering where you were put,” Seij said, turning to face him. Cloud was slightly shocked, yet he felt that he was connected to him. “You should be at lunch.”

“Well, I was just wondering what you were doing here.”

“Well then. I am the head boy of the first hundreds.”

“Huh?”

“There is obviously more than the kids here. There in fact, approximately 3000 children.”

“Is someone there?” called the kid behind the door Seij was about to knock.

“Dinner,” responded Seij, moving on. The door was flung open as three boys ran past Cloud. Then Cloud noticed something.

“How come there're only boys here?”

“Wouldn't you like to know?”

“Where've you been Cloud? Naruto had to duel a huge guy to save the last pizza slice of…” Sasuke stopped, as Cloud gladly took his seat. He took the pizza which Naruto had saved him, and took a bite out of it.

“Thanks Naruto.”

“So, where were,” asked Naruto, again, smiling wolfishly.

Cloud gulped before answering. “Have you heard of the Co-teachers?”

“Huh?”

“They help the teachers govern the school. I think they also help teach certain things. But the one who knocked on our door. He is… different. They all are. Take that Gaara for-“

“You saw Gaara!?!” yelled both Naruto and Sasuke. The cafeteria was still really loud, but Cloud could hear whispers.

“Did you hear that? Naruto and Sasuke said something about Gaara?”

“What, is he here too?” The two talking about this wore headbands, with embossed with the same spiral and everything. Are they from the same universe?

“Tell us what happened? How'd you meet him? How'd he become a slave to those… teachers?”

“I know someone who can tell you everything.” The gang turned their heads to look at the speaker. A brown-eyed kid, with mousy hair, which matched his eyes. “Name's Tracy!” he said, pointing his thumb at himself.

“What can you tell us about Gaara?” asked Naruto, looking really frustrated.

“His name's Devin,” said Tracy, looking at Naruto, a smiled sprawled across his face.

“Uh-huh, and where do I find him?” Suddenly a kid walked up behind him. He was holding a pie in one hand.

“Hey pal, you know what happens to trouble-makers?” he asked, a smiled crawling across his face, the pie weighing heavily in his hand. Before Naruto could shout out something (it was on the tip of his tongue, any viewers could tell), he was wearing a pie pan for a hat, with applesauce flowing down his face.

“Oh yeah,” retorted Naruto, holding his own pie, which, though half-eaten, seemed really, really big. Too bad. A good waste of pie, truly. It found itself into the bully's face, much to a hungry Cloud's disappointment. Oh man. A hamburger flew next. Then an entire pizza pan. This one, Naruto dodged, but it instead landed straight on the table. It bounced, and flipped a cup of apple sauce high up in the air…Splot! Onto the raven-black hair of Sasuke Uchiha. Sasuke looked up from his own lunch. He was pissed now. He glared at the kid who threw the pizza pan. He calmly picked up the pizza (Cloud quietly took a slice while everyone else was watching Sasuke). Suddenly, Sasuke went up the boy, leaping over three tables, and dented the pizza pan on the poor bloke's head.

“FOOD FIGHT!” came the shout. Suddenly, hamburgers, pizza and Ramen was flying everywhere. Cloud ducked as an initial reaction. He hid under the table, shrinking along the length. Then he saw a co-teacher. Too late for them. The mayhem was full-fledged. Stopping it was like shooting a bazooka at yourself and living! Then he saw a shadowed teacher, waving him off. It looked like a female. That reminded him. Where are the girls? They'd want to know about Gaara.

Cloud wasn't sure if he could trust the bouncy Tracy, or this Devin guy either. Devin, a black-eyed 17-year-old was apparently rather skilled at fighting, was once said to be a part of an old gang. A gang, which, coincidentally, was started by Gaara. “Yup, I remember that guy, as creepy today as he ever was,” he said when the first asked.

“Cut to the chase,” shouted Naruto, frowning, angry for not knowing how his friend become a mindless slave.

“I'll tell yah now,” said Devin, wagging his finger in Naruto's direction. “Patience, its what saved me from Gaara's betrayal. He he.”

“Just tell us already!” scowled Naruto, folding his arms and looking away.
